Demise of the King

Another morning breaks, me and twilight are spooned together in the bed. While we sleep somepony spies on us through the window. That pony just happens to be rainbow dash. She sees me wrapped up against twilight, the problem is she has no idea who in the hoof I am. Her suspicion is off the charts. After about 30 minutes of seeing us just sleep she finally leaves, but now she’s keeping an eye on twilight and me. Eventually we both wake up, but just lay in bed and talk about how much we love one another and other sweet stuff. We finally get out of bed, have some breakfast together, and then finally get ready to leave. “I think it’s time my love, are you ready?” she asked me, just a little nervous. “Of course baby you’ll be by my side the whole time, there’s nothing to be afraid of” I smiled to reassure her. “Alright well here we go” she opens the door and we both step out into the world.

The sun is blinding, it hurts my eyes but after a few minutes they adjust. “So where are we going dear” “Well first we are going to stop in town and grab a few things and then we are going to pinkie pies party later tonight” she replied as she looked over her checklist of items. “Oh well that sounds like fun” I smiled. She put the list in her saddle bag and smiled back at me. We made our way into town and stopped by the store and picked up everything on the list. It was just little things, tape, extra parchments, things of that nature. After that we left and headed towards the jewellery store. “Baby wait out here for me while I go inside real quick” “sure thing dear” I said as I sat down and she walked inside.

I was then approached by rainbow dash who had a very suspicious look about her. “Oh hello there” I said politely. She looks me up and down before asking “who are you?” “I am…..i am…..well to be honest I’m not quite sure who I am.” This thought hadn’t crossed my mind before. “So you don’t know who you are?” she started to question me. “No I don’t, I don’t know who I am” I looked down at the ground puzzled and sad. “Ok well how about, where did you come from?” she continued to interrogate me “ponyville, I think. To be honest the only thing I can remember is that I woke up at twilights house one morning and that I love her more than anything.” I wish I had more to offer. She inspects my hide and when she looks closely she finds all the cuts from the blade. “How did you get these?” “Get what?” I asked back not knowing what she is talking about. “These cuts, it looks like you got beat up pretty bad” she had a painful look on her face. “I have cuts on me? Oh my that’s not good at all I hope they aren’t too serious.” I became concerned. She stops and looks at me with disbelief. “None of this adds up” she says to herself.

Finally twilight exits the store and walks over to see me and rainbow dash talking. “Hello there rainbow dash, what are you doing here?” “I was just talking to this stallion here, what’s wrong with him?” dash asked concerned. “Nothing at all, he’s my little cutesy wutesy sweetie pie, isn’t that right dear?” she looks over at me “hehe of course dear” I reply blushing. “I’m sorry twi but I have to go” dash interrupts as she flies away. She goes back to her home in Cloudsdale and ponders. Her wall is covered in pictures and information; she’s trying to figure things out. “So the king goes missing, the royal guard comes looking for him and finds nothing. I find twilight with this odd alicorn I’ve never seen before. He said he doesn’t remember anything except waking up in twilight’s house one day and that he is totally head over hooves in love with her. But I’ve never seen him before or have heard anything about him. For his look he acts way too kind and doesn’t seem to fit his appearance at all. And then there’s twilight running around with a dress and shopping at the jewellery store. I think I am on to something but there’s still some missing pieces to this puzzle. I need to ask the others if they have noticed anything.” She tries to find an explanation. The front door opens then shuts “babe I’m home” a voice calls from downstairs. “Ok baby, I’m up in my room” dash said back to the voice. After a few minutes a stallion enters the room, its Black Soul Shadow dashes stallion. “Hey baby whatcha doing?” he asks her “nothing, just trying to figure something out”. “Oh alright, well hey I’m gona go ahead and get ready for pinkies party” he starts to look through the closet. “Alright babe, hey come here for a sec” he trots over to her “yeah baby?” she grabs him and they start to make out for a few minutes. “I love you babe” she smiles at him “awwwww I love you too baby” he replied. They both walk over to the closet and start getting ready for the party.
