She looked outside the windows and saw stars, shiny in space. At that time, she realized she was in space. "Where am I!?" Rainbow Dash said getting up panicking. "Good to see you're awake," said a mysterious voice from the shadows. "Who's there!?", Rainbow Dash said. The voice stepped out of the shadows. It was a normal pony like Rainbow. "Sorry if I disturbed you. My name is Nang, short for Nang Shi," Nang said. "Why the heck am I here!? Where am I!? What did you do to my friends!?" Rainbow yelled, stressed out and worried. "It is okay. I am not here to hurt you," Nang said, "I am an alien from a planet called Vortexio. My planet was destroyed and now I have come here to help others. I swore on my life I would protect everyone that is good. And that is where YOU come in." "Excuse me?" Rainbow responded. "I know you are very confused. I will answer all your questions shortly," Nang continued, "As I said, I am Nang and I have sent Norg, my assistance also from Vortexio, to teleport you here for a reason. You are here because we think you have a potential of becoming one of us. We are the Dimensional Protectors and we want you as one of us. "Hold on, did you say dimensional?" Rainbow asked. "Yes, and if you don't believe me, we have special gear from alternate dimensions that we can show you," Nang said. "Ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ohmygosh! You travel through different dimensions to protect everyone!??! That's so cool!" Rainbow Dash said. "Now, if you don't have anymore questions, we can move on to the training," Nang said. "Wow this is even better than the Wonderbolts!" Rainbow Dash muttered. They got out of the room and walked down the hallway. Rainbow saw tons of workers suiting up and getting ready to battle. "If you are an alien, then why do you look like a pony?" Rainbow Dash asked. "We have to wear a special suit so we look nice and friendly to other beings, otherwise they might pass out from looking at us." Nang said. Rainbow was terrified at the thought of that, but she continued on. They were at the end of the hallway when they reached a door. It had 'Training zone' inscribed into the door. They went in. Author's Note I just came up with names for the aliens, since I couldn't come up with anything. Lol:D //-------------------------------------------------------// The end of Training //-------------------------------------------------------// The end of Training Rainbow had finally completed the laps as she touched down and landed gasping for breath. "I-I can't believe I did that." Rainbow said. "Now, when you're ready, I want you to fly in a straight line as fast as possible," Nang said. "Okay," Rainbow said, still exhausted. She lined up at the start. At that moment, she took a deep breath. She blasted away. She was picking up speed faster than before as she watched the bubble form around her. BOOM!!! Rainbow Dash looked behind her and saw a swirl of rainbow explode behind her. Although, she wasn't done yet. She started picking up speed again as she reached mach 10... 15... and BOOM!!! She did another rainboom and this time there were 2 spirals of Rainbow! At that moment she looked behind and was so shocked that she couldn't see the wall ahead of her. Splat! "Ouch," Rainbow Dash said dizzily. "Great job! Now if you could just go a little bit faster, you would have enough speed energy to travel through time!" "Say what now?" Rainbow Dash said, confused. "Oh, right. Forgot to explain this to you. Speed energy is when you go so fast that it creates energy around you. Take this for example. The speed you were going at provides enough energy to power a TV for a whole day," Nang explained. "Wow!" Rainbow said, pleased with herself, "I can't wait to show my friends!" At that thought, she remembered her friends. "I can't believe I forgot about my friends! You have to take me back!" Rainbow said. "Oh, yeah. I forgot about your friends," Nang said, "I can take you back but you'll need this," he held up a watch, "and this," he said holding up a potion. "What do those do?" asked Rainbow. "This potion will grant you the ability to go twice as fast as your normal speed. It only lasts for 10 minutes," Nang explained, "and this other thing is a watch that can let you controll what dimension you go to at a certain speed and let you controll what time you will go to. Oh, and I almost forgot. It also tells the time." "Okay! Now can I have those?" Rainbow asked. "Oh, yes and don't forget that all those dimension settings are called dimensional coordinates." Nang said, adjusting the Dimensional coordinates for Rainbow Dash. She grabbed the potion, drank it, and put on the watch. The potion tasted like green apple soda. "Good luck," Nang said. "Don't need it," Rainbow said with a smirk. And with that, she blasted off. She was going so fast she already did a rainboom at the start. 30 seconds later she did a double rainboom. 'Come on, just a little bit more..." Rainbow thought as she went at mach 50. She was 50 feet from the wall when she thought, Oh my gosh.... Then, instead of hitting the wall, right when she reached mach 60, another rainboom appeared. This time THREE swirls of rainboom exploded. She saw a portal appear infront of her. "Ahh!!!!" Rainbow screamed as she went through it. When she was in the portal, she saw so much different colors around her. She also noticed that there were multiple pathways. The watch forced her into a path. As she landed, she felt the effects of the potion wearing off. "Man, I'm out of breath," Rainbow Dash said to herself, "Better get back to Ponyville." And with that, she flew to Ponyville ~At Ponyville~ Rainbow Dash decided to get a cupcake from Sugarcube corner. "Hello Dashie! Did you get a good night's sleep?" Pinkie asked Rainbow as she walked in. "Yeah, it was fine," Rainbow said, yawning. Pinkie eyed her suspiciously. "What would you like to order?" Pinkie asked. "The usual," Rainbow Dash said. "Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie said, going to go and get Rainbow's cupcake. ~A few seconds later~ "Here's your cupcake!" Pinkie said, balancing the cupcake on a plate on her nose. "Thanks Pinkie," Rainbow said, taking the plate. After she was done with her cupcake, she flew home, exhausted. When she was at home, she collapsed on the bed. "Nice bed," she muttered to herself, falling asleep quickly. She flew outside and set up a track. "There we go," Rainbow said as she finished. She flew to the start and stretched her wings. 100 laps, rainboom speed, Rainbow thought to herself. She blasted off picking up speed fast. "Whoo!" Rainbow yelled, dashing through the track perfectly through the loops she set up. She finally reached mach 5 and... BOOM!!! She did a sonic rainboom. She circled around her 300 meter track 100 times and stopped for a break. She decided to go get a hayburger. "What would you like?" the waiter said. "The usual," Rainbow responded. "Coming right up," the waiter said, walking away. The aroma of hayburgers filled her nose. The waiter came back with the hayburger. "Mmm..." She said as she ate the hayburger. After she finished, she got back to work. She decided that if she was going to save the universe, she had to be fast and strong, so she decided to start practicing on her strength. She set a goal to do 50 wing-ups and 50 push-ups a day and increase it as she gets stronger. She started. 10 minutes later, she finished. She could feel herself getting stronger for practicing small amounts. She figured this was a HUGE advantage for becoming a Wonderbolt. She could now EASILY out fly the crew. Her goal, however, was to generate more speed energy to be able to go through different dimensions. Should be easy. One lap let's her go 0.1 (decreases as she gets stronger) wingspeed faster! She looked out in the distance and saw that it was already sunset. She headed to bed. She walked outside and greeted Nang. "So what are we going to be doing today?" Rainbow asked. "You are going to be learning a lot of important things. Back to school time!" Nang said, smiling as they walked through. "Oh, Come On!" Rainbow yelled in frustration. Nang chuckled, amused by Rainbow's anger. Learning things was Rainbow's least favorite thing EVER. "Do we have to?" Rainbow asked. "Yes, if you want to get out alive in certain dangerous situations." Nang said. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Fine," she said. They appeared on the other side. Rainbow noticed a bunch of other people there. "Today, we are going to be learning about atoms and how to use them to do special things like making a jetpack out of rocks and minerals." "Ugh," Rainbow groaned. This is going to be a very long day, she thought. Author's Note Sucks to be her :D //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission: One //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission: One After the fact that she was almost caught by Twilight and had to go through a bunch of dumb lessons, Rainbow was tired and went to bed. The next day she was greeted by Nang. "Seems like you are ready for your first mission," Nang said. Finally, the moment she had been waiting for. "Yes! So when do I start?" "Now," Nang said opening a portal. "Now!?" Rainbow asked. "Yes, now! Take this. It will let you scan the area." Nang handed Rainbow a pair of goggles. One side had scanners on it, the other was blank. Rainbow took it. On the other Side of the portal she saw a gigantic base. The size of 5 football fields. It hovered in the air. "How are we supposed to take that down?!" Rainbow asked, panicking. The battlefield looked like a battlefield from a video game! There was a crashed plane in the distance and dead people at their feet. She scanned the area and saw 100 enemies attacking there team, and they had guns. Luckily, she spotted a sniper with her scanner and dodged before she got shot. She flew up and knocked him out by kicking him in the head while doing a rainboom. Unfortunately, that attracted a lot of attention. They started shooting at her. Luckily, she had a plan. If she could perform a double rainboom inside the base, it could explode it. Easy, right? Except there was a high chance of death. It was the only solution she could think of, so she did it. Already at mach 15, she just needed to go 5 mach faster to do a double rainboom. She flew in the base. Inside, there were multiple soldiers, shooting at her. There were ammo on the table and there were guns on the shelves. She sped up. Going at mach 19, she only needed one more mach until the Rainboom. BOOM!!! She heard a loud boom and was engulfed in metal as the ship exploded into flames. "AAHHH!!!" Rainbow screamed falling along with the ship. The ship luckily only fell at a slow speed. Unluckily, it was going fast enough to completely explode on contact with the floor. She tried flying out. Laser doors came down, locking her in. "You think you could escape? If we are going down, you are coming with us!" the leader of the crew said. Everyone shot at her. She flew at high speed, dodging their bullets. Luckily, the ship was big with a lot of cover. PEW!!! Rainbow was shot in the wing. "Ahhh!!!" Rainbow yelled in pain. She fell to the floor. She took cover behind a cabinet. Luckily, there was a gun racket next to her. She grabbed a spare gun. She was lucky that the triggers were big enough for her to use. She spammed the trigger. She ended up killing half of them. "That's it! I'm going to kill you myself!" the leader said. Rainbow shot him in the leg and he cried out in pain. A guard from above landed on Rainbow. "Ow!!!" Rainbow yelled. "Gotcha now, sucker." was the last thing rainbow heard before blacking out. ~In the mean time~ The ship hit the ground and... KABOOM!!! The whole ship exploded. "Rainbow?!? Can you here me?" Rainbow heard Nang say as she was transported to their base. She closed her eyes. She woke up in bed with a headache. Rainbow sat up, "Where are we?" "We are in Ponyville, in your house," Nang said. "What time is it?" Rainbow asked. "The same time that you left," Nang said. Rainbow sighed in relief. "What happened?" "We transported you to a hospital at base and healed you. You were lucky to survive. Anyway, we won though! Well, I'll leave you to it," Nang said as he left. Rainbow laid back down and slept. She had promised to come to Pinkie's party, even though it was her third party this week. She heard the wind softly flowing outside. The sun was shining and it was the perfect temperature for flying. "Ah, I just love the fresh air," Rainbow said. She flew outside, going to the sugarcube corner. The party wasn't supposed to start until in 15 minutes, but she decided to come early to get a quick snack. Pinkie wasn't there, so she guessed that she was out getting supplies for the party. ~15 minutes later~ The party had started and all of her friends were there. She could smell cupcakes everywhere. "Hi Dashie!" Pinkie said excitedly. "I'm so glad you're here! Want a cupcake?" Pinkie said holding up a cupcake for Rainbow Dash. "No thanks," Rainbow Dash responded, "I already had one this morning." "Okay! Enjoy the party!" Pinkie said, dashing off to treat the other guests. ~After the party...~ Rainbow Dash flew home, exhausted and collapsed onto her soft, cozy cloud bed. She was sleeping when she heard a loud bang in her kitchen. "Wah?" Rainbow Dash said, getting up. "Who's there? I know karate and I'm not afraid to use it!" She walked into her kitchen, observing it carefully. She saw a pan on the floor. "Ugh, dumb pan," she sighed, putting the pan back on the counter. Then, suddenly from behind, she was hit in the head. She stared at it as they walked past. Nang grabbed something. "Here, eat this. It will make you have the ability to be stronger than ever." Nang said. "Just exactly how much stronger?" Rainbow asked. "Well, it doesn't exactly make you stronger, but it makes you evolve so you can get stronger faster. It also let's you have the ability to never have max capacity of strength. Usually, you would only have a max speed of a double rainboom without dying from exhaustion. If you eat this, you'll be able to go infinitely beyond that. With the right amount of training, of course. It also lets you gain strength or speed or agility 10 times faster than you could've before. It severely hurts though. Are you sure you can handle this?" Nang said. Rainbow hesitated. "I think I can handle it," she said with a grin. She looked at the mushroom. It looked like a mushroom from Super Mario Bros, except It was swirling with Rainbows. Rainbow Dash ate it. She felt a severe pain in her stomach. She collapsed. By the time she woke up she was lying on the floor. "Thank goodness youre okay!" Nang said. Rainbow sat up. "My head hurts." "Well of course it does. You just evolved in 5 minutes!" Nang said. "Just tell me when you are ready to start your training." Rainbow stood up. "I think I'm ready." "Good. Now do 200 laps at top speed around this court." The court was 100 yards wide. "Seriously!?" Rainbow said. "Yes! Now go before I make you do 400!" "Okay, okay!" "Ah, you're finally awake," said Nang. "Ah!" Rainbow shouted, startled from Nang's sudden appearance. "Sorry to startle you, but didn't I mention you coming back? Come," Nang said, opening a portal. "How do you do that?"Rainbow asked as they walked in and the portal closed. ~At base~ Rainbow and Nang appeared in the training area. "Now, you will practice gaining your strength. I want you to do 100 wing-ups and 100 push-ups. After that, take some weights and start lifting. You can practice other things in your free time, but now do what I told you to do," Nang ordered. "Okay," Rainbow said, starting her wing-ups. ~1 hour later~ Rainbow had just finished as she lay on the ground, tired. All of her muscles were sore and her body was burning. "AH! It burns!" Rainbow said. "You'll get used to it," stated Nang, "Now you are going to practice meditating. You are going to do this by sitting, breathing in and out slowly through your nose naturally, and only focuse on one thought. Do not judge the thought in any way, just observe it. The purpose of this exercise is to strengthen your mind and stamina. It will help you perform magic later on. Do this for 10 minutes." Rainbow obeyed. ~10 minutes later~ "Now, I think that is every thing for today. Now you can go home and practice some more. Oh, I almost forgot. Don't do a double rainboom at Ponyville. It will cause a lot of destruction, do to the pressure of the boom," Nang said, clapping his hooves opening a portal. Rainbow walked through. Ill go check if Rainbow Dash is home, again," Twilight said. "I hope Dashie is alright," Pinkie said. ~At Rainbows house~ "Rainbow? Are you home?" Twilight asked, knocking on the door. No response came. She started walking away when she heard a portal noise. "Huh? Rainbow? Are you home?" Twilight asked again. 'Shoot' Rainbow thought as she opened the door. "Twilight? What are you doing here?" Rainbow asked. "The girls and I have been worrying about you! Where have you been?" Twilight said, suspicious of Rainbow. "Practicing!" Rainbow said quickly. She had to keep her training a secret, or else they would be in serious danger! "Uh huh..." Twilight said eyeing her suspiciously. "I swear! I'm not trying to hide anything." Rainbow said. " You are really bad at keeping secrets, you know that, right? Spill it," Twilight said. "I TOLD, I'M NOT HIDING ANYTHING!" Rainbow said, raising her voice. "Fine," Twilight said, giving up.
