Equestria of might and magic: Shadow of Death

Sandro first person narrative:

"so here i am telling the young princess what happened when she was in a coma for four days how lovely".

marrowgrave castle:

"judeais is our guest in the bed chamber like i ask?". Sandro ask the the faceless.

"yes but i fear it will take time for her to wake up after what you did to her". Judeais said to sandro.

"well then lets make do with what we got. Inform the liches to prepare the crypts and graveyards we are going to awake every corpse,skeleton and ghosts in this forest. And send word to the flesh carvers to begin crafting some new undead servants for my legions". Sandro said giving orders to is minions to do is bidding.

"judeais head to to chamber of shadows and send a letter to canterlot tell them that sandro, Netherking of Marrowgrave castle is inviting princesses celestia and luna for an audience and that they can being twenty and only twenty guards if they will bring more or less than twenty then princess twilight will pay the price". Sandro said to the faceless.

"why to go to such extremes?". The faceless ask the necromancer.

"to show them that i have all the cards". Sandro said back to him.

"and one more thing, after you send the letter i want you to go to canterlot gardens i have plans for a certain bug". Sandro said to judeais and then he went to the temple of the netherworld.

canterlot castle:

"i am worried sister that dark magic from the everfree is like nothing i have seen before". Celestia said to luna in concern.

"you don't say i never had that feeling of dread before in my life". Luna said to her sister even if she was lying to her she know it was the necromancer Alejandro.

When the sisters done speaking to each other the doors burst open and a pony guard along side former captain shining armor came to them out of breath.

"I have a letter for princesses celestia and luna". The guard said.

"tell us my little pony what is the letter saying". Celestia said to the guard.

The guard started to read the letter. "Greeting monarchs of sun and moon you are invited to celebrate the new alliance of harmonic death between equestria and marrowgrave. The host of the party is high Netherking, necromancer sandro.
You are to follow the instructions of the letter or the kingdom of marrowgrave will see it is an act of war and if that happened the element of magic will become the element of death". "P.s i hope to see you once more luna i know some one that can help you with the nightmare moon problem, your new friend Alejandro Dela Segadora". The guard was done reading the letter shining armor began to speak.

"princess we need to to something to... Save...twilight". Shining armor saw celestia looking at luna but her way of looking at her was not concern it was rage pure rage and then celestia started to speak to luna.

"luna if you know something about this necromancer you better say it now!". Celestia said to her sister.

"i don't know much about him is not from our world and is more powerful then us, when i met him in ponyville". Before luna can finish her words celestia interrupted her. "you met him in ponyville, is he the monster twilight mention in her letter two days ago". Celestia said to her sister in rage.

"he was under the protection of your student sister, and what would you what me do he is far more stronger then me or you, his power rivals discord but that necromancer from what i know of him he will not hurt twilight he if i have to guess he wants us to come to him". Luna said to her sister.

"then we shell do so on his terms, shining armor gather nineteen of our best guards and we will go to this marrowgrave". Celestia said to the former captain.

"yes princess but where is this marrowgrave?". Shining armor ask her.

"Well its say in the letter actually its in the former castle of the two sisters". The guard said to them.

Then after hearing that celestia was glowing like fire and she shouted "HE DID WHAT!". So loud everypony in the castle heard her.

marrowgrave outskirts:

As the small group of guards lead by shining armor,luna and celestia enter the outskirts of the dead forest they saw how much change the the smell of rotting and decay all around and a thick dark clouds of unholy magic was all around them it was like something has turn the forest to a nightmare night house.

"I don't like it this have to be a trap". One of the guards said out loud.

"well we need to push further for twilight". Shining said to them.

"Something is coming!". One of the guards said.

When they all prepare for battle something came out of the forest canopy it was large manticore but at the same time it was not a manticore it had the body of a manticore the sting of a manticore but it was pale and rotting but it did not had a lion's head it had a face of some unknown creature and it started to speak to them.

"Greetings guests of marrowgrave i will be your tour guide for today til we get to the castle".the monster said to them.

"WHAT ARE YOU". One of the guards said to him.

"you are out of line soldier". Shining armor said to the guard.

"Its ok former captain shining armor or is it prince armor of the crystal empire, my kind can be terrifying to the weak hearted". The monster said to them.

"How did you know all of the things about me?". Shining ask the monster in fear.

"Well my master informed us and from what i can tell he learn all that from the child of the goddess of darkness". He said to him.

"But i think my master can tell you all of that when we get to the castle". He said to them.

As they follow the monster they saw timber wolves but larger made of bones,dead wood and meat and the wolves did not stop watching them.

"what kind of timber wolves are they?". Luna said to the rest of the group.

"That is not a timber wolves they are much stronger versions of them crafted in gravestone workshops by the flesh carvers of our necropolis we called flesh wargs". The monster said to them.

"ah thank you for the explanation ahhh i am sorry i don't know your name or what you are, are you some kind of manticore?. Luna ask him.

"No need to be sorry my name is no longer matter it was gone when i was turn in to this but my kind well we are known as Lamasus.

"so that is not your true form?". This time celestia ask the Lamasu.

"Well no my kind appear in the year 512 YSD, when the Wizards of the Seven Cities created the Beastmen as guards, servants, and “playthings”. The Lamasus were one of many experiments, specifically born of the unnatural fusion of human criminals and Manticores. The resulting creatures were naturally infected by a strange form of pestilence. Too unstable and short-lived, they were considered a failure until a humble embalmer discovered their true potential. A student of the Necromancers, he simply rose the Lamasus’ dead bodies and offered them as a gift to his masters. Our function as plague vector, coupled with their physical might and mobility, made them deadly and versatile troops in the Undead armies of the rising Necromancer cult".

"that is so horrible and wrong how could they do this even if its to criminals". Celestia said to him.

"Well scientific curiosity and magic". He said to her.

Then they done talking and walking and the Lamasu started to talk again. "Now then welcome to the necropolis of marrowgrave the gate guards will open you the doors if you show them your letter if excuse me i need to fly to the hunted woods have a good day and a word of advise don't act like a fanatical zealot we don't like that in our home". As he finish saying that he fly away.

marrowgrave castle:

Upon arrival at the castle gate the group found its self staring at two skeletons of a bipedal cats that where wielding six swords and next to them a strange bipedal in full plate armor. The strange one started to talk.

"Letter of invite?". The strange bipedal ask.

"here it is". Luna said to him and giving him the letter.

"Very good please come the master is in the throne room". He said to the group.

It was ten minutes of walking but when they arrive to the throne room the strange bipedal started to introduce them.

"Presenting princesses celestia and luna of canterlot, rulers of sun and moon,defenders of the realm of equestria and second paragons of harmony". He said to the room.

And then he started to talk again now to the princesses. "Monarchs of sun and moon i presenting before you my lord
Sandro,Netherking and first high lord the necropolis of marrowgrave , master of death and void, first of the nethermancers and shadow of death". He finish introduce is master. Then a bipedal wearing a mask and a dark green cloak started to go to them from his throne and he started talking to them.

"it is good to meet you once more lady luna i hope you miss me as much as i missed you,and you must be big sister celestia, twilight said you have a divine grace you know before she pass out from my magic". Sandro said to celestia.

Celestia was in rage and said to the necromancer. "by the power of the sun if you don't tell me what you done to twilight sparkle i will burn you". At this point celestia had fire in her eyes ready to strike the necromancer in his place.

While she was threatened him sandro snap is fingers and before the group of ponies where about fifty strange bipedal creatures from no where and they had swords full of dark magic. After that sandro started talking again.

"you know what where you hoping to achieve by threatening to kill me in my home where i have more power then you and you have less, all because you want to save your student that clearly you think of her more of a daughter then apprentice". Sandro said to celestia.

"what have you done to twilight". Shining said to him in demand.

"and who are you exactly?". Sandro ask shining armor.

" i am shining armor twilight's brother and i want to know what have you done to my sister you monster". Shining armor said to sandro.

"sorry i have to ask are ponies really related to each other all of you have stupid different names its hard to know". Sandro said to shining armor ignoring is demand.

"that is it i challenge you to a duel if i win you have to let us see twilight". Shining said to the necromancer.

"and why in the name of the void i would accept that duel,if luna did not beat me how can you". Sandro said to the former captain.

"why are you afraid to lose". Shining said to the necromancer in a mocking tone.

"are you serious,was this really the captain of the royal guard what an embarrassment". Sandro said to the room.

"fine if you really want to fill the power of necromancy i will grant you this duel and if i win all of you will have to do what ever i say until your visit is over, and one more thing i will not duel you that will be unfair to your sister if her brother will become a corpse in my army so i will chose a champion to represent me in the duel deal". Sandro said to shining armor.

"deal". Shining said back to the necromancer. "perfect lets go to the bonefield arena and then we can begin". Sandro said to all of them and they started to go to the arena.

marrowgrave castle bonefield arena:

The arena was cold, made from bone and stone, it was under the necropolis and it was larger then then the training yard in canterlot. And then luna started to talk. " how big is this city of death". Luna asked the necromancer.

"a necromancer never reveal its secrets". Sandro said back to luna.

"well where is your champion". Shining said to sandro.

"such impatient behavior he will be here soon". Sandro said to shining.

A few minutes later and a loud galloping was heard from across the arena and from the east side came a view of a familiar creature. It was a centaur an undead centaur but it was different then tirek it was larger full of armor and held a spear.

" i believe you are familiar to that creature i want you to have a nice battle before you will except your defeat". Sandro said to the pony.

" i will beat that monster of yours". Shining said to sandro.

"well then,begin". Sandro said and the undead centaur began to charge at shining armor for hours every time shining hits the undead it keep coming back.

While the rest of the guards where cheering shining armor a familiar shadow appear out of thin air.

"sandro i have done as you ask she is ready when you will finish this pointless battle". Judeais said to sandro.

"i am sorry but why is this battle pointless". Luna asked the strange shadow like creature.

"well lady of shadows when you battle the undead its all ways a battle of attrition until the necromancer is out of mana but when you battle the undead in the necropolis you will never win in a fair fight because the necropolis will supply the necromancers and the dead in infinite amount of necros magic". The faceless said to her.

At this moment shining armor fell to the ground,tired and can't move then sandro teleported to the arena and said to shining armor, "i won". After saying that sandro drop him to the ground and ask celestia to tell the guards they brought to take the former captain back to canterlot since they are useless.

throne room after the story:

"after that i took them to your room to show them you are safe plus i told them about our task and to prepare the world for the demon army. Then they left and in the next two days i worked on a project that will boost my undead power and now i think its time to reveal it". Sandro said to them in a cheering tone.

"my i present the new general of my legions of undeath she was part of a race of shapeshifters that scavenge food like rats and now she is a priestess of asha. I welcome to our ranks queen chrysalis,no not queen i present to you Namtaru chrysalis". After sandro finish is words the three princesses said at the same time. "WHAT!".
