In an alternate Equestria ruled by the Princesses Twilight Sparkle, Cadance and Dinky Hooves, Dinky writes a series of letters to her students about how she became a princess. This is the first letter she writes. She explains how Equestria fell apart, how she realised she wanted to change that and how she found her cutie mark, the symbol of a fire burning with hope in Equestria's darkest hour, with a little bubble to show how important family is in life.
