Diary of a fallen

Well, this feels so weird.

I suddenly came up an idea to write a diary. I don't why but I felt somepony needs to see this in the future.

Oh, well.

My name is Sundae Delight, a unicorn mare living in Richville, a small but rich town build east of Foal Mountains, I heard a small portion of the town is build on top of a hillside.

I worked here as a owner and manager of an ice cream parlor. My family was rich and formely live at a city called Canterlot. I live alone in my house, my entire had passed away due to a curse set upon us. I am the only survivor.

But I'm not lonely. The entire town is my friend. We live in unity and kindness, many went to buy my ice cream and many went to become members of my small company.

Calm Scoop, was my oldest staff member. He was very loyal to his job and to me that he suggested me to build small branches, I agreed. I have no problem making my company even more bigger.

Crystal Wishes was my first costumer today. Crystal, the mare with a filly's heart, the sweetiest mare in town bought some
3 strawberry-flavored ice cream not for her but a foal who's birthday is today. I swear if her birthday comes, I'll give her 10 box of ice cream for maintaining her kindness throughout her life.

I heard that one of our friends, Sword Slasher was coming back. That stallion went to Canterlot to work as a royal guard. I still don't understand why he would leave his hometown just for a job. The job as a town guard is just as fair as the rest of the jobs here, captain Silverbolt even raised the salary.

The Grapes family hosted another party. Again. Maybe it's probably the amount of tourist coming this month.

I came to my ice cream parlor to give my employees their salaries. They are very happy and thanked me. I feel very embarrassed for their smiles. I couldn't help but smile back.

I went back to my to Furry Smiles to check up on my pet, Ferry, my pet vulture. I have to adopt him as a pet ever since that unexpected massive bird migration occurred five weeks ago. Many ponies at the hillside are bruised due to the hirds flying low. thankfully, nopony is 'harmed'
. Furry Smiles was the veterinarian of the town and i put my trust on her. Soon, my
Ferry will be cured and he will soon flew to the skies.

Blue Wings, was doing her daily practice. She made plans to join a squad of pegasus called the Wonderbolts. I don't know but I think that's the name of the squad. White Wheat was a little mad when she crashed into him while he was hauling a cart full of wheat.

I was not surprised when I saw Mayor Blossomheart strolling around the town. She was a little laid back but i knew the mayor actually cares of the town and everypony living here.

I went back home and decided to make some delicious hors d'oeuvre and decided to eat with my employees and my maids. We tell some good stories and some funny jokes before we got up and went to our business.

I received some letter from Cyan Flare. She told me to meet her at Flour Blake's bakery, wanting to speak with me. This must be very important.

A griffon came into my ice cream parlor. He was very rude and spoke harshly to my employees that I had to come to speak him. He said that one of my employees accidentally stepped on his paw and he wanted me to fire my employee. Of course, I refused to do what he wanted and he stormed out, saying his friends will come and make the tourist stay away from our town. I suddenly feel an urge to throw hot fudge at him.

My employees took that bad griffon's threat too seriously, telling to go and report this to Mayor Blossomheart but I refused.

I don't know if my choice is right or not.

I went to Flour Bake's bakery and saw Cyan, already sitting at one of the tables. She told me she felt something was wrong and she could feel it. She asked me if I saw something weird or strange has happened. I told her i start writing this diary. I showed her this diary by casting my long range teleportation spell which i used on my items when they're too far away from me. She said that i should continue writing this diary while everything is still normal but i decided to keep writing. She and this diary are the ones I found out of the ordinary.

I went back to Furry's house. She told me that Ferry's condition was getting worse. I asked her why and all she said is Ferry got a fever and it became a flu in a matter of 20 minutes. I was shocked to hear that but could I blame her? She's just a veterinarian trying to save an animal. I left her house and went to the Grapes' family farm. The party was filled with our friend and foreigners, I met after of those so-called bat ponies who are at the tables, eating some grapes and mangos, Wheat and Crystal was also there, dancing. I decided to eat some cupcakes and drink some grape punch.

Crystal approached me, asking me what's going on. I lied, I didn't want to tell her Ferry's condition but Wheat was there. He was very stubborn to leave me and I had to tell them. Crystal was saddened by the need and she was concerned, Wheat too but he was less concerned and he urged Crystal to went back into dancing.

After several hours, I went back to my house and ate some delicious salad with my employees. I went back to sleep.
