SoarinDash : La Bella Notte

Rainbow Dash was at Boutique Carroussel getting ready for her first date. Soarin had recently asked her out, and of course she was quite surprised by the invitation, no one had ever asked her out before. But at the same time she was excited enough to go on a date with one of the ponies she most admired.

"Come on Rainbow Dash, I need to comb your mane! For Celestia's sake, your hair is full of knots" Rarity said as she tried to comb Rainbow Dash's embarrassed mane as she moaned.

"Urgh Rarity, you don't need this! My mane looks great!" Rainbow Dash said moaning a little

"Rainbow Dash this is your first date, you need to look fabulous! Don't you want to impress that Wonderbolt?" Rarity said, and Rainbow Dash blushed.

"Yes but ... I don't think he will care about it anyway"

"Maybe, but you never know. I'm going to make you fabulous for tonight, and I don't take no for an answer"

"Right..."

It was a few minutes of suffering for Rainbow Dash, she really wasn't used to getting dressed that much. But when it came to romance, Rarity could be very insistent.

"Oh Darling, you are just beautiful!" Rarity said almost crying with her masterpiece

Rainbow Dash was wearing a beautiful sparkling blue and purple dress, she was wearing gold shoes, and purple lightnings earrings.

"I really was ... 20% cooler"

"Soarin will love Darling"

Soarin flew to Ponyville to meet Rainbow Dash at the Carroussel Boutique. He was wearing a blue tuxedo that represented the Wonderbolts, and he had a bouquet of roses in his hooves.

He finally landed in front of Boutique and knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal Rainbow Dash in her beautiful sparkling dress. Soarin was amazed by her beauty, she looked like an angel so beautiful.

"You look beautiful Dash" He said. Dash flushed with his praise.

"Thank you, you don't look so bad either" She said smiling

"I brought these flowers for you, I hope you like them however" Soarin said as he handed the flowers over to Rainbow Dash.

"Thank you, the flowers are really beautiful"

"Ready to go?" Soarin said as he offered Rainbow Dash an arm. She blushed again and picked it up, while the two pegasus flew to a restaurant in Cloudsdale

Rainbow Dash and Soarin landed in front of a private restaurant in Cloudsdale.

"Soarin? Doesn't this place seem a little isolated to you?" Dash asked a little confused

"No, this is a private restaurant here in the neighborhood. Only known ponies and friends of the owner who frequent here. But you like this restaurant, they serve great food here, and they sing great songs while we eat," Soarin said, and Dash nodded. Soarin knocked on the door, and a pony with a French accent opened the door

"Bonne nuit, sir and mademoiselle. Soarin how long without seeing you, and who is the lovely lady?" The pony said looking at Rainbow Dash, who blushed at the end

"Hi Hothead, this is Rainbow Dash. I decided to show her your restaurant today"

"Oh yes, you guys are on a romantic date right?" Rainbow Dash and Soarin blushed and looked away

"Anyway, would you like a table inside or a table outside?" Hothead said

"I think we would really like a table outside ... The night is beautiful today" Rainbow Dash said

Hothead nodded as he led Rainbow Dash and Soarin to a table, which had a great view of Luna's beautiful night.

"Here is our menu, feel free to choose what you want" Hothead said showing the menu to the two pegasus

"Well I think today we're going to want ... Your best spaghetti please" Soarin said

"Okay, I'll bring it in a few minutes" Hothead said as he headed back to the kitchen

Rainbow Dash and Soarin just looked at each other awkwardly. There was a silence between the two ponies, until Rainbow Dash finally decided to break the silence.

"Well ... I'm impressed that you asked me out. I mean, there are many other mares on the team that are much more beautiful than me and .."

"Rainbow Dash do you really think that was the only reason I asked you out? You have been a great friend to me and well ... You saved my life several times, and there are many other things that I admire about you" Dash smiled shyly while looking at the stallion who also smiled at her.

A few minutes later, Hothead finally brought the plate of spaghetti.

"Bon Appetit!" He said as he left

Rainbow Dash and Soarin then started to eat, while Hothead and another garson started singing the song "La Bella Notte" to entertain the two ponies.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin were still eating their meal. without realizing that they were eating the same piece of spaghetti. They continued to eat until they kissed in surprise. They quickly walked away laughing at the situation.

There was a meatball on the plate, so Soarin rolled it with his snout towards Rainbow Dash. Dash smiled and instantly ate the meatball. The night was perfect.

Just after dinner ended Soarin and Rainbow Dash flew into a beautiful green field with several fireflies flying. The fireflies formed a heart around Rainbow Dash and Soarin who started to smile at each other. Soon after the two were lying on a hill watching Luna's beautiful night.

"Soarin I think this was the best date of my life, and the only one of course" Dash said with a giggle at the end

"I'm really glad you liked it, so can we repeat this date again?" Soarin asked timidly. Dash smiled and kissed him on the cheek, Soarin blushed at his touch of surprise.

"Of course, you goof"

They spent a few more minutes watching the night together, until it was time for Rainbow Dash to leave.

"I need to go home, it's getting a little late ..."

"If you want, I'll accompany you"

"I will love extra company, Soarin"

Then the two pegasus flew to Rainbow Dash's home in Ponyville.

"Well, thank you so much for meeting Soarin. I really loved it ..." Dash said, blushing a little

"Me too, I can't wait for a second date" Soarin said, Dash was about to enter the house when suddenly Soarin pulled her in for a quick kiss on the lips. Rainbow Dash was surprised by Soarin's gesture.

"Meetings usually end with a good night kiss, well I'll see you tomorrow at the gym. See you tomorrow Dash" Soarin said as he flew away

Rainbow Dash was still blushing and so she smiled as she looked at Soarin flying across the skies.

"See you tomorrow Soarin"
