It has only been a few centuries since Nightmare Moon was banished, and tensions between the bat ponies and the rest of Equestria still run hot. Somewhere, amongst the myriad bat ponies that are living their lives up north in Luna Bay, there is Midnight Harmony, and she is love with a very particular pony, Heart Weaver, a vampire.

Now a vampire herself, she quickly finds herself on the run due to circumstances not entirely within her control, trying to find her place in a world that no longer makes sense to her. Will she be able to uncover the secrets behind her lover's disappearance or will the weight of the world crush her?
