After being repaired and reactivated in the year 2180, Leila finds herself alone in the world aside from the last creation of her friend, Twilight Sparkle. Midnight Sparkle tells her about what happened and how the Third Generation Reploid's friends lived a full and happy life.

Unhappy about parting in such a way, Leila finds a way to the land of Equestria where she meets Princess Twilight Sparkle who gives her an opportunity. Because she's inorganic, the spell will only work once in her existence, but it will allow her to see her friends one last time for 12 hours. The Maverick Hunter, knowing that seeing them one more time would be better than never seeing them again, takes the chance and is thrown back in time to the year 2020.
