This was supposed to be my final story but I just can't do much more. Please enjoy my broken masterpiece
To Tornado Alley!
Berlin Ohio
I was getting myself a room at the Berlin Grande hotel when the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end signifying something was about to go wrong " That will be 128 dollars for tonight please" the receptionist said to the mare next to me.
"Ok, here you go" the mare said placing a handful of bit's on the counter. The receptionist looked at her with a polite but forced smile
"I am sorry but we currently don't accept bits. If you have cash or credit I can still get your room" the receptionist looked down at the cash register "Damn lazy people don't even think about the pony's" she muttered looking back at a room behind her
"Oh, that's ok I will look around some more" the mare said. My mind went blank and before I could think I found myself talking
"Hey! she can have my room I already paid for it" I quickly said, the receptionist and the mare looked at me curiously. I forced a small smile and calmly gave the mare my room key before walking back towards the entrance.
"H..Hey! where are you going to stay then?" the mare asked from behind me, not stopping I pushed the door open and called out behind me
"I slept in my car before and I can do it again, it ain't no problem" I said. Closing the door behind me I walked out of the hotel and across the parking lot to my car. The air was hot but not unbearable, pulling out my car keys from my jeans I unlocked my blue 2003 Toyota Camry and opened the door. Hot air blasted my face and the seat was very hot, getting in I started the car and blasted the A/C but before I could close the door the mare from earlier stopped me.
"Please, why don't we just share the room? that would be best for us wouldn't it?" she said a slightly pleading tone in her voice, looking up at her I eyed her curiously.
"How do ya know I'm not some sort of creep? How do you know I won't murder you? Hell how can I even trust you?" I exclaimed "Look, let me break it down for you. Us human's can be deceptive and very dangerous, and sharing a room is generally not something strangers do. While asleep they could rob you or worse"
The mare looked at me and smiled, waves of heat passed behind her "If you haven't noticed I'm a unicorn. I can easily take you, and do not worry I would never hurt you without a reason" she then looked at me with a small hopeful smile.
Sighing I shut off the car and put the keys into my left pocket, standing up I locked the car and shut the door "I feel you won't let me leave without a fight so...... fine you win" I said slowly walking back to the entrance of the hotel. The mare smiled and happily trotted beside me. As we entered the lobby cold air blasted over my body causing me to let out a sigh, looking around I saw a staircase that lead up to the second floor. Past that on the left was the receptionist desk and an elevator next to it, on the right was the breakfast area that had a bunch of restaurant tables. Taking a deep breath the faint smell of cleaner and the familiar relaxing 'hotel smell' filled my lungs. Letting out my breath and breathing normal I started walking up the staircase to the second floor and to our room. My parents gave me the money to stay here but after the first night it was up to me to pay, feeling tired I stopped in front of door number 26. Looking over at the mare I folded my arms "well? I gave you the room key" I said trying not to sound snarky. The mare looked at me and smiled before using her magic to slide the key card across unlocking the door. Opening the door I walked in and flopped onto the bed quickly hiding my wallet under the mattress.
"Wow, nice room!" The mare exclaimed looking around, setting her saddlebag down she turned and look at me "Hey, you ok? it's a nice day out. why don't you go out and explore?" she had a small but hopeful smile on her face and looking around I remembered what I came here to do
"uhh," I moaned "I need to sleep, I have a LONG drive ahead of me" opening an eye I looked at her "I am driving down to tornado alley for the season, here on Earth the weather cannot be controlled by pegasi, there is too much space and the weather is too reliant on other systems. It would be impossible for them to control it so we still have tornadoes and such" stretching out I grabbed a pillow and placed it under my head the smell of freshly cleaned fabric filling my nose.
"well...... I was hoping that you would be willing to take me to get some food. I have not eaten for a few hours." she said shyly, grunting I remembered that I needed to fuel up my car anyways so killing two birds with one stone seemed like a good idea.
"Ok, let's head down to the gas station you can get food there" I said quickly pulling my wallet from the mattress and putting it back into my back pocket. Standing I headed for the door but stopped when I realized I was already outside, the hot summer sun making my body warm I looked around and saw the mare standing next to my car. "cool, magic I forgot" walking to my car me and the mare hopped in. She looked nervous but I chalked that up to being her first time in a car "you ever ride in a car before?" I asked feeling the heat cover my body.
"No, I recently got here to earth, in fact I left Equestria yesterday. I ended up here so I decided to stay awhile" she said " Oh I almost forgot my name" she extended a hoof towards me "Name's Charged Breeze, what's yours?"
"Name's Austin. Austin Garcia, nice to meet you Charged Breeze" I said bumping her hoof. After that I buckled up and started the car "you have to buckle up" I said pointing to the seat belt with a smile
"Please, just call me Bree. And I don't know how to use these 'seat belts' could you show me?" she asked used her magic and tugged on the belt, chuckling I reached over and properly buckled her up before starting the car and heading down the road to the gas station. "wow, this is so cool!" she exclaimed looking out the window
'We just started moving and she is already excited' I thought. Stopping I turned on the blinker and looked both ways before driving out. The rest of the drive was uneventful, Bree just looked out the window and I was listening to classic rock with my arm out the window. When we did get there I undid her buckle and gave her $50 to get food while I pumped gas
'Why do I always end up giving my money to random people/pony's? In a few days I am going to be living off of plant roots again' I thought to myself. The pump clicked and the smell of gasoline filled my nose, finishing up I headed inside, Bree was looking at a bunch of stuff so I walked to the counter and paid for the gas. There was a sign on the register that said "we accept bit's" and I turned to Bree but said nothing, she paid for her things and we set off back to the hotel. Nothing else happened for the rest of that day, Bree just watched T.V and ate her snacks while I tried to get some sleep for tomorrow.
When tomorrow came I took a quick shower and peeked at the clock,

Sighing I grabbed my phone, phone charger, and my wallet from under the bed before leaving, when I got down to my car I was shocked to see Bree sitting patiently in the front seat and her luggage bag in the back, I walked up and hopped in
"what are you doing here? I thought you were asleep back in the room!" I said shocked, looking past her I could see the sun just starting to creep over the horizon.
"well" she tapped her hooves together in front of her, "you said you were going to tornado alley and I got curious, so I looked up where that was." she looked at me and smiled "You helped me, so I thought the least I could do would be to accompany you for your long drive" she kept tapping her hooves together but stopped and looked at me "Unless you wanted to go alone, If that's the case I will stay here," Bree said in a slightly sad tone. I looked over at her and quickly looked away,
"F....fine FINE! just stop with those damn puppy eyes," I said "damn pony's have to be so adorable" I mumbled. Starting the car I rolled the windows down and started making my way to the state line.

I sang along to the song as we drove. The wind blew in through the open windows flowing over me, looking over I could see that Bree was captivated by my music, my singing, and the scenery, by now we have been driving for six hours and needed a break, we stopped at a small gas station to stretched our legs then use the restroom. After some shenanigans we took off again this time instead of music we familiarized ourselves with each other, we asked questions about when we were young our friends and just general questions about each other.
"so you have had a pretty rough life huh? I'm sorry for you" Bree said looking down at the dashboard, I in turn just laughed and ruffled her mane a bit
"you don't have to be sorry for me, what happened happened. There ain't nothing you can do about it" I said in a chipper tone, we stayed in silence for a few minutes until I turned the radio back on. More driving later and it was getting dark and my eyes were getting heavy so I pulled in a truck stop and parked, rolling the windows up and shutting off the car I leaned my seat back and closed my eye's "you wanted to travel with me so here we are. Now get some shut-eye, you will need it." I said shifting into a more comfy position. From the corner of my eye I could see her sit there confused, but she quickly undid her seat belt with her magic and curled herself into a ball of fluff.
I woke up at 5:37 in the morning, putting my seat to its normal position I put calming music on from my phone and gently buckled up Bree. Starting the car I pulled out back onto the highway, the calming music kept Bree asleep while I drove towards my destination. It was not until 8:26 when Bree finally woke up
"where are we?" she asked, sitting up she let out a yawn before looking around finally setting her gaze onto me
"well, we are currently just outside of Canton, Oklahoma" I said gesturing to the wilderness. "tomorrow we start the storm chasing!" I exclaimed happily. Bree just smiled at me as we pulled into the hotel, we checked in and spent the rest of the day exploring the town before returning to the hotel. This time I paid for a two-bed, bed-room because I liked the company of Bree and did not mind having her around, it was refreshing because I usually traveled alone. Letting out a sigh I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep while Bree watched T.V
When the day came it came with force, I woke up early in the morning and checked the radar, finding that later in the afternoon there was a chance of storms to flare up I started making a map of where to position myself. After a quick shower I woke up Bree and started packing up my map's and computer
"morning Austin," Bree said groggily, smiling I rolled my maps up and sat down on the end of the bed.
"morning, hope you slept well," I said flipping the TV to the weather channel "you should shower while you can, when we leave we are going to be gone all day," I said, Bree lazily slid out of bed and made her way to the bathroom while I relaxed.
"breaking news!" the TV bellowed "we have reports of severe weather popping up on the dryline." the newscaster said showing some radar picture's " For plot reasons we have a chance of Tornadic weather popping up later this afternoon." Taking out my maps and laptop I drew several marks on different roads and towns before putting them back away.
"Bree, It's go time, you all ready?" I yelled standing up and putting on my boot's, a few minutes later Bree popped out of the bathroom
"we heading out?" she asked grabbing her saddlebag from the floor, grabbing the TV remote I turned and shut it off before looking back at her,
"yes, we got to go out early to get the good ones" I said. Turning I started walking to the door with Bree right behind me, while we made our way down to the lobby we walked by a mare and stallion
"See!" the stallion said pointing a hoof at us "I don't know why you think pony/human relations are uncommon," he said looking at the mare
"I never said I thought it was uncommon, I said you don't see it much," she said, slowly the two voices faded behind us as we made our way down to the lobby. I didn't care much but Bree was blushing slightly, we told the front desk we were leaving and that we would be back later before heading out to my car. Jumping in my car I started it up and rolled down the windows before we drove out of town to a small storm, I parked my car on the dirt siding and got out to observe the growing storm.
"what are you looking at?" Bree asked also looking up at the storm "hmm, looks like it's going to be a bad storm huh?" she said while levitating a pair of binoculars from her saddlebag. I grabbed the maps from in the car and sat down on the hood before pulling out my phone to look at the radar. Looking over the maps I marked escape routes and potential "death" roads when Bree nudged my knee with her head "hey, this storm is looking pretty bad and it looks to be heading this way" she said. Looking up I saw that the storm had moved towards our current position and that it was still growing in strength, chuckling I looked over to Bree and put my hand on her head
"Hey, if you're nervous then go in the car but you're the one that wanted to chase with me," I said ruffling her mane, just then mother nature thought it would be funny to pull a sneaky and clap out some thunder. Bree squeaked and jumped into my lap after the thunder faded she quickly got off of me and sat down in the dirt with a bright blush on her face
"s.. sorry that just kind of surprised me," she said kicking a small pebble, smiling I ruffled her mane again before turning to the incoming storm. Pushing my glasses up I crossed one leg and folded my arms as the wind blew over me
"Nah your fine, to be honest it got me too" I said. By now the storm had blocked out the sun leaving a looming grey shadow "we should probably get in the car, it will start raining here pretty soon" I said. Bree nodded and we both got in the car, as I was looking over my maps again I could hear the thunder from outside grow louder and rain starting to hit the window. Quickly I rolled all the windows up after that the wind picked up and it started raining pretty hard, Bree looked nervous so I offered her my hand, she looked at it and to me before putting her hoof in it and holding it.

The storm was fully on us now and the wind was at an all-time high, we sat in the car in silence as I looked over my maps again and looked at the radar on my phone plus the different radars open on my laptop. Bree was holding my hand as I did all this and I was, and still am confused about how pony grip things with there hooves. I started the car and U-turned around to follow the storm as we were on the tail end of it now, small hail slammed against the roof of the car as I followed the storm for a bit until my emergency weather radio went off
Weather alert
"BEEEP-BEEEP-BEEEP- The national weather service in Norman has issued a tornado warning for the following coun-" I shut off the emergency radio and looked over at Bree with a smile
"We got one!" I said excitedly looking at my phone and laptop "alright, I'm going to try and get ahead of the storm" I said driving faster through the rain. In the distance I could hear tornado sirens going off, as we drove Bree spoke up
"We are not going to get hurt are we?" she asked a noticeable shake in her voice, I looked at her and smiled while quickly turning down a dirt road
"I would never put you in harm's way, Bree, we have only known each other for a day now but you should know that," I said, after that, we drove through a thick barrier of rain to revile a small tornado on the ground. Bree looked at it in wonder and horror and I looked at it in amazement and wonder, I slowed down and watched as the small tornado danced its dance of death across an open field. We watched in wonder as the ghostly twister spun and twirled in its haunting show of power and grace. I stopped the car and got out into the wild wind's, Bree shouted at me to get back in but I ignored her as I took picture after picture of the ghostly snaky vortex. The wind shifted direction and became stronger so I jumped back in the car and started driving forwards for a bit until I was happy. The tornado danced across the road about 1,000 feet from us which is close, after the tornado crossed the street it dissipated leaving me and Bree alone with the now labeled "severe thunderstorm" which was true as the storm was losing strength. I didn't notice that Bree got out of the car with me to watch the tornado until I felt her lean against my waist, we stood in the rain for a bit until I felt her shiver and decided to call it a day.

The drive back was quiet and kind of cold, when we got back to the hotel we both went up to our room to dry off. When we entered our room I was about to apologize for not warning her about what it would be like when she looked at me and smiled "T... that was awesome!" she exclaimed "did you see that tornado!? that was the coolest thing I have ever seen!" she said with a shiver "I'm going to get us some towels" she lit her horn and several towels floated in from the bathroom "now, let's get you out of your clothes before you give yourself a cold" she said tugging at my shirt
"Hey, uhh humans do not like to not wear clothes in front of strangers," I said sheepishly, Bree just looked at me and smiled
"uh, we are not strangers to each other." she said in a slightly hurt tone "we are friends so does that count?" she asked
"um, ya know h'what? fuck it" I shouted quickly getting undressed, Bree giggled as I folded my wet clothes and set them on the nearby desk. I turned to look at Bree and she glanced down at my crotch for a millisecond before shrugging
"Well I don't see anything wrong with this" she said levitating my wet clothes into the bathroom sink. I looked at her before sighing 'well I guess she is right I don't see anything wrong with this' I thought laying down on the bed and relaxing. It felt kind of nice to just be naked for once even if there was someone here, I looked up to see Bree drying herself off and an idea popped into my head
"Hey Bree?" I said standing up, being naked was certainly a change but not a welcomed one
"yea?" she turned to look at me
"could you order a pizza? you could count this as payment for that $50 I gave you" I said smiling, Bree smiled and levitated the phone and phone book over to her before ordering a large pizza, half with hay and the other half with pepperoni and green peppers. She hung up the phone and walked over to the bed and jumping on, I looked at her and smiled while flipping through the channels until I found American Pickers. Running my hand through Bree's mane while I watched the TV kept her happy until the pizza arrived. Once the pizza came we both quickly scarfed it down before Bree fell asleep, once she was asleep I grabbed my phone and started texting my friends.
"What's up guys, y'all doing good?" I quickly typed out before hitting send. Almost instantly the group chat exploded with different porn links and porn pictures. After a minute we started talking,
"So how is it down in Oklahoma, bitch?" My friend Tony texted back
"Probably jerking off." Nate said, chuckling I said to them " please never change" before sending a picture of our hotel room to them, not knowing that Brees flank was visible. After a minute of silence in the group chat my friend Nate texted something
"Looks like Austin got himself a pony GF Lmao" Nate texted, then the group chat exploded into everyone making fun of me. Tired of there shit I turned my phone off and slid out of bed then put on my clothes and grabbing my car keys. Driving down the road I pulled into a Walmart parking lot and went inside. Looking around I found a cheap medical kit and grabbed it, after that I wandered down the gun aisle
"How can I help you, sir?" The stallion behind the counter asked, looking at him I reached into my pocket and pulled out a .44 magnum round and set it down on the counter
"Got any of these in stock?" I asked he picked up the bullet in his hoof and looked it over before reaching under the counter and pulling out a box of them. Paying for the box of bullets and the medkit I left Walmart and walked back out to my car, opening the glovebox I moved some papers around and pulled out my 5 inch Smith and Wesson 629 .44 magnum and opened the box of bullets. Once I reloaded my gun I put it back and covered it with an Ohio map, looking around I started the car and drove back to the hotel. walking through the hotel doors I waved at the receptionist and walked to the room, sliding the card across I slowly opened the door and shut it behind me. Looking at the bed I saw that Bree was still asleep so I stripped down and crawled into bed, soon after I fell asleep.

also I know there is going to be that one person that point's out all the flaw's. to them I say thank you for your help but it's a STORY, it's not going to be accurate and I type them for fun.
I woke up with Bree's head on my chest sound asleep, sighing I gently moved her head off and slipped off the bed to the bathroom. After some bathroom business I returned to the main room and got dressed in my spare clothes before cleaning up the pizza boxes from the room. Once happy I walked up to Bree and gently shook her until she woke up,
"w-what time is it?" she asked stifling a yawn, she twisted around and looked at me with a smile "we going out again?" she asked
"uh, yea. but first you need to get yourself cleaned up because we are going out to eat for breakfast" I said with a smile. The one thing I caught from my grandparents before they passed was that they always loved to go out to eat, and it just kind of carried over to me. Bree slid off the bed and walked into the bathroom while I put on deodorant and body spray, I had no plans of chasing that day so I never checked my maps or the radar's for storm activity.
"hey, you all done?" I called out buttoning up my flannel shirt and tying my steel toe boots, Bree emerged from the bathroom a brush stuck in her tail and a sheepish look on her face
"Can I get some help?" she asked looking down at the floor, smiling I knelt down and gently pulled the brush from her tail and started brushing the knot's out "w-Woah, have you done this before?" she asked in almost a purr.
"Nah, for a while I wanted to go into cosmetology and practiced on my mom, but after a while I found out that it wasn't for me. She taught me how to easily get knots out of hair and that just kinda stuck with me" I replied setting the brush off to the side "all done" I said standing up. After some faffing around we eventually headed out to a restaurant called El Charro Mexican food restaurant. While we drove I noticed that a supercell was forming to our east, the direction we where heading, shrugging I opted not to go after it and spend some time with Bree. "you know that my Grandparents parents crossed the Mexican border during world war 2?" I said looking at Bree.
"Wow, so your not too far down the line than" she replied looking out the window, nodding I pulled into the restaurant and parked up
" you ready?" I asked unbuckling my seat belt and shutting the car off
"yup" Bree said undoing her buckle with her magic. We both walked in and were seated by the waiter, Bree looked at me and smiled "so, every season you come down here from Ohio?" she asked,
"well yes, but actually no. this is the first time I have gone alone, I use to go with my stepdad but he got a disease called MS, now he cannot walk let alone drive." I said, the waiter brought us some corn chips and salsa before asking us what we wanted to eat "I will have two flour fried burritos and a Dr.Pepper please" I said. The waiter wrote my order down and looked to Bree
"I will have the vegetarian bean burrito and a water please," she asked, the waiter nodded and wrote down her order before taking the menus and walking to the kitchen. I looked at Bree and smiled "you have Hispanic food in Equestria?" I asked Bree shook her head
"no, it looks and sounds tasty though!" she said picking up a chip and dipping it in the salsa "wow, this is a bit spicy" she said, just then the waiter brought our drinks and both my and the waiter's phones started beeping and buzzing. pulling out my phone I saw a Weather emergency warning that read "Tornado warning for your area. The following towns will be affected, Canton" I looked at the waiter and he ran into the back yelling something in Spanish. Standing I picked up Bree and ran out to the car "what's going on? Austin, I'm scared" she said looking around as the townspeople of Canton ran about to take shelter as the tornado siren's blared.
"calm down, you will be alright," I said jumping in the car with Bree still on my lap, I started the car and floored it to the outside of town. We got to the outside of town going 120 mph when we hit dirt roads, that caused me to swerve a bit but continued on
"Austin! please, I think we are far enough away" Bree said shifting on my lap to look at me. I slowed down and eventually stopped while I looked into Bree's eyes
"I'm sorry Bree I just don't want you to get hurt," I said pulling her into a hug, she cautiously returned the hug until the wind picked up severely. When I looked out the window my eyes widened and I flung Bree into her seat and did her seat belt,
"HOLD ON!" I yelled pulling the E-brake and putting the car in park,
"what's happening?" Bree asked a noticeable shake in her voice, the wind got so bad that is was rocking the car around and after a few seconds the car flew three feet into the air before landing in the ditch and wedging itself there. The windows shattered and sharp glass, rocks and random derbies started flying through the car. The deafening roar of the tornado rang through the car, but all of a sudden it stopped. Looking over at Bree I saw that she was using a magical barrier around me, I quickly reached over and flicked her horn
"CAST IT ON YOURSELF! FORGET ABOUT ME I WILL BE FINE" I yelled over the deafening roar, Bree frowned and lit her horn again before she was encased in her barrier. Rock's and pebbles pelted me feeling like someone was pelting me with buckshot at a distance. A pebble flew in and hit me in the head drawing blood, I screamed in pain as more rocks pelted me and after a few more seconds it stopped. The roar faded and the wind calmed down as the tornado kept moving on its path, letting out a sigh I undid my seat belt and forced the door open. Bree got out of the car shaking heavily, she looked over at me and quickly ran over forcing me to the ground and screaming something about my leg. Looking down I saw that my pants where blood-soaked and my shirt was all cut up and also soaked in blood.
"Bree?" I said looking over at her, she almost instantly ran over to my side and lifted my head up
"what? what is it Austin? DO NOT GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT!" she said shaking me, quickly I grabbed her head and crashed my lips agents her's. She squeaked in surprise but quickly returned the gesture, we sat there for a few minutes until we broke the kiss
"Help me up," I said turning away from her and attempting to stand on my own
"What? NO! you need to stay there until I get help" she said trying and failing to make me sit down. When I stood I felt dizzy at first but shrugged it off, turning I looked at the car to find all the windows were blown out and several dents across the side. sighing I pulled out my phone and called a tow truck before turning to Bree
"so, you feeling alright?
Sometime later the tow truck pulled my car out of the ditch and dropped us off at the hotel before taking my car to the nearest repair shop. I limped into the hotel and to the room with Bree at my side, I limped to the bathroom and jumped into the shower to wash off the blood and dirt. Bree sat on the toilet waiting for me to get done, I stepped out of the shower and walked over to Bree "how are you holding up?" I asked rubbing her mane, she turned and looked at me with teary eyes
"why? why didn't you let me cast the spell on you? I would have been fine. Now look at you, your hurt bad" she said running a hoof down my chest and looking at the many cuts and bruises I had, in turn, I let out a hardy laugh
"wow, you think this is a bad injury? you should have seen the time my brother ran over my foot with his car, or the time I got a knife through my hand! I have had much worse than a few little cuts I will be fine" I said. In truth I had sustained much more than that, but that was the past. I retracted my hand and grabbed the comb from the sink and put up my hair, looking in the mirror I sighed "Tomorrow is another day" I said before brushing my teeth and leaving the bathroom and going to bed.
I woke up feeling stiff and sore, groaning I sat up and slid out of bed. While I was stretching I heard Bree call out from behind me "what's got you up so early?" she asked. I turned around and smiled at her before sitting on the end of the bed
"well, first of all, I'm going to go get breakfast, second of all I need a rental car to go and chase with until I get my car back" I said as if it was obvious. Bree jumped out of bed and stared daggers at me
"What! we almost died yesterday and you want to go back out there!" she yelled, I just looked at her with a straight face and said
"Well, yea. what else am I suppose to do? go home?" I looked over at her and smiled "This is not the first time that has happened, hell just last year while I was chasing a satellite tornado came and flipped my car several times" I said in a chipper tone. Standing I pulled on a pair of jeans and strapped on my steel toe boots before heading for the door "well, you coming or not?" I asked from the door. Bree shook her head several times and jumped to her hoofs to follow me. Smiling, me and Bree both made our way to the hotel's breakfast bar to start the day
