“Come in," Starlight said haplessly, not thinking much of it. “Door’s open.”

"I almost summoned Cerberus!? I'm soooo sorry!" Starlight whined, wishing she could find a hole to bury herself in.

"It's quite alright dear," Celestia replied, her voice taking the motherly tone she first used when she entered the bathroom. "Nothing bad happened because of it. Besides, I'm not Equestria's princess anymore. I'm just a simple teacher who was looking to have a good time last night and I ended up having an excellent time instead. "May I open the curtain?" Celestia asked in return.

The second the word left her mouth, Starlight watched the curtain get pulled open enough that only Celestia's face was showing. Taking in her facial expression, Starlight could see that Celestia looked a bit worse for wear herself. Her eyes were bloodshot, she had bags under her eyes, and even with her wavy mane flowing gracefully, a few split ends, along with a slight case of bed hair, was noticeable. She had a neutral expression on her face, and at the same time Starlight noticed her horn was glowing yellow, ready to cast a spell of some kind.

"This may feel weird for a second," Celestia told her calmly as a field of magic started to wrap around the soaked mare’s body.

The serpents were rare and eventually died off, but the spell was kept alive within our memory in case a similar species appeared across Equestria."

"Huh, interesting," Starlight replied, taking in the brief history lesson. "I'm surprised this spell hasn't been recorded in any books I've read."

"There's a good reason for that," Celestia told her, as Starlight couldn't help but notice that Celestia no longer had the fatigued look she once had, signaling that she must have used the spell on herself at the same time she used it on Starlight.

"Care to explain?" Starlight curiously asked.
