Equestria is at war. Industry has begun to engulf the nations around it, and soon, the industrious Steampunk nation to the East of Equestria has begun to run raids on its coast. Princess Celestia then calls all the best Pegasi to join the most elite Airborne Division to help fight it off and ultimately win the war. There, a stallion Pegasus named Dusk meets Rainbow Dash and the two have brief contact before they are sent into the field. What follows after their tour is finished is completely up to fate, their decisions and what they remember. Because life is just a combination of choices and memories, right? I mean, what cliche story isn't about two lovers who meet in the middle of war, right?
