Charlie and Luster Dawn have exited the Kirin village and was following the white stream. And despite the previous failure of recruiting the Kirins, Charlie has a great assumption that the griffons will tag along and assist them to defeat the Chinese army but Luster Dawn was uncertain that they would help considering that many griffons have been captured and killed as well. Once Charlie and Luster Dawn have reached the end of the white straight stream, they looked up and saw that it was pointing up in the sky.

"Well, I guess we have to find a way to get up there somehow." Charlie said with a chuckle.

"Easy for you to say you have wings." Luster Dawn told him.

"Oh yeah, I do." Charlie said as he looked at his wings "Okay, how do I- whoa!"

Charlie moved his wings up and down for a few seconds and after a while he flapped harder and he was now hovering in the air.

"Whoa! This is awesome! This reminds me of the battle scene from Fast and Furious Hobbs and Shaw!" Charlie said astonished. But Luster Dawn was irritated.

"Well, how do you expect me to get up there?" She asked.

Charlie then looked at her and began to formulate a plan, he could carry her but he must assume that their weight was the same considering their height. And carrying a girl on his back would be a presumptuous and humiliating experience. After thinking for fifteen seconds, he has came up with a thought for her.

"Say Luster dawn, do you think that you can teleport with the magic you have?"

When Luster Dawn heard this, she immediately blushed in embarrassment because she has totally forgot that she had magic by her side.

"Oh right! Sorry, I totally forgot about that. I'm such an idiot."

"Eh it's alright. You don't have to blame yourself." Charlie assured her. "Now come on, we have no time to waste. We've got a land to save. As well as some negotiations ahead of us." He finished. After that, he began to fly upwards like a helicopter. And Luster Dawn activated her horn and teleported away with her magic.

Charlie has made it at the entrance of the griffonstone cloudsdale. And what he saw startled him because there were debris everywhere, broken and burning homes, blood stains on the walls as well as some bullet shells some were long and some were short. Then Luster Dawn teleported next to Charlie, but unexpectedly, she was holding his hoof, and the exertion has caused them to look at each other, and Luster Dawn had a huge blush on her cheeks but except for Charlie.

"Should we traverse the quiet and wrecked town?" Charlie asked with a small drop of sweat.

"Uh... uh... yeah, we should." Luster Dawn said with a nod. After that, she immediately let go of Charlie's hoof and proceeded with the obligation ahead of them.

Charlie and Luster Dawn began to initiate their task on finding any survivors residing or hiding here. They looked through some houses but to Charlie, they were bird nests. Most of the houses have burned to ashes and had bodies in the debris which petrified Luster Dawn. Charlie then activated his goggle scanners and scanned some houses made of nests, but every time he scanned one, no one was inside, just some blood stains, bodies, fires and bullet shells from some sniper rifles and a gatling gun.

"Did you manage find anything with that weird thing of yours?" Luster Dawn asked.

"Nope." Charlie said with a shake of his head "I did not manage to find even a single civilian hiding or residing here. Just some blood stains, bodies, fires and bullet shells, some are probably from a sniper rifle or a gatling gun which is kind of perplexing because, we humans can't fly." He finished with a disorientate expression.

"I can see why, because none of you have wings."

"Exactly." Charlie said with a nod "Anyways, do you think we should go somewhere else?" He asked.

Luster Dawn looked around the town for another moment and saw that there were indeed no griffons here. Some of them must have been killed or arrested by the aliens

"I guess we should." Luster Dawn said with a shrug "We have been searching for ten minutes now."

"Alrighty then. Let's go to the-"

Just as Charlie turned around, he saw a dark eagle with a body of a lion standing in front of him and Luster Dawn and it looks like it has gone through some rough and terrifying times. It had scratches on it's whole body, it was bleeding from his beak and head, and it's tail was messed up.

"What are you looking at Char- whoa!" Luster Dawn said startled by the griffons mysterious appearance. Then it began speaking.

"Wh-what are y-you two ponies doing here?" The griffon asked trembling in her sentence.

Charlie was going to reply to the female griffon's question but he was stopped twelve more approached them wielding spears and knives and all of them were bleeding and have scratch marks on their bodies. Then a white griffon with a brown lion body walked in front of the crowd and starred menacingly towards Charlie and Luster Dawn, and Luster Dawn swallowed a lump and his behind Charlie. Then the white griffon began talking.

"Ponies, my name is Gilda and why are you two in our town?" She asked.

"Oh um... well nice to meet you miss Gilda, my name is Charlie Lam, I'm a human from Australia." He introduced himself with a bow.

Luster Dawn slowly walked next to Charlie and began to introduce herself to the thirteen griffons as well.

"And my name is Luster Dawn."

"Okay Charlie Lam and Luster Dawn. What are you two here for?"

"Well, uh... we just want to require you and many other creatures assistance to negotiate amd fight the Chinese army and to take your land back that's all." Charlie told them, and all of the griffons got baffled.

"Um, pardon me but... what is a Chinese army?" A make green coloured griffon asked.

"Well, they were the ones who invaded imprisoned you all, but rest assured if we all work together we can-"

"Wait, you mean these Chinese army things were the invaders?!" Gilda yelled in a tumoultous voice which made Luster Dawn flinch except for Charlie.

"Yes, you are correct. And I am one of their kind actually. But still, we really need your assistance in defeating them." Charlie pleaded.

"NO! OUR LEADER WAS SLAUGHTERED BY THEIR STRANGE SHINY WEAPONS AND THEIR FLYING METAL MACHINES! THEY KILLED AND ARRESTED US WITH NO SIGNS OF MERCY! AND THEY ALSO CAPTURED MANY OF OUR YOUNGS!" She yelled.

Charlie tried to calm the over stressed griffon down.

"Look miss Gilda, you just need to calm down, take a deep breath and listen to us."

"NO! NOT ANYMORE, WE WILL NOT FALL FOR ANY OF YOUR KINDS SICK AND WICKED TRICKS!" She yelled. After that, Gilda looked at the twleve griffons behind her.

"Throw your spears at them and make them pay!"

The griffons nodded and swung their claws back which made Luster Dawn's eyes widen.

"Uh oh." Said Charlie.

Then the griffons threw their spears in the air. They flew up for a bit then began to rain down at them in a high speed. Luster Dawn then activated her horn and stood near Charlie.

"Time to teleport out of here!" Luster Dawn said. Then they have successfully escaped the griffonstone cloudsdale in the nick of time before the spears could bayonet them.

Back on the ground, Luster Dawn and Charlie Lam were teleported on the soft grass again. And Luster Dawn had an extremely irked expression.

"Auugggh! Why is everypony so stressed because of this situation!" Luster Dawn yelled in anger.

"Can't blame them, because the condition in your land is very petrifying right now." Charlie told her with a chuckle.

Luster Dawn groaned from Charlie's remark.

"So, where do you think we should go next?" Charlie asked her.

Luster Dawn thought for a moment whether they should go to the dragon land or the changeling kingdom, both are far and close to each other. After ten seconds, she has made up her decision.

"I guess we can go to the changeling kingdom. It is pretty far but, the King is very kind and friendly." She said.

"Okay, the changeling kingdom it is." Charlie said as he looked at the gems "Okay, so it must be the green gem here." He said as he pressed the green gem. Then a long green stream was shot out of it and it pointed straight through a forest.

"Come on Luster Dawn, let's go." Charlie said.

"Okay." Luster Dawn said with a smile.

Then the two began to follow the green stream to the Changeling kingdom to see the King and to convince him to help them to negotiate with the Chinese army along with some of his remaining kind.

Back in the military headquarters in Canterlot. Lieutenant General Jin was in the medical room looking at the three fallen S.W.A.T units. Chan Wen Cheng and Lee Zi Xin were lying on hospital beds while being treated by the medics and the unharmed one Lam Xie Li was sitting on a chair with a petrified expression.

"Lam Xie Li, nín néng miáoshù yīxià nín hé tuánduì zhíxíng rènwù shí fāshēng de qíngkuàng ma? (Lam Xie Li, can you delineate what happened during you and your team's mission?)" Jin asked him.

When Lam heard the Liuetenant General calling him, he immediately stood up and looked at him.

"Hǎo ba, ń, zhè jiùshì rènwù qíjiān fāshēng de shìqíng. (Well, um, this is what happened during the mission.)" He said, then he began to elaborate what had happened "Dāng wǒ hé wǒ de tuánduì zài qílín cūn zhōng xúnzhǎo shèntòu zhě chálǐ·lín (Charlie Lam) hé táotuō de táowáng zhě lú sī tè·límíng (Luster Dawn) shí. Xǔduō shǒuchí cháng máo de qílín zài guànmù cóng zhōng túrán chūxiàn zài wǒmen shēnhòu. Ránhòu tāmen bǎ guànmù cóng rēngle chūqù, chú zhōngwèi hé zhōng shì yǐwài, wǒ de bāokuò wǒ shàngwèi zài nèi de sān gè tóngshì dōu bèi shāle. Zài tāmen shòudào gōngjí zhīhòu, shèntòu zhě chálǐ·lín (Charlie Lam) yǔ qiúfàn lú sī tè·límíng (Luster Dawn) zǒuxiàng wǒmen. Lìng wǒmen jīngyà de shì, chálǐ·lín biàn chéngle xiàng mù guāng shǎnshǎn gōngzhǔ yīyàng de dú jiǎo shòu, tā huì shuō zhōngwén. (When me and my team were searching for the infiltrator Charlie Lam and the escaped fugitive Luster Dawn in the Kirin village. Many of the Kirins armed with spears popped up behind us in the bushes. They then threw the bushes and three of my colleagues including my captain were killed except for the Lieutenant and Sergeant. After their assault, the infiltrator Charlie Lam walked up to us with the prisoner Luster Dawn. And to our surprise, Charlie Lam was turned into an alicorn like Princess Twilight Sparkle, and he could speak Chinese.)"

When Jin heard the information that Lam told him, he was mad at first, but he was astonished by the teenagers field and transformation. He then told Lam to rest in his dorm. Lam nodded and exited the medical room and headed to his and many others dorm room.

After that, Jin looked at Zhou Chang Min a military captain. He was also one of the General's top soldiers, he mastered many martial arts training core program as well as some long range shooting trainings. But he is more proficient with firearms like pistols and assault rifles. When Zhou saw the Lieutenant General looking at him, he immediately stood up straight and saluted.

"Sir!" He yelled.

"Zhou Chang Min, wǒ xiǎng wèn nǐ yīgè hěn jiǎndān de rènwù, yīnwèi nǐ shì jūnduì zhōng zuì língqiǎo dí shìbīng zhī yī. (I have a very simple task I would like to ask you to do since you are one of the most dexterous soldier in the military.)" He said.

"Wǒ jiāng jiēshòu jīn zhōng jiàng de rènwù! (I will accept the task Lieutenant General Jin!)" Zhou said with a salute.

"Hǎo, xiànzài wǒ xiǎng ràng nín zhuīzōng àodàlìyǎ de shèntòu zhě chálǐ·lín hé tōngjī de táofàn lú sī tè·límíng. (Good, now I want you to track down the Australian infiltrator Charlie Lam, and the wanted fugitive Luster Dawn.)" Jin said. Then he pulled out an IPad sized tracking device from his pocket. After that, he tossed it to him and Zhou caught it with his right hand. He looked down at it and saw a small blue indicator and a large red indicator. And they read.

Zhou looked at Lieutenant General Jin and said "Nǐ kěyǐ zhǐwàng wǒ jīn zhōng jiàng. Jiù xiàng wǒ de péixùn yīyàng jiǎndān. Méiyǒu shé me néng zǔzhǐ wǒ. (You can count on me Lieutenant General Jin. Just as easy like the trainings I had. And nothing stops me.)"

"Wǒ xǐhuān nǐ de jīngshén, xiànzài jiù qù shíxiàn tā. (I like your spirit, now get to it.)"

"Shì, zhǎngguān! (Sir yes sir!)" Zhou said as he saluted.

After that, he exited the medical room and ran to the parking lot in the renovated garden.

Once he has made it to the parking lot, he jumped on a police motorcycle. He tucked the key in the ignition and it started to rev up, he then gripped onto the handle bars and twisted the right one. And the Zhou began to drive off to Charlie Lam and Luster Dawn's location by following the red and blue indicator on the tracking device.
