A predator meets ponies

After the events with the Storm King and Ultimate, the girls and Spike returned home to Ponyville along with Scar, who decided to stay as well, while the other 3 yautja went to their signature homelands. As they were heading home, the girls each spoke of their weapons with Twilight saying to Scar

"Wow, your people must really have a strict honor code."

"These weapons we got are so cool!" Rainbow Dash said

"These fans could help with my new designs and even battles!" Rarity said, flaunting the fans with her magic

"I'm not sure if we should be playing with them now girls." Fluttershy said

"This spear is really fascinating, it looks as if it was centuries years old." Twilight said observing her spear.

"True, but compared to each of you, Spike's weapon is more stronger." Scar notified

The girls were shocked and Spike asked "What, How?"

"Remember what I told you, the true warrior is the one who shows honor, integrity and bravery. Spike showed he has these qualities and even aspects of the Elements you 6 possess, Honesty, Laughter, Loyalty, Generosity, Kindness and Magic. He is the true warrior because our race watched you for a long time and saw him and the times you six all showed levels of greed and selfishness, they deemed you inferior and him The Hero, that would also make you Bad-bloods yourselves in a way."

"WHAT!?" The girls said in shock at Scar's last statement

"Us, inferior?!" Rainbow Dash said with outrage

"Greedy?!" Twilight also said with shock

"And selfish?!" Rarity said in offense

"If you don't believe me, I can show you." Scar said

The girls and even Spike nodded and Scar immidietly activated something on his wrist and the moment he pressed some buttons, he showed a recording on his wrist and it showed a lonely and sad Spike with a banner that said Happy birthday Twilight!

The girls were shocked that they didn't remember while Spike said "Hey I remember that!, you guys didnt even tell me you moved Twilight's birthday!"

"We forgot but-" Twilight said, but Scar cut her off with another recording, this time it showed her of the time when he was being a punching bag from Rainbow Dash and Applejack in their competition. This only made the girls looks have more disbelief, while Applejack and Rainbow Dash gave looks of shock.

"But that was just a-" Rainbow said, but Scar again cut her off, this time the worst memory Spike had. The time in Winter wrap up when he had been frozen and while doing so, flicked his mandibles angrily at them, while the girls only looked at the scene in shock or dismay while Spike said

"I remember that too!, you guys didn't even help me that time and I was sick because I'm vulnerable to cold temperatures!"

The girls only looked on as Scar further pressed "Do you now see why my clan has deemed you inferior?"

The girls only had looks sadness and Rainbow suddenly said " But wait, if we're Bad-bloods, why did we get weapons?"

Scar replied "I said that was respect, not redemption, whomever killed a Bad-blood or shows worth in their hunt showed courage, but that doesn't change your honor, let alone your social status, plus that reason was because of the battle cuts that showed you aided in their hunt."

The girls saw the point in his answer and Applejack asked "And how do we know that's not all lies?"

"Because if it was, I wouldn't remember wouldn't I?" Spike said in a tone of dismay

"But he could be playing a trick on us!" Rainbow Dash said

"Really?, and what would my motive be?" Scar asked in disgust

The girls only gave looks of sadness as they realized that not only was the alien warrior indeed showing a valid reason for his accusation towards them, but the argument he explained to them was more then enough to show not just them that hurt Spike, but even the friends they made over the years. The girls remained silent as they headed home. With Twilight and Spike in her castle, Rainbow Dash in Cloudsdale, Rarity in her Boutique, Fluttershy in her cottage, Pinkie at Sugarcube corns, Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres and Scar at his ship that was downed at the Everfree Forest. He used his visor to see his ship's location and went to the location, avoiding the traps he made, as he went inside his ship and went inside his bed to sleep.

(Later)

It was still night, and Scar was still sleeping, as he did, he heard a knock on the door and went to check it out, he opened the door to see none other then Spike who said

"Um...hi."

"Spike, what are you doing this late at night, and how did you find me?"

"Um, it's kinda complicated but..can we talk alone inside?"

Scar nodded and let Spike inside and the two went in and sat down as Scar asked " What is it you wish to speak about?"

Spike said "It's just..., when you said I was the true warrior, it wasn't because I had no amount of power whatsoever? I mean Twilight is really good at magic and Applejack is strong and Rainbow Dash is really fast and I'm only good at sending scrolls. "

"No, the title of the true warrior is earned, the reason you earned it was because out of all the girls and even Starlight, you show honor and that you will fight for your home. The other 6 had flaws of their own. Rainbow Dash tends to have a big ego, Pinkie's enthusiasm tends to get her in harm's way, Applejack's stubbornness of honesty can lead her to unintentionally lie not just to others but herself, Rarity may be generous yet uses that for personal gain like she does with you, Fluttershy may be nice and treat others nicely, but not equally when it comes to you and Twilight has always used you and used you as a tool."

Spike said "Wait, Twilight and Rarity don't use me!"

Scar, however replied by showing him recordings of some of the time Spike has gone through using a satellite of his kind to show the image, he revealed Twilight leaving him behind numerous times such as the time when they went to the Grand Galloping Gala or when Twilight kept Owliscious over him, then came Rarity constantly making help with her things and not even bothering to acknowledge him, such as when they went to Manehattan or when she too left him at the Gala. Spike only gave a look of tears, as if he knew but couldn't accept it and said

"But they only did that cause they were busy."

Scar said in a broken but matter of fact tone "Spike, it's obvious from what I've seen, they didn't view you as an equal."

Spike only broke down in tears, did they really not want him?, was a only just a tool?, he didnt know anymore as Scar picked up the now broken dragon and hugged him and said I'm comfort

"It's ok. It's ok."

Spike continued to cry as he didn't know the difference anymore, but Scar said

"How about you stay with me?"

"What?"

"I've seen the environment you suffered in, the acts that harmed you, your "friends" only benefiting from you. How about I be your friend. And I can teach you how to fight back more."

Spike only gave a look of tears with a smile and nodded saying "Yes, thank you" while hugging his new friend/teacher.

The two broke the hug as Scar showed a another room for Spike as he went in and said "Goodnight Spike, yoyr training starts tomorrow."

Spike nodded and replied "Goodnight Scar."

Scar had went to his room, but before he entered, he went to the control room and activated a force field. He then went to his room and went to sleep for the next day to come.
