Author's Note

I wanted to write something and I thought: 'Hey why don't I write a Western story?'.
So here it is. Keep in mind that they are human. So they are gonna ride horses. Sue me.

Yes. When I write stories where they are human i'm going to call them 'main 6'. Double sue me.

Chapter I: Blast from the past

The town of Armadillo was a very busy town, with travelers and merchants coming through all day. Though this day was calmer than usual, but still the town was very busy, especially the saloon. The local farmer Applejack stepped inside the saloon. She was wearing a brown duster, a grey vest, a belt with bullets and a revolver, brown trousers, leather boots with spurs attached to the heels and a leather hat tipped slightly downwards. After she went inside she took a moment to take in everything around her.

'There's the drunk fellas in the far right corner, the merchants at the counter and an unknown person ah don't recognize in the far left corner.' She thought to herself.

Said unknown person was sitting with her legs on the table and looked like she was asleep. She was wearing a tattered and torn duster, black trousers, leather boots with spurs attached to the heels, a belt with ammunition and a revolver and a leather hat over her face.

"One glass of whiskey, please." Applejack said to the bartender as she sat down at the counter.

The bartender came with a glass and a bottle of whiskey, but what he said to her would flip her entire day.

"Excuse me ma'am, but do you know the woman sitting in the corner there? She came in here a few hours ago and asked if you were here." he said.

"Ah dunno." Applejack answered.

"I bEt It JuSt A rAnDoM wHoRe In TrAnSiT." one of the drunk guys said and caused every drunk person in the saloon to burst into laughter.

They laughed so hard that they didn't hear a click coming from the other side of the room and then, BANG. A shot was heard and the drunk guy who had insulted the mysterious woman fell dead on the ground. Everyone turned around and saw the lady holding a revolver. She span it on her finger before stopping it and blowing the smoke away from the barrel.
Applejack stood up and walked carefully over to the mysterious girl.

"Ya wanted to see me?" Applejack asked a little on edge.

"Yeah. Long time no see AJ." the girl said before lifting her hat to reveal her face.

"Twilight? You? Here? Why?" Applejack asked taken aback.

"To see you." Twilight simply replied.

"But why are ya here? Aren't ya supposed to be a sheriff?" Applejack asked still a little surprised

Twilight slightly chuckled and scoffed at Applejack.

"That was before. Yes the payment was good, but it was a little too strict for my liking." Twilight said before she got down to business. "I'm getting the band back together Applejack." she said very seriously.

"Are ya serious?" Applejack asked taken aback again.

"When it comes to this topic, i'm dead serious." Twilight said.

"Than why are we sitting here and talkin'? Let's go!" Applejack said before running towards the door.

"I knew I could trust you." Twilight chuckled before getting up and walking towards the door.

A little while later after they had got onto their horses and was little distance away from Armadillo they stopped to plan their route.

"So. Who's first?" Applejack asked looking at the horizon.

"Well the closest is Rainbow Dash. She's in the next town." Twilight said looking at a map.

"Twilight?" Applejack suddenly said.

"What?" Twilight asked still looking at the map.

"What happened to your eye?" Applejack said having noticed a scar going strait over Twilight's right eye.

"Oh. I got into a fight with an outlaw and he slashed over my eye with a knife. Now it's my turn to ask a question." Twilight said.

"Ah am all ears." Applejack said.

"Why were you so eager to leave your farm?" Twilight asked.

"Ah haven't had any luck since ah bought it. Everythin' went south immediately." Applejack answered.

"Okay, now let's get going before we stand here all day." Twilight said before whipping the rope in her hands making her horse run.

"Yee-haw!" Applejack shouted as she began to pick up speed and with that they were off.
