Twilight's Bizarre Adventure: Tick Tock

"So, what you all think about the party last night?" Rainbow asks after taking a sip of coffee from her cup.

"Y'all sure that Pinkamane isn't just Pinkie Pie with straight hair? Don't know about you all, but I don't feel comfortable around her." Applejack says.

"Well, they do look alike." Twilight says: "But I don't think there's anything wired. When you look closely, she is much taller than Pinkie."

"Yeah, plus we can see her on most of the family photos. No way she's just a Pinkie disguise." Sunset adds.

"I know, but isn't it just wired that she and Pinkie never appear in the same photo?" Applejack asks: "When you look closely, Pinkamane only appears in the older photos and Pinkie only in the new ones. There's not a single photo I saw the two of them together."

"About that, " Rainbow adds: "have any of you ever seen those two together at any given time? Just think about it: she arrived at the house right after we left Pinkie's room, and Pinkie didn't even leave her room until the end, which Pinkamane was, quote and quote, not feeling well!"

"I mean, Pinkie might be sleeping the whole time." Twilight answers: "Plus, you can see the Pie family take turns to check on Pinkie. If this whole thing is just an elaborate joke, then how did Pinkie manage to fool everyone in the house? You know Pinkie can't just still for without making noise unless she's sick."

"I am not trying to say this whole thing is a joke," Applejack says: "but why don't they just get a doctor if Pinkie was that sick?"

"Didn't the doctors sent them home saying something like they need more time to determine what's going on?" Rainbow says.

"Wait," Fluttershy says: "Isn't Pinkie suffering from a serious family condition?"

"Yes, but since there's nothing going, for now, the doctors sent them home." Rainbow answers.

"It just doesn't add up, does it?" Applejack says: "If she weren't suffering anything at school, she definitely was when we met her."

"Applejack, darling, have you ever talked to Pinkamane?" Rarity asks, and Applejack shakes her head: "Oh, that's why. I talked to her, and she said that Pinkie wasn't feeling well that afternoon, so they took her to the doctors. The doctors sent them home and told them to call if something happens."

"I don't know," Applejack says: "This whole story of how Pinkie suddenly gets diagnosed with such a serious disease and was sent home just sounds a little off for me."

"I am pretty sure Pinkie's family is doing their best to take care of her," Twilight says: "don't worry, Applejack, everything is fine."

"Yeah, maybe, I am just..." Applejack buries her head in her arms: "A little out of it."

"This a hard, Applejack, it's okay." Fluttershy puts a hand over Applejack's shoulder: "It's all going to be ok."

"Thank you, sugar cube." Applejack mumbles: "But can't any of us do anything?"

"Maybe I can get more practice and see what I can do?" Sunset shrugs her shoulders: "You know, if I can delay one from getting injured for a couple of minutes, then maybe I can try to delay Pinkie's condition for...I don't know...couple days with some practice?" The crew stays silent, all looking at Sunset.

"No need to push yourself Sunset, " Twilight says: "mastering a stand is hard enough, let alone pushing you boundaries that far. It is practically impossible unless you are confronted with a series of life-threating situations, one next to the other. "

"Hi, I've got an idea," Rainbow finishes her coffee: "You guys know how I can speed up my movements, right? Here's the plan: I hold Pinkie in my arms, and run in circles. And here's the catch: I will run so fast that we will both go back in time."

"Eh..." stunned by this crazy idea, Twilight explains: "Then you need to run faster than the speed of light, which is about 299,792,458 meters per second. Plus, your mass increase as you approach the speed of light. Let's say you really can run that fast; then, your mass will become infinite, and so does the energy required to move that mass."

The whole table quiets down, all staring at Twilight before Applejack finally says something: "Say what now?"

"Long story short," Twilight rolls her eyes: "It's impossible."

"Oh, oh, oh, I have an idea!" Fluttershy waves her hand, drawing everyone's attention: "What about Sunset and Ms. Pinkamane work together?"

Silence falls again before Applejack says something: "Say...WHAT NOW?"

"Here, " Fluttershy takes out her phone and shows it to everyone: "See? The crack is gone, Ms. Pinkamane fixed it for me! Maybe she can't cure disease now, but if Sunset can use her power to manipulate reality somehow, then this can work!"

"Not a bad idea..." Sunset replies, with a hand on her chin: "I mean, I can sometimes teleport and avoid injuries completely, but...um...you know what? Let's do it."

"Alright then," Twilight says, a little worried about her friend's recklessness: "Fluttershy why don't you contact Ms. Pinkamane and tell us what she says?"

"How sweet of you, I am glad Pinkie has friends like you." Pinkamane says: "but I am afraid it will not work."

"WHAT?" Fluttershy shouts, attacking attentions from other tables of this little corner cafe.

"My apologies, sweetheart, but it's impossible to change a stand's ability with another stand. I tried everything possible for the last couple of years: put myself in danger to improve my ability, work with other stand users, none of it works." Pinkamane says as their order is ready.

"Oh," Fluttershy looks down on the floor, eyes empty: "So, there is nothing..."

"There is one thing we can do." Pinkaman says: "If Sunset and I work together, we might be able to go back in time and change everything, and without being erased, of course."

"What?" Fluttershy looks at Pinkamane's face: "Is that possible?"

"Yes, it is. My stand itself can reverse time. Remember how I fixed your screen? I revert it to its' original state. I tried to cure Pinkie and myself, but it will not work. Yes, I can push the whole world back a year, but I would still get that disease no matter what. So here's the plan: if your friend can isolate me from the rest of the world while time is being reversed, I might be able to able go back in time without getting erased. Then, I will be able to stop my ancestors from getting a standability, and therefore break the curse."
