Hey guys,

Sorry it took so long for chapter to arrive, I was just worried ever since the ratings have gone like this. But I am gonna finish this story no matter what. So hope you enjoy the chapter.

Also there's a song that belongs to it's rightful owners, and a funny theme song for a chase.

Dinner Party

"Hey Sail you okay you seem a bit confused or something?" Fluttershy asks the dinosaur who has been feeling different ever since that kiss he received from Sweetie Belle at the surprise. He shakes his head and looks at the yellow Pegasus.

"Yeah Fluttershy I'm okay just..... Been a bit sidetracked." He responds not wanting to talk about it at the moment. Just then Twilight Sparkle enters and notices his sad face. She wants to have a chat with him later about this... But for now she had a little request for him to do. She whispers to Fluttershy if she and him can a little moment to themselves. She agrees and leaves to go and tend her animals cause who knows how Discord is coping. Twilight approaches and gently taps his shoulder. He looks at her wondering what she could want.... Just nothing to do with books.

"Sail I have a little request to ask you.."

"Okay.... What is it?" He asks her completely unaware of what she's about to ask him. Twilight takes a deep breath ready to say it.

"I would like you to spend the day with Rexy so you can get to know eachother. If that's okay" Sail stiffens up from shock from what he just heard, spend the entire day with the dinosaur that almost.... Killed him. He stares her with rage and worry.

"Twilight are you insane?! Need I remind you he tried to kill me and yet... Nearly did??" He question her because ever since he's been afraid of him. Sure he has equal strength.. but Rexy's jaws could rip his neck with one bite. Twilight nods slowly and explains the situation.

"I understand that you are worried he might lose it and attack. But he did help you with the song for Sweetie Belle right?" Sail slowly nods remembering he did help him with that moment. "Plus Scootaloo managed to convince to spend the time already. So please... Give him a chance and I'm sure you both will become good friends." She asks with a hint of beg in her eyes, Sail smiles and rubs her mane.

"Alright... I will give it a shot." He gets up and makes his to the doors "At least it's better than being stuck in the library" Twilight turns in shock and he runs before she does something horrible to him. (Trust me... She will) Thorax enters from seeing a running Spinosaurus away from the main room. He approaches and give Twilight a small peck on the cheek, and she gladly returns it, and they almost had a romantic moment til their children enter the room.

"Hey Mum was all that commotion about?" Asks the oldest out the two a changeling that looks exactly like Throax except the orange horns and has a mane that's like Twilight. Twilight goes over and pulls her close,

"Nothing much Twirax it's just something that Sail needs to do" She responds with a sweet smile that any mother would show to how they love their child, while Thorax is carrying the son on his back named Alistair. They all decide to go and have a fun family day out. Meanwhile Sail is making his way to where the Alicorn said to meet Rexy... There was 50% of him that didn't want to do him. But he knew he has to be brave, as he almost reaches his destination he can see two figures that easily show Scootaloo and... Rexy he gulped from fear and got slower as he got closer. Rexy is a bit annoyed he has to do this, he's about to leave when a hoof touches his claws. He turns and sees Scootaloo with a smile.

"Hey Rexy I just wanted to say thanks for agreeing to do this.. I know it's hard, but it means a lot to me." Rexy gives a loving nuzzle and she returns the gesture knowing he would do this for her. Sail arrives and stares at them, they pull away with a little blush and Rexy looks at him with a serious stare. Sail sweats and waves at him, Scootaloo leaves them to it and makes her way back to the School of Friendship.

"So Sail... You ready for this day?" Rexy asks the dinosaur that slowly nods his head. He leads the way and follows behind so be doesn't get too close to his jaws. They don't really talk much for the first half an hour. When they arrive at the edge of the forest Rexy turns to him.

"Alright Sail if you're a good hunter. Now's your time to show it to me, we're gonna hunt some Manticores and you better not dissapoint me." He speaks with a voice that almost sounds a mentor. Sail agrees and they enter the trees, after a 5 minute search they see a group of Manticores.

"Okay so what exactly is the plan?" Sail asks Rexy who's looking at the group. He doesn't respond at first, but then quietly Whispers to him. "Since you're faster than me when running. You'll go around behind them and chase them towards me and then I'll strike two of them down. While you get the biggest one understand?" Sail is confused til he points the huge one with the biggest stinger. Sail nods in understanding the task and the T Rex nudges his head to tell him to get going.

Sail gets up and slowly goes round the Manticores making sure not to make a sound. He is a little nervous because he doesn't want to want to dissapoint Rexy on his first time with him, he sighs and eventually makes his way round..... He slowly approaches them while stopping when they are looking around checking for danger. When the time is right he charges and roars at them causing them to run in the direction of Rexy who is in position to strike the cats, when they are close enough Rexy charges out and bites one of them and rips off it's head, with the other he has to put a bit of a fight but finally pins it down and ends it's life. He looks at Sail and sees that he is putting up a good fight with the creature. The Manticore slashes at Sail's eye when he is unaware of it's claws. Sail finally knocks it to the side and delivers the killer bite, Sail raises his head up and pants from that hunt. Rexy goes to Sail and notices he has a scar on his eye two two slash marks above his eye and one below, he gets some healing herbs and places them over his eye. "Thanks Rexy... I'm feeling better already."

"No problem Sail, you did very well today. You made sure to be aware and cautious, good job" He smiles at him and Sail smiles back. Just then Rexy suddenly frowns and the Spinosaurus is confused. "Look Sail, I want to apologize... For attacking you and nearly killing you. I was just worried from my last experience with one of your species. But you're different, I am glad I gave you a chance. Can you ever forgive" he asks him with some hope that he can and they get the chance to be friends. Sail is surprised that he's actually giving him the opportunity for friendship, but he raises his claws and tells him to give me a high claw. Rexy struggles but manages to give him one and they begin to feast on the corpses.

As they eat Rexy notices Sail seems to be concerned about something. "Hey what's up buddy?" He asks after swallowing some flesh, Sail looks at him and decides to discuss with him.

"Rexy have you noticed that..... Our friends seem to not have been hanging out with eachother at the moment?" He questions him hoping he did notice. Rexy is glad he isn't the only one that noticed that.

"Yeah it seems everypony has been so busy with their chores or family they haven't been hanging out as much as they used. But I don't know what to do about it." Rexy replies with a sincere tone in his tone. Sail thinks and suddenly has a suggestion.

"Well why don't me and you head back to the Castle and have a chat with Twilight after we've eaten, cause I have an idea" he smirks and Rexy agrees that they will have a talk with Twilight. As the day goes on Rexy and Sail have had a great time getting to know eachother. By having a race, testing out their fighting skills and their abilities. Even telling eachother some secrets. They decide to head back and discuss their plan. When they arrive at the castle, it is sunset and they know exactly what to say. As the two dinosaurs enter the room they can see Twilight is busy cleaning the dishes while Thorax is cleaning the sides and smile because they really do make a cute couple.

"Hey guys" Rexy says and the two notice them.

"Hey, how was your time together you two?" Throax asks curious to know how it went. Twilight hopes it went well. They look at eachother and then back at the Changeling and Alicorn.

"Guys we had an amazing time, we got to hunt and tell eachother some amazing stuff. We even became pals too" Sail responds with happiness. Twilight Sparkle places a hoof on her chest and smiles. She hugs them both and they return the hug.

"I'm so happy for you both. I knew you could get along in time. Anyways it's late, you best get some rest." She pulls back and they smile.

"Actually Twilight we want to have a chat with you about something if that's okay." Rexy asks her, she wants to but she still have to finish the kitchen. Thorax holds her.

"Don't worry honey, I'll finish up you go and have a chat okay." She kisses him and they head to another, while Thorax finishes up in the kitchen. In the library Twilight takes a seat and the dinosaurs sit on the floor. She turns the down so it isn't so bright.

"Okay you two, what's the issue?" She asks wanting to know what's going on. Sail decides to start them off.

"Well have you noticed that all our friends aren't hanging out as much as we used to?" Twilight thinks about and did notice that Discord and Indominus haven't had done any roleplay for a while.

"Yeah actually... I mean the raptors haven't been to the Spa with Rarity lately, or how the Cutie Mark Crusaders haven't done any adventures for a while. It seems that everycreature is busy with chores or family." Rexy and Sail sigh in relief from that response.

"Well me and Sail have a way that might help"

"Oh really what would that be?" Rexy looks at Sail and tells him to say it since he came up with the idea in the first place. Sail agrees and explains the plan.

"Well I was thinking we should have a dinner party. Invite all our friends. Have entertainment, food and drinks. That way we can all catch up and be happy together, what do you think?" He asks her with a tone of please in his voice really wanting this to work. Twilight smiles and decides.

"I think that's a wonderful idea. It would be great to catch up with all our amazing friends. I am glad you two came together to talk about this. We'll send invites out tomorrow and the dinner will be tomorrow evening. Agreed?" She asks and the two carnivores mod in agreement, Rexy gets up and wishes them good night and makes out of the castle. Sail heads to bed early ready to get to work tomorrow.

The next morning as the sun raises. Sail wakes up early with a huge yawn and gets ready to set things up. About an hour later Twilight, Thorax and Starlight wake up. They let the kids sleep still til later. And get to work on the invitations. As they do Sail makes a very Special invitation for one of in particular. The other three look at it and then at him and smile. "What?" Sail asks them when he notices their look.

"Is that one by any chance for Sweetie Belle Sail?" Starlight asks teasingly. Sail Blushes when they asks him because they know how he acts whenever he sees her. He shakes his head and places it in the basket. After Breakfast, Sail volunteers to deliver invites while they others work on setting things up. So he he grabs the basket and heads off, Thorax heads upstairs to wakes up Twirax and Alistair. Starlight and Twilight make a planning sheet on how they want it to look. As the day goes by Sail has made his deliveries to Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Indominus, Rexy, Scootaloo and the raptors. He is making his way up to the house of Rarity. When arrives he's hesitant at First. But knocks, when the door opens it is Rarity who answers.

"Sail what a surprise, what can I do for you?" She asks in delight after not seeing him for a few weeks. Sail gives her an purple invite with her cutie mark on it.

"We're having a dinner party tonight as a way for all our friends to catch up after being so busy. Hope you can come?" He asks her hoping that she's not busy. Rarity squeals in excitement.

"Of course I can come Sail. I'll make sure to be there as soon as possible." She's about to close the door when Sail gives another one but has amazing glitter and beautiful design to it. She takes with her magic and looks at it. Sail sweats a little.

"Could you give that one to Sweetie Belle for me please?" Rarity smiles and nods saying she will. They say goodbye and he heads on to deliver he rest. Back at the castle the plan has been made and they making in the dining room by putting a very special table cloth on it. Thorax arrives with the banners for the party. Twirax helps Alistair with box of decorations because it's so heavy.

"This party is going to be a great evening eh?" Starlight asks them. The children are covered in hats and confetti, they laugh at the funny sight.

"Indeed it is, I can't wait to everyone after so long" Thorax replies with happiness, Twilight nuzzles him.

"It's only been a few weeks dear" He Nuzzles back and kisses her cheek.

"I know that, but still it feels like forever. I just hope Sail gets back soon. He can help us with the heavy stuff." Just as he finishes the sentence. The doors open and Sail enters the room with astonishment of how the room is looking already. Twilight asks him if he can get these banners up there and gets to work, they could tell he's really excited for tonight. But mostly to see the one that he saved those months ago, but they decide to save it for later and get back to sorting things out. After 5 hours work they have achieved their taks and the dining room looks absolutely amazing.

"Great job everyone, now let's get ourselves ready off for the party" Suddenly Twilight smells something foul in the room. Starlight and Thorax smell it too, luckily the kids aren't there to experience the smell.... They all turn to Sail and the stench is coming from him, probably from being at that swamp for most of his live. They agree that something must be done about that.

Starlight grabs the chart "Well Sail there's one more thing we need to do." Sail faces and wonders they are all looking at him like that.

"What would that be?" Thorax has a sponge, Starlight grabs the shampoo and Twilight has the bubble bath. Sail's pupils shrink as he realises what they mean.... He slowly backs off and they get closer, he smiles and the next second..... A puff of dust in the shape of him is there and they all see him leaving the room.

"AFFFTER HIIIIIIIIIIM!!"

They chase Sail all round the castle because he doesn't want to have a bath even though he's never had one before. But refuses, but these three won't give up til they have succeeded in their goal. Sail leads them to a hall of doorways and goes into. They stop and don't know which one he went in. Thorax hoofpalms his face and sighs. "I knew there would be a reference like this." Twilight points to one door and they enter, Sail tiptoes into a different one. Starlight backs into Thorax and they scream then goes into two different doors. Twilight sees Sail and enters that door. Sail's head pops out and somehow his tail is in a different door. Then Twilight somehow sees a duplicate of herself til Thorax changes back to himself and winks. Starlight goes into another with Sail behind her, then all three come out without Sail til he comes out and runs past them.

Then he heads upstairs and and hides behind the door, Twilight, Starlight and Thorax enter the room and yet don't see him. He tries to sneak out but Starlight sees him and he screams and runs. An hour later they eventually are out of Breath, while Sail is the ground out of breath.. They see their and try to grab him, but Sail gets up and runs. They crash into eachother, he laughs but isn't looking where he is going and crashes into the wall. "Quick grab the tub" Thorax suggests and they drag it right behind so he falls into it. Finally they have caught him and give the bath, cleaning his sail, claws, teeth and giving a good scrub. "Man when was the last time you had a mint" Starlight asks while brushing his teeth?" Sail looks at her in a way saying never "You know what forget I asked that." He climbs out and shakes the water off like a dog and dries himself with a towel.

"How's that? He asks them and he smells like a field of lovely honeycomb. They all head upstairs to get themselves ready cause their guests will arrive soon. Sail decides to make sure that everything is in place incase something got knocked off during the chase.

(30 mins later)

It's time for their guests to arriving and the first to arrive is none other than Discord and Fluttershy with Fluttershy having her mane done up and Discord wearing a lovely black and white tux he summoned just for the occasion. They greet them and Sail shows them to the room. Next is Applejack, Spike and Applebloom. With them wearing Apple themed dresses and Spike wearing a very charming suit. Followed by Rainbow Dash and Indominus, then Rexy and Scootaloo, The raptors, Pinkie Pie, Indoraptor and Blackjack, finally the one Sail has been waiting for. Sweetie Belle and Rarity. Just for occasion Sweetie Belle is wearing a gorgeous dress that has the colours of her mane. She waves at Sail and he waves back with a slight blush, as they all arrive at the dining room. Everyone has a great time catching up with eachother. Spike sees Twilight and heads over with a glass of punch in his claws. "Hey Twilight. It's been a little while hasn't it?" He asks.

"Indeed it has Spike I was starting to think you forgot about me" She says teasing him Twilight and Spike laugh at the joke and then embrace eachother in a hug. Meanwhile with Rexy, Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash and Indominus.

"So we have an announcement to tell you" Rexy says to the blue Pegasus and hybrid Dinosaur. They are both confused on what it could be.. they're already married. What else could it be.

"Well me and Rexy... Are gonna have a baby!" Scootaloo showing the pregnancy test showing positive. Rainbow and Indominus tear up from the amazing news and embrace their sister and brother in a loving hug. They are so pleased that they're finally gonna have a nephew. Everyone is having a great time, when Twilight taps on a glass with a spoon levitated by her magic, all the guests go quiet.

"Hi everyone I just wanted to say thank you so much for coming tonight. It's great to see all of you again after a few weeks but it felt like forever. In fact we have a certain dinosaur to say thank you for he was the one that suggested this. So we give a round of applause for Sail" Sail smiles and everyone claps for him. Sweetie Belle smiles at him that is so warming. "Now I felt like we could a little song before we get to dinner so would anypony like to sing?" No one says anything because they don't what to sing, til Discord groans and comes up to the stage and grabs a mic. "If we are gonna have a dinner party we might as well have a reference to this film and story, but first I will need some help" He clicks his eagles claws and all of a sudden in a flash a cat with a jacket and a bandage round his tale appears confused to what just happened.

"What in the world of Equestria just happened?" He says then turns and easily recognises his friends. "Why it's a pleasure to see you all again. Mostly you m'lady" He gestures to Rarity and kisses her hoof. Rarity giggles and smiles happy to see him again. Sail approaches and the cat jumps back in shock. "Whoa who is t-that?"

"This is Sail and he is a Spinosaurus and our friend." Rarity replies with a blush from the kiss. Sail waves and cat smiles on how cool he looks.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance Sail, Capper's the name... Charming's my game.." Sail shakes his paw and Capper shakes his claws. "Say I could imagine us being friends.. anyways why am here?"

"Well as a matter of fact I need you to help me with a song if your up to it?" Discord easily replies with a look of impatience on face. Capper nods and with another snap Capper has turned into an antique clock, Discord has turned into a candelabra. "Alright... Indominus.. if you please" Indominus shines the light on Discord and turns the music on.

Then trays of food appear that look amazing.

No one's gloomy or complaining. While the flatware's entertaining

We tell jokes! I do tricks! With my fellow candlesticks!"

Duplications of Discord appear dressed up as Candlesticks.

"And it's all in perfect taste. That you can bet!"

With dessert, she'll want tea. And my dear that's fine with me.

While the cups do their soft-shoein' I'll be bubbling, I'll be brewing.

I'll get warm, piping hot. Heaven's sakes! Is that a spot?

Clean it up! We want the company Impressed!

We've got a lot to do. Is it one lump or two? For you our guest!"

Then a huge sculpture of Canterlot Castle is on stage and Capper comes out with a fancy hat on.

Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest.

Tonight, you'll prop your hooves up. But for now, let's eat up.

Everyone stops and is in a finished position. Everyone in the room claps of how amazing that was and the voices were superb. The guys on stage return to normal and they are exhausted from putting on such a performance. All the members in the room claps and cheer for their friends that are laying on the floor completely tired, Rarity helps Capper get up Pinkie uses her own to tail to get up and Fluttershy gives Discord a hoof and hugs him by surprise. Discord smiles and hugs her back, just then the bells rings and announces it's time to make their way to the dining room. Everypony and creature head their, they decided to invite to Capper as well as a thank you for the song. Which he gladly accepts, Sweetie Belle turns and sees Sail hasn't made his way yet. "Hey Sail, you not gonna join us?" She asks him with a slight frown on her face. He strokes her mane with his claws gently.

"Don't worry Sweetie Belle, I am. Just cleaning up all this magic dust or else it will make everything go crazy." As he finishes the sentence he does a huge sneeze, which causes the unicorn to giggle and laughs as well because it was funny. "I think it's all done now. Let's go and join the others." He puts the broom and and they make their way together with a sweet smiles. At the dining hall they are about to take their seats when Sail pulls out Sweetie Belle's chair and she takes a seat. He sits on the one opposite her, they all chat for a while then Dinner arrives starting off with a delicious vegetable soup for the ponies and Thorax, whiles the dinosaurs have chicken soup, Capper has a fish starter and Discord..... Well you can guess chocolate milk soup. Everyone hears a lot eating sound and they gasp when they Sail eating right from the bowl making a huge mess, he looks up with huge cheeks full of food. Sail swallows and doesn't know what to do.... Starlight points the spoon and shows what to do. He takes the spoon and lowers his head and sticks his tongue out while doing loud noises, Starlight hoofpalms her face. He hears a psst and he looks at Sweetie Belle who has her bowl in her hooves and he grabs his in his claws and they drink it from the bowl. After that scenario, they have some amazing dishes and for Pudding they have many kinds of cakes from chocolate to cupcakes. Once they finish their meals. They clean up and head back to doors and start to take their leaves and thank Twilight, Thorax, Starlight, the kids and Sail for the party and a lovely evening. They notice that Rarity and Capper bid a farewell to eachother before he steps through the portal that Discord summoned for his town, and they see she has a warm smile and a little blush. Sweetie Belle gestures for Sail to lower his head and he does so, what happens surprises him completely when Sweetie Belle joins her lips with his and after a bit he relaxes and returns the kiss. They pull back and have huge red cheeks, then when everyone has left.

They all clear up the dining room to make it back the way it was originally. "That really was a great idea Sail, it was nice to see them all again after a while." Starlight says while putting the chairs away.

"Thanks I thought it would make everyone get the chance to relax after a hard day's work. Sail responds while taking the banners. He yawns suddenly without warning and covers his mouth. Twilight suggests he goes to bed and leave the rest for us. He's hesitant as first, but agrees and says goodnight. When he heads into his room, he brushes his teeth and draws a picture of Sweetie Belle on the mirror from where it steamed up with a heart around her. He freezes and spits out the toothpaste from a sudden question in his head, he gets into bed without saying another word and can't sleep for the next 1 hour. He looks up at the ceiling and asks himself.

"Sweet mother of Celestia, have I..... Fallen in love with Sweetie Belle?" He doesn't know what to do and decides to ask somepony that is completely honest with these types of situations. At last as the moon is shining over Ponyville, Sail is asleep dreaming sweet dreams.
