Fluttershy's Christmas Present
It was a snowy night in Ponyville. Christmas Eve in fact. All the ponies were getting ready for the Christmas party they were throwing at Sweet Apple Acres. Twilight was putting up the decorations with her magic, Rarity was putting the finishing touches on her new Christmas dresses, Rainbow was already busy in the clouds with the snow and all, Applejack was making the food, Pinkie Pie was making some home-made ornaments, and Fluttershy was helping the animals get ready for hibernation. Big Macintosh, well... Big Mac was planning something of his own. A Christmas present for a certain yellow pegasus with pink hair, Fluttershy. Big Mac was madly in love with her after all, and he wanted to tell her tonight. No more secrets! Tonight was the night he was going to tell her his true fellings.
Big Macintosh wanted this to be very specail. He wanted everything to be just right. But, he didn't know how to do it. Should he just flat out tell her or make it into something big? He wasn't to slick around the mares. Big Mac was a very handsome stallion and all, but he just didn't know what to say when he was around women. Especially around Fluttershy. She was just so pretty and kind. When he tried to talk to her, he would just blush and stand there. He thought he might ask his sister for some advice.
"Well howdy Big Mac. What's botherin' ya?" Applejack asked making apple pies.
"Well, ya see sis, ya know ah love Fluttershy and all, but..."
"But you don't know how to tell her do you?"
"Eeyup."
"Well... come to think of it, Fluttershy has never been kissed before."
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"Don't you see? If you kiss her, she'll know yall love her."
"Of course! That's it! Thank ya sis!"
Big Macintosh ran out the door to try to find Fluttershy. He found her gathering food for a skunk family. "Eat up little skunkies. You don't wanna get hungery during hibernation do you?" Fluttershy asked the skunk family. They scampered off with the basket of food. Fluttershy waved to them goodbye sad to see her little friends leave. "Umm... H- howdy Miss Fluttershy." Big Macintosh said shyly.
"Oh hello Big Macintosh. What are you doing out here? Aren't you helping Applejack with the food?"
"Well... umm... ya see... ah... ah... ah wanted to tell yall something."
"What?"
Big Macintosh stood there blushing like crazy.
"Are... are you ok?"
"Ah'm fine... Ah just... wanted to give yall a Christmas present."
"Oh really what is it?"
Big Macintosh motioned his lips to tell Fluttershy his secert when a big pile of snow fell on his head. Fluttershy giggled.
"Oh Big Macintosh, that was so funny."
"Heh heh... yeah... it was wasn't it?"
"So, what were you going to say?"
"Guys! Come in! Applejack made hot choclate!" Twilight shouted from the door.
"Oh... well I guess we better go in. If thats ok with you Big Mac."
"Yeah, ah could go fer some hot choclate."
The pony gang gathered around the fire drinking their hot choclate. Fluttershy sat next to Big Macintosh. Snuggling next to him for warmth. Big Mac blushed as she did.
"Fluttershy, ah have to tell yall something."
"Yes Big Mac?" Fluttershy stared at Big Mac with twinkling eyes.
"Ah... ah have had... the biggest..." Just then, Applebloom climbed on her brother's back with mistletoe in her mouth.
Fluttershy was blushing and so was Big Mac. And then out of no where, he did it. He kissed her. Fluttershy just got her first kiss. And, she enjoyed it.
Big Macintosh leaned into Fluttershy's ear and whispered, "Merry Christmas, my love."
