It was Wednesday, and it was time for school. Spike was walking hand to hand with Adagio Dazzle in the halls. With some of the students giving looks of shock as to how they were now dating. Right now it was lunch and all the students were eating their food.

Adagio and Spike had sat with each other alone, with a few students giving looks of surprise at the couple. In fact, 6 girls came in and saw the whole thing.

Twilight was still sad over how Spike rejected their friendship and the moment she and the other girls entered, the sight shocked them.

There stood Adagio Dazzle, the other most popular and biggest rival of the Rainbooms of the Battle of the Bands was kissing their former friend Spike, the girls jaws dropped at the scene

"Is that..?!" Rainbow Dash said in disbelief

"And is she with Spike?!" Applejack said in fury

"And are they...KISSING?!?" Rarity said with anger and fury.

The girls were standing there shocked one of their rivals was kissing the green haired boy. But knew that approaching would make him hate them more, and simply went to their table. As Adagio and Spike conversed, the duo either laughed or just smiled at their conversations.

Twilight only looked in sadness at the scene and whispered to herself "I'm sorry."

The girls saw the depressed bookworm and consoled her, with Fluttershy saying

"There there Twilight, Spike may be gone now, but he'll forgive us one day."

"Yeah, plus even though he doesn't want to be with us now, doesn't mean he'll try to no let go of what we did." Rainbow said

"But that's just it! I never gave Spike a chance to be have a good life nor be treated equally as us! Not only that but we basically just nearly ruined his entire life by using him for our own selfish needs." Twilight said

The girls only hugged the girl as she layed her head on the table. Until Pinkie suddenly said with realization

"Wait, tomorrow is his birthday right?" The girls heard and nodded as Pinkie then huddled them together.

With the bell soon ringing, Adagio said to Spike

"Well, it's time for us to go to class. I'll see you later."

"You too." Spike said and he left to go to his next class.

Spike was seen leaving after having to do another test, he was heading to another location, but this time it wasn't the ship or the Power Ponies HQ . It was his adoptive home. The home where he lived with Twilight and Shining as he never even knew his parents. He was promised a normal childhood, but that sadly did not come to be. The boy went to the front door of the house and placed a letter on the door and then left. He then went his way to his new home, the ship of yautja.

The boy was seen in the ship, and there was nobody inside, only him. He said

"Hello?"

The main door opened and GreyBack came and said "Young Hunter, what is the matter?"

"Its nothing. I wanted to ask what the problem was." Spike said

"There is nothing of hindrance, we are still tracing the Bad-Bloods, yet they have more enhanced weapons to elude us."

"Damn, why is it getting like this?!" Spike said in a stressful tone.

"What?" GreyBack asked

"Its just that all my life I've been trying to get somewhere and yet no matter how hard I work, no matter what sweat I drop, i get NOTHING but made fun of."

"Wha-" GreyBack said, but was cut off by the ranting human

"And yet I'm showing them that even though I look weak and useless, that deep down I am MORE stronger then they ever will be!" Spike said, gradually getting more angrier. And GreyBack slowly caught on as he continued to get more heated and angry

"Yes-" GreyBack said but was cut off

"Then when I work hard it shows that I'm more then capable of getting a future job then won't involve me needing them and then I can personally show the world that I don't need their appreciation!!!" Spike said more furiously while GreyBack looked in pity

"And I'm gonna show them that after we deal with those evil jerk hunters that I'm more of a..a Hunter, a hero and I am way more of a good person then THEM!! AND THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN TEACH ME OF FRIENDS NOR FAMILY BECAUSE THEM ACTING LIKE THIS TO ME IN MY CHILDHOOD SHOWS I'M A BETTER BOY THEN SIX HYPOCRITICAL FEMALE JERKS LIKE THEM WHEN THEY SAY WE'RE TRUE FRIENDS. AND ME GETTING A NEW GIRLFRIEND AND NAME IS ABLE TO SHOW I DON'T NEED THEIR FAKE LEVELS OF LOVE NOR CARE ABOUT ME SINCE I ALREADY KNOW THEIR GONNA USE IT TO MAKE ME LOOK BAD IN MY LIFE AND THAT MEANS THAT THEY DON'T DESERVE TO EVEN BE HERE NOR BE HEROES BECAUSE OF WHAT I HAD TO WORK FOR!!!!" Spike said and stopped his rant, almost in tears.

GreyBack only looked at the boy with shock and pity and finally knew what drove the boy to continue fighting so much. The hate and love in his heart had constantly been in conflict with each other that the boy had not known what to do anymore. The Elder looked at the crying boy with a look of sadness.

Spike was now in tears, with a demoralized look and didn't know what to think anymore. The boy then said the only few words in his mind he didn't know the answer to in a meek tone and voice

"Why does nobody want me?"

GreyBack heard enough and hugged the boy. Spike was surprised but returned it, needing anyone right now that was actually caring of him and had to let go it the emotion and fear he had went through his whole life, whether the person was an alien or not.

GreyBack said "Spike, listen to me and listen closely, you may not be wanted by most in this planet or world but that doesn't mean that nobody wants you. You showed me that deep down you were an great child and were not only a hero. But a good boy that I would think of as a son. If nobody can see that....then Its their fault for betraying their own choices and beliefs.

"But...what good am I..to them..?" Spike said in tears

"Then that's their problem, not yours, you may not be a son to them, but your my son."

"Thank....you.....father." Spike said in tears, feeling a bit better from his adoptive father

"Your welcome....my son." GreyBack said, smiling under his mandibles

As they hugged, two photos fell on the ground out of Spike's pocket, one was with him and the Power Ponies and the other was with him standing with his friends and adopted family. The first photo fell into the fog of the ship while the second was when the mist covered Spike's figure in the photo and not the other girls, as he was on the far right.
