Nervous. Mom has her hoof on her withers, gently rubbing at Cadance’s wing joints. And dad is blatantly nuzzling her.
Cadance catches him looking and smiles, like she and Shining are sharing some sort of secret. Which one? That he and she have been fooling around? Or that he and Twilight fucked? Maybe she’s trying to tell him about herself and his parents. Literally overnight his family has grown incredibly complicated.
She winks.
“I’m done,” he mutters, slipping from the table. Any longer and he’ll have to watch the three of them go from nuzzling to fondling. Or he’ll say something he’ll regret. He rushes upstairs and hides in his bedroom. Feels his heart racing. Feels out of control. Last night, when he felt out of control, Twilight helped him, in her own way. What would Twilight do?
She’d tell him to stop being such a whiny bitch, for one. To stop complaining and whining and expecting things to come to him. So he can’t tell them to stop, can’t ask mom and dad to stop fucking his fillyfriend. Twilight would tell him to be a fucking stallion for once, and to take what he wants.
And despite everything, what he wants is Cadance. It’s always been Cadance. No matter how imperfect she might be. No matter how infatuated she may be with his parents. She’s going to fuck other ponies, and may never fuck him. She keeps secrets. And sometimes she can be hurtful. But so can Shining, when he isn’t careful. He has his own secrets. And he just slept with Twilight—his little sister! He’s not so much better than she is.
He looks at the comic book Cadance brought, just for him.
Cadance isn’t some bimbo whore. She’s funny. Clever. Shares interests with Shining and takes care of Twilight. None of that’s changed.
And if he can convince her to stop letting his parents abuse her? There’s something satisfying about being a knight in shining armor—
“Oh, I get it.”
—and trying to save the Princess in peril, even if it is a lost cause.
Of course, he realizes with a smile, Twilight would also tell him to go downstairs and fuck Cadance. But he’s not sure he’s ready for that level of chivalry.
Shining grabs his homework and heads back downstairs.
In the kitchen, Cadance is sitting between his dad’s knees, the two of them squeezed together on their tiny chair. He’s whispering in Cadance’s ear and rubbing a hoof between her thighs. His mom is leaning against her, kissing her neck. Cadance is panting and wiggling in place, a thick blush burning her cheeks.
Shining gulps, then steps up beside Cadance. Ignoring his parents, he says, “Have a nice day, Cadance.” Before he can chicken out, he reaches up and awkwardly kisses her on the cheek. Then he’s out the door, not waiting to see how everypony reacts.
It’s bright outside. Up ahead is Twilight, sprawled out on the grass, dozing. She’s curled around a pile of school books. It looks like she tripped. He picks her up and plops her on his back, grabs her books with his teekay, and trots off towards school. Wonders what he’ll say when he sees Carpenter, and when Cadance will sit them next.
Just another day.
