After the fact that she was almost caught by Twilight and had to go through a bunch of dumb lessons,
Rainbow was tired and went to bed. The next day she was greeted by Nang.

"Seems like you are ready for your first mission," Nang said.

Finally, the moment she had been waiting for.

"Yes! So when do I start?"

"Now," Nang said opening a portal.

"Now!?" Rainbow asked.

"Yes, now! Take this. It will let you scan the area."

Nang handed Rainbow a pair of goggles. One side had scanners on it, the other was blank.

Rainbow took it.

On the other Side of the portal she saw a gigantic base. The size of 5 football fields. It hovered in the air.

"How are we supposed to take that down?!" Rainbow asked, panicking.

The battlefield looked like a battlefield from a video game! There was a crashed plane in the distance and dead people at their feet.

She scanned the area and saw 100 enemies attacking there team, and they had guns.

Luckily, she spotted a sniper with her scanner and dodged before she got shot.

She flew up and knocked him out by kicking him in the head while doing a rainboom.

Unfortunately, that attracted a lot of attention. They started shooting at her. Luckily, she had a plan. If she could perform a double rainboom inside the base, it could explode it. Easy, right? Except there was a high chance of death. It was the only solution she could think of, so she did it.

Already at mach 15, she just needed to go 5 mach faster to do a double rainboom. She flew in the base.

Inside, there were multiple soldiers, shooting at her. There were ammo on the table and there were guns on the shelves. She sped up.

Going at mach 19, she only needed one more mach until the Rainboom.

BOOM!!! She heard a loud boom and was engulfed in metal as the ship exploded into flames.

"AAHHH!!!" Rainbow screamed falling along with the ship.

The ship luckily only fell at a slow speed. Unluckily, it was going fast enough to completely explode on contact with the floor.

She tried flying out. Laser doors came down, locking her in.

"You think you could escape? If we are going down, you are coming with us!" the leader of the crew said.

Everyone shot at her. She flew at high speed, dodging their bullets. Luckily, the ship was big with a lot of cover.

PEW!!! Rainbow was shot in the wing.

"Ahhh!!!" Rainbow yelled in pain.

She fell to the floor. She took cover behind a cabinet.

Luckily, there was a gun racket next to her. She grabbed a spare gun. She was lucky that the triggers were big enough for her to use.

She spammed the trigger. She ended up killing half of them.

"That's it! I'm going to kill you myself!" the leader said.

Rainbow shot him in the leg and he cried out in pain. A guard from above landed on Rainbow.

"Ow!!!" Rainbow yelled.

"Gotcha now, sucker." was the last thing rainbow heard before blacking out.

~In the mean time~

The ship hit the ground and... KABOOM!!! The whole ship exploded.

"Rainbow?!? Can you here me?" Rainbow heard Nang say as she was transported to their base. She closed her eyes.

She woke up in bed with a headache.

Rainbow sat up, "Where are we?"

"We are in Ponyville, in your house," Nang said.

"What time is it?" Rainbow asked.

"The same time that you left," Nang said.

Rainbow sighed in relief. "What happened?"

"We transported you to a hospital at base and healed you. You were lucky to survive. Anyway, we won though! Well, I'll leave you to it," Nang said as he left.

Rainbow laid back down and slept. She would need it.
