Good Day Stranger’s

The siblings look at the Merchant. On one hand this was too good to be true and on the other its fight or flight.

Mind telling me how you two found me?” The Merchant demands through agitation.

“Would you mind putting down that terrifying weapon and we can explain how this happened.” Chris nervously asked but tried to sound tough for his sister. Didn’t want to make Christina think he’s a coward and hold this against him. Chris and Christina saw the Merchant close his eyes and put the BFG back into his coat. As he put the gun away he turned and flipped the switch, brightening the room. The Merchant looked back towards the two who were confused.

Don’t ask how this room got power, now...care to explain.” As The brother and sister looked around the room, it was bigger than the other rooms they searched through. Boxes pile on each other with ammo. Display cases on the walls that have armor and guns. Unique weapons that belong to old Wars in each States on Earth it seems. In the middle of the room was The Merchant. What appears to be an old wooden stand. Think of it as a lemon stand with Bold red letters on the top that says WHAT YOU WANT? Behind the stand was a normal looking workbench, along with various tools on it and scattered tools on the floor.

“Sis, get your ticket out and give it to him.” Chris got his ticket from his wallet while Christina brought back from her stupor.

She took out her wallet and brought the ticket to the Merchant. “Here you go.” She smiled while placing the ticket on the stand next to Chris.

“Sis, Rook got his face between your legs.” Chris pointed out. Rook was in underneath and between Christina with his muzzle pointed out from her legs while laying down. A look from his sister was confused

“Hmm?” she looked down and sure enough there he was. She didn’t even notice that. Rook was kind of big, and thanks to his head her feet are kind of lifted

“Aww, he’s just scared and needed a place to feel safe. I’m sorry baby take all the time down there” Christina said in a baby-like tune while petting Rooks’ head. “Just Let him be.”

Chris wanted to argue but he remembered he wanted to tell Christina what he learned from dad’s friends. As the Merchant looked at the tickets without caring for the arguments from the two.

Strangers, how did you two come across this? We very rarely give these out.

“We? Those more?” Chris question the Merchant.

Of Course, Spread out into the universe. Tell me how you got these.” the tone of his voice was losing patience.

“Right..right” Chris with his I’m tired of being tired. “Well sixteen years ago our dad rented a cabin to stay. Our dad wanted to teach us about hunting for a week. Won’t go into full detail but one night I heard a noise. I woke up my sister and followed whatever made it. In the kitchen there was a door that was never there.” He looked at Christina who was laying against the wall with both her arms around Rook with her face buried in his neck. Little by little he is getting used to his sister’s unorthodox lifestyle. “We went downstairs to find another door barely close. We went to investigate what was behind the door but there was talking. My little sister, being her crazy self, kicked the open and found a Merchant. He was closing up shop until she entered. But he stopped what he was doing. He turned to us mumbling about there is a reason why the two of us were here. He reached inside of his coat and gave us the two tickets.”

“Then he both slap the hell out of us.” Christina butt in. “He was using a foam hand with the number 1 then slapped us. You think it wouldn’t hurt but we were knocked out cold.”

I know who you speak of, Merchant CD45J8. Listen Strangers, these tickets are given to the ones who are going to be in a major war.”

”Oh fuck me” Christina whispered.

“What war Merchant?” Chris sliding down a wall sitting next to Christina. “Before you say anything about the war, you said the other Merchants name. What’s yours?”

The Merchant looked at the two. Their faces read scared, disarray, terrified. “Before I tell you, would one of you put a sock on the doorknob?” The two confusing adults look at each other with what the fuck look, clearly knowing what that stands for.

“Uhhh….sure” Christina took off her boot, then sock and did the dirty deed. She sat where she got up, wondering why that act happened.

My code name is 3C3C1D119440927. But my real name is B2. Since we are going to be working together.”

”What the hercules ass hair kind of name is THAT! And what do you mean working together? And how many tickets were given?” Chris bombing the Merchant with questions.

“Differently, feels like shit went from 0 to infinity and beyond real quick.” She brings her knees to her chest and wraps her arm around them.

To answer each of those questions in that order. One, Why that long name is because I’m a bug in their system. There are Merchants like myself who want to go back to who we were. When I say I’m a bug in their system, I have ways they can’t see or hear me. The total number of Merchants who are like myself are 5. You already met one of them. Two, when the time comes to start the war I give you a call. I can supply you with anything and everything you need for free. It’s because of that ticket, the higher ups don’t know what the tickets stand for. They think it’s for good fortune for the ones that come across us. Three, the total of tickets that we’re given in the universe are 903 as of today.” Chris just looked at the Merchant, with a slack jaw. Christina brought her head up wondering about something.

“How many tickets were given on earth before us?” Christina said.

Without hesitation the Merchant answered her.”1

“Who was it?” Chris ask. The Merchant dug inside of his coat to find what he was looking for. He was holding a picture looking at it. With a single tear I’m his eye he turns it around.

Elvis Presley, before you ask who died on the toilet. Itwas a stunt double.” In the black and white picture is THE Elvis Presley with the Merchant holding a thumbs up.

“Huh, that’s pretty neat.” Chris announced from out of his funk. “Right, since we are working together what do you have in mind?” Merchant put the photo back.

Like I said. I can give you what you need but at the same time you are doing a job. This job is doing a favor for not just me but for all of the Merchants. This goes for you to Christina. Chris, your job is to kill Flurry Heart. Christina, your job is to kill Shining Armor. I got your information in a file that you two want to be villains. We don’t have a lot of villains in our group. Mostly heros but I’m not complaining. The only thing that is not in file is who or what you want to become. Now..it doesn’t matter how you kill them or how long it takes you. All that matters is their death. Before you ask me what you want I need to lay information for you two. When I’m done talking you can ask questions. When you accept your “gift” the first thing that is going to happen is that you two will be separated. What I mean by that is you two be in a different multiverse the first time. You can ask me what time you wanna jump into but this is only one time. After you complete your mission you will be united. Regardless of how long or short you completed your mission. Because time, space and continuum." the Merchant rolled his eyes and his hand to express how little fucks he gives about the infinite amount of cosmos. Now, any questions?” the two finally standing up. Chris raised his hand like a child. “Yes you there, got a question?

“Yeah, is there a way to keep in touch?” Chris innocent ask.

As soon as we get down to business, I can solve that dilemma. Are you two ready?” Both of them nodded. “Before we start, you can put your sock on now”

Christina got up and looked at Chris. “You go ahead, you know who I want to be and probably know more.” Chris got up as well stretching his back. He got to the stand and looked back. She got the sock and was sitting down.

Got some things that might Interest ya stranger. Now what would it be?” Chris drumming his fingers on the stand while thinking.

"Do you have Carnage and Scream from Spiderman?” Chris suggested.

Let me have a look in the files.” He bent down underneath the stand. Sound of metal and paper could be heard.

Let’s see..no, not here. Here’s Spiderman, I found Carnage. Now the other Other. Hmm..few S names but found it.” He flopped the two files down with the pictures along the list of power they have. Very identical but the only difference was Scream is able to use her hair like an extra weapon. “How do you like to modify these two?” Merchant dug inside of his coat and pulled out a pen and Blues Clues notepad.

“Like to modify these two to be immune to all magic and sound. Be able to turn invisible. Be able to make no sound when running and wall climbing. The symbiotes have no scent. The symbiotes are not sentient and sapient. Don’t want to have voices in our heads” As the Merchant wrote the things down he ran his chin.

Strange, I can take away the fire and sound weakness but you must choose a weakness.”

Chris had an idea. “Make the weakness stone. Even though we are immune to magic, we are going to get stoned sooner or later. And yes, pun intended. “

"Is that all?

“Oh-oh me! Mememe!” Christina bouncing up and down like a whore she is. “Can you make that Symbiote Scream have an ability to make me pregnant by any species?”

“Christina...what are you up to?” Chris is worried about what this is turning into.

Christina use ignore (Super efficient). “Also, can you make another symbiote suit for Rook. Turn him into Venom. Same what Chris said.” The Merchant nodded his head in agreement. “Well Chris, you might get a brother in law.” Christina said while sticking out her tongue like a child.

Will that be all Strangers?

Chris threw his hands up and put them on his sides. “YEAH! That’s all, that’s everything.”

Christina had one idea she was waiting for. “Oh, I almost forgot. Can you make Rook talk?”

Sure, Since that’s easy I do that first. The rest might take some time to make.”

”Sorry Chris, this way I wont be so lonely.” The Merchant rolled up a newspaper and squeezed some kind of silver gel on it while rubbing it all over the paper. The Merchant walked over to Rook who was sleeping next to the door and whistled. Rook look up a d tilted his head

*WHACKO*

Christina was wide eyed with a shocked look. Chris was stunned at the act but more stunned that he could see the bubble that said whacko.

“Hey sis, did you do that? That bad 1966 batman sound effects with words displayed?”

“Of fucking course I saw that but he hit Rook!!”

Rook shook his head. “Ouchie that hurt! Wait..I can talk? I can talk!! Yes Yes Yes! I can finally talk! Ohh! You’re that pretty lady that I buried my knot inside of your p-”

*cha-BAM*

another hit from the newspaper against the side of his head. This time it was gold.

Sorry about that, the first was to make him talk. The other is to make him smart. Well, just a little smarter than you two. Now if you excuse me I got work to do. Please take a seat somewhere.

“Shit, he knows how to use a newspaper.” Rook shakes his head. “Can’t believe I can talk. And I heard everything you guys talk about! All of this is crazy.” Rook looked at Christina who was on the verge of tears. “Hey my love.” Rook smile.

“Hey hun” Christina hiccuped by small sobs of happiness. “Your voice is kind of like Tom Welling. But a tad rougher.” Christina giggled while tears were running down her face.

“Glade I caught that celebrity name. Guessing the Merchant hit me with what’s going on in this world, not everything but just enough.” Rook jumped up to put his two front paws on Christina’s shoulders. “Hey there beautiful, my name is Rook. Would it be ok if I kiss you?” Rook said almost eye level with Christina.

“Such a cliche thing to say but yes you may.” The two brought their lips together. There was no tongue, just a passionate kiss.

“Love you Chrissy.”

“I love you to Rookie.”

they both chuckled at the silly nickname. Chris just sat on the floor laying against the stand with a smile on his face.

If she’s happy and protected. I can live with that. Chris started softly laughing.

“Alright love birds, I got something to say.”

Rook brought himself down while Christina might be worried about what he might say

"Don’t worry sis it’s not about your relationship. It’s what I found out about dad’s friends . It’s not good and just a fucking cliche.” Chris brought his head up and let his arms go limp.

“So tell us bro.” Christa started petting Rooks stomach.

“Apparently there’s a Asteroid about to hit earth in March. A planet killer, they told me.” All three look down in the complex of not sure what to say.

“Even if we lost earth. Our home. We aren’t here anymore, we are leaving to another dimension. This might be hard to hear but we gotta move on.” Rook said with his head down and his ears pressing down against his skull. There were few seconds of silence. Letting that reality sink in.

“Heh, you’re right.” Silence was in the air for the three. The only sound was the Merchant doing his job.

“You know Rook, just want to say thanks for making my lil sis smile. A real genuine smile.” Rook just smiled and pressed his head against Christina’s side of her face.

All Done Strangers.”
