A few years passed after the coronation of Twilight as the new ruler of Equestria, along with her friends. All 6 mane changed a little. Twilight now had more responsibilities as a governing princess than before when she was just the princess of friendship, she had also married Flash Sentry.
Rarity was now a famous designer, as she had always dreamed of, Yona and Sandbar were the newest partners in her boutique, she had also married Fancy Pants.
Pinkie Pie had married Cheese Sandwich, and she also had a daughter with him, Li'l Cheese.
Applejack and Fluttershy continued their same lives, the only difference being that they were now married to Caramel and Discord.
Rainbow Dash on the other hand has also changed lives. She was now the captain of the Wonderbolts. Spitfire had promoted her a few years ago to be the new captain. But that doesn't mean Spitfire had retired, she just passed her old position on to Rainbow Dash because she thought she was finally ready to take over.
Rainbow Dash had not only been promoted, but she was now also married to Soarin, the team's second command.
Her life had only improved in a while, and there was nothing she could complain about.
"Fleetfoot introducing herself, ma'am!" Fleetfoot said as she approached Dash. Rainbow Dash just rolled her eyes.
"Fleetfoot has been through this before, I'm just the old Rainbow Dash from before ... But now only in a new position" Dash said, Fleetfoot nodded as she flew to meet with her other teammates.
"Our captain is very nice" A baby blue stallion said from behind the cyan mare. Dash smiled and leaned over and kissed Soarin on the cheek.
"Our co-captain is not bad either" Dash said smiling
"So do you have plans for tonight, or are you busy with captain duties" Soarin said
"Today I don't have anything scheduled to do, but I was thinking about going home and relaxing. We haven't done this in a long time"
"That sounds great to me"

Rainbow Dash and Soarin were sitting on the couch relaxing and snuggling together after a long day at work. Rainbow hardly had time to relax as in the old days, since becoming the Wonderbolts's captain.
"Oh Celestia, I really needed this" Dash said
"Me too, we've really been training a lot these past few years ... We're hardly having time for ourselves" Soarin said looking at Dash. Dash looked at him and kissed his cheek.
"There will always be extra time for both of us Soar, you are much more important to me than work" Soarin smiled and hugged his wife. Soon after he kissed her forehead and placed a wing on her back.
"I love you Dashie, I don't know what my life would be like without you"
"I love you too Soar" Dash then leaned over and kissed Soarin softly on the lips.
"Oh crap! I almost forgot completely, I had promised Scootaloo that I would help her with her bionic wings" Dash said
"Bionic wings?"
"Yes, as her wings never grew, she would never be able to fly alone without it"
"Oh right"

"Thank you so much for helping me Rainbow Dash, I can't wait to try these wings" Scootaloo said
"No problem Scoots" Dash said
"I am so happy that you took the time to help me, you are busy with your work now"
"Scootaloo my family and my friends are much more important to me than work, despite being the job I have always dreamed of my whole life"
Suddenly three foals ran up to the two pegasus.
"Hello Scootaloo!" The foals were Li'l Cheese, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich's Daughter, Apple Flower, Cheerilee and Big Macintosh's Daughter, and Big Sugar, Big Macintosh and Sugar Belle's Son, who by the way was no longer married. They had divorced a few years ago because they were no longer getting along. So Big Macintosh fell in love with Cheerilee and married her after that.
"Hello kids, how are you looking for your cutie marks?" Scootaloo said
"We haven't made it yet ... And we think we'll never make it" Li'l Cheese said
"Don't worry about it, when my friends and I were your age, we thought the same thing. But this is just a phase, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and I will help you with that" Scootaloo said
"Thank you very much Scootaloo!" Big Sugar said as he the other foals ran away.
Rainbow Dash was in awe of the foals. Lately she was wondering if Soarin would ever want foals.

That same afternoon Rainbow Dash had been asked to go to Canterlot for a book club with her friends just like old times. There were Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight and Spike.
"It was a long time since we had our last book club!" Pinkie Pie said
"I love to read a good book now and then" Rarity said
"Yes I had forgotten as a book club, it can be really cool!" Rainbow Dash said
"So you have a lot of responsibilities, Twilight?" Applejack asked
"Yes I will not lie, it is very difficult to be the governing princess. But I am getting the hang of it little by little" Twilight said
"This is very good" Fluttershy said
"But lately we've all been a little bit apart ... So it's not the same as it was before" Spike said
"Even though we are very busy with our new responsibilities, there will always be a lot for us at some point. We are eternal friends, and nothing can change that" Twilight said, Then everyone got together for a group hug.

That same night Rainbow Dash had come home, and all she wanted to do was relax in the company of her husband.
"How was your day Soarin?"
"Was great and yours?"
"It was also, it was a long time since my friends and I didn't meet to read a good book" Dash said with a giggle at the end. Soarin smiled as he kissed his mare on the cheek.
"I'm very happy that you had fun Dash"
"Thank you, now that nothing else is scheduled for today, we can enjoy this night just you and me"
"I would appreciate it"
Rainbow Dash then pulled Soarin for a long, soft kiss on the lips. They continued to deepen as they moaned through their mouths.
"I love you Soar"
"I love you too, Dashie"
And then the two pegasus ended the night just in each other's loving company.
The life of mane 6 may have changed a lot in the past. but still they were more united than ever.
