“Just take a sip. It's not bad, I promise." Cadence requested, pushing the cup to the edge of the table with her magic, watching his eyes follow it like a cat following a laser pointer. Not that they have those here. Cats, I mean. They don't have cats. Anyways…
As part of a tiny experiment, Cadence moved the cup back to its original place, noticing that his eyes were still glued to the cup. “We could keep going if you'd like." Cadence asked with a knowing smile.

“For what?" He asked, sitting up in the bed, keeping himself wrapped in the warm, soft blanket.
“You'll see." She replied, opening the door. She peeked her head out, looking both ways to make sure there were no ponies around.
“Oh, Shiny~!" She called. Soon, he could hear hoofsteps approaching from the left - cause his ears were good like that - before Shining Armor slid in place in front of Cadence.
The unicorn’s eyes widened as he lifted the blanket up to cover his mouth, hoping to not attract the attention of the Royal captain more than his bright red coat did.
“What's wrong?" Shining asked, scanning the room, and locking eyes with the unicorn. “And who's that?" He continued, pointing at the red unicorn, who had ducked under the blanket in an attempt to hide. It didn't work well. His tail stuck out and over the side of the bed.
“Oh, nothing." She said, hiding the truth. “Come in, come in." She said, backing away to let him in. He did, keeping a wary eye on the lump in the bed the slightly swishing tail was attached to.

“Now, you may be wondering why I called you boys here." She said, sitting down. Shining turned to her and sat as well, while the lump grew a nose, which stuck out from under the blanket at the end of the bed.

“There you are." She said, bringing her husband's attention over to the red unicorn, who flicked his tail at the attention, but otherwise stood still.

The unicorn took a few steps towards Shiny, watching to see the captain’s reaction. Satisfied, he continued, bringing his nose up to Shining’s.
But he smelled something. Sniff. The red stallion’s head lowered and his eyes closed, allowing his nose to guide him to the strange scent. Sniff sniff. Soon enough, his nose bumped something. His eyes opened, crossing to see what he had bumped.
