Predators: War of Planets

The building was now completely on fire and there was falling debris from the roof blocking the entrances. The hunters were surrounded by a towering inferno of flames and destruction.

"SHIT!" Spike shouted in panic at the predicament they were in.

The hunters were trying to help the other civilians, but none would awake.

"FUCK! Nobody's waking up!" City said in frustration as he tried to wake a few civilians.

As the hunters, Celestia, Luna and Stellar tried to awaken the audience, a loud scream of fear was heard. The heroes turned and saw the Dazzlings in danger from the falling debris.

"NO!" Spike shouted as the debris fell from the building. As he struggled the get up, an large wooden pillar fell on him. He tried to lift it up and pull, but it was too heavy for him. Just as he was about to give up, Celtic managed lift it and held out his hand.

"Come on!" Celtic shouted

Spike saw the Dazzlings were still in danger and rushed to them. He saw they were trapped on the stage from the flaming debris and were close to being fried.

Spike used his bio-mask to scan for any material to put out the fire and saw a nearby fire extinguisher. He destroyed the door and grabbed it and rushed to the girls, putting the fire out with the extinguisher.

As he helped them, there were sirens heard outside as the police and fire department arrived at the scene. The hunters and the heroines were evacuating the civilians and the fire fighters helped them reach the paramedics.

Greyback saw on the ceiling some sprinklers and threw his shuriken, with sliced the sprinklers lots off and allowed the water to ease down as Spike helped the girls, carrying them each on his shoulder, chest or back.

The heroes managed to reach outside and saw the fire department was helping the civilians and evacuating the area.

"Everyone ok?" Jungle asked

The others nodded as Spike said "What the hell happened in there?"

"I don't know, I didn't detect any flammable material on my scanners." Scar said

"Me neither." Chopper said

"Wait...where are the Rainbooms?" Spike asked

They looked around and noticed they were indeed not around the people being career for by the paramedics. City then said something that sent a chill down their spines.

"Guys..they're inside the building."

His words made their eyes widen with shock and fear.

"WHAT?!" Spike said in shock

He began to run back into the building with the hunters seeing him as Stellar said

"Spike, what are you doing?!"

"You'll get killed in there?" Chopper said with worry

Spike continued to run to the entrance and enter the building, not heeding the protests of the others.

Fake Spike was watching the whole scene through his sniper rifle, he pulled out his phone and said

"Alright, the baits in, send in the Cyber Soldiers."

The voice on the other line of the phone said "Yes Sir!"

A chopper was seen and landed on the sandy beach ground, soldiers in elite blacks ops gear arrived and went to him. One member said

"Orders sir?"

Fake Spike said "Send In half your group to get in and kill the target, you and the other half come with me."

"Yes Sir! You heard him! Move!" The Mercenary said as the soldiers stealthily began to half to the burned building.

Fake Spike then called another number on his phone and said "Yo Wind Rider, you and your friends are up, can you cut them out? Without anesthetic like a sick bowel. For the Mistress."

A different male voice was heard and said with glee and pleasure "Yes, they will know what pain is when we come...."

"Just remember to time it. Tomorrow...they will be cut and you will gain your pay."

With that, Fake Spike hung up and left the beach.

Spike was trying to find the girls, but he had to get through a number of obstacles like the blocked entrances or the large debris that was around the charred and still burning down building. As he walked, he picked up 7 heat signatures on his bio-mask and said with recognition

"That must be the girls, I gotta find a way to get them out of here."

As he walked, he picked up another heat signature and said in confusion

"What? Who's the eighth one?"

He saw an knocked out and unconscious Songbird Serenade on the floor, having passed out from the smoke.

"Songbird Serenade?" Spike said woth surprise at the famous singer.

He checked her pulse with his finger on her neck and bio-mask and was relieved she wasn't dead and carried her on his back, continuing his search for the girls.

As he went to the destroyed stage, he went to the backstage and saw the whole area was a mess. As he explored, his bio-mask picked up a few heartbeats and off was in one of the backstage rooms that the singer's would use to relax and practice before they did their performance. He looked until he heard a loud sound from one of the doors, he rushed to it until a large ounce of debris from the ceiling blocked the entrance.

"DAMMIT!" Spike shouted in annoyance

He saw the door and used his vision and saw through the girls were using their powers to try and penetrate the door, and were nearly successful. He pulled out his plasma pistol and fired a charged shot at the blockade, incinerating the obstacle and giving him a chance to break the door down with a swift kick.

The girls saw the door was broken down and Hunter was here.

"What the hell?!" Rainbow said

"Come with me if you wanna live!" Shadow Hunter said

Knowing there was no other way out the building, they followed him out the room and rushed to reach the entrance.

"Hurry! The buildings gonna fall!" Applejack shouted

"Keep running!" Twilight said

They sprinted as fast as they could to the entrance and were almost there. Just as they reached the entrance, they lunged and jumped out the exit as the building collapsed on the ground.

The heroes and hunters looked wkth different reactions at the destroyed Beach Fest building as the fire department continued to try and suppress the fire. Spike meanwhile saw no time to gaze and went to the paramedics with the unconscious Songbirds and said in a deep, mechanical, distorted voice from his mask.

"Hurry, she's passed put from inhaling the smoke, get her to a hospital as soon as possible."

"No problem." The paramedic said as he placed a breathing mask on Songbird and placed her in the back of the ambulance.

The hunters reunited from far away from the situation, cloaked themselves and returned back to their beach house. After they changed into their normal clothes Greyback said in concern "Son are you ok?"

Spike nodded and said " Yeah dad, I was saving a few innocents in the fire, including the girls."

The hunters nodded as Spike saw the girls being treated by the paramedics and fire fighters.

The Dazzlings and Stellar were however, not so happy as they approached Spike with worried scowls.

"Spike?! What were you thinking?!" Adagio said with a hint of anger and shock

Spike only said "I'm sorry but the girl's were gonna get killed in there!"

"But you risked your own life as well!" Aria said

"Look I know! I was going to get killed in there and maybe die, but you guys were in danger too!"

The girls only sighed as Sonata said "We know, it's just we don't wanna lose you while your doing your thing to protect the world."

"One of the few aspects of this job, you gotta make sure everyone is safe, no matter who it is." Spike said with a slight shrug.

"And with great power, comes great responsibility." Stellar said

The girls nodded as they knew he had a point and hugged him, with the hunters joining as to how he risked his life to keep 8 innocents safe.

After the hug was broken, Spike asked "So, what should we do now?"

"I think we should get some rest. It's been a long day." Jungle said

The others nodded and headed to their rooms to gain some shuteye.
