Mornin'

It was an early autumn morning in the western parts of Equestria. The sun was just beginning to rise above the horizon, slowly covering the valley below it in its majestic sunlight. A big rooster sat perched on a fence and gave its usual morning holler, birds were already chirping and flying around the sky to prepare for winter, and squirrels darted across the ground, looking for a safe spot to store their acorns for the winter, and a single mouse climbed on top of the platform above the swaying sign reading Dashie-Apple Acres where it cleaned its face for a brief minute before being snagged by a passing eagle.

The sky was bright and blue without a cloud in the sky, and in the meadow beneath it, tall trees decorated with lovely red fall leaves and similarly-coloured bushes lined the dusty path leading to the farm sitting at the end of the road. It was a regular old, run-of-the-mill farm, with a chicken coop for the rooster and the other chickens, and a muddy pens where the pigs were snoozing away in the mud.

In the middle of the farm was a large red barn, with the sunlight reflecting off its large closed doors, and a big silo not too far on the left side. The whole entire farm was surrounded by apple trees, miles and miles of apple trees, each one discouraged with its own variant of the plump, juicy, red-coloured fruit. Big, small, juicy, dry, red, green, fresh, rotten, all kinds of different apples, all ready and waiting to be bucked.

Next to the barn was a big farmhouse, which was mostly quiet except for the ringing of the wind chimes on the front porch. Inside the house was the usual arrangement of rooms: a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms, a guest bedroom, and at the very end of the house, a master bedroom, with a big bed that was currently home to two sleeping ponies, who were passed out on top of each other after the a tiring afternoon of work yesterday.

The pony on top was an orange earth pony named Applejack. She was in quite the position at the moment, as her rump was sticking up in the air, with the red sheets pulled back revealing her cutie mark of three apples visible with golden lock of hair tied in a pigtail that was currently strewn over the back of her had, as she snored loudly and drooled on the cheek of her lovely wife, the cyan pegasus pony sleeping beneath her.

Her name was Rainbow Dash, and she was, as she frequently put it, the greatest flyer in all of Equestria, and the real owner of the farm she and her sweetheart were currently living on, even though Applejack had found the place, renovated it, and grew half the apples. And if that wasn’t enough, Rainbow had insisted that they named the farm after them both, because it was a "team effort".

But between her slick rainbow-coloured hairdo, and her sexy tail covering her wet taunting flank, Applejack loved every inch of her wife's beautiful body, even if she hardly used it for any work.

The alarm clock buzzed suddenly, playing the enchanting melody of Countess Coloratura's "I Am Just A Pony". The tune slowly stirred Rainbow Dash from her sleep, until she was fully awake and feeling the weight of Applejack asleep on her chest. "Ugh, babe, get up." She said with a giggle as she moved a hoof through her wife's curly locks, and when that wasn’t enough she strained herself and flittered her wings, trying to get up. "Man, you need to lay off the apple pies. I can’t even use my wings with you on me."

She had to poke Applejack in the forehead a few times until she too woke up and deduced her awkward position. "Oh, heh, sorry 'bout that, Dashie. We musta had quite a time last night. I can barely even remember what happened."She laughed and gave Rainbow a wet squeaky good morning kiss on the snout. Rainbow smiled gently and rolled her eyes. "You dared Pinkie Pie you could drink more warm apple cider than her. I practically had to drag you back home, you were such a mess."

The couple laughed as Applejack climbed out of bed and grabbed her brown cowpony hat off the nightstand and placed it on her head above her hair, which was ruffled up from her sleep. "Alright-y then. Ah'm all rested up now, so ah shouldn’t have any trouble makin' us some scrambled eggs for breakfast." At the mention of breakfast and eggs, Rainbow's stomach rumbles, and she blushed and rubbed a hoof over her belly as Applejack laughed.

"Heh, yeah. Guess I worked up an appetite from that little hoedown." She opened the closet and pulled on her leather jacket and began flying towards the bedroom door. "After breakfast I’ll just kick back and relax while you-"

"Oh no ya don’t!" Applejack said as she pulled her wife back by her tail. "Ah‘ve been doin' all the work on this here farm since we moved in and all you ever do is sit back on those rusty haunches of yours and spout that there Wonderbolts trivia." She shook her head. "Sometimes ah feel like ah'm doin' all the work around here. Maybe ah should sell ya to the flea market and hire that donkey we met on our last honeymoon."

Rainbow Dash just laughed. "Pfft, come on AJ. I’m just trying to keep you motivated. Besides, the apples taste even BETTER when you buck them yourself." She flew down and hugged Applejack and felt her shaven back hooves. "Those slim hooves of yours are like magic."

Applejack just smiled and kissed the back of Rainbow's furry neck. "Come on now. Let’s get some food in our bellies and talk about it."

After quickly fixing up their manes in the bathroom, they sat over a healthy breakfast of syrup-covered eggs, bacon, and, of course, apples, and Rainbow stuffed her face like she hadn’t eaten in moons. Applejack just gave a warm smile as she rested her head on her hoof while watching her beautiful wife and piled some more eggs onto her plate. ”Now take it easy, girl. Don’t want a hard-working pony like you in the hospital with a stomach-ache."

Rainbow lowered her glass of cider and glared at AJ. "Oh, is that sarcasm? Because I can do sarcasm too. Like, uh, at least I remember to put all my clothes in the hamper when I take them off." She said and sat back hooves crossed with a smirk. Applejack rolled her eyes. "Those are mah work clothes... so obviously you’d never wear them!"

Rainbow groaned and slumped in her chair. "You know I don’t like that kind of work, babe. It takes forever to do and it leaves me hot and starving."

Applejack chuckled and tossed her hair back. "Trust me, Dashie, you’re hot enough as it is. You don’t even know what chores ah'm talkin' about. At least help me with the dishes afterwards."

"I just hate the apple bucking." Rainbow explained as they were doing the dishes. "It’s so boring and exhausting. I’m practically sweating just talking about it." She reached over and turned on the fan. As she did, she noticed a small winged creature standing in the window. It's big brown wings were stretched out, and it was only there for a few seconds, as it was scared away by Rainbow's screaming as she jumped into her wife's. "AJ, it’s a bat! Go kill it, or something!"

"Aw, calm down there, sweetie pie. It’s gone." Applejack said with a mocking laugh as she nuzzled her wife's nose and put her on the ground. She leaned over and gazed out the window at the bat as it flew towards a big apple tree on the hill in the sun, and it plucked a big round juicy apple from a branch and flew off with it. "Ah knew it! It’s fruit bat season again! Those damn bats are gonna take all those apples from the farm if we don’t do somethin', Rain-BOW!"

Applejack yelped as she felt her sweetheart wrap her hooves around her rear end tightly. "Come on, Jack-y! Let’s fool around! Those bats can wait!" She started gently kissing Applejack's butt while looking up at her with her big beautiful eyes. "Please? Promise I’ll go easy on ya this time!" Applejack looked between her wife and the farm outside. She didn’t wan those bats getting at her apples, but on the other hoof, and she needed Rainbow's help, for once, but she couldn’t say no to her beautiful lover's face. "Alright, come here you! I’ll show you how it’s really done!"

AJ turned around and picked Rainbow up in her arms and they began to make out as they moved out of the kitchen and up the stairs to the bedroom. "Come on, that all ya got? Do me 'til I’m seeing stars, you filthy whore!" Rainbow said excitedly as she climbed onto the bed and stuck out her pussy towards the cowgirl.

"Oh yeah, you just keep calling me filthy, girl." AJ taunted as she reached into a drawer nearby and pulled out her special strap-on dick Goldie Delicious had lent her that she always kept locked up somewhere in case the right moment happened to come. She then mounted Rainbow on the front of the bed and began plowing her like there was no tomorrow. Rainbow whined against her quick movements, wishing Soarin could have given it to her like this when they were dating. Applejack's thrusts were extra hard and much more exhilarating than what the strap-on usually had to offer.

"Oh yeah, harder!” Rainbow exclaimed as she made the thing wet with her cum.

After a long time of beautiful sex, the two happy mare’s collapsed on the bed, gasping for air, as most of their nights usually ended since they had settled down on the farm. But now it was high noon, and the bright sun was shining through the bedroom window. "Alright-y. You’ve had your fun, Dashie, now it’s time to go to work." Applejack said as she rolled out of bed and grabbed some harnesses as though she had just woken up from a nap.

Rainbow groaned and covered her eyes with her sweaty hooves. "Come on, babe. How about I just stay back and clean up. Heh, you sure have been leaving a pretty big mess lately."

"Rainbow Dash, ah am tired of you laying around while ah have to do all the work! What would Zephyr Breeze say if he saw you like this?"

The pegasus fanned herself as she rolled her eyes. "He can’t. He got stabbed by that Minotaur in the alleyway because he didn’t want to pay him for that massage, remember?" She quickly realized that this did not help prove her point.

"Yeah, ah am gonna miss him. He was always good for a laugh. Heh. You remember when he got kicked out by Fluttershy so he went to live in the woods like a wild animal?"

"Yeah..." Suddenly, Rainbow got an idea. "Hey, speaking of forest. Do you remember the big competition we had that fall? Where we raced each other through the woods?"

Applejack raises her head as she tried to remember, and a big smile crept across her face when she did. "Oh, yeah. That was the first fall after Twilight came to Ponyville. Doesn’t that feel like forever ago?" They laughed as they remembered that funny fall day.

"Yeah, well, I just had an idea." Rainbow said with a clever smirk. "What do you say to a little wager, babe?" Applejack looked at her smugly. "Oh, now Rain-y, you’d know whatever it was I’d win it in an instant, but this certainly isn’t time for-"

"That’s Just it! It sort of a "work wager"." Rainbow explained as she returned from the bathroom super fast with a towel to dry herself off. "What if we had a little contest of sorts to see who could do the most work bucking apples?" She and Applejack had been married for years by now, and she knew the cowpony just loved competition.

AJ thought for a minute and chuckled softly. "Well, considering my opponent, ah know for sure ah’d win!" She turned to Rainbow with a determined glare. "Alright, what they hay? What are the odds?"

Rainbow thought for a minute. "How about the winner never has to do a chore of their choosing again, and the loser has to do that chore forever, and no bellyaching about it!" She poked Applejack in the chest as the mare thought it over some.

"Huh. Well, ah hope you’re haunches are ready for some serious bucking, boo, 'cause I’m in like a hog in a house made of bricks!" She reached out and spit on her hoof. "And maybe leave some of the haycakes for me too."

Rainbow grinned and pit in her own hoof and they shook on it. "All the haycakes you want. It’s on!"
