70cm away from the castle entrance. Charlie Lam and Luster Dawn both have successfully made it behind the large pile of rocks without the two soldiers guarding the entrance noticing them. And they were very lucky because Luster Dawn made a small noise on the way hear but, the noise was quite inaudible that the soldiers didn't hear it.

"Alright, we have arrived." Charlie said.

"Finally, I actually thought that we were dead when I accidentally stepped on the twig." Luster Dawn chuckled.

"Yeah I know." Charlie chuckled back "But it is a coincidence that the two soldiers didn't hear it." He said. And Luster Dawn giggled from his reply.

"So, what is this 'something' you said and saw?" Luster Dawn asked.

Charlie replied by pointing downwards which perplexed Luster Dawn. She then looked down and saw some wooden planks leading underground.

"Whoa, what is this?" She asked.

"There is probably a secret entrance under these planks." Charlie told her.

"Secret entrance?" Luster Dawn asked with a bewildered expression "You mean that this unknown path under these planks leads to Canterlot?" She asked again.

"Let's see." Charlie replied with a shrug.

After that, Charlie slowly pushed one of the planks forward to prevent being heard by the two Chinese soldiers. After five seconds, a small spot was seen through three planks. Charlie looked through one of the small holes and saw that it was a sewer passage.

"It's a sewer passage." Charlie said.

When Luster Dawn heard that, she showed an expression of disgust towards Charlie.

"A sewer passage?" She asked.

"Yes." Charlie replied with a nod "And this passage probably leads to Canterlot. So I would counsel us to sneak into Canterlot with the sewer passage that way none of the Chinese soldiers or riot police units can see us." He said.

Luster Dawn was a bit uncomfortable with the plan.

"I'm sorry Charlie but, I don't like sewers."

When Charlie heard this. He was indignant at first, but then, he stuffed that aside and tried to confront her, but the sounds of guns cocking stopped him. Charlie peeked his head out of the pile of rocks and saw the two soldiers entering Canterlot probably because of an obligation. And they have left their regular duties behind. And this was the perfect chance for him and Luster Dawn to sneak into the capital with the sewer passage. Then, he looked back at her and began to report.

"Luster Dawn, the two soldiers are gone." Charlie told her with a smile "Now's our good chance to sneak in through the sewers." He said. But Luster Dawn shook her head.

"No!" Luster Dawn refused "I do not want to get dirty in the sewers. And there is no way that you can make me-"

Luster Dawn wasn't able to finish her sentence when one of the wooden planks broke making her fall into the sewers.

"Ahhh! Ooof!" Luster Dawn grunted.

"Luster Dawn!" Charlie said with an anxious expression, then he looked down "Are you okay down there?" He asked.

There were a few moments of silence then a reply.

"Uggh! Charlie, this sewer is stinky like a rotten food!" Luster Dawn complained.

Charlie let out a sigh of relief when he heard Luster Dawn's voice. Then, he began to ask her some inquiries he has about the sewers.

"What do you see down there?" Charlie asked. And his voice echoed through.

There were another few moments of silence, then a reply.

"Well, I see some walls, smelly sewer waters, mouse's that startled me, and some tunnels that probably leads to Canterlot." She replied.

When Charlie heard the information. He immediately smiled when he heard her talking about the sewer tunnels leading to Canterlot.

"Okay, I'm coming down right now!" Charlie told her.

He then spread his wing and jumped into the hole where Luster Dawn fell through into the sewers. And thanks to his wings, he managed to hover his way down like having a parachute.

Once Charlie has stepped hoof in the sewers, he first saw Luster Dawn next to him with an enraged expression.

"I need to take a long bath after this." Luster Dawn said irked.

"Fair enough." Charlie said with a chuckle.

After that, he observed the sewers and saw rusty walls. Smelly pipes and sewer waters and a squeaking noise from a mouse which made Luster Dawn jump. He then looked in front of him and saw three sewer tunnels leading straight into Canterlot. He pulled out his flashlight from his back pack and pushed the switch forward, then light shined forward around the sewers. Charlie then shined the light forward and the sewer tunnels were illuminated by the light a little.

Charlie then walked forward with Luster Dawn following behind him. Once they have reached the three tunnels, Charlie looked at Luster Dawn and asked "Which tunnel should we go in first?"

Luster Dawn looked at the three tunnels and began to decide. The three tunnels are indeed very unhygienic obviously. But they are also gonna be very spine-chilling to go through because you will never know what is at the other side, well except for the more feasible work with Charlie's flashlight. After ten more seconds, Luster Dawn has made her decision.

"Let's go in the left one." Luster Dawn said with confidence.

"I love your confidence."

Luster Dawn blushed and said "Why thank you."

"Your welcome, now come on let's go we have no time to waste." Charlie said as he walked through the left tunnel. And Luster Dawn followed up behind him.

While in the sewers. Charlie and Luster Dawn encountered some smelly sewer water which nearly made Luster Dawn throw up. And squeaking mouse that made Luster Dawn jump.

After walking for five minutes, Charlie shined his flashlight upwards and saw something.

"Wait stop." Charlie said as he raised his hoof. And Luster Dawn immediately stopped when she saw his hoof.

"What is it Charlie?"

"Look up."

Luster Dawn looked up and saw a round sewer cover sbove them. The cover must lead to the inside of Twilight's castle or out in the open field.

"A sewer cover." Luster Dawn said surprised.

"Indeed, this must lead to the inside." Charlie said. Then he came up with a plan and looked at her.

"Luster Dawn, I'll stand under the sewer cover and I'll boost you up." He told her, and Luster Dawn replied with a nod.

Charlie then walked under the sewer cover's area and bent down. Then Luster Dawn walked up to Charlie and climbed onto his back. After that, she carefully stood up and maintained her balance and gripped onto the sewer cover with hooves. And finally, she twisted it and the sewer cover was removed. Then she threw it on the floor.

"Sewer cover has been successfully removed Charlie." Luster Dawn told him.

"Great." Charlie said with a smile. "Now climb up." He told her.

Luster Dawn nodded and extended her hooves upwards and gripped onto what looks to be brick floors. She then climbed up and saw that she was in the dungeon of Princess Twilight's castle.

Charlie then spread his wings and hovered upwards through the sewer cover and into a room. Charlie observed it for a moment and saw that they were in a prison of some sort considering the titanium doors.

"Whoa, is this a prison?" Charlie asked.

"Yes, but a dungeon to be precise." Luster Dawn replied.

"The Chinese have seriously renovated Twilight Sparkle's castle eh?"

"Yeah." Luster Dawn said while looking at him.

"Sorry about that, anyways we should do a quick sweep around the dungeon to see if anyone is here." Charlie recommended.

"I don't know because many of the ponies, yaks, Changelings, Griffons and Dragons are all being enslaved right now outside but, it wouldn't hurt to see." Luster Dawn said with a shrug.

"Exactly." Charlie agreed with a nod "Now let's commence the search." He told her.

Luster Dawn nodded and they both began to walk in the dungeon hallway without hesitation or signs of anxiety. They both looked through some small windows on cell doors and saw that most of them were empty.

"It looks like there is nopony in here. The humans must've brought all of them outside." Luster Dawn told Charlie.

"Just keep looking. Because I doubt there is still someone held in here." Charlie told her and Luster Dawn replied with a shrug.

When the reached halfway in the hall of the dungeon, they heard some groaning noises coming from a room on their right which was closed by a wooden door locked in chains.

"Is somepony in there?" Luster Dawn asked.

"I think so." Charlie said as he got pressed his ear in the door and there was indeed someone in the room.

"There is someone in there." Charlie said. He then took off his backpack and placed it on the floor in front of him. Then, he pulled out a 450mm bolt cutter from it.

After that, he gripped onto it with it's mouth and began to squeeze the handles in an incredible strength which amazed Luster Dawn. After ten seconds, the wires were cut broken and fell on the floor.

Charlie then tucked the bolt cutter back into his backpack and wore it again.

He then pressed his right hoof onto the door and pushed slowly pushed it open. After that, he immediately turned on his flashlight and illuminated the small room. And what they saw traumatized them because there were four ponies, three dragons and one yak cuffed in the room in metal chains. And all of them had contusions all over their bodies, faces, legs and back. And they were also bleeding from their faces and chests.

"Oh my goodness." Luster Dawn said with covering her muzzle in shock.

Charlie then stepped hoof into the room and observed the creatures and saw that none of them were conscious so he must assume that they were all killed. But then, a coughing sound was heard.

Charlie turned around and saw a female grey coloured dragon with a bloody face regaining her consciousness. He then walked up to her and bent down to check on her condition and ask her some questions.

"Hey hey, are you okay?" Charlie asked.

The grey dragon groaned for a moment then looked in front of her and saw a white male alicorn.

"Wh-who are you?"

"My name is Charlie Lam. And I am here to assist you, can you tell me what is going on?" He asked.

Then mysteriously, the grey dragon began to panic.

"Y-you have to get out of here mister Charlie." She told him desperately which made him perplexed.

"Why? What happened to you?" He asked.

"I- me and many of my friends were brutally beaten in this cell by the invaders because we made some small mistakes. And I-I overheard their leader saying something-"

Charlie's eyes widened when he heard her information.

"What did the leader say? And how can we get to his office?" He asked.

But then, the dragon began to loose her concioussness because of her wounds. Then, she closed her eyes.

"Hey! Hey!" Charlie said. He then pressed his right hoof on her carotid pulse and saw that it was not pumping so he must assume that she is dead.

"She's gone." Charlie sighed quietly as he stood up "She said something about the military's leader, so what I would counsel us to do first is-"

Charlie wasn't able to finish his sentence when he heard Luster Dawn muffling a scream.

When Charlie heard Luster Dawn's muffle. He turned around and saw that she was being grabbed by a Chinese soldier. Charlie tried to help but then, he felt a sharp pain behind his neck. He turned around and saw that he got shot in the neck by a tranquilizer dart. He tried to go forward and help Luster Dawn but, he lost his conciousness and fell on the floor sleeping.

"Charlie!" Luster Dawn muffled in fear. Then, the soldier grabbing her punched her in the back of her head, and the force of his punch made her fall on the floor unconscious.

"Lín shàngxiào, wǒmen gāi zěnme bàn? (Colonel Lin, what should we do with them?)" The soldier asked his superior.

"Nǐ zěnme kàn? Gěi tāmen yīgè shūshì de jiǔdiàn fángjiān zhù ma? (What do you think? Give them a comfortable hotel room to stay in?)" He asked. And the soldier shook his head "Dāngrán bùshì, wǒmen xūyào dài tāmen dào jīn zhōng jiàng bàngōngshì jìnxíng xùnwèn. Ràng tā juédìng tāmen de fǎnxiǎng. Xiànzài, nín jiāng xiédài táofàn Lustre Dawn, ér wǒ jiāng xiédài shèntòu zhě Charlie Lam. (Of course not, we need to bring them to Lieutenant General Jin's office for an interrogation. And let him decide what their repercussion will be. Now you'll carry the fugitive Luster Dawn, and I'll carry the infiltrator Charlie Lam.)" Lin ordered.

The soldier in front of him nodded and bent down and picked up Luster Dawn and held her on his shoulder.

Colonel Lin cuffed Charlie and began to carry him to Lieutenant General Jin's office.

Phew! Two chapters in one day! I hope you all enjoyed this one as well! And I apologize if some of them were unclear because, I didn't have that much ideas for it.
