Episode 1: The New Human in United Equestria
Mykan's POV
Hi I'm Mykan Steven, a 19 year old, peach-colored human with short, brown hair. I am a axillary member of Starfleet, the most powerful fighting force in the Dimensional Universe. I live on United Equestria along with my friends; , Lightning Dawn, a white alicorn with a brown mane and tail with a golden horn and Supreme Allied Commander of Starfleet was with his wife, General Starla Shine, a white alicorn with a purple mane and tail, like Rarity and an expert of astronomy. The two were with their friends at the Cake's Cafe on a cloudy afternoon.
Lieutenant Colonel Fluttershy-- a yellow pegasus with a pink mane and tail with three butterflies as her cutie mark.
Lieutenant Colonel Rainbow Dash-- a light blue pegasus with a rainbow colored mane and tail with a cloud shooting a rainbow-colored lightning bolt from it as her cutie mark.
Lieutenant Colonel Rarity-- fashionista, a similar look at Starla but her mane and tail were curly and Spike's wife.
Lieutenant Colonel Applejack-- an orange Earth Pony with a blonde mane and tail tied at the ends with a Stetson hat and three red apples as her cutie mark.
Lieutenant Colonel Pinkie Pie-- New Ponyvilles' party pony and a pink Earth Pony with a puffy, pink mane and tail, like cotton candy. And Finally, Spike aka, the Dragon Knight and Rarity's husband.
First Class Colonel Buddy Rose-- a red alicorn and a very fine gardener in his normal life, as well as a great botanist, tree surgeon and ecologist. He lived on New Sweet Apple Acres in his own house and worked as hired help for Applejack and her family. His code: FT5H
First Class Colonel Artie Bristles-- an orange alicorn whom outside of the battle field was a fine artist, painter, and sculptor. His Code: HV7J
First Class Colonel Rhymey-- A yellow alicorn who spoke in rhyme. When not in battle, he loved writing poetry, singing songs, and managing his café and poetry society "Rhyme Time", but most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his wife, Fluttershy. His number even rhymed with the end of his name-- XL7Z
And the Spanish twins: First Class Colonel Dyno and Myte LA Guava: Expert mining engineers, explosive experts, geologists, and construction workers from the planet El Mundo, who had a fine knowledge of explosives and work tools. Codes: IW8K and JX9L.
"Hey Lightning, Hey Starla." Rainbow greeted.
"Hi Rainbow." Starla greeted back.
"So anything come up yet?" Pinkie asked.
Lightning sighed and shook his head, "No there's been no sightings of this mysterious creature so far. All we know is that they were last scene heading this way." Apparently, there have been some recent sightings of a new creature around the universe, but its very elusive and sneaky. So far, no one has been harmed by the new creature but you can't be too careful when it comes to something new.
Frankly, I was curious about this new creature, maybe it could help me with my research?
"Oooh." Fluttershy shivered. "I hope they're not dangerous."
"We don't know if it is dangerous or not. All we can do is wait for them to show up." Starla stated.
"What have their majesties say about it?" Artie asked Lightning.
"All they said is that if you see the creature approach it with caution and if it attacks, arrest it." Lightning explained.
"So.…what do we do until then?" Rainbow asked.
"Wait I guess…" Lightning stated. Everyone agreed with Lightning and decided it was best to wait for this new creature to appear.
Now it was nighttime and I was in my robe, getting ready to go to bed after reading a book on United Equestria creatures. I lived in New Canterlot near the royal palace and taught at New Ponyville Elementary, teaching ponies about my world and in exchange I learn about their world.
Still… I wish I knew what this new creature was…
Rustle…
Huh? What was that? I looked around my house when I heard the rustling sound again. I carefully got up and grabbed my Sword of Pure Soul and my Shield of Righteousness.
(Imagine this. Skip to 3:00)
I unlocked the door and looked around only to see something disappear behind a corner. I quickly walked after it and followed it into a field. The figure stopped and laid down in the grass. I couldn't see very well but I could see that it was peach colored like me, but that's all.
Suddenly the figure began… cooing? "What the-?" I slowly walked through the grass towards the creature when it suddenly turned and faced me! "Woah!" I exclaimed. Now I could clearly see the creature. It was… a human… like me! But she was on all fours? Her skin was peach colored and she had blonde hair with a rainbow stripe in the center of it. I saw that she had a tail that was the same colors as her hair. Not only that, she had wings too; pegasus wings like the girls and a peach colored horn.
So this must be that mysterious figure….!
The creature hissed at me, acting aggressively. "Easy girl…" I cooed at her, trying to calm her down while I carefully and slowly approached her. The creature sniffed the air, catching my scent and she made chittering noises, like a Velociraptor. I managed to get within a few feet of her and I looked straight into her eyes and she looked directly into mine…
I don't know how or why.. But I felt… connected to her.
Then she narrowed her eyes and snarled before she unleashed a blast from her mouth; a plasma blast! Woah…! So.. She can fire a plasma blast like a Night fury and Light Fury from How to Train Your Dragon?! Cool…but who'd she fire at?
"Mykan.. Back away from her!" Oh… now I know why?
I saw Lightning and the others approaching me with their weapons drawn, ready to attack. "Guys, easy…" I told them while the creature hissed at them with her wings spread, as a warning. "Mykan, back away from her. She attacked us!" Rainbow exclaimed, hovering above Spike and Fluttershy.
"Cause she's scared…" I stated.
"Scared?" Rarity questioned.
"Look at her.." I pointed over to the creature and they could see the creature was hissing but at the same time frozen in fear. Fluttershy was the first one to try and walk up to her but she hissed at her. "It's okay… we won't hurt you.." she said to her but the creature didn't believe her and snarled at her.
"Alright then… my turn." I thought to myself. "Hey girl…" the creature turned to me and dropped the snarl. "It's alright, they're my friends…" The creature cooed at me and started to lose her aggressive posture. "That's it…" The creature started to walk towards me and I held out my hand to her. The creature sniffed my hand and nuzzled it. "Good girl…" I cooed at her and she warbled at me.
"Okay… so… what do we do now?" Rainbow asked.
"Now… we take her to the palace." Lightning stated.
That very next morning, we were all in New Canterlot Palace and entered the throne room where we saw two royal alicorns. The female wore a light golden gown with a white top showing her cutie mark of the sun.
The male was a tall, white male alicorn with a short dark mane with images of space flowing like a picture. He wore jewel-encrusted golden armor with doublets on each side into it, a red cape with gold markings fluttering on his back, even though there was no breeze. He had golden pegasus wings, black boots with golden edges round the feet. Atop his head were three golden horns, all shimmering like the stars.
They were Queen Celestia and Grand Ruler Celestio, the rulers of United Equestria and Co-Commander and Commander of Starfleet. The creature stayed close to me, still a little tense, "So this is the creature?" Grand Ruler asked.
"Yes Master." Lightning replied to him. "Mykan discovered it last night."
"It seems nice enough but I don't think it trusts us." Starla added, looking at the creature who softly snarled at her.
"It seems to only trust Mykan for some reason." Fluttershy added. Their majesties could see the creature seemed pretty attached to me and appeared to be calmer around me.
"Does this creature have a name at all?" Queen Celestia asked.
The group looked at each other, but to our amazement, the creature answered by saying, "Name… Sapphire…"
"Sapphire is your name?" Grand Ruler echoed. Sapphire nodded. Sapphire… hm…not a bad name.
"Sapphire… made.. For.. Bad. Sapphire.. Wanna… be… good." Sapphire added slowly.
"Made for bad?" Rainbow questioned. "What does that mean?"
"Sapphire… meant… for… weapon… Sapphire… want good." Sapphire replied. Meant for weapon? So… she was created to be a weapon?!
"So you were made to be a weapon, Sapphire?" Queen Celestia asked. Sapphire nodded and cuddled against me, "Sapphire… good… Sapphire.. Good." Sapphire whimpered. I gently rubbed her head and she cooed.
"Oh… you poor thing.." Fluttershy cooed.
"She wants a purpose that is new
That is whats' clear and true." Rhymey added with a sad smile. Their majesties looked at each other and nodded.
"Sapphire.." Sapphire looked at Grand Ruler. "You'll stay with Mykan while we help you into our society.. Okay?"
Sapphire blinked at him, "Sapphire.. Be.. Good?"
"Yes, Sapphire.. We'll help you be good." Celestia reassured with a caring smile. Sapphire smiled and nuzzled my leg.
"Come on Sapphire, I'll show you my house." I said as I lead Sapphire out of the throne room and the palace and entered my house. Sapphire sniffed the ground and everything in the living room. Sapphire warbled and she walked up the stairs to my room and she sniffed my covers before she climbed up onto them and curled up into a ball before she fell asleep.
"So… I'll be housing a human whose a creation…. Who knows what she's part." I thought to myself. "Ah well… how hard can she be?"

A day had passed since Sapphire came to stay with Mykan in his house. So far Sapphire has been docile and calm around Mykan, but she still acted a little aggressive and hostile around Lightning and the other ponies.
One morning, Sapphire felt the sunlight hit her in the eyes. She rolled over and tried to go back to sleep, but...
“Sapphire... wake up...” Sapphire warbled and she opened her eyes and she was met with Mykan’s face. Sapphire yawned and cooed at him, "Y-Yes?"
"Come on, time to wake up..." Mykan said. Sapphire nodded and she uncurled herself and she leaped off of the bed but before she could heard for the door, "Uh uh uh." Mykan said, coming in front of her. Sapphire looked confused. "If you're going to live with me then you'll have to act like me starting with walking normally." Sapphire blinked. "Meaning not on all fours."
Sapphire blinked again but she seemed to understand because she stood up on her back legs and held her arms in front of her. Mykan gently placed them at her side, "There.. much better.." he smiled.
Sapphire nodded and followed Mykan downstairs when there was a knock at the door. Mykan answered it and found Lightning and Starla. "Hey guys, what is it?"
"We thought we'd help you introduce Sapphire into out society." Lightning offered. "And I see you already got her walking like us." Mykan smiled at them. "Yeah.. so where do we begin?"
First, the trio took Sapphire to New Restaurant Row where they were ordering breakfast for themselves. Lightning, Starla and Mykan had some bacon and eggs and the waiter gave Sapphire the same thing. Sapphire sniffed it and she went to eat it with her mouth when Mykan waved his finger in front of her, stopping her. Sapphire warbled in confusion then Mykan pointed to his fork and used the fork to pick up the eggs and bacon and then ate it.
Sapphire cooed in understanding and she copied Mykan, earning a smile and nod from the three of them. For discipline, Lightning tried a spray bottle like for cats and dogs when they misbehave but when Lightning sprayed Sapphire, she simply blink at it, and fired a plasma blast at the bottle, turning it to ashes so they had to botch that plan.
Next, Mykan got some snow cones for Sapphire and the group and gave them to each of them. Sapphire sniffed it and gently grabbed hers and dragged it on her tongue and ate some. Then, the trio took Sapphire through the streets of New Canterlot. Sapphire was stared at and scoffed by some of the high-class ponies which earned them and snarl from Sapphire, but Mykan calmed her down and urged her to keep walking and ignore them. However, one high-class pony insulted Sapphire and she well... chased her around the street, making the trio forced to chase her down and try to calm her down.
By the afternoon, Sapphire was back home taking a nap while at the royal palace...
"Announcing Silversaddle, Duke of Appolossa." announced Raven, their majesties helper. Silversaddle was a brown earth pony with a large cowboy hat on his head. "Good to see you, Duke." Grand Ruler greeted.
Silversaddle tilted his hat, "Howdy you're majesties, Ahm, just here t'drop off this years census reports." Silversaddle dropped them off and he left, "Are there anymore visitors today, Raven?" Celestia asked her.
"That's the end of your list, your majesties." Raven replied.
"Alright, let's go over the notes for the seapony delegation visit next-" Celestia started but was cut off when one of the guards announced, "Announcing... Mykan, the human." and Mykan walked in, nervously. "Uh.. hi."
"Ah Mykan, what a pleasure to see you." Grand Ruler smiled. "How's Sapphire introduction going?"
"It's going well... except..."
"Except what?" Celestia questioned.
"Well.. she's still hostile and tense around everyone; like they're gonna hurt her. I wanna try and make something for her that will hopefully calm her down. I was planning on making a new telescope for her. Do you know a good telescope maker?"
"I know the best." Celestia smiled "Raven please ask Starry Eyed to come to the palace."
"Of course, your highness." Raven replied and soon an beige unicorn with a constellation cutie came into the throne room. "A telescope for the newcomer. Why sure I can make something like that." Starry stated with a smile.
"Great." Mykan smiled but.. "Of course, if I haven't run out of lenses. Used the last ones on that new Mount Palomino Observatory."
"Oh.." Mykan looked dejected, but he asked, "Where can we find new lenses, Starry Eyed?"
"Well, the finest lenses I know can be found on the New Crystal Mountain at the very peak." Starry replied. But the trip there is perilous and the trip back is even worse. You'd have to be quite an adventurer to do so."
"Thank you Starry Eyed." Grand Ruler said and Starry nodded and took his leave then he turned to Mykan, "Well Mykan?"
"Huh?" Mykan asked.
"As Starry Eyed said, journeying to the Crystal Mountains will be difficult. Are you prepared to undertake this adventure?" Grand Ruler asked. Mykan scratched his head, "All by myself.. um..."
"Well then its decided." Grand Ruler claimed before turning to Raven. "Raven, cancel all of our appointments for the rest of the day."
"Um.. your majesties?" Mykan and Raven echoed confused.
"If you're going to the New Crystal Mountains, you'll need help and it looks likes our schedule just cleared up." Celestia turned to Mykan, smiling.
"Your majesties, are you sure about this?" Raven asked with concern. "I can handle affairs before Princess Luna takes over at sunset but-" Their majesties chuckled, "Don't worry Raven. Mykan just needs a little help right now. We'll be back before you know it." Grand Ruler reassured. Raven smiled and Mykan grinned as well, "I'll pack some snacks."
Soon the three of them were off walking down a path together. "I was going to say Mykan. It's not often Celestia and I get to travel with a small group."
"Oh yeah, usually you have your guards and assistants with you." Mykan stated. "You sure you're sister and Lightning won't panic when they realize you're gone?"
"They'll be fine." Grand Ruler reassured. "They know better than to panic at the first sight when we're not there?"
The three of them now entered a mountainous range. "You sure? You and Lightning seemed awfully close; which I can get from you being his foster dad." Mykan stated.
"Indeed, Lightning and I are very close and he and I care a great deal about each other; kinda like you and Sapphire." Grand Ruler compared, surprising Mykan.
"Huh?"
"You can't deny that Sapphire does care about you very much; the way she trusted you very quickly while she was slow to trust Lightning and the others." Celestia explained. Mykan thought about what their majesties were implying but suddenly three large lobster like creatures came in front of the them; one dark blue, one beige and one orange. "Gah! What the-?" Mykan exclaimed.
"Rock lobsters." Grand Ruler grumbled.
"Stop right there you mooks." the blue one said.
"Hehehe, what do we have here, Iggy." the beige one asked.
"Looks like a couple of dopes where they shouldn't be." Iggy stated.
"Yeah." the orange one added.
"Who are you?" Mykan exclaimed.
"Who are we? You're the ones buttin' in on our turf, human." Iggy stated.
Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia spoke up then, "I am Grand Ruler and this is my wife, Queen Celestia; rightful rulers of United Equestria, you will-"
"Oh, two royals huh?" Iggy hissed, "Well then we should put you up in our royal suite.." but before the rock lobsters could appraoch the three. "AWWOOOOOOO!" a loud howl echoed through the range.
"What was that?" the beige lobster asked. They all heard some growled and they looked on a small mount and saw... a beige wolf with a white collar with four rocks sticking out of it? An orange wolf with a very fluffy mane and a red bipedal wolf? "What in the-?" Iggy exclaimed in shock.
"What in the universe are they?" Grand Ruler asked.
"Woah.. Lycanroc..." Mykan gasped.
"Lycanroc?" Their majesties questioned.
"Yeah, they're wolf pokemon or Pocket Monsters. They're Rock Type pokemon. The beige one is the Midday Form of Lycanroc, the red one is the Midnight Form and the orange one is the Dusk Form Lycanroc." Mykan explained. The Midnight for Lycanroc leaped down and walked up to the rock lobsters. "What's your deal, wolfly?" Iggy challenged, snapping his claws. "Lycanroc..." the Lycanroc growled in a deep voice.
Iggy snapped his claws and charged forth but the Lycanroc glowed red and delivered a punch to Iggys' stomach, sending him flying and crashing to the ground. "It used Counter!" Mykan gasped. The other two rock lobsters gasped in shock at the sight of Iggy on the ground. Iggy got up when the other two Lycanroc came beside Midnight Form Lycanroc, growling.
"Grr... you wanna fight little doggies?" Iggy hissed, snapping his claws, but then.. "Oshawott!" Everyone turned and saw a small bipeadal sea otter pokemon with a shell in its hands. "Woah.. an Oshawott..!" Mykan asked.
"Osha..." Oshawott leaped into the air and its shell formed a blade in the top. "Wooot!" and it slashed Iggy and the other two Rock Lobsters, sending them crashing into the small mounts nearby. Oshawott landed on the ground and the blade disappeared. Iggy and the Rock Lobsters saw they were outnumbered. "Let's split boys." Iggy said and the lobsters left the trio alone.
The three Lycanroc and Oshawott approached their majesties and Mykan, "Lycanroc?" Lycanroc (Midday form) asked them.
"We're alright, thank you." Celestia said.
"Yeah, you four are pretty tough." Grand Ruler added. Oshawott smiled proudly. "Now come along Celestia and Mykan, we have some lens to find." The three of them moved off, leaving the three Lycanroc and Oshawott, who looked at each other and nodded.
After some more traveling, the trio made it to the peak of the New Crystal Mountains. "Woah... look at all the crystals.." Mykan gasped in awe. Their majesties chuckled, "Remember Mykan~" Celestia teased, snapping Mykan out of his trance. "Right, leave it to me! This job is for a human!" Grand Ruler and Celestia smiled as Mykan searched through the crystals until he found two different sized circular lens. "Perfect!" Mykan said. "These will be perfect for Sapphire's telescope."
"Wonderful." Celestia smiled.
"I think this adventures' been a rousing success." Grand Ruler smiled.
"I can't wait to give Sapphire her-" suddenly the ground began to shake, "Uh, why is the ground shaking?" The trio turned around and saw a large volcano erupting with lava balls firing out of the top! "Holy-!"
"Oh no! One of the volcanoes is erupting!" Grand Ruler exclaimed. "Run!" The trio dashed away from the volcano, dodging the fire ball as they crashed around them! "Careful Mykan!" Celestia called.
"Right!" Mykan called up on of the lava balls struck on the side of him, sending him flying and crashing onto a large crystal float in the lava! "Woah!"
"Mykan!" their majesties cried. Mykan held the crystal lens tightly in his hands and saw he was heading for a waterfall (or in this case lavafall). "Uh oh!" Mykan whimpered but their majesties flew above him and extended their hands, "Mykan, grab on." Mykan leaped up and grabbed their hands, "Your majesties lookout! Above you!" Mykan cried and the trio saw a large fireball heading right for them!
Suddenly, "Oshawott! Osha!" The little Oshawott from before leaped over them and unleashed a stream of water at the lavaball, "Oshawott?!" Mykan gasped.
"Lycanroc...!" and the three Lycanorc leaped over them as well and they all unleashed rocks at the lava ball, dispersing it! "Lycanroc!" The four pokemon landed on the ground as the trio descended onto the ground. "Phew, thanks you four again." The three Lycanroc and Oshawott smiled at the trio.
"Indeed, thanks for saving us." Grand Ruler smiled. Lycanroc (Midday) and Lycanroc (Dusk) appraoched their majesties and nuzzled them. "What is it, you two?" Celestia asked.
"I think they wanna stay with you two, your majesties." Mykan smiled.
"They do?" their majesties asked and the two Lycanroc nodded while the Oshawott climbed onto Mykan's shoulder happily. "And I think this one wants to stay with me, don't you?" Mykan smiled happily. "Oshawott..."
Their majesties smiled at the two Lycanroc, "Alright you can come with us." Grand Ruler said.
"Now... what about the Midnight form Lycanroc?" Mykan asked, wondering who would be Lycanroc (Midnight form)s' owner. Celestia and Grand Ruler knew the perfect trainer....
"AAHHH, YOU PUT A RED WOLF IN MY ROOM!" Luna screamed in fear. Celestia, Grand Ruler and Mykan laughed in unison, hearing Luna's reaction. "CURSE YOU SISTER AND BROTHER-IN-LAW!"
After that 'incident', Mykan took the lenses to Starry and he made Sapphire her telescope. It was pink and purple with a picture of her face on it. When Mykan presented it to her, she liked it and hugged Mykan, saying, "T-Thank you?" Mykan giggled. Sapphire still need some help with talking but either way he was glad she liked her gift.
When Mykan introduced Sapphire to Oshawott, Sapphire was very curious about the tiny sea otter pokemon. Oshawott smiled at Sapphire... only to get a plasma blast to the face, leaving him shocked... and then he got upset and tried to bash Sapphire but Mykan held him back, "Woah.. woah..!" he said to the angry sea otter while Sapphire giggled at the two of them. Mykan sighed, "She still needs some work..."
The Next Day, the team and their majesties had Sapphire in the training yards to test her speed, agility, strength and etc. First, was the hundred meter dash. "Alright Sapphire, wherever you're ready, start running and Lightning will time you." Grand Ruler ordered. Sapphire nodded and crouched down at the finish line with her wings folded. Sapphire took a deep breath and rocketed off, leaving a flaming skid mark in her wake. "Oh my stars!" Rarity exclaimed.
"Galloping Galaxies!" Buddy added in amazement. In no time flat, Sapphire was back at the starting line. "Time Lightning?" Grand Ruler asked, turning to his former student. Lightning looked at the clock. "One point two seconds?!"
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed. That was faster than Lightning's time which was three point two seconds.
"Well I'll be. She's faster then you Lightning!" Applejack stated. Lightning nodded while Sapphire wandered around and looked curiously at the Hurl-a-Whirl. It was a machine similar to the wonderbolts Dizzitron, but instead being strapped into a disc, ponies were strapped in a large bubble like cell, and instead of being twirled in mere furious circular motions, the ride was designed to hurl, whirl, and twirl the flyer in all possible directions. The ride would launch them out, and then they were forced to recover fast and race back through an obstacle course. Touching a single obstacle or failing to complete the course in less than five seconds were marked as failure.
Sapphire pointed to it, "C-Can I.. try?" she asked innocently.
The team and their majesties looked at each other and nodded. Soon Sapphire was strapped into the machine and Grand Ruler started to machine up. It hurled, whirled and twirled Sapphire in all directions. "Ooh, I hope she'll be alright." Fluttershy cooed in worry. Sapphire was then launched out of the machine and to everyone's astonishment, she recovered and dove right down towards the obstacle course. "She recovered?! How can that be?!" Rainbow exclaimed in shock. She skillfully flew through the obstacle course without touching one and crossed the finish line. Lightning stopped the timer and looked at it, "Two point five seconds!" he exclaimed in shock.
Their majesties were impressed. Normally, cadets would struggle and fail with this in the beginning but Sapphire passed it with ease and that wasn't all.
When she was tasked with going through a difficult obstacle course with heat seeking lasers, she unleashed a plasma blast from her mouth and she dove into it... completely disappeared! "What the- Did she just vanish?!" Pinkie Pie gasped in utter shock.
"She cloaked herself in her plasma blast... incredible!" Celestia gasped in awe. Sapphire flew through the course with ease and the lasers couldn't detect her cause when she cloaked herself, it allowed her body temperature to match her surroundings, thus making her invisible to anything heat seeking. Sapphire made it through the course and she uncloaked herself. After a whole day of testing Sapphire, the team and their majesties called it a day and they all went to bed for the night.
Celestia, Luna and Grand Ruler woke up as normal the next morning and put on their royal clothing. The three exited their rooms and were met with Captain Shania and Goldwin, the magic statue brought to life by the magic of a mask. "Morning your-GASP!" Goldwin gasped in horror.
"What Goldwin?" Grand Ruler asked confused.
"Um... sire..." Shania started gently, "Have.. you three looked in the mirror?"
"The Mirror?" Celestia replied, confused. Goldwin brought forth three mirrors and their majesties looked at their reflections... "WAAAHHHH!" only to discover their wings and horns gone! Only dotted lines remained where they used to be.
Mykan's POV
I was in the living room with Sapphire, reading up on my studies. Sapphire was looking through some of the books on my bookself. She pulled out one book and opened it up, "Oooh..." Sapphire came over and poked me, getting my attention. "What is it Sapphire?"
Sapphire pointed to the page she opened up too... one page had a small duckling who was alone and the other page had the ducklings family on it. "Oh, that's the ugly duckling, Sapphire." I said to her. She looked at me and I explained some more, pointing to the pages, "See. On this page, the ugly duckling is lost so he's crying cause he doesn't have a family. And on the other page, his family hears him and they find him, so he's happy cause he knows where he belongs." Sapphire looked back at the book curiously, "Family?"
I nodded, "Yes. Family. It's a group of people who are very close to you." Sapphire nodded understanding. Then she noticed a picture on the desk near the lamp; it was of my family. "That's my family. My mom, dad, my brother, Neville and my sisters, Sarah and Jane."
Sapphire looked at the picture and she looked a little sad... "Do.. you have a family?" Sapphire looked at me, but she didn't say anything; she just looked sad. Oh... she doesn't have one...? Before I could say anything else...
PLUNK! PLUNK! PLUNK!
"What the-?" That sounded like it came from my bedroom window. Sapphire and I walked upstairs... and saw their majesties on a cloud outside the window... without their wings and horns?! "Your majesties!" I quickly opened the window and helped them climb into my room. "Where are your wings and horns?"
"We don't know. We just woke up and they were gone-!" Luna stated.
"Why didn't you go to Lightnings?" I asked them confused.
"We can't let our subjects see us like this?!" Grand Ruler stated exasperated, "What's an Alicorn without its wings and horn!"
"Or in your case, horns." I corrected, earning a glare from him. "Okay... now there has to be a logical explanation for your wing and horn-ectomes."
Sapphire came up to the trio and sniffed them curiously... then her horn started to glow for the first time ever! "Woah...!" Then, she brought forth a weird circular device with a cutie mark that looked like Princess Twilight Sparkles. "Sapphire.. what's this?" Grand Ruler asked.
"Traumalocation.. spell... use to locate... wings and horn..." Sapphire spoke. The device glowed brightly and Sapphire added, "Wings.. and horn... taken my magic..." Sapphire reported.
"Magic?!" their majesties exclaimed in shock. Sapphire nodded and the device managed to show up the culprits. It was three unicorns?! One was blue with a silver mane and tail. The other was yellow with a brown mane and tail. The mane covered his left eyes and the last one was red with a black and white mane.
"I can't believe it was so easy to ge the wings and horns you needed for your spell, Goldcap." the blue unicorn said.
"Just a sleeping spell, A nerve numbing agent and snickety-snick! Wings and Horns! Once we make ourselves Alicorns, Decepticolt, we'll be famous! Everybody'll know our names. I can't wait." Goldcap stated.
"Just think. We'll take our place in the Canterlot Society! I might even become a Princess." the red unicorn said. "That's what Princess Twilight Sparkle did. Princess Zappityhoof, I like it." The three unicorns came around a tree stump with a small bottle with their majesties wings and horns above them. "Once the wings and horns dissolve... drinking the potion will let us grow our own." Zappityhoof stated.
"The wings and horns have already soaked in the noontime sun. Now they have to absorb the Twilight glow of the moon and the essence of the wings and horns can be drained to make our potion." Decepticolt hissed.
OH MY GOD! "Dissolve them?!" Celestia exclaimed.
"And make themselves alicorns?!" I added.
"With our wings and horns!" Luna stated, utter shocked.
"We gotta go and get them back, this instant!" Grand Ruler claimed.
"You three can't just go up there and demand your wings and horns back." I rebutted.
"Why not?" Grand Ruler asked.
"Bad guys.. have... magic... you.. don't anymore.." Sapphire spoke slowly.
"We are more than just our magic, Sapphire.." Luna grumbled, but Sapphire just blinked innocently at them, making them groan in dismay. "Anyway... let's... go.." Sapphire said before she lit her horn and we were in the area. "You can teleport.. cool..." I gasped in awe.
We peeked above some of the bushes and saw the three unicorns with their majesties wings and horns. "The Twilight glow is on its way." Decepticolt stated to his partners.
"How will we know when the wings and horns have absorbed enough of the Twilight glow?" Zappityhoof asked.
"When the color begins to fade..." Goldcap answered. Their majesties glared at the three unicorns and looked at each other before they nodded and stepped out into the opening, "Your majesties!" I hissed concerned.
"Hey!" Grand Ruler said. The three unicorns turned to face them, "Aha, if it isn't the royal alicorns." Decepticolt mocked, "Looking for something?"
"Give us back our wings and horns this instant." Celestia demanded.
Goldcap and Zappityhoof laughed, "You three are in no shape to make demands." and all three unicorns combined their magic and caught the three royals in a net. "Ugh." Sapphire and I gasped. "Your majesties!" I rushed out of my hiding place, "Get him!" Goldcap ordered.
The three tried to blast me but I used my Shield of Righteousness to deflect the blasts. "Mykan, go now." Grand Ruler ordered me but I shook my head, "I can't leave you three here." then the three unicorns approached me, "Bad choice, human." but before they could capture me, Sapphire rammed the three away from us. "Sapphire!" I gasped.
Sapphire snarled at the three unicorns as they got up, "Little pest." Decepticolt growled, "You made a big mistake." Sapphire fired a plasma blast at the three unicorns but they dodged it and fired their magic at her but she countered with her own magic. Sapphire snarled at the three unicorns as they snickered, "You're outnumbered, pony. Might as well give up..." Zappityhoof laughed. Suddenly, their majesties wings and horns started to glow and dissolve into the potion. "Oh no!" Celestia gasped.
"Perfect..!" Goldcap said. "Now to take care of you, pest."
Sapphire snarled before she stopped and smirked. What's up with her? "Why are you smiling?" Goldcap asked. Suddenly, the three unicorns heard a echoy growl behind them and slowly turned around and saw... a pokemon? Or I think it was a pokemon.
It looked like a combination of all kinds of animals with large brown mask over its face. "Rrrr...." it growled.
"What is that thing?" Luna asked.
Sapphire laughed, "Nully..!" Nully? What kind of name is... wait... Null... as in... Type: Null! Oh, now I get it.
Type:Null growled at the three unicorns who stood in fear at the pokemon. Sapphire used this opportunity to rush over and grabbed the potion. "Hahaha." then she turned to the unicorns and growled, "You three have been abusing magic...!" and her horn sparked. "And I'm taking it away!" The three unicorns screamed as Sapphire zapped them, temporarily disabling their magic.
"All gone!" Goldcap whined.
"It can't be." Zappityhoof added.
"You're magic shall return but in the meantime, these wings and horns should only carry three ponies into the sky."
Sapphire brought it over to us as I freed their majesties from the net. "I cant take it anymore! Give me!" Luna whined, wanting her features back. Sapphire chuckled as their majesties, one by one, drank the potion and their wings and horns returned. "Thank goodness." Grand Ruler sighed in relief.
Sapphire and I couldn't be more happy for them. Type:Null came over and gave a soft growl to Sapphire. Sapphire chuckled and nuzzled him, "Nully..."
"So.. Sapphire... this pokemon is your..." I started, wanting to know exactly how Type:Null knows Sapphire.
"Nully... brother... both... created..." Sapphire spoke.
"Created?!" Their majesties gasped. Sapphire nodded as she nuzzled Type:Null. Okay... they were created... so that explains why Sapphire knew nothing about a family. Poor things...
I could see that the topic was sensitive so their majesties and I decided to leave it be. "Come on, let's go back home." Celestia said.
"What about those three?" I asked, pointing to the magicless unicorns.
"Hopefully, they learned their lesson and won't do this again..." Grand Ruler stated as we walked back towards New Canterlot.

My Brave Pony: Starfleet Redone Season I
Episode 2: Finding her Place/New Enemy
It was a beautiful day in United Equestria, there had not been any danger for several months since the last attack from Titan and his forces.
Now, everything was blissful again.
Many pony adults went to work while children went to school, and Starfleet continued to patrol the planet and many other sectors of the known galaxy to be on the alert of any dangerous enemies.
Mykan Stevens, the only human on the planet from Earth was really getting into his new life since he decided to stay and live amongst the ponies. He really enjoyed his new job teaching colts and fillies more about his world, while at the same time being an axillary member of Starfleet.
His best friend, Sapphire, was also getting used to her new life. Even today she was seen walking through New Canterlot with her backpack filled with supplies.
Every single day there's something new you can plan for

But nothing makes me happy like a day that I can say
"Today I helped somebody, and it might be you!"
As she walked through New Canterlot, the high class ponies greeted her with either a wave or a 'Hello'. Not all of them acted so stuck up and high class.

The song ended and Sapphire, wiped some sweat from her forehead and admired the new playpen she made. "Finished. Now to bring it the royal palace." Sapphire picked up the playpen and walked to the royal palace where she was allowed in by the guards and she went to the outside training dojo. There she saw all her friends and their majesties as well as her friends children.
Lightning and Starla's child was a tiny baby humanoid alicorn foal. It had a soft white coat, two beautiful blue beady eyes, a blonde yellow mane,
Buddy and Tree Hugger's child was a little alicorn filly. Greenish in color, like Tree Hugger was, and she had a cute little tuft of red hair like her dad. Her eyes were a light blue; Named "Seedling" due to the fact that both her parents had plant-like names.
Fluttershy and Rhymey's child was a yellowish alicorn, with a little brown tuft of hair, and his eyes were green. Named Button because he was cute like one, and fly to rhyme with Fluttershy- it was Rhymey's wish. Name: Button Fly.
Rarity and Spike's child was a hybrid; a dragony, the combination of dragon and pony. The child had a considerable normal pony body, but with bits of scales by her thighs. Soft little claws with no sharpness. Her ears were slightly flopped like dragons, and the tip of her muzzle was curved up slightly. She had a complete pony tail, not a dragon-tail, but the best feature of all was her coat was lilac, and her little tuft was dark navy blue with a pink streak, and her mulberry eyes. Name: Twilight Scales Sparkle.
Their majesties children were both white alicorns but one had a brown mane and tail; Castor and the other had a pink mane and tail; Leilani. They placed their babies in the playpen, which was under the watch of their majesties along with Shining Light, but Twilight had her own special flame-proof playpen and sat in it alone- it just wasn't safe for her to hang around the other babies, for fear she would sneeze or belch flames and hurt them.
Still, the playpens were close, and Celestia and Grand Ruler watched over all the babies. Their five year-olds, Castor and Leilani were permitted to play with the babies, but not tease them nor get into the playpens.
"Peek-a-boo." cooed Leilani, and the pony babies all laughed and giggled. Still Castor preferred to play with Twilight, and he made cute playful dragon noises that made her giggle.
The parents smiled lovingly at their children. Then Celestia and Grand Ruler noticed Sapphire. "Ah, Sapphire you made it." Grand Ruler said.
Sapphire nodded, "Here's the new playpen."
"Thank you." Celestia said.
"Sapphire! Sapphire!" Castor and Leilani cheered happily and they hugged Crystal. "Heheh, hi kids." Castor and Leliani have taken a liking to Sapphire a few days after she came to stay with Mykan. They bonded quickly with Snowflake and they liked having their small playdates with the Light Fury dragons, who would also be their babysitter when Celestia and Grand Ruler weren't around.
Then Lightning and the others came over, "Hey Sapphire.." Lightning greeted.
"Hi Commander." Sapphire said.
"Sapphire, you don't have to call me that everytime." Lightning playfully scolded.
"Hehe... force of habit." Sapphire said sheepishly. Sapphire was made a Cadet-in-training for Starfleet.
"So you wanna start more training?" Lightning asked.
Sapphire nodded and the team went through the training drills with her. She did better and better each time she did them.
Later that day
It was nighttime and Lightning and the others went home to New Ponyville, but Sapphire stayed at the palace. She walked out onto the balcony and stared at the moon. "Sapphire?"
Sapphire turned and saw their majesties. "Is something wrong?" Grand Ruler asked.
"Well.. it's just... everyone else has a purpose here. Even my friends and Mykan. They all greatly help United Equestria while I just work as a community worker... I just... feel like maybe there's something more that I can do to help.." Music started playing and Sapphire broke into song.

"You really think so..?" Sapphire asked.
Their majesties nodded. "Now you go home and get some rest, alright.?" Grand Ruler asked.
Sapphire nodded and she went back home and entered her house. She found Snowflake, Oshawott and Mykan already asleep and she climbed into her bed. "I really hope they're right." she thought to herself and she fell asleep for the night.
Dreamscape..
Sapphire found herself in a large void that was blue with stars all around herself. "Woah... hello..? Anyone here...?" She called out.
"Greetings Sapphire .." She turned around and saw a angel-corn (What ponies become when they die) before her. "Woah... who are you?" Sapphire asked.
"My name is Twilight Sparkle.. and I am here to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"Sapphire, there is a great power inside of you that will unlock in the near future." Twilight said.
"A great power..?"
"Yes, this power will bring forth new challenges and responsibilities for you, so you must use it wisely." Twilight advised.
"What is my power?" Sapphire asked.
Twilight chuckled, "It's best if you figure that out on your own. Your friends will help you better understand this new ability. I will be watching over you in the meantime." Sapphire nodded before the void went completely white.

Sapphire woke up in a shock and breathed heavily, looking around the room. She caught her breath and looked at the moon. "Woah... that was intense... wonder what power I'll have...?" she thought to herself.
The Next Morning..
Mykan and Sapphire woke up and were dressed. "Well, I'm off to New Ponyville Elementary.." Mykan said with Oshawott by his side, "Oshawott Osha.." Sapphire chuckled as Mykan flew off to New Ponyville with Oshawott on his shoulder. Sapphire watched him as he left for New Ponyville just as the alarms sounded! "What the-?" she asked herself. She saw some ponies flying towards the palace gates and she followed them, seeing her friends and new group across from them.
There, they saw a tall woman with tan colored skin. Her long silvery hair was done up in a huge and curly ponytail. She wore a black suit, a silvery skirt, with blood red and black armor, complete with shoulder pads, chest plate arm guards and knee plates. She wore tall black boots, a golden colored cape that ran down to her kneecaps. And across her eyes she wore a shiny golden mask. On her belt she carried a sword in a sheath, and a ray-gun in a holster. Name: Sienna
Another was a tall and rather muscular humanoid creature. He had green skin, short red hair, and was wearing black battle armor over a grey jump suit. Name: Slash
They then saw a little boy, with tan colored skin and dark blue hair dressed in in a dark purple suit with a black cape. Name: Mako and by his side was a red skinned humanoid alien lady with shoulder length brown hair. She was all dressed in a grey monk's robe, holding a crystal ball in her hand. Name: Omnisha.
And they saw some other alien creatures- Raiders as well. "Woah.." Sapphire gasped. She hid out of sight because, as a Cadet, she was not permitted to fight in battles yet and she watched as Grand Ruler stepped forth, "I am Grand Ruler Celesto; Commander-in-Chief of Starfleet and co-ruler of this planet.
My wife: Queen Celestia.
My sister-in-law: Princess Luna."
The alien captain scoffed softly, "Well, don't you sound important."
The majesties looked livid, and the team felt insulted for their majesties. "Why you…!" Rainbow grumbled softly, but Artie held her back.
Slash and Omnisha snickered.
"Who are you?" asked Celestia.
The captain stood tall and proud, "I'm Sienna; Intergalactic Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire.
I work for no one in particular; I'm just out for myself and my crew.
I specialize in rare and valuable items, and for nearly two-hundred years my crew and I have dedicated our lives to pillage the galaxy of its valuables."
"In other words, you're nothing but a band of thieving space pirates." jeered Buddy. Slash threateningly pointed his sword at him, "I'd watch what I say if I were you. We can get very nasty."
Sienna held up her hand, telling him to hush!
"What is it that you want here?" asked Luna.
Sienna sighed irritably, "I just told you, I'm a Treasure Hunter. "Trea-sure… Hunt-er" But anyway, there's something here on this planet that I seek…
…I want The Elements of Chaos."
The three royal ones all stiffened, while the rest of the team all looked confused. "The Elements of Chaos?" asked Fluttershy. "What in the hoot is she talkin' about?" added Applejack.
"It is but a myth." said Celestia "Just as The Elements of Harmony were forged from The Light of Purity, the left over dark energy created their evil counter parts."
"But as was said, it is merely a myth, for no such objects exist." said Luna.
"Wrong…!" snapped Sienna "It is no myth. The Elements of Chaos are real, and they are hidden somewhere here on this planet."
"And just how do you know of this,
And that your mind isn't a miss?" asked Rhymey.
Sienna reached in from under her armor, "…Because I have this."And she held up the pendant of the severed alicorn horn she wore round her neck.
Celestia took one look at that pendant, and gasped! Her eyes widened greatly. "That… it can't be…!"
"Celestia!" cried Grand Ruler. "Sister… what is it?" asked Luna. She didn't know who the horn belonged to, neither did Grand Ruler, but they were still both surprised that Sienna had such a thing.
"What is it?" asked Dyno. "Please tell us." said Myte.
Celestia felt her insides quaking with disbelief, but there was no denying it, "That is a piece of horn of… of…" she paused, "…Queen Galaxia… my mother!"
Luna gasped in shock.
"What?" snapped Grand Ruler, and all the team stood puzzled and shocked out of their minds.
"But… but that is impossible!" cried Luna "I was told Mother had died while I was but an infant!"
Celestia almost felt tears coming to her eyes, for she was only no more than two years old when she last saw her mother over one-thousand years ago, and she remembered her mother's appearance anywhere.
Sienna explained, "I found this a while back while we were raiding another planet, and everyone knows how rare and valuable the horn of a unicorn or alicorn is."
Omnisha then stepped forth waving her hand over her crystal-ball, "I have the ability look into souls, and see into the past present and imminent future, with the help of special items, and this horn fragment confirms the story."
Sinnea then touched the horn piece to the crystal-ball. A ray of light then shone from the ball showing a still image of Queen Galaxia, and what a sight she was to behold.
She looked like a much larger version of Celestia. Her coat was white that faded into soft brown at the edges. Her mane and tail were two-toned- peach at the starting halves, and purple at the ends- which shimmered with glittering sparkles.
The team was just speechless! What a goddess!
"Oh, my…!" Celesto said so softly. This was the very first time he had ever seen any image of his mother-in-law, as well as Luna seeing her mother for the very first time as was too young to remember her face, but Celestia… her tears were falling now, but she didn't cry. Her anger was starting to catch up feeling all this was an insult to her mother, "You are lying…! I don't believe you!"
"But it's true…" sneered Omnisha "See for yourself." and surely enough the images shown Galaxia creating the Elements of Harmony from The Light of Purity- a cosmic force induced through sunlight and combined with the energy the six pure elements…
Magic, Generosity, Kindness, Laughter, Loyalty and Honesty… but just as was promised, the Elements of Chaos were created by accident from the leftover, unused dark energy. Each one representing the exact opposite of the forces of harmony…
Normality, Selfishness, Hatred, Sadness, Treachery, and Deceit…!
There was a great burst from The Elements of Chaos as something dreadful seemed to occur…
…but those were all the images that could be viewed from the horn piece, like only holding one piece of a jigsaw puzzle.
"Galloping Galaxies!" cried Lightning. "It's almost unreal!" said Starla.
Sienna and her team heard that, "Oh, it's as real as real can be." said Slash "With those elements in our possession, we'll become invincible, and no one in the entire universe will stand up to us.
Sienna nodded and she glared at Celestia, "You are Glaxia's eldest daughter. Therefore, I believe you know where the elements are hidden."
"That's right!" snapped Mako "Now hand them over and make it snappy!"
Celestia clenched her fists tightly "I don't know where these elements are hidden, and even if I did I would never hand them over to the likes of you!"
Sienna was starting to lose patience, "You're lying."
"No, Captain… she isn't." said Omnisha. She was using her power to read Celestia's mind, "She really doesn't know where they are. We will get nothing from her."
Sienna growled, her patience had run out.
"Well, I guess that means we go to Plan B after all!" hissed Slash.
"What's Plan-B?" asked Grand Ruler.
Sienna glared at him deeply, "Since you cannot give us The Elements of Chaos, I'll simply have to seek them out myself, even if it means breaking this planet up… bit-by-bit!"
Starla stepped forth, "We've heard enough out of you!" she thundered. The team all agreed, and then Grand Ruler whistled loudly for guards and other fighters to come forth.
Sienna and her team were completely surrounded.
"I give you this one, chance!" sneered Grand Ruler "Surrender, or face the consequences!"
Sienna bent down to her brother, "I want you to go back to the ship. This is going to get dangerous."
"Okay Sis." and Mako and a few of the raiders teleported off and was gone.
This gave away that she was going to get rough, so the friends all agreed, and transformed.
"STARFLEET MAGIC!"
"HARMONY HOUR, FRIENDSHIP POWER!"
"Dragon Power!"
Celestia and Luna touched the cutiemark symbols on the fronts of their garbs, and changed into their warrior outfits.
"ATTACK!" shouted Grand Ruler and all the fighters rushed forth, but the second they did, Sienna, and her two minions leapt upward.
"Whoa! She's fast!" exclaimed Rainbow.
"Where did she go?" asked Artie, and that's when a swarm of laser blasts fired at them from above. Sparks explosions flew everywhere.
"Up there!" cried Spike, pointed up a tall, tall tree where the three villains stood. Sienna blew onto the tip of her ray-gun, "You don't rob the galaxy of its riches without being a skilled fighter. You should've known that." She the signaled for the Raiders to attack, and her army rushed forth.
The Equestrians and the other Starfleet fighters agreed to take down the raiders, while the space ponies and their majesties attacked Sienna and her crew.
"Let's party!" shouted Pinkie, and she leapt up and over, stomping on the head of the Raiders.
"Coming through!" hollered Rainbow and she flew right through a gaggle of them, knocking them down like a bail of bowling pins
Krysta flew along, and though she was small, being as strong as three-thousand times her own weight, she flew straight at the evil creatures with the strength of a rhino.

She even managed to outwit several more as they charged at her at once. Due to her small size, she was able to easily avoid them as they all jumped at her and ended up smashing into each other.
"Don't you know a small fairy always wins against a gaggle of big blundering bozos?" she teased.
"These guys aren't nearly so tough." said Spike as he slashed the creatures down with his sword.
The remaining Raiders decided to step up their game, and held out swords and small pirate cannons.
"Uh, oh…!" cried Fluttershy, "I think you spoke too soon!" added Applejack.
The Gun Raiders fired shots from their cannons, forcing the fighters to leap up high into air and flutter, this helped to distract them and the others so that the other fighters below could rush in and attack.
The other Starfleet fighters knocked the swords and guns away from the Raiders, and the fighters with horns blasted the evil creatures with beams of magic, hitting the Raiders hard and vaporizing them into black dust.
"Blast 'em!" shouted Buddy, and, multiple shots from all their horns were fired, but Sienna and Slash repelled and deflected every blast with their swords.
"Now try this…!" shouted Slash and he unleashed a rain of blasts from the tip of his blade.
The Twins held their hands together,"BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS!"and unleashed their rockets to intercept some of the blasts and make big clouds of smoke.
"Where are they?" grumbled Sienna.
Omnisha shut her eyes tightly, placing her hand over her crystal ball, "Get ready to jump…
…NOW!" and the trio jumped away a split second before a whole salvo of magical blasts hit them. The tree was roasted to bits, but the villains were safe.
"I don't believe this,
Every shot was a miss!" growled Rhymey.
Omnisha snickered, "No, duh! I told you, I can see into the imminent future. I can tell every move you'll make before you make it!"
The team all growled in frustration, "Now what do you say we step this up a little." said Slash, "Captain… may I?"
"You may." agreed Sienna.
Slash nodded and pulled off one of those gem-capsules from his belt.
"What is he doing?" wondered Luna.
"Jema-Nite Crusher, I summon you!" Slash declared as he threw the capsule, and unleashed a huge hulking monster, three times the size of the ponies. Its skin was all shiny, almost like real diamonds and gems, but its muscles were huge and pulsating.
"What is that?!" cried Celestia.
"A Jema-Nite!" said Grand Ruler "I've seen these before in my travels through space; they're artificially created creatures, forged from gems and infused with deadly magic to bring them to life. They may not look like much, but they really are strong and tough."
"Isn't that nice; you all got your Jema-Nite lesson for the day." mocked Sienna.
The team felt annoyed with her sneering, and the three royal alicorns tried to blast her again, but just like before, Omnisha predicted this allowing the trio to zip out of the way to safety.
"Where'd they go?" snapped Grand Ruler.
"Never mind that now." said Luna, and she hinted at the monster which was snarling and growling at everyone.
The monster roared and charged at them all. It was surprisingly fast for a big bulky creature. It aimed a strong punch at the ponies, and they all jumped up over it and then Starla sprinted back and kicked it hard in the chest sending it skidding backward a bit.
"LEAF SWARM!"
"DRILL QUILL!"
Buddy and Rhymey unleashed a barrage of razor-leafs and sharp quills at the creature, stunning it softly, but hardly doing much damage.
"We need stronger attacks!" shouted Buddy.
The others all agreed, and they got out their weapons.
"STAR BOW"
"VINE WHIP"
"SUPER STAFF"
"WARD SWORD"
Dyno and Myte didn't have any handheld weapons, and still felt no need for any as their fire powers were good enough.
The ponies all charged forth, but were suddenly intercepted by powerful blasts that hit them from above. It was Sienna and her crewmates, standing up on a rooftop. "Did you forget about us?" Sienna teased.
The ponies growled, but the three royal alicorns fluttered up to where the villains. "But we didn't!" sneered Grand Ruler.
"Ha!" snapped Sienna "You think we're scared of you? Remember, we have the advantage."
Omnisha snickered as she rubbed her Crystal Ball, "I'll be able to determine anything you try."
Grand Ruler looked at the ladies, and they each blinked once at him, and stood their grounds.
"Let's get 'em!" thundered Slash, and he and his comrades leap forth. Sapphire gasped and she suddenly came out of hiding, shocking Slash and his comrades. "What the-?!" Sienna exclaimed.
Sapphire managed to climb up to the roof and confronted Sienna and the others. "Sapphire, what are you doing here?!" Celestia snapped.
"Hahaha, I see you're a newbie, huh?" Sienna teased. "You'll be easy pickings." Slash and his comrades leaped forth but Sapphire slashed the group with her tail.
"Gah!" Slash grunted.
"I see you're not as defenseless as I thought." Sienna snickered. "Guess I'll have to take you on." Sienna then leaped forward towards Sapphire and Sapphire felt a sudden surge inside of her and she suddenly roared loudly and the clouds behind her turned into roaring lions. Everyone froze and stared in awe and shock. The wind from the roar blew Sienna, Slash, Omnisha and the comrades across the roof. Sapphire stopped roaring and just stared at them while a mark in the shape of a lions' head appeared on her cheek. The force of the roar broke Omnisha's crystal ball, "My crystal ball!" she cried.
Sapphire then turned to the Jemm-Nite and roared at it and the force of it, shattered the Jemm-Nite completely. "Holy...!" Rainbow gasped.
The villains saw this, and Slash couldn't believe his eyes. "Not many are able to stand up to our forces." The three villains were cornered, surrounded on the roof by their majesties, Lightning and Sapphire.
While up on Sienna's ship, Mako saw everything on the monitors. "No! Sis!" he cried "Quick! Activate the transport beam!"
The Raiders agreed and quickly dashed for their consoles.
Grand Ruler and the others prepared to capture the villains, declaring "You are under arrest for terrorism, genocide, and murder of a Starfleet officer!"
"Wait..! What?!" Sapphire exclaimed in her head.
Then, just as they all shot their powers, a beam of light shot down from above, encircling the villains and shielding them from the powers. "What?!" snapped Grand Ruler.
"A transport beam!" cried Celestia.
Lightning punched, kicked and zapped at the light, but that light was more like a tube of energy- a force-field- and attacking it was no use. It was almost like trying to punch through a strange alloy.
The villains got up snickering as they were carried off, back up to the ship. "Know this, Starfleet:" thundered Sienna "You've made rather a bad enemy of me today, but I'll be back to strike again and I will not rest until The Elements of Chaos are mine!"
Pinkie could only childishly blow a raspberry at her, but Sienna and her comrades were gone.
Lightning clenched his fists angrily, "I guess we all know what this means." And everyone else agreed; the planet was plunged into another war against a new enemy.
When the villains got back to the ship, Sienna hugged her little brother, "Good thinking, Mako. You saved us all form what could've been a horrible fate."
"Hey, I couldn't bear if I lost you Sienna." said Mako. He really meant it, the way he looked at his sister almost tearfully. "Ever since our parents died… you were… all I had!"
Sienna felt a little sore inside remembering all that as well, and she hugged her brother again tightly.
Slash merely scoffed, "Sorry to break up the mush, Captain, but what are we supposed to do now? These creeps aren't like other forces that stood up to us before."
Omnisha was just as furious over the loss of her crystal ball. "It was a new model too." She grumbled as she polished up an old one she hadn't uses in decades, "This old one will have to do, but it has less power than my other one did. I won't be able to predict imminent events now. All I can do sense if whether or not we're closer to finding The Elements."
Sienna pondered deeply and deduced, "Perhaps it would be nice to have some worthy adversaries to clash with."
Her crew agreed with her. So far, in their many raids and treasure hunts throughout the cosmos, most races they fought or stole from were weak and spineless, and those that did put up fights didn't last very long and always met with defeat shortly after.
"Yes…" hissed Sienna "We've lost today, but we learned from this, and we'll use this to help in the hunt for The Elements of Chaos."
She looked out the windows of the ship and down at the planet, "They're hidden down there somewhere, and I won't rest until I find them!"
She snickered softly and wickedly.
After the fight, the ponies returned to the palace and they all had the same question for Sapphire, "HOW DID YOU ROAR LIKE THAT?!"
"I don't know. It just came out.." Sapphire replied.
"Well what ever it was, it sure is powerful." Applejack said. "It destroyed that Jemm-Nite."
"Yeah. It was amazing." Rainbow said.
Their majesties have never heard anything like this. Celestia examined the lion head mark on Sapphire's cheek. "I think this mark has something to do with your new power, Sapphire." Celestia said.
"We'll have to study this new power carefully." Grand Ruler added. "If it is as powerful as we think, then you must learn to control it." Everyone nodded in agreement.
Later that same evening before sundown, Dyno and Myte had just hauled out a few carts overflowing with newly unearthed jewels and ore from one of their mines…
…When Sienna's forces attacked!
Slash, Omnisha, and their newest Jema-Nite; Raptor: a dinosaur like creature resembling part a T-Rex and with spines like a stegosaurus.
The creature growled, and Slash fingered the tip of his blade, snickering as Dyno and Myte stood to defend their finds.
"You're standing between us and a great haul." hissed Slash, "Now, get out of our way!"
"No way, Jose!" sneered Dyno, "We worked hard to unearth all this for the country!" added Myte.
Slash and Omnisha scoffed, both of them believing the real reason The Twins were protecting the load was because of an Element of Chaos hidden in their findings, but they wouldn't know for sure until Omnisha got close enough to examine them.
Omnisha whispered to Slash, "You deal with these twats, I'll examine the jewels."
Slash agreed, "Okay, Raptor, let's rumble!"
Raptor growled and flailed ferociously.
The Twins nodded at one another, and they transformed, "Starfleet Magic!"
"Attack!" shouted Slash, and his monster stomped forth growling at the twins. The twins leapt up high and kicked the huge beast hard sending it back several paces.
"Nobody is messing with out load!" growled Dyno.
"How cute…" sneered Slash, and he leapt forth attacking the twins mercilessly.
The twins dodged and swerved, and then tried to attack him from different sides, but Slash managed to block and avoid their attacks.
With the twins distracted, Omnisha was free to move towards the carts of treasure.
"Dyno, the jewels!" cried Myte.
"Blast her!" shouted Dyno.
The boys fired magical blasts from their horns- they didn't have to be in contact with each other for their small attacks- but Omnisha swerved, "I don't need to be all-seeing to avoid such pitiful attacks." she taunted, and then she blasted at them with shots form her crystal ball, sending them both skidding along the ground.
The twins got up to their feet to try and charge her, but Slash and Raptor blocked their way. "I'm not through with you two yet." Slash hissed.
The Twins growled angrily, and then joined their hands together…
"BOOM-BOOM FIREBALLS"
Slash only snickered as the fireballs came at him and his monster.
Raptor stepped forth and demonstrated its special ability by opening its huge mouth, and actually absorbing the flames, and then spitting them back out again with double the power, forcing the twins to dodge.
"That was close!" said Dyno.
Myte, agreed, "Maybe we should have scanned this creep first."
Raptor huffed out a trail of smoke from its mouth, and stomped its huge feet ready for more.
The twins and the monster began to duke it out, and while the twins were distracted, Slash moved over to the carts where Omnisha was still looking over the treasures. "Well…?" he asked rather impatiently.
Omnisha looked up in outrage, "Nothing!" she grumbled.
"A'RGH!" growled Slash "All these jewels, beautiful and glittering, but once again… not a single Element of Chaos in sight! What a waste of time!"
"At least we have all this treasure to take back with us!" said Omnisha, "Sienna should find that appealing."
Slash agreed, and then grabbed Raptor's crystal-capsule off his belt, "Raptor, Return!" he called. At once, a beam of light shot out from the capsule, hitting the monster, and magically returning it inside.
"Our load!" cried Dyno.
"Our load you mean." hissed Omnisha, and she tauntingly blew the twins a kiss, before she and Slash vanished along with the carts and the treasures.
"Ay…A'RGH!" groaned Myte, and he angrily pounded the ground, "After all that work we spent to dig those up too."
Dyno comforted his brother,"Tómalo con calma /Take it easy,Myte. We can always dig up more, and besides at least we're safe and not more damage was done."
Myte calmed himself,"Tienes razón/You're the same, we better report to Lightning."
By the time the sun had gone completely down, and the stars were shining, Lightning was in bed and reading the report from the twins, and he sighed softly.
"How bad is it?" Starla asked.
"Well, with all those jewels and ores stolen, it means the clients who ordered them will be set back a few weeks; nothing really that bad, but I still feel bad for the boys… they didn't deserve to have their hard work ruined."
Starla felt just as upset as well and clenched her fists, but Lightning urged her to calm down and to think of the baby. "Come on, let's get some sleep."
His wife smiled and pecked him lovingly as they sniggered down in their bed together.
While on Sienna's ship, even villains knew when it was time for bed, except for Slash and Omnisha whom were both told by Sienna to stand watch on the bridge while she put Mako to bed.
Slash was really annoyed and groaned and complained, "We did all the work, we bring in a huge haul of gems, and what thanks do we get…?"
"For once, I agree with you…" said Omnisha "That little brat's got Sienna wrapped around his little finger."
Meanwhile, Sienna tucked Mako into his bed. Though they were siblings, it almost looked like a mother putting her child to bed.
"Sienna…?"
"Yes, Mako…?"
"Do you think I'll ever make a great Treasure Hunter like you?"
His sister smiled, "I'm sure you will, especially with me to help you, just like I've always been there for you. But who knows… when I get The Elements of Chaos, we may not need to hunt for treasure anymore."
Mako prospered at the thought of so much power, and ruling the universe by his sister's side.
He then let out a huge yawn, and snuggled into his bed.
Sienna tucked him in warmly and pecked his head, and as she left her brother's room and walked back down the hall, she thought to herself,"I promise you, Mako. I'll always be there for you. You're all I have."
She remembered a time, long, long ago, when they were much younger and living in an orphanage on another planet, since their parents died.
Little Mako was sobbing miserably,"I'm so scared, Sienna! Mommy and Daddy are gone! I don't want to live here!"
Sienna hugged her brother tightly, trying to be brave for him,"It'll be okay, Mako. I'm still here with you, and I always will be. We'll get through this together."
Eventually, the two settled into their lives at the orphanage, and spent loads of time together.
One day, in the sandbox…
"Look, Sienna, I made a spaceship."
"Hey, that's pretty neat, Mako. It looks so real."
"Someday…"said Mako"I wanna fly in a real spaceship, and fly through space to see new planets."
"Hey… I like that." said Sienna "I'm sure if we dream hard about it, it'll come true."
Sienna snapped back into reality, but still thinking to herself,"And it HAS come true, but there's still much to be done."
Elsewhere, many ponies were going home and to bed, even the Starfleet units were switching shifts so the night patrols were now on duty.
Even at New Canterlot Palace it was getting to be bedtime for some.
Celestia and Grand Ruler were helping their children get ready for bed. "Here you go," said Grand Ruler, "All comfy and warm now."
Castor and Leilani had both outgrown their cribs and now slept in proper beds, big beds with four-posters, and their beds stood close together with a small nightstand in between. This way they could be close together and not feel separated from one another.
…But, just like most children tended to be, they weren't all that keen about bedtime.
Castor let out a huge yawn as he battled to stay awake, "But we're not sleepy." he whined softly. "Oh, yes you are…" Celestia cooed.
"No… not… sleep…" groaned Leilani. She nearly drifted off, "We're thirsty."
Grand Ruler chuckled, "Yes, Children…" and motioned over as Aunt Luna came over carrying a large tray with a pitcher of cold water and the children's favorite cups to set on the nightstand.
The children had their drinks, and then snuggled down softly.
"Sleep tight." Their father said as he bent over and pecked their little heads, and their mother did the same.
"Goodnight, Father," said Leilani.
"Goodnight, Mother." said Castor.
"Goodnight, my darlings." Celestia whispered.
The adults left the room, turning out the lights so the little nightlights came on.
Luna smiled lovingly, "It is such a beautiful sight to see them sleep softly."
Celestia agreed, but her sadness started to show, "I wonder… if this is how Mother when she had us."
The two sisters remained silent, and Grand Ruler felt really sorry for them. Though he also knew what it felt like to lose your parents, at least he got to know his for a good time, while Celestia and Luna barely knew Queen Galaxia at all.
At least he could be there to comfort his own family.
"Come on…" he said to his wife, "Maybe we should get to be ourselves. We've had a hard day."
Celestia agreed, and Luna prepared to take her night-watch. So they all bid other goodnight and went on their ways.
Meanwhile, Sapphire was sleeping peacefully in bed until...
"Sapphire..."
Sapphire opened her eyes and looked around.
"Sapphire..."
She traced the call to outside and she looked out the window and saw Twilight's Angel corn! Sapphire gasped and quietly crept out of the house and towards her, "Twilight...?"
Twilight smiled, "I see you've use the Roar of Harmony."
"Roar of Harmony..?" Sapphire asked.
"Yes, the Roar of Harmony is a powerful and great gift. It can be used for great good, but it can also be used her terrible evil."
"Well, I'll never use it for evil. Ever."
"I'm glad to here that, but there's one more thing I must show you." Twilight glowed and she and Sapphire were teleported away from New Canterlot and into the New Everfree Forest. Sapphire found herself in a cave that had crystals on the walls and small flowers and at the back of the cave was a large crystalline tree. "Woah... what's this?"
"This is the Tree of Harmony, where Queen Celestia and Princess Luna first discovered the Elements of Harmony which my friends and Queen Celestia possess."
"Cool.. but what does this have to do with me?" Sapphire asked.
Suddenly, the tree glowed and it sent a rainbow stripe to the center and down to a roof where it made a small flower. Sapphire walked up to the flower and touched it. The flower glowed and opened revealed a golden necklace with a rainbow colored heart-shaped gem in the center. "Woah..." the necklace floated in the air and attached itself to her neck.
"... What happened?" Sapphire asked.
"The Tree of Harmony gave you a new Element of Harmony." Twilight said.
"A new Element?" Sapphire asked.
"Yes, this Element will protect you from harm and it will respond to your heart." Sapphire nodded and she stared at her necklace. "I trust you will use it well." Twilight smiled and she glowed brightly and before Sapphire knew it she was standing back in her bedroom! She looked at her Element and rubbed against it. "I promise I'll use this wisely, Twilight... I promise."
