The rainbow seed was never found by anycreature because it took a long time to sprout. Grogar was overthrown by Gusty the Great, Lord Tirek was born, the Pillars were formed, Hearths warming eve began, Equestria was founded, The princesses came to power, Tirek and Scorpan came to Equestria, The pony of shadows was formed and banished, The tree of harmony finished growing, King Sombra was overthrown, Discord took over Equestria, Nightmare moon was banished to the moon, The rainboom that gave the mane 6 their cutie mark bond happened, Nightmare moon returned and was turned back to Luna, Discord was freed from stone then turned back to stone, Chrysalis and the changelings nearly took over Canterlot, King Sombra and the Crystal empire returned and Sombra was banished to the aether, and Tirek returned before being sent back to tartarus, before the Rainbow flower was fully grown. When it reached it's full size, it opened to reveal a female baby baticorn.

The baticorn had a dark blue coat with star-like dots all over, a blue mane with thin green strips, a fiery orange tail, mud-brown bat wings, a snow-white horn with a golden-yellow swirl. and rainbow colored eyes. She was near a crystal castle when the flower opened. She was still very young and could not even walk and could barely talk yet.

Inside the castle was a purple alicorn named Twilight and a baby dragon named Spike. They were busy reading in the library when Twilight heard the baticorn crying. Curious, Twilight went to look for who was causing the noise. She looked around the castle when she saw the baby baticorn.

Twilight hurried to the flower and looked at the baby baticorn. She was both amazed and confused at how a creature like this could ever exist. The baby opened her eyes and revealed that they were rainbow colored. This made twilight even more confused because she never saw anycreature with rainbow eyes.

"Mama?" asked the baticorn

This startled Twilight, the baticorn called her mama. But she was all alone and completely defenseless, for she didn't know about her powers yet. Twilight picked the baticorn up with her magic and brought her to the library in her castle.

"Spike!" yelled Twilight, "I need you to send a message to Celestia immediately."

"Coming." said Spike, "What did you need me to send to the Princess?"

Twilight replied, "Celestia, I've found a new kind of pony inside a rainbow flower near my castle. I'd like you to come to my castle immediately. Signed, Twilight. Send it."

Spike blew it with his fire breath and watched it as flew away towards Canterlot as magic dust. A few minutes later, Celestia appeared inside the library of the castle.

"Celestia, I'm glad you made it. Now, do you know anything about this new kind of pony?" asked Twilight, pointing at the baticorn.

"I may have seen many bizarre things in my life, but I've never seen a pony like this." Said Celestia.

"That means that I've just discovered a new type of pony!!!" said Twilight excitedly. "I wonder what it should be called. Hmm, it's got wings and a horn like a alicorn, but it's wings are like that of a bat-pony. Maybe Baticorn."

"I think that the name Baticorn is the perfect name for it." said Celestia, "But somepony is going to have to take care of her, she's too young too last on her own."

"I'll take her." said Twilight, "I found her, so I should take care of her. Now, I have a few important errands to run. I'll message you if anything happens."
