Everfree forest

In the Everfree forest near Ponyville, a bright glow was seen near the trees. After five seconds, the glow faded away and Charlie was seen sitting on the grass with a pained expression.

"Oh, my head, my legs, my everything." Charlie groaned, he took a quick observation around him and saw that he was in a forest considering the trees and grass he was lying on.

He slowly placed his hands on the soft grass and pushed himself up on his feet and staggered a little, but he managed to keep his balance.

"Okay, where am I?" Charlie asked himself as he grabbed his high tech safety glasses. Once he wore them, his goggles began to scan the area. He looked in front of him and saw a giant gate.

"Whoa, what is this place?" Charlie said with wide eyes. After that, he began to approach the large gate. And once he got there, Charlie saw a devastated town which traumatized him.

"Oh my what happened here?" Charlie asked, he then stepped forward to get a better look at it but his goggles detected a hazard and warned him by showing a hazard symbol on his goggles with words saying 'Hazard detected'.

When Charlie heard the warning, he clicked on a button on his goggles and it showed him a transparent image of three chinese soldiers and one police officer armed wirh guns walking around the area as if they were looking for something or someone.

"Oh my, they must've preoccupied the town." Charlie assumed with a shocked expression "I wonder if there are any survivors here." Charlie said as he pulled up the left side of his science coat and pulled out a small blue coloured drone. He tapped a button on it and the drones four propellers began to rotate slowly, after ten seconds, the tiny propellers on the small drone began to rotate hastily and it lifted off up in the air, them it flew on the air near Charlie and awaited for his command.

"Drone three, scrutinize the town." Charlie told it.

The drone immediately flew up higher in the air and flew into the town to prevent being spotted by the soldiers and single police officer.

Charlie then clicked on a third button on the top left side of his goggles and he got a visual of what the drone is seeing and the view traumatized him because the drone was flying through a burning town with broken buildings which looks like they were going to collapse. The drone then scanned the area for any civilization but every time it detected nothing, it made a beeping noise.

Charlie was about to give up and tell the drone to return to him but then, his goggles gave him some words and it said 'Civilization detected'.

Charlie's eyes widened when he noticed the word, he then looked at his drone's visual again and saw that it was showing him a house made of biscuits and sweets which perplexed Charlie. Then he commanded his drone again.

"Activate X-Ray scanning mode." Charlie ordered.

The drone obeyed Charlie's order and activated X-Ray mode. After that, Charlie saw what looks to be like twelve ponies and one tall winged creature, and one of the ponies was a lot taller than the other ones and was almost the same height as the unknown winged creature.

"Return to me." Charlie ordered the drone.

The drone obeyed Charlie and deactivated X-Ray mode and flew back to Charlie.

Once the drone arrived back to it's owner, Charlie pulled up his coat's left side and the small drone slowly flew back to it's attachment area between two others.

"Gotta find a way there." Charlie said to himself.

After that, Charlie raised his left arm and tapped on his wrist computer.

"Give me a route to the snack house the drone reviewed." Charlie said.

The wrist computer obeyed Charlie and a large transparent screen was shown in front of him. Then, the wrist computer showed him a quick route to the snack house with a long red arrow. Then the arrow was shown

"Technology is awesome." Charlie said quietly as the transparent screen on his wrist computer disappeared.

After that, he entered the town's entrance and through a sign that said.

Welcome to Ponyville
The happiest town in Equestria
Population: 1000

"So that's what the town is called." Charlie said to himself. But then, he shook the irrelevant subject out of his head and followed the red arrow indicating on his goggles.

Charlie ran through burning and collapsed houses in the town including some toppled trees and demolished restaurants which was a very petrifying view.

"Oh my, the Chinese have legitimately obliterated this town." Charlie said while following the indicator and looking around the area.

Charlie was halfway to the location of the civilians when suddenly, his goggles gave out a warning.

/!\'PROXIMITY ALERT!' /!\

Charlie was disorientate at first when he saw his goggles giving him a warning because there was no one here. But then, his eyes widened when he saw his goggles telling him that the Chinese police officer was coming towards his location. He then looked at his left and saw an alleyway for him to hide in. He rushed into it and hid behind a large garbage bin. He slowly and cautiously poked his head out and saw a black suited male police officer. He had a hat on him, he was wearing dark pants and has a pistol on his holster.

"Why is he here?" Charlie asked himself quietly.

Charlie was about to move forward to another hiding place but suddenly, he accidentally tipped over a cardbox which drew the police officer's attention. Charlie then hid back in the garbage bin while sweating anxiously.

The police officer pulled out his gun and aimed in the alleyway.

"Shéi zài zhè'er? (Who's here?)" The police officer asked observing his surroundings with his gun pointed in front.

"Uh oh..." Charlie thought while sweating in agitation.

The police officer was getting very close to Charlie's hiding spot which made his heart rate accelerate quickly.

The police officer was closing in near the garbage bin but then his walkie talkie sounded off.

"Zhāng jǐngguān bàogào nín dí dàng qián zhuàngtài. (Officer Cheung report your current status.)"

When Cheung heard someone is calling him from his radio, he immediately turned around, walked back and stood at the exit of the alleyway.

"Zhāng jūnguān bàogào jīn zhōng jiàng. (Officer Cheung reporting Lieutenant General Jin.)"

Charlie poked his head out cautiously from his hiding spot and saw that the police officer was talking with his radio which made him sigh in relief.

"Phew, that was a close one." Charlie thought with a relieved sigh. He then scrutinized the officer to see if he had any dandy equipments on him. After observing him for ten seconds, he thought that the nightstick baton and pistol would be dandy for him.

"Alright, time for a stealth attack." Charlie said to himself quietly. Then he began to slowly approach the police officer.

He tip toed and made some inaudible footsteps. And once he got close, he jumped upwards and wrapped his hands around the officers neck and dragged him downwards and the force of his drag made the officer drop his walkie talkie and muffle.

"Mhhh! Mhhh! Mhhh..."

Then the police officer was out cold.

"I can't believe that worked." Charlie said with a surprised expression.

After that, Charlie pulled out the police officer's nightstick baton and pistol. Then, he took off his firearms belt.

"Alright, time to remove my belt and replace it with the firearms one." Charlie said to himself as he took off his belt and threw it on the ground. After that, he wrapped the firearms belt around his pants belt loop. And finally, he tucked the pistol in the holster and nightstick in the baton holder.

"Now I look like Vin Diesel." Charlie said with a smile. After that, he clicked on the button on his safety goggles and it revealed the red arrow route again.

"Alright, time to proceed." Charlie said as he ran out of the alleyway and proceeded to the snack house.

While running, Charlie has encountered a hazard again in front of him. He hid behind a house and looked and saw three Chinese soldiers armed with assault rifles apprehending three terrified ponies.

"Dàibǔ tāmen, ránhòu dài tāmen dào chéngbǎo zhōng jiàng de bàngōngshì! (Arrest them and take them to the Lieutenant General's office in the castle!)" One of the soldiers ordered.

"Luō jié nàgè zhōng shì! (Roger that sergeant!)" The two soldiers said with salutes. After that, the two Chinese soldiers brought out metal cuffs from their belts. Then, they lifted the ponies up and cuffed their hooves, and finally the three soldiers dragged the three struggling ponies to the castle.

"Oh man, this is getting worse." Charlie said. He then slightly tilted his head to the right and saw the snack house that the drone showed him, then his goggle scanner gave him two words saying 'DESTINATION REACHED'

"So this is the place?" Charlie said while surveying the house made of snacks "This looks like a child's dream, but I can abide with it because I did go very deranged for candy once when I was six years old which was quite humiliating." He finished with a roll of his eyes.

After that, Charlie slowly approached the front door of the snack house and knocked on the door.

"Hello? Anyone home?" Charlie asked. At first he didn't pick up a noise but then, he got the noise of quiet panicking from the inside.

Charlie then flipped open a small pocket in his right side of his science coat and pulled out a small contraption he named the 'feasible door opening laser' he then stuck his tiny circle gadget on the centre of the door, and finally he pressed a small button on the middle of it. Then the small gadget shot out two long metal rods out, and it began to circle around the door leaving a trail of red laser behind. After making a single loop, the gadget came to a stop in a six O' Clock position. The metal rods then automatically tucked back inside the small metal circle and the gadget was turned off. Charlie then pulled his gadget away form the door and tucked it back in one of his pockets in his coat.

"It's a good thing I went to technology conventions with my family." Charlie said with a grateful smile.

Once the step was accomplished. Charlie pressed his right foot on the circle area of the door and began to kick it down. After four attempts, the faulty circle area of the door dropped onto the floor inside the house making a 'bang' noise in the process. Charlie then began to perusal the room and saw that it was very dark.

"Why is it so dark in here?" Charlie said as he stepped inside the house. But when he looked to at his left, he saw a very convenient light switch.

"Huh, what a coincidence." Charlie said with a surprise expression. Then, he reached out for the light switch with his right hand and flipped it upwards, then the room's light was turned on.

Once it was on, Charlie was first met with a battle cry noise in front of him.

"Yaaahhhhh!"

Charlie looked in front of him and saw a giant purple dragon charging towards him with it's right arm swung back.

"Whoa!" Charlie said as he front kicked the dragon on the chest. And the force of the kick made the dragon stagger backwards while holding it's chest in pain.

Charlie looked behind the dragon and saw many ponies starting at him with petrified expressions, none of them knowing what he will do. And when Charlie noticed all of the looks he is receiving, he was a little anxious, but he didn't even attempted to reach for the pistol in the holster.

"Ahh! An invader!" The pink coloured female pony yelled.

"Somepony make this horrible white suited ruffian leave!" A female white unicorn yelled.

"It can speak Equestrian!" A yellow coloured pegasus screamed.

"Whoa whoa easy there everyone." Charlie tried to calm all of them down.

"Every what?" A blue coloured pony with wings asked.

Charlie tried to intervene again but a sight stopped him. He looked in front of him and saw a large and unique purple pony with a unicorn horn on it's forehead, two wings on the side of it's body and it had a purple effect on it's mane and hair and Charlie must assume that the pony was a female considering the colour and facial expression. And it looks like it was bleeding from her chest.

"Is she alright?" Charlie asked them.

Then the dragon and eleven ponies looked at Twilight Sparkle and saw that her condition was worsening.

"Oh no, Twilight's condition it getting worse." A light purple pony said with a worried expression.

"I think I have enough adroit medical experiences to fix this." Charlie thought.

Charlie then began to slowly and casually approach the large purple pony.

When Twilight's friends saw the invader approaching Twilight, they began to defend her.

"Hey hey easy there, I'm not here to hurt any of you." Charlie told them softly. "I just want to help."

Twilight's friends were surprised by the invader's polite tone. But they don't know if they should believe him or not but Twilight's life was worth it, so they had no other choice but to mive out of the invader's way. Charlie smiled and walked up to the bleeding Princess, he bent down and scanned her wound with his goggles. He then detected a long sniper rifle bullet stuck inside her chest.

"Whoa, looks like a sniper rifle bullet." Charlie said quietly as he pulled out a tweezer from his pocket.

"Um... what was that again?" Twilight asked the invader but it disregarded her and continued to focus to the bullet wound.

Charlie then stuck the tweezer inside Twilight's chest which made her scream in agony.

"Calm down miss, I almost have the bullet." Charlie told her. After two more attempts, he managed to grab onto the bullet, then he slowly pulled it out and after three seconds, the bullet was successfully removed from her.

"Gotcha!" Charlie said with a proud smile. After that, he threw the tweezers and bullet away.

Charlie then pulled out a tall first aid spray from one of his deep pockets in his coat. He then twist opened the lid and aimed the nozzle at her chest wound, after that, he pressed the button on the spray and green and cold liquid were sprayed onto her which made Twilight grit her teeth, after three seconds, Twilight's wound disappeared.

"There we go, all healed up." Charlie said as he tucked his first aid spray back into his belt.

Twilight looked down on her wound and saw that it disappeared. She then looked up at the invader with a grateful smile.

"Thank you." She said.

"You are very welcome."

"You are not like the rest of them are you?" She asked.

"No." He replied with a shake of his head "And I'm not where their from, I'm from Australia while they are from China." He told them.

Twilight was going to ask the invader some more questions but then, she sensed something in him. It was power, power stronger than discord and her, and this power could defeat the invaders occupying her castle and subjects.

"You have power in you." Twilight said quietly with wide eyes.

"Pardon?"

Twilight replied by activating her horn which caught Charlie off guard. Then she pulled out a golden talisman, but to Charlie it was a large golden necklace.

"Here, take this talisman, it will protect you." Twilight tried to offer it to him.

Charlie looked at the luxurious talisman for a while then shook his head.

"I'm sorry miss, I'm afraid I have to decline it." Charlie said as he pushed the talisman back to her "You should keep it to yourself for your own safety being." He told her.

After that, Charlie stood up.

"Well, I guess I'll be leaving now. See ya later miss, and I hope that one day you can save your land." He said as he turned around and attempted to leave, but then the sound of the pony crawling towards him made him halt and turn around and look down at her.

"Please." She said "Not only will this talisman protect you, it is also the key to save my land and my subjects, and I sense some power in you that can help save my land and subjects so please." She pleaded him.

Charlie's eyes widened when he heard her saying that he has power.

"I have power?" Charlie asked himself. He then bent down and looked at Twilight and was eager to know more.

"How do you want me to use the talisman? And what is this power in me?" Charlie asked.

"The power is for you to discover. And the talisman will guide you to the other lands of Equestria and you have to recruit the remaining survivors and rescue my land and subjects please." Twilight pleaded.

Charlie began to think about her words, does he really have power? And what are the other lands or continents of Equestria? But still, he couldn't just leave the ponies and other creatures to be enslaved by the Chinese like this so he had to succour them.

"I'm in." He said as he grabbed the talisman.

"Thank you." Twilight said with a grateful smile "You can start by touching the small gems on the talisman." She preached him.

"Okay, I'll give it my best shot." Charlie said as he stood up "And I'll be back as soon as I can before the Chinese finds you." He told them.

After that, Charlie turned around and exited the snack house.

Luster Dawn took a quick observation of the invader and saw that this one is more friendly. And it would also seem like it will need some assistance around the land. She then looked at her parents.

"Dad, mom. I think the invader needs some assistance here." She told them.

Sunburst and Starlight looked at their daughter with a perplexed expression.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm just saying, he might get lost without some help from one of us. So I want to volunteer to help." Luster Dawn told them "Besides, this invader seems a bit more kind and friendly compared to the other ones." She finished in a veracious sense.

Sunburst and Starlight tried to object but Twilight intervened.

"You daughter is right guys. This invader needs down assistance around our land since he is not from here, and your daughter is the most eligible for the work." Twilight told them.

Sunburst and Starlight both thought for a moment then sighed.

"Okay Luster Dawn, you can assist the invader. But be sure to be back quickly alright?"

"Alright." Luster Dawn said as she hugged her parents. After ten seconds, she rushed out of sugarcube corner and ran to catch up with the invader.
