Based on the art work and stories of NCmares, most specifically the Night Mares series. (This one-shot has no direct canonical relation to NCMares' story, but rather is loosely influenced by its lore. The fic was originally submitted for B_25's "Art and Stories and Inspirations," an anthology of short fics dedicated to the art and literature of the supremely talented NCmares.)
