Charlie was defending the petrified Luster Dawn from the four police units by stepping in front of her. And one of the police shook his head from his move.

"You think that can help?" The police officer asked in English.

"No, but none of you will be getting close to my friend." Charlie told them with a glare.

Then police officer sent Charlie an incredulous look.

"Did you call that pink unicorn a friend?" He asked.

"Yeah, so what's the big deal?"

"I don't think you understand what she and her fragile and vile kind has done to us in our country." Lau Chan Weng told him, and Charlie was perplexed.

"What do you mean officer? And what do you mean when you called her and her kind vile?" Charlie asked.

"Well you see one month ago, we were-" Lau decided not to share the classified information to him.

"Oh right, why would I even want to share this information to you?" Lau asked himself "I'm so dumb." He said.

"Why do you not want to share?" He asked.

"Why should I share the information?" Lau asked with a shrug "Besides, your not even from China, your from Australia Charlie Lam." He told him.

Charlie's eyes immediately widened in surprise and feart when he heard that. How did this police officer knew where he resides in? And how does he know his name? Did the Chinese also invented some sort of scanning technology almost similar to his?

"How does this police officer know my name?" Charlie asked himself in his mind petrified "Well, I mean, it's not that surprising because, China is also a very technologically advanced country, and the Chinese military are very powerful like the US military."

Charlie was going to ask the police officer some more inquiries he has, but he was cut off by a metal tinkling noise. He looked at the officer and saw him bringing out a metal handcuff. Then he began to approach him which made Luster Dawn tremble in fear while hiding behind Charlie.

"Anyways, you and Luster Dawn are hereby under arrest and will be coming back to Canterlot to be interrogated either by the Lieutenant General or the colonel." Lau said.

Once he got close to Charlie, he grabbed his hand or hoof and attempted to cuff him, but suddenly, Charlie revolted and punched the police officer in the snout. And the force of his punch sent the officer staggering backwards to the three of his officers. When the three other officers witnessed Charlie assaulting one of their colleagues, they drew their guns out and aimed it at their faces, but Lau halted them.

"Zhàn xiàlái! (Stand down!)" Lau ordered.

The three other officers were perplexed at first when they heard their superior telling them to stand down because, Charlie has just assaulted him, but they obeyed his order and lowered their pistols.

Lau then stood back up on his feet and starred at Charlie with a smile on his face which got him into a fighting stance.

"Heh, not bad kid."

"Thanks, just some martial arts backstory and a veiled warning to you if you attempt to arrest or attack me." Charlie told him "And if you even try to get you and your colleagues filthy hands me or Luster Dawn, I will give you a daunting and excruciating contusions on your faces." Charlie warned. And Lau chuckled from his words.

"Heh, such strong words from a young teenager. And here's the thing pal, back in my primary school life in Guangzhou, a school bully named Wan hai Zhou punched me in the face in the school cafeteria making me fall on the floor and drop food on my uniform which humiliated me in front of everyone. And do you know what I did in return?" He asked.

"Uh... I assume that you reported this incident to the principle's office because that behaviour is impermissible."

"No, you got it wrong." Lau told him "You see I used the study of Bruce Lee's martial arts movies and books to resolve this inefficiency, and at the end, the bully got into the hospital because of his selfish and reckless act and that is an indisputable fact. And it's also a good thing that no teachers or students saw me do that after school." He finished with a smile.

Charlie and Luster Dawn gasped in horror when they heard that.

"Why would you do that?" He asked "You cannot used savage brutality against a person even if they have bullied you, that's just a lethal act!" He said.

"Yeah." Luster Dawn agreed with a nod.

Lau Chan Weng chuckled at their reply.

"Anyways, where was I?" He asked himself "Oh yes, guys eliminate them." Lau ordered.

"Shōu dào. (Roger that.)" The three officers said in unison.

Then the aimed their pistols at them and Charlie's eyes widened and he stomped in the ground with all of his might. But what he didn't know is that his strength was making his horn glow.

"Suíyì shèjí! (Fire at will!)" Lau yelled. Then the three officers squeezed the triggers and shots were fired.

*BANG! BANG! BANG!*

When Charlie and Luster Dawn heard the banging noises. They immediately shielded themselves with their hooves and prepared to meet their fate. But unexpectedly, the bullets didn't even made contact with them.

"Huh?" Charlie said with a disorientate expression, he opened his eyes and saw something very unique, a large white circular barrier was protecting them. Charlie looked down and saw that the three bullets the police officers shot were on the ground squashed. He then looked in front of him and saw that the four officers were traumatized.

"Yǒu méiyǒu gǎo cuò? (What the heck?)" A police officer said startled.

"Whoa, what is this feature?" Charlie asked astonished.

"Why that is magic Charlie, and you have managed to activate a magical barrier without reading any books which is very impressive." Luster Dawn said with an amazed expression.

"Magic?" Charlie asked with a disorientate expression "Are you saying that this magic thing is like a weapon?" He asked.

"Sometimes." Luster Dawn said with a shrug "But, this barrier is established to protect you in case of an incoming magic blast or attack." She told him.

"Now that is awesome." Charlie said quietly. Then he looked at the four police officers "Alright you four I'll give you two options, one you can either go back into your car and go back to your Lieutenant General. Two, have an excruciating event with magic. So choose wisely." He told them.

Lau wasn't going to give up and fail the Lieutenant General that simply, he then growled and looked at his colleagues.

"Xiāomiè tāmen (Eliminate them!)" Lau ordered.

The three officers nodded and cocked their guns and aimed it at them.

When Charlie noticed the police officers guns aimed at them, he charged towards them with his barrier still active to prevent them from killing him. Then the three police officers fired shots at the barrier.

*BANG! BANG! BANG!*

Every bullets they fired bounced off the magical barrier, none making a crack on it mainly because of the weak calibre. And once Charlie has closed the distance between one of the officers, he jumped up and delivered a back kick to his face, and the force of his kick made the officer crash his head into the trunk knocking him out in the process. The second officer wasn't able to make his move when Charlie reverse kicked him in the face, and the kick made the officer spin mid air and landing on the ground roughly with a loud thud. The third police officer pulled out his nightstick and attempted to hit through the barrier with it, but when the metal stick collided with the white barrier, it got shattered into pieces.

"Heh, that was a temerarious move there buddy." Charlie told him, then he delivered a high rising kick directly at his chin, and the police officer instantly fell on the ground unconscious. And finally, Charlie faced the police leader with his barrier shut off.

"Now now now, you shouldn't do this, you can sentenced for assaulting an officer you know." Lau warned him.

When Charlie heard this, he looked at Luster Dawn and she gave him a 'beat him up' expression. Charlie nodded to her and looked back at the officer with a smile.

"Okay then, I'll defeat you another way." Charlie said which perplexed him. He then charged up towards Lau in an incredible speed which caught him off guard, then he jumped over behind him and wrapped his hands together which made him whimper. And finally, Charlie grabbed the cuffs off his belt and cuffed his hands.

"There, now get your colleagues back to your Lieutenant General or your police commissioner and tell them that none of you found me either because that I was off radar, or your tracker malfunctioned." Charlie told him. Then he threw the four officers back in the police car and one of them drove back to Canterlot.

Luster Dawn walked up to Charlie and looked at him with an anger and bewildered mixed expression.

"Why did you let them leave?"

"You'll see very soon Luster Dawn. The four police officers will not see me and you as savages." He told her.

Luster Dawn was going to say something back but something behind Charlie caught her attention, she looked and saw that they have arrived in the Kirin Village.

"Whoa look Charlie! It's the Kirin village!"

"What?" Charlie asked as he turned around, then he caught sight of a village in front of him. "Oh, is this the Kirin Village the red gem was guiding us to?" He asked.

"Yep." Luster Dawn replied with a nod.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go and recruit some of the survivors residing or hiding here!" Charlie said as he ran to the village with Luster Dawn behind him.
