She had sunshine yellow skin and long hair that's the same colour but has crimson stripes. She wore leather pants, jacket, gloves and boots. Her name is Sunset Shimmer. She had come back to the city because she sensed something, something bad, something....evil. Sunset quickly mounted her bike and sped away to this evil soul that she will burn. It is her duty after all....ever since she made the deal. It had started two years ago when she was 18.... The girls had a good run in Canterlot High together but it was getting close to graduation. That meant a prom would take place a few days before the graduation ceremony. "Tonight's prom is going to be AMAZING!" Pinkie Pie said loudly while jumping in the air throwing confetti and streamers. Her friends just laughed at her antics. Being prom night at Canterlot High School and each of the girls were wearing beautiful dresses, designed by Rarity of course. Each dress complimented each of the girls skin colours but their were obvious differences. Pinkie's skirt was pouffy like her hair and reached her knees, she also had a bow tided around her waste. Rarity's dress was vary lady like and had sparkles with a skirt that went down to her ankles. Twilights was the least reviling with sleeves while Rainbows was the most revealing and hugged her thin figure as per her request as she wanted to show off her athletic body. Applejacks dress was 'simple but elegant' ,as Rarity described, with no sleeves. Fluttershy had no sleeves and the skirt reached her ankles. Sunset had a dress that had no sleeves and showed a bit of her cleavage along with a skirt that reached her ankles. "Say girls, who asked you guys out? I got myself Jack, the sexiest boy in the whole school" rainbow dash said with a challenging grin. "Danny asked me out, he was such a gentleman and he's so handsome" Rarity said in a posh, dreamy voice. "I'm going to be dancing with Austin who is downright the strongest man I've ever meets. Aside from Big Mac of course" said Applejack. "I'm dancing with Aden, the entomologist" said fluttershy. She had been much more confident since she meet Aden. "I'm dancing with the class clown, Fred. He's sooooo funny" Said pinkie laughing. "Flash simply adores me, why would I say no?" Said twilight as she nervously adjusted her glasses. All the girls then turned to Sunset expectedly, wanting to know who asked her out to prom. Sunset just stood there, debating in her head weather or not to tell them who she was in love with. "Come on Sunset, you can tell us who the lucky guy is" said Rainbow but Sunset turned away. Her friends instantly became worried about her. "Did no one ask you to a dance?" Asked Twilight. "No, someone did" Sunset answered quickly and after taking a deep breath she said "it's Johnny Blaze" all the girls gasped. "You are to be dancing with the best THE Johnny Blaze! As in the youngest person to become a professional stunt devil in the world?! Why are you worried about telling us that?" Said Rainbow. Sunset made a sad face "Because when I met him a few months ago I fell in love with him but when I got back to Canterlot High I over heard some other students talking. They were talking about me and what I had done wrong and then one of them said 'she'll definitely be coming alone to the prom. Who would love a she-demon?" Sunset choked on the last few words before she started crying. Her friends hugged her "So after that day I kept my dates with Johnny a secret" she said. "What an awful thing to say about someone. Sure, you made mistakes but you're different now and don't let anyone tell you differently" said Rarity. "Besides, this will only prove them wrong and that someone can love you" said Applejack. Sunset sniffled but she put a smile "thank you, you're all such good friends" she said. "That's why we're here, but anyways, enough crying and sad talk. Lets enjoy the best night of our lives" said Rainbow. A number of vehicles parked in the student parking lot. While other couples disembarked to join the party inside a few particular vehicles stood out from the rest. The prom partners of Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow and Pinkie had arrived and they proceeded into the gymnasium of the high school. Sunset on the other hand was standing alone, wondering where her boyfriend was. She began to worry 'is he late? Did he decide not to come at all? Did he find out about her past and doesn't love her anymore because she was a she-demon?!' As Sunset started to panic she heard the distinct sound of a motorcycle engine. She immediately brightened up. It was her true love, Johnny Blaze. He was Sunsets age and wore leather clothes. Sunset ran up to Johnny as he dismounted his cruiser-class bike and hugged him. "Sorry I'm late but my dad was on my ass all night about 'being ready to woo the girl at prom'" he said with big smile. Earlier.... "Why do I need to do all this dad?" asked Johnny after his dad gave him a long list. "Because if you want a girl, you need to woo her. You told me that you two were dating and in love, right?" Johnny nodded "well now is your chance to bring that love to the next level. This is how I won over your mother after all" Johnny's dad then kissed his wife. "Remember this young man, we want grandchildren" said Johnny's mom. Wanting to leave this awkward conversation as soon as possible Johnny went to complete the tasks on the list. This was the third time this month his parents came to his house without letting him know in advance. Sunset laughed "just you being here is enough to woo me" she said. They hugged before walking side by side into the gymnasium, holding each other's hand. The prom itself was, as Pinkie predicted, amazing. Food, dancing, music, socializing, but for Sunset it was being with the one she loved, it was all Sunset could have hoped for. While taking a bathroom break, Johnny checked his phone and found a text message from his mom. It read 'we left your house. Be sure to enjoy your time alone with her' Johnny's eyes widened. He was particularly spooked by the way the word 'enjoy' was written. 'Mom and dad will never give up will they?' He thought. After prom Johnny and Sunset changed into their regular clothes and Johnny brought Sunset to his house. Inside, Johnny gave Sunset a tour and needless to say she enjoyed it. Guiding Sunset to his room, Johnny showed her some old photos. "Is this you and your dad?" Sunset asked excitedly. "Yeah, me and dad were stunt bike performers in a carnival before before I entered the 'Youngest Stunt Devil' competition. Only after I won did I level up to the big dogs" Johnny said with smile, remembering the good times he and his dad had back then. "The past is a wonderful thing isn't it?" Said Johnny. Sunset made a face of shame, she didn't have a wonderful past like Johnny did. Johnny quickly noticed and became concerned "are you ok?" Asked Johnny. Sunset didn't want to tell Johnny about her past "I... I..." she couldn't find the words. Johnny put a hand around Sunsets shoulder. "I can understand if you had it rough. You don't need to tell me if you don't want to, I can't force you to" he said softly. Sunset shook her head "no, you deserve to know, you've been so nice to me" she said. Sunset told Johnny everything, Equestria, her jealousy and greed for magic, becoming a she-demon, being reformed, her friends, and finally becoming a good person. Sunset was full of guilt and shame "you've probably heard enough. Do you want me to go?" She asked. "No, you have cleansed your soul of sin. I know you have because your friends helped you see your sins" said Johnny. Sunset was shocked "you're religious?" She asked. Johnny smiled "Yes I am, and you want a second chance. God is willing to give you a second chance. Your friends are willing to give you a second chance. I'm willing to give you a second chance" Johnny replied. They both stared passionately into each others eyes for a long moment. Then they kissed, holding each other. They then stripped down to their undergarments, Johnny's and Sunsets bodies on display. Johnny had toned, hard abs, broad shoulders, muscular chest, back, and arms. Sunset, doing workouts with Johnny, was also in very good shape having a flat, hourglass belly, ample breasts and toned arms. The sex they had was slow, sensual, complete bliss and full of love. And they enjoyed every minute of it together. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Sunset woke up when the sun crossed her face, making her sunshine-yellow skin brighter. She squinted at first but her eyes soon adjusted. Stretching, Sunset rolled over on to her right side and found Johnny on his left side, smiling at her. "I believe I was supposed to kiss you so you can wake up. Oh well, better late than never" said Johnny. He then kissed Sunset on the lips before giving dozens of small kisses on her neck. Sunset fell into a fit of laughter at the smooching "good morning Johnny" she said while still laughing. After getting dressed and having a hardy breakfast of pancakes with butter and syrup Johnny and Sunset walked to Johnny's garage. Sunset had recently gotten her motorcycle license so she could ride alongside Johnny. "I still remember the first time you showed me" said Johnny as they changed into their biker outfits. 3 weeks earlier "Have I ever told you how sexy you look in leather" said Johnny. Sunset had invited him to her house to hangout. They watched some YouTube videos of cats (they just had to), played truth of dare, watched a movie with buttery popcorn, the usual. However, she actually invited him to her house to show him something and now she was leading him to her garage. "You're a hopeless romantic aren't you" said Sunset, swaying her hips more than before. They came to a door and Sunset grabbed the handle "ready for the surprise?" Sunset asked. Johnny shrugged "sure, I guess" he said, not sure what to expect as Sunset opened the door. "You got me a new bike?" Asked Johnny. "No, I got my motorcycle license. Did you actually think I got these..." she tugged her leather clothes "...just to be sexy?" Said Sunset. "Yes" replied Johnny. "It was a very special moment" said Johnny with a smile. Sunset laughed at the memory as they finished changing. Sunsets outfit was comprised of leather pants and jacket that completely covered but hugged her thin figure. She also wore plain gloves. Both were black with orange highlights and the coat had very short, dull spikes on the shoulders. Johnny wore simple all-black leather pants and jacket with gloves that had short, dull spikes. Now that they were dressed appropriately Johnny and Sunset each went to their respective bikes. Johnny's bike was a cruiser-class with a crome frame and fire decals on the fuel tank. Sunsets bike was a sleek sport-class bike designed for high performance. It was shiny lime-green. They both started their engines and revved a few times. Johnny's bike sounded on the crude side and full of raw power. Sunset's sounded high-tech and fast. With one final rev they took off speeding down the road. They couldn't go very fast in the suburbs where they lived. Though as soon as they got to the country roads they opened their throttles wide. After a while they came to a small two story house. After parking Johnny said "just a word of warning, my parents can be very.....lively". Sunset cocked an eyebrow, not sure what Johnny meant by his parents being 'lively' so she tried to prepare herself. Johnny knocked on the door "mom, dad. It's me!" He called out. A middle aged woman answered the door "hi my grown up baby" she said pulling Johnny into a hug. Sunset couldn't help but giggle while Johnny blushed the strongest of red. "Mom! Don't embarrass me in front of my girlfriend" said Johnny. His dad appeared behind his mother, chuckling "You do know that's not going to stop you mother, right?" He teased. Johnny just rolled his eyes at the tease. "I guess this is what you meant when you said that your parents are 'very lively'" said Sunset. Who was trying desperately not to fall into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. After gaining control of herself Sunset walked up and offered a hand for a handshake. "I'm Sunset Shimmer" she introduced. After shacking hands with both parents the father said "so this is the girl that our son has been telling us about". Sunset raised her eyebrows at this. "You've been telling your parents about me, how sweet" Sunset said with a smile. She kissed Johnny on his cheek and said cheek turned redder than before. "Jesus, if he becomes any more red he'll turn into a tomato" Johnny's father joked. Sunset began thinking dirty thoughts 'well he certainly dose taste good. I know from personal experience'. She was brought back to reality when Johnny's father invited them in. He went to the kitchen with Sunset while Johnny pulled his mother over to the sidelines. Johnny wanted a word with his mother "could you NOT embarrass me?" He asked. "No, as your mother, I have the right to embarrass you" said his mother. Sunset, who overheard this, decided to have some fun with her boyfriend. She leaned out the kitchen doorway. "Yeah Johnny, you mother can embarrass you all she wants" Sunset said. "Is he a tomato yet?" called Johnny's dad. Later..... The visit Johnny had with his parents was wonderful. The evening was full of food, talking, teasing, and more embarrassing moments. Sunset had learned that Johnny's mother was raised on a farm and still works there with her siblings. "Just like my friend Applejack. She runs an apple farm called Sweet Apple Acres with her brother, sister, and grandmother" said Sunset. "Is that so?" Johnny's mom said. "I would like to meet this Applejack in the future" She was genuinely intrigued by this. "I'll let her know that your interested" Sunset said with a smile. "I remember meeting Johnny's mother at that farm. I was sent by my parents to get some corn, which I did mind you, but not after sitting on a fence with prettiest girl I'd ever seen. In fact, I met her riding the same motorcycle that Johnny's riding right now" said Johnny's dad. "Really? Tell me more" said Sunset, intrigued by the story. Johnny's dad nodded "yes, we named her Grace and since I found love riding her I knew Johnny would as well. So I gave her to him as soon as he got his motorcycle license" he said. Sunsets heart practically melted "you have such good parents, they remind me of my best friends" she said to Johnny. "We aim to please" said Johnny's mother. Author's Note Enough mushy romance and love. Things are going to go sideways in the next chapter. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter three //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter three The sun was setting when they left. It was beautiful and Sunset and Johnny embraced it as much as they could on the ride home. Sunset parked in her small garage, waving goodbye to Johnny as he took off, but after a few moments Sunset heard gunfire. Running out she found Johnny being gunned down by two people in a car. Doing a u-turn, they sped away. Sunset sprinted to Johnny and was relieved to see that he was still alive. However, the relief was short lived for she knew that he was dying. Sunset rode her bike as fast as it would go (150 mph) to her towns general hospital. She brought Johnny into the main lobby "HELP, someone help him! He was shot!" She yelled. Paramedics immediately came rushing to her and put Johnny on a stretcher. Sunset watched them wheel Johnny away to the ER. Sunset texted her friends and told them what happened. Her friends appeared 10 minutes later and immediately hugged her. They waited in the waiting room for hours. Sunsets mind was racing 'please let him be ok. I don't want to lose him' she thought to herself. A doctor suddenly walked up to them "You're the girl that brought Johnny Blaze in?" He asked. Sunset shot up out of her chair "yes, my name is Sunset Shimmer and these are my friends. They are with me" she responded quickly. "Come with me" the doctor said. He led them down a few hallways before coming to a large window. Sunset put her hands on the window and looked in. She saw Johnny with an assortment of tubes going into him "is he going to be ok?" She asked. The doctor looked down, took a deep breath, then looked a her again "I'm sorry, but there's just too much damage to his body for him to heal" he said. Sunset looked at the doctor with a sudden fire in her eyes "what did you just say" it wasn't really a question. She grabbed him by his coat and pushed him against a wall "you're a fucking doctor, you're supposed to be saving people" Sunset said with absolute fury in her voice. She was about to throw a punch but her friends grabbed her and pulled her away. "You are fucking useless! You are...you are...." Sunset broke down into tears, dropped to her knees, and began crying. Security arrived but they just saw a crying girl. "Sunset, stop! This isn't going to change anything!" Yelled Rarity. She knew Rarity was right so she got up, sprinted out of the hospital, mounted her bike and sped away. Sunset came to a stop in the middle of an empty highway, letting herself fall to the pavement. She slowly crawled away from her bike before getting to her knees and screamed into the night sky. Falling onto all fours her mind began racing again but the thoughts this time were broader. 'My one true love is going to die. What am I going to say to his parents? Will they hate me? Will they ever be the same? I don't want them to change, I just got to know them. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?' A realization suddenly dawned on her. It was them. The people who shot him. They are the reason for her suffering. An ideology sprung to life in Sunsets mind, evil must be destroyed "I'm going to make them suffer every bit of pain they caused me" Sunset declared in a voice filled with venom. She gets on her motorcycle again and rides to Johnny's house. When she arrived she got out a key that Johnny gave her and went inside. Sunset marched to Johnny's room pulled a case from under his bed. She opened it and found what she was looking for, a shotgun and a box of shotgun shells. It was a stockless leaver-action with a sling that carries more ammo. She loads the gun and puts more shells on the sling. She marches back outside and gets on her bike, slinging the lethal weapon over her shoulder. Before she could take off, Sunset heard a voice "meet me at the town graveyard, I have an offer for you" it was masculine and echoed through her mind. Sunset suddenly had a very powerful urge to go there, so she went. Later..... Sunset slowly came to a stop at the graveyard, it was foggy. She got off her motorcycle and drew the shotgun, ready for anything. It suddenly became very cold as frost started to appear on the plants and gravestones. The figure of a man with a cane appeared out of the fog and walked up to her "there is no need for your weapon. I'm here to help you" he said. Sunset didn't lower the shotgun "how could you possibly help me? My one true love is dying and I couldn't save him" she said as she started to tear up again. "Do not cry little one" the man said as he wiped away her tears "I can save him" Sunset was shocked "you can?" She asked with hope, lowering the shotgun. "Yes I can, but it will come at a cost. Not money, but something more valuable, your soul. I can also give you the power to have revenge on the ones that hurt your true love" he said as he pulled out a scroll. "Just sign here and we have a deal" he concluded. Sunset became confused 'what dose he mean by.... no, don't question it, if this can save Johnny I should do it'. She cut her thumb on a small blade at the top of the scroll and then let a drop of her blood land on the signing line. The strange man smiled wickedly and rolled up the scroll. He then began to change, his eyes started glowing, fangs grew from his mouth, horns grew from his head. Because Johnny is religious he had explained a great deal about the Catholic religion to Sunset. She had also seen a picture that look exactly like the man in front of her, it was Satan, the Devil. "You mortals are so easy to trick" said satan. Sunset tried to make a break for her bike but she suddenly couldn't move, like someone was controlling her. "I have your soul, so I now have you" When she was turned around by Satan he raised his left hand pointing his index and middle fingers at Sunset. Two beams of fire came the fingers and went into Sunsets eyes. Sunset screamed, she felt like she was being filled with fire but she was kept standing by the unknown force. "Why are you screaming? I'm giving you power beyond your imagination, this should feel good" Satan teased knowing full well that this was painful for her. But he didn't care, Sunset Shimmer belonged to him now. The beams of fire stopped as Satan lowered his hand and Sunset fell flat on the ground. "As the bearer of the Spirit of Vengeance, you shall bring me evil souls. Be my soul hunter and Johnny Blaze will be healed. May the spirit give you great power. Destruction shall follow you wherever you go" Satan said with glee. "But be weary, your powers will only work at night. However, that's also the time evil is most active, so it will all work out" Satan summoned a chain from under his coat "this may look like an ordinary chain but when its infused with your powers it becomes a very powerful weapon, the classic weapon of the Ghost Rider. The same will also happen to anything you infuse with you power" he finished. Sunset grunted in pain as she tries to stand up but the fiery pain of her new powers brought her down again. Satan laughed demonically again at the sight of Sunset in pain as he disappeared into the fog again, leaving the chain behind. The pain had finally subsided but she still felt very warm. She was very disoriented, not quite sure what had happened. She felt a sixth sense activate within her and she could fell evil nearby. The burning sensation came back but this time it was worse. She screamed again as fire started to burning her flesh away but for some reason, it suddenly felt good. The pain turned into pleasure as the power of hell started surging through her. She actually started laughing the power felt so good. The rest of her face had burned away as well as her hair, leaving only a flaming skull with two tiny dots of Fire in the eye sockets. The Ghost Rider was back. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 Direct continuation of previous chapter.... Sunset, now Ghost Rider, used the hellfire to turn the once short, dull spikes on her shoulders into ones that were long and sharp. She then picked up the chain and the shotgun. She pointed her index finger at the bike and shot a beam of fire at the bike. This infused the same powers she had into the motorcycle. The shiny neon green paint burned away and repainted the bike black. Sharp spikes also appeared, five on each side of the motorcycle and six on the front in a 2x6 configuration. The wheels were also now made of pure hellfire. The Spirit of Vengeance within her had endowed her with so much power and it felt good. Ghost Rider also made a secret compartment in the paneling of the bike and put the shotgun inside. After closing it she wiped the chain over her left shoulder. Causing it to loop around her a few times before finally coming to rest on her left shoulder. The Ghost Rider got on her new Hell-cycle and laughed fore she knew were to look for who she was looking for, she could sense them. She followed her new sense to where the tainted souls are but she suddenly stopped. She could sense evil that was closer, she'll get them both, they couldn't hide from her. In an alleyway.... "Please, stop, why are you doing this" an old man begged on the ground. A young girl was kicking him "because grandpa, your will did say that when you die all the the money goes to the granddaughter, me. But now you try to go to our lawyer to change it, I'm not going to let that happen" the girl explained. She pulled out a gun and was about to kill her grandpa but "HAY" a dark voice called out. The voice was rough and deep but sounded oddly feminine. The young girl turned around to find another girl in form fitting leather clothes but her head was a flaming skull with two tiny dots of fire in the eye sockets, like pupils. The fiery girl pointed at the granddaughter "YOU ARE A SOUL TAINTED WITH SIN" The Ghost Rider said. Before the granddaughter could kill her grandfather the Fire girl unwinded the chain from around her. She then ignited the chain with her powers and whipped it at the granddaughter, wrapping it around her. The granddaughter screamed as burst into flames and with a tug, the fiery girl turned her into ash. Killing her and sending her to hell. Fire girl wrapped the chain around her body as she walked up to the grandfather. "INNOCENT SOUL" she concluded as she crouched down, pulled out his cellphone and dialled 911. "Thank you, whoever you are" the old man thanked as the fire girl put the phone down next to him. This fiery being save his life but he didn't know who she was having never seen her before. The Fiery being said "I AM GHOST RIDER. I SEND TAINTED SOULS TO WHERE THEY BELONG, IN HELL" Walking out of the alleyway Ghost Rider puts two fingers between her teeth and whistles. The roar of a high performance engine infused with demonic power was heard, and was getting closer. Ghost Riders Hell-cycle stopped in front of her and she got on, speeding away. Ghost Riders targets are based outside of town and in a cave, Ghost Rider could feel them. When Ghost Rider approached the cave two armed guards opened fire at her with their weapons. The bullets simply melted when they came into contact with her. Ghost Rider opened the secret compartment and pulled out the shotgun, infusing it with her power. With one hand, the Rider fired two fireballs at the guards which disintegrated them instantly. Parking at the cave entrance, Ghost Rider dismounted the bike and entered the cave. It was a massacre, the gang members were ether shot or whipped. There was one left, it was the man that pulled the trigger and shot Johnny. She was going to make him suffer the most. He tried shooting the Rider but it had no effect. Ghost Rider threw her chain at him and it entangled him. Using her new super human strength, Ghost Rider lifted him up by his coat and looked him in the eyes. "YOUR SOUL IS STAINED WITH THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT. YOU CAUSED THEM SO MUCH PAIN AND SUFFERING. NOW LOOK INTO MY EYES. FEEL THEIR PAIN" Ghost Rider monologued. The gangster tried to look away but an unknown force was keeping his eyes locked into the Riders eyes. He screamed as he witnessed the events of his crimes and sins from the victims POV. He felt himself being shot, raped, beaten, castrated, drowned and much more pain. He couldn't take it, his body couldn't take it, it was too much pain. His heart stopped from the shock to his nerve system and he died, his now burning soul going to hell. When she exited the cave she felt the presence of more evil souls in the sleeping town, evil never sleeps. Later.... After her crusade Ghost Rider found herself in the light of the sun while on a country road, she stopped. Her powers slowly seeped away and she grabbed her face because of the painful sensation of feeling her own skin grow back. She was not the Ghost Rider anymore, just Sunset Shimmer. She slowly got up again and walked to her bike and mounted it. The bike was lime green again but the secret compartment was still there with the shotgun in it. After getting to her home she parked in the garage and entered the house. Her body was so unnaturally warm "it feels like my insides are on fire" Sunset said. She stripped nude while walking to her bathroom and stepped into the shower. She turned the cold onto max and water rained down on her. This would sound strange to most people but she found the freezing temperature of the water on her very warm body felt good. After two hours Sunset finally exited the shower but she noticed something as she did. 'Steam? I must be very, very warm' she thought to herself. She was very tired from not sleeping all night so she decided to have a nap. Getting dressed into a tank top and jean shorts Sunset walked upstairs to her bed and collapsed on it, drifting to sleep quickly. Meanwhile.... A pink girl with cotton candy hair was baking cookies for her friends in her kitchen. "They had it very rough last night but cookies always help" she said. The figure of a man with a cane suddenly formed from a mist behind her, he had horns and smiled wickedly. As he slowly snuck up from behind her his cane morphed into a twisted, demonic ax. He lifted it up above his head and swung it down, splitting the girls head in two. She fell to the ground instantly with blood already pooling around her corpse, the became a mist again. A boy who witnessed the scene screamed. The man reappeared in a boutique and without making a single sound, he walked upstairs. He came to a door and opened slowly and found a girl and a boy together in bed, the girl being his target. She was white with dark purple hair. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter five //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter five "Sunset! Sunset!" A voice called out, stirring Sunset from her sleep but she simply rolled over. She then heard her bedroom door open "Sunset" this time the voice was clearer and Sunset instantly recognized it. "Johnny!!!" Sunset cried as she bolted up from her bed and gave him a bone crushing hug. "I'm so happy to see you" she squealed as tears of joy streamed down her face. "As am I. The doctors said they couldn't explain it, last night I was going to die but this morning they gave me a clean bill of health. I think god gave me a second chance and I thank him for that. Now come on, we need to tell my parents and your friends the news" Johnny said. Sunset got dressed in her biker clothes again and followed Johnny outside. Each mounted their respective motorcycle and drove into Canterlot. 'God didn't give you a second chance, the Devil did' thought Sunset on the ride their. It didn't take long to get into Canterlot and when they arrived a police officer at the entrance signaled them to pull over. They turned off their bikes "what's the problem officer" Johnny asked. "There has been two murders in the city last night. We're not accusing either of you but I'm authorized to check every vehicle that enters or exits the city" the police officer said. "Well, check away, we have nothing to hide" said Johnny. The officer nodded and brought his search dog to them. Sunset actually did have something to hide, the secret compartment with the shotgun. She however kept a straight face and hopped that the dog wouldn't find anything. The dog didn't even bark once when it sniffed her bike and she found that strange. 'Aren't dogs trained to smell firearms?' Sunset pondered. "You're good to go" said the police officer. "Thanks, see you later" said Johnny as he and Sunset started their motorcycles again and got back on the road. Meanwhile Sunset was still pondering why the dog didn't smell the shotgun. 'Maybe I'm not completely powerless when the sun is up' she reasoned 'I'll also have to find the evil souls that murdered those people when night comes' she concluded. They parked in front of Twilights library, Johnny and Sunset dismounted their bike and started walking towards the shop. Johnny stopped abruptly when he felt his phone buzz in his pocket and took it out. It was a text message from his dad saying 'Meet me and your mother at Denny's' Johnny puts his phone away. "Sunset, I need to go meet my parents, can you tell your friends our news without me" he asked. "Sure" Sunset shrugged. Johnny got on his bike after a few revs he took off. Sunset entered the library and found four of her six best friends, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Applejack. "Hello everyone" Sunset said cheerfully but her friends had sad faces when they looked up at her, Fluttershy was even crying. "What's wrong?" Sunset asked as her smile fell. "Something terrible has happened Sunset" said Twilight. She took a deep breath and finally said "you've probably heard of the two murders that happened last night". Sunset nodded, her chest tense now. "Pinkie Pie and Rarity were the people that were murdered" said Twilight. Sunsets heart suddenly felt like lead "what, no. That can't be true. It must be a mistake" Sunset said. Applejack took her hat off "I'm sorry, as much as I want this to be a mistake, it isn't" she said. Sunset knew Applejack would never lie to her. Tears welled up in Sunsets eyes before she ran out of the store, got on her motorcycle, and sped away to the hospital. When she arrived she ran in up to the front desk "I'm a friend of Rarity and Pinkie Pie, I must see them" Sunset said. The man at the desk typed up the names into the computer "I'm sorry but their dead" he said. More tears rolled out of Sunsets eyes as she shook her head "No, they can't be" she said. "I can take you to the morgue if you want" the man offered. Sunset nodded "yes, take me there" she said. She needed prof. So she and the man walked downstairs to the basement of the hospital, where the morgue was. They came to a door marked 'morgue' and the man opened the door "your friends are in freezers C-16 and C-17" the man said before leaving. Sunset ran down the endless halls of the morgue before coming to freezers C-16 and 17. She opened them and almost vomited at the sight, Pinkie Pies head was completely split in half down to the neck and Rarity was cut in half across the torso. Both toe-tags said that they died from axe lacerations. Sunset stumbled against the wall and cried for all she's worth, but suddenly became cold. She could see her breath and feel the tears freeze on her face. Sunset then heard a demonic laugh and slowly turned to her left, where the laughter came from. There stood Satan in all his glory "I believe that the toe-tags are referring to this axe" he said, holding up his cane as it morphed into a demonic looking axe. Sunset immediately put the peaces together in her head, the fire of vengeance burned even hotter within her. Sunset slowly raised an arm and pointed at Satan "You killed them" she concluded with her voice practically dripping with venom. "Why yes I did, and it felt good" said Satan. Sunset could feel the Ghost Rider powers coming to her again. She yelled in pain as her flesh burned away but it soon subsided. "YOU HAVE SPILLED INNOCENT BLOOD" Ghost Rider said as she moved forward, but she suddenly stopped. It was that invisible force again. Satan laughed "have you already forgotten? I own your soul and that means that I own you" Satan said. He lunged forward and grabbed the Ghost Riders throat and pushed her to the ground. Sunset felt all that power seep out of her again as her head and hair grew back. She felt so weak, even breathing was hard at the moment. "Be carful of what you do. The deal states that I would heal his gunshot wound, not keep him alive" Satan laughed as he disappeared into a mist. It became warmer again as Sunset gasped for sweet, wonderful air. She now finally had the strength again to stand up, looking over to her best friends before she left. She drove her motorcycle to the top of a hill overlooking Canterlot. Sunset fell into deep thought as she looked at the sun setting. 'It would seem that I can still become the Ghost Rider during the day when the sun is blocked by something. However, I have more pressing things to think about right now' she thought. The Devil had killed two of her closest friends. How long would it be till he kills Johnny. He did say he could kill Johnny whenever he wanted. The one she loves with all her heart. She needed to put as much distance between herself and Johnny to keep him alive. However, she knew he would try to follow her so she needed to find a way to keep him safe from her. After thinking for a moment it hit her, suicide, who would follow someone who's dead. Sunset traveled to the bridge crossing over the flood control river. She hid her bike so she could summon it later. Sunset then got up on the barrier, spread her arms and leaned forward, letting gravity take over. Several cars screeched to a halt at the scene. Some people got out and looked over the edge but Sunset was nowhere to be found. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 Under normal circumstances Sunset would have died, the water was very shallow. She had simply been swept away by the water away from the bridge. As soon as Sunset was sure nobody would see her, she climbed out. She than whistled, summoning her hell cycle. When she got on, Sunset zoomed away and out of the city. Sunset thou about Johnny, he one true love. The man who saw past her sins and returned the love she gave him. But she's made of sin now, she did the worst thing anyone could have made. Making a deal with the devil. Sunset stopped on the top of a hill and looked at the sunset. "I'm sorry for leaving you Johnny but it's to keep you safe. Besides, how could you possibly love me. I let my selfish desires and sins turn me back into a she-demon, back to where I was. I became greedy for power again, the power to have revenge and I whew that revenge was a sin, I should've known better." Said Sunset Shimmer as she began to tear up. Sunset continued with "Despite all that it has become my duty to protect and avenge the innocent whenever their blood is spilled. I love you with every part of my heart." "Goodbye". She finished. Sunset then left on her motorcycle, never intending to return. The next day... "If there's anyone who can find Sunset, it's my brother" Twilight said with confidence. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack and Johnny had been looking for Sunset Shimmer all morning. They wanted to try and comfort her for the loss of Pinkie Pie and Rarity. After hours of searching they decided to go to the police were Twilights brother shining armour works as a police officer. When they entered the Canterlot police station they found shining armour at the front desk. "Excuse me Shining, we're looking for Sunset Shimmer, do you know where she is?" Twilight asked her bother. "Of course" he said Shining Armour typed the name into the computer but when the results came up his face became sad since he knew that Sunset was their friend. He didn't want to say it but he needed to "she's classified as deceased" he said. All the girls and Johnny gasped "W-what, that's not possible, she has to be alive" Johnny said, hoping that the police database was wrong. "I'm sorry, but it says here that she committed suicide yesterday in the evening" Shining said and pulled up security camera footage on a bridge. They saw Sunset climb up on to the barrier "no, don't do it Sunset!" Fluttershy cried but she and the others could only watch in horror as Sunset fell out of frame, off the bridge. Johnny collapsed, curled up into a fetal position and started crying. The four girls helped him into a sitting position "this is my fault. I should've been there for her" he said. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, and Applejack kept trying to comfort him but it was no use. Even when they all returned home they couldn't deny it. Sunset Shimmer was gone and never coming back. The next day... A funeral was held at Johnny's home town graveyard, Johnny cried the whole time. The speeches given by everyone there was very heart warming. Johnny however couldn't talk, what he and Sunset had couldn't be put into words. The love between them was too special. Even after the funeral ended Johnny stayed for hours afterward. He eventually went home but he stayed up very late, wondering why Sunset had to leave. Was it for sins he had done in the past? Was Sunset so special she was needed by god in heaven. The image of Sunset as an angel fighting hideous demons from hell crossed his mind. He cracked a small smile at the thought before getting to his knees. "Lord, I'm lost. You know how special Sunset was to me but now she's gone. Were you bringing judgement down on me as punishment for my past sins? Was she needed for a higher purpose and she needed to be sacrificed. Please give me a sign. I need your guidance" Johnny prayed. He got in to bed but he didn't go to sleep right away. The bed felt cold and empty with out Sunset, just like his heart. He looked out the window at the night sky, it was filled with beautiful stars. "Sunset, if can hear me, I love you with all my heart and my love is for you alone. No girl could ever match the love you gave back. I hope you are in a better place and I promise to pray to you every night. Goodbye Sunset" Johnny said to the stars, hoping one of them was Sunsets soul. His love for Sunset was so powerful he would not marry another girl. He would remember her for the rest of his life and when died, and he will, Johnny will be reunited with the one he loves most. Not even death would separate them. Elsewhere... Sunset was a she-demon again and she kept wondering why. She concluded that it was her destiny to be one. To be a vile, ugly, terrifying, and destructive creature with powers beyond what anyone else could dream of, just like before. She now had powers come from that of nightmares, from the deepest depths of hell where only the hottest of hellfire burns. There was another reason why she left. Johnny was religious and here Sunset was, a pawn owned by the devil. Johnny would hate her. No amount of love that Johnny had for her could keep them together, besides..... Who would love a she-demon?
