The Chrysalis of passion
Chapter 1: The first arrival: Introductions and invasions
Previous ChapterThe white Alicorn looked stunned, as if she had no idea what I was talking about. "What are you talking about, I don't have a name-tag o-" She looked down and saw the name-tag. "Faust dammit, Luna! He could've been a major threat!" I just now noticed it, but The dark blue Alicorn, I'm assuming her name is Luna, was laughing her FLANK off! As soon as the larger one said something, all of the military disappeared suddenly, causing me to flare my wings out defensively.
"Okay, I may not know anything about where I am," I started, looking into both of their eyes. "but I sure as hell know that guards don't just suddenly... disappear!" I said, feeling a bit frustrated for the deception. "So, can either of you ladies tell me WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?"
"Wow," Luna started, "Tis been a long time since we have heard the royal canterlot voice used by somepony other than us."
'These mares are a royal pain in the flank. I wonder when the princess' are supposed to arrive...'
"Well, either way, my sister and I wish to ask you a few questions." The white one said, returning to her stoic, expressionless mood. "First of all, I would like to know your name, and where you're from." she asked, leaning in ever so slightly, as if she NEEDED the answer to this question.
"Well, let's see... I don't know where I'm from, where I am CURRENTLY, or what my name is." I said, earning a frown from both mares. "And I would also like to know who the fuck you two are."
"Hey!" one of the guards yelled, whom I didn't notice a few seconds ago. "Do not address the Princess' like that, whelp!"
"What the fuck did you just call me?" I said, assuming a fighting stance and charging my horn. My wings were already flared out, so I didn't need to get those out. But, apparently, these guys had a plan for a powerful foe, because as soon as my horn was charged, I got shot in the back of the neck with a paralyzing spell. Naturally, being an Alicorn and all, normal magic did not affect me, so when I actually couldn't move, I started to get VERY ANGRY.
"Now now, my little ponies," The white princess said. "There's no reason to fight, me and my sister just haven't introduced ourselves, yet."
"But, princess," The guard in front of me said, "Why did you paralyze him, then?"
'So it was the white one...'
"I did that so we wouldn't hve any guard casualties, commander." the white one said before returning her attention to me. "Now then, if I unfreeze you, do I have your word that you'll cooperate and NOT try to harm my guards?"
'I should really learn her name...' "There's no need for that, I already broke the spell." I said, turning to face her, only to find out that she was very surprised at the fact that I broke it. "Did I do something wrong, Miss..."
"Just call me Celestia." She said, still shocked. "And what is wrong is the fact that I created that spell YESTERDAY, so nopony, not even the captain of the guard, knows how to break or cast it. So, how exactly did you do that?"
"Err... skill? I don't know," I said, rubbing the spot where the spell landed on my neck, "But that kinda hurt. You got any painkillers?"
Luna just stared at me blankly as Celestia told the pony standing next to her to go get something. "WHY HAST THOU ARRIVED HERE, FELLOW ALICORN?"
I got fed up with her constant shouting, so I decided to start doing the same thing. "I DON'T KNOW!" I screamed at the top of my lunges. "MY TRAIN NEEDED GAS SO IT COULD TAKE ME TO OTHER PLACES. I LIKE TO SHOUT TOO, BY THE WAY!!"
"Wow," Celestia said, "I haven't heard somepony issue a royal canterlot challenge in a very long time." She looked at Luna, then at me, and said, "Sister, you remember those, right? I can't seem to recall the rules."
"Why yes, dear sister," Luna said, a smug grin adorning her muzzle, "I know the challenge that thou speakest of. Do you, sir?"
"Okay," I started, "First of all, no i do not. And second, we need to figure out my name. Your name is Celestia, regarding the celestial body on your flank, am I correct?" I paused before earning a nod from the princess, "And you're Luna, named for the crescent moon on your flank, correct?"
"Hast thou been... staring at our flanks?" Luna said playfully, smiling when I started to blush immensely.
"Well, I, uhh... I was just trying to see your cutie mark is all, and... umm..." I started to get sweaty due to the situation i was stuck in. "That's the only reason that I was looking. Anyway, back to the matter at hoof." I said, eager to change the subject. "MY cutie mark is both a sun AND a moon. And the time between day and night is known as Twilight, so I was thinking that my name should be Twili-"
"Already taken, sir." Celestia said, trying, and failing, to suppress a giggle. "It is taken by my student, Twilight Sparkle. Was that your only idea, or do you have more?"
"Oh, I have plenty more. let's see..." After that, i basically went down the list of names that i thought of, until we finally decided on one.
"Alright, so I believe that isn't taken. But I caution you," Celestia said, pointing her hoof at me. "That name has a history that was long ago forgotten, and if you stir up as much trouble as the last pony who was named that did, then the only place for you would be deep within the sorrel hells."
"Got it. Cursed name, if I start being bad, I end up in hell for thousands of tormenting years of punishment." I said, pretty much summing up what she just explained to me. "So, care to tell me a bit about your country?"
"Gladly, Eos."

THAT NIGHT, OTHER THINGS HAPPENED.

I got to my room in what I assumed was the guest quarters, when things started to get a bi colder as I walked towards the bathroom. I only realized just how cold it had gotten when i started to see frost covering the walls, as well as the floor and ceiling. The one thing that I didn't notice, however, was how much darker it was getting. I had a strange feeling in my gut telling me to charge up my magic. "Who's there?" I asked into the shadows, charging my horn with divine energy. "Come out now, and I may let you leave unharmed."
"Now now, Eos, Is that any way to treat thy princess of the night?" an indistinguishable voice cooed from the shadows, "You know, back in my day the punishment for that was a beheading."
"Oh, it's just you, Luna." I said, deactivating my magic. "I didn't know who it was. Could you maybe turn the heat up in here? It's kinda chilly."
"Well well well," She said, stepping out of the shadows. "I knew that you were brave, but I didn't take it for stupidity."
I just stared at her, narrowing my eyes, "You wanna run that y me again, Princess?" i basically spat that last word out, putting as much anger into it as I could. "I want to make sure I heard you right."
After I said this, she fully emerged from the shadows, revealing something that was definitely NOT Luna. Her fur radiated dark and cold energy, and her ethereal mane was flowing strangely, as if it was a living entity. She had dark blue armor on, as well as an increased height and horn length. I scanned her with my magic, and figured out that it was just a simple five sense glamor spell. "And why would I need to repeat myself? I already said it once. Or are you too stupid to understand what I sa-"
She didn't get to finish that sentence.
My magic was giving me control of her lungs, and i was squeezing them. HARD. "Don't you ever, EVER, insult me again." My eyes were glowing with dark energy, and we both started to lift off of the ground, "And if you do, I will make sure hat you suffer my rage. Now, GET OUT."
The room exploded, as a result of me shooting her in a random direction through the wall with as much magic that was immediately available to me. I landed on the ground, only now realizing that i was floating. I could already hear rapid hoofsteps coming down the hall, so I started to charge the teleportation spell to take me to the gardens.
It all stopped. The hoofsteps down the hall, my own magic, all of it, just stopped. There was a faint blue aura around everything in the room, and a spectral pony stepped out of the wall. "Do not be afraid, Alicorn. I am here to send you a message." The pony was an Alicorn, just like I am, but something seemed... off about him. Besides the fact that I could see through him, I mean. "You are to let these guards capture you. When they get you to the dungeon, the Princess will wish to speak with you. You need to tell her this phrase: 'Th-"
"Hold on," I said, interrupting him, "You want me, a god-like immortal being, to get captured by ponies that I could literally kill in my sleep?"
"Do not interrupt me, young one, I am far more powerful than you will ever be, so be wary what you say." The spectral pony said, taking a step towards me, "You must tell her: 'The twilight hour is upon us; the time of the dragon is near.'"
I stared at him blankly, hoping for an explanation. When I didn't get one, I started to question him: "Who are you? Why is everything blue? What does that code mean? Why isn't your mane flowing like mine?"
After that last question, he dissapeared, as well as the blue light, making time resume and the guards come and arrest me.
