Author's Note

Hey all, ok first thanks for coming back to my story or giving it a chance this far for new readers. So word of warning this might be the worst chapter yet. I plan to fix it and edit it maybe completely rewrite it when I get home but for now, this is what I've got and I felt like it's got enough to tide you readers over till then. Also I'm not sure if this will remain a broken chapter or be rewritten to be one whole chapter instead of parts like I have it set for now. Mostly depends on the feedback I receive from you readers on how, when, and quality of my work comes out. The more positive or constructive comments and feedback I get the more I want to write.

Ch. 5 Fever Dreams, Prt 1

I let out a pained whimper as I curl in on myself trying to get the burning pain to stop spreading from the hole in my armor where that sorry excuse for a thresher turd's tail had managed to break through my armor and scales underneath. I could hear alarms going off again in my helmet telling me I had a suit rupture and was losing health quickly which made me almost deadpan towards the Normandy. But I didn't as the pain was too much and it was only growing worse as I noticed that Fluttershy of all beings was the one to get the rest of the girls to snap out of it to realize I needed medical help ASAP. As the rest of the group hurried over to my prone form I noticed the black creeping around the edges of my vision while I turned my head to see Twilight taking control of the girls. I saw her order AppleJack towards the forest line along with sending Rainbow Dash back towards Ponyville, probably to warn the doctors that I'm coming. Next, I watch as Fluttershy begins to try and remove my armor but having no luck I shakily move my hands to undo the bindings holding my armor to my body. All the while Fluttershy is telling me to not move and trying to give me the stare but finding it not to work. Finally, after what felt like a pain-filled eternity my armor slides off and onto the growing puddle of dirt and blood before I reach up and take my helmet off the pain from this final action sending my vison swimming as the black speeds up on overtaking my vision. Right before I blackout, I manage to say "What pretty ponies....."

(POV Twilight)

I'm frozen in place by both the shock and brutality of the dragoness' weapons that resemble the Equestrian Royal Army's flintlocks just much more advanced if the automatic fire from earlier meant anything. I'm snapped from my inner thoughts by a pained whimper and a call from Fluttershy telling us just how bad our mysterious dragoness was off from that fight with one of the Everfree's top predators. Quickly rushing to the fallen worrier for there was nothing else an armed and armored dragon would be and saw the deep wound from the stinger bleeding profusely. This sight steeled my will and I quickly began to hand out orders to the rest of the girls and Spike, I sent Rainbow Dash back to Ponyville to warn the hospital staff that we're coming with a critically wounded dragoness. Next, I had AppleJack collect some vines and branches to try and create a litter to carry her on, while this was going on I noticed that Fluttershy was trying to remove her armor but being unsuccessful the dragoness whimpered as she undid her armor and removed her helmet letting me get my first look at her muzzle. And she was gorgeous with her brilliant blue reptilian eyes framed in a way to look larger and sultry and her muzzle was feminine in shape but held a strength. She might have bee....... shaking my head I refocus as I watch her eyes roll back and close telling us that she passed out.

Quickly I turn to see Applejack returning with a hastily put together litter that would fit the dragoness long enough to let us get her to the hospital. As AJ and Fluttershy began to get her onto the litter I have Rarity collect her armor and weapons to take them to the library which she does and stays silent having a grasp on how bad the situation was. Finally I looked to my assistant and adoptive brother to see him staring at the dragoness' wound with great concern before I was able to get his attention. "Spike I need you to go with Rarity and send a letter to the Princesses, tell them we found a strange ship in the Everfree after it crashed. We met a heavily armed and armored dragoness before being attacked by a manticore which said dragon battled with automatic firearms before being critically wounded by its venomous tail. Tell them we are taking her to Ponyville General and that I have Rarity moving her weapons and armor to the library so we'll need some guards to guard them." He gave me a sharp little salute before running off with Rarity down the path towards town and as I watched for a moment I saw Rainbow returning to help carry the dragon on the litter.

"Hey, Twi the hospital's ready for the dragoness as soon as we get there but they said to be as fast as possible as she doesn't have much time from what I told them." Rainbow Dash quickly informed me before I pointed to the front end of the litter for her to carry which she quickly picked up with Applejack as we began a quick jog back to town with Fluttershy and Pinkie watching the wounded dragon carefully while I kept my eyes and ears open incase that manticore or some other predator decides to make a meal out of us.

It took us a little over ten minutes to get from the ship to the hospital thanks to Applejack and Rainbow Dash not needing to stop and catch their breath even with how heavy they said the dragoness was. Though when we got there Fluttershy and I were lagging behind a bit with Pinkie a few steps ahead of us with her mane flat to show her worry. AJ and RD quickly bashed through the front doors to the hospital and quickly transferred her to the waiting gurney that the medical staff had ready thanks to me sending RD to warn them. In the blink of an eye, the gurney with the strange blue dragoness along with a good portion of the staff were gone through the double doors to the Operating Room.
