Chapters Starlight Glimmer sat securely fastened into her high chair in the castle dining room, her considerably wet diaper keeping her legs apart as Trixie closed in with another spoonful of mashed peas. Sunburst was just coming out of the kitchen with plates for Trixie and himself, setting them down at the table.
When Trixie had suggested that they celebrate their new promotions and jobs, Starlight had to admit, this wasn't the first thing that had come to her mind. But before she knew it, the inhibitor ring had been placed on her horn, she was swooped up, carried to her room, and padded up. Not that she was going to argue. She couldn't help but wonder, with these new responsibilities, how often they were going to get playtime like this for the foreseeable future. She hoped that they could keep up with spontaneity such as this. After all, that was one of the most important parts of a healthy relationship, and this particular one went three ways.
The new headmare wasn't sure how much of a secret it was that the three most senior faculty of the School of Friendship were involved with each other. They hadn't exactly trumpeted about it in the halls, and during school they were as professional as can be. "Say, Starlight..." Trixie began, setting her empty bowl down and handing her a sippy cup filled with apple juice, before Sunburst gave her the plate of assorted fruit for her. "In order to better settle into my new position of guidance counselor, I've been flipping through your past notes. Did... Did Sandbar, Gallus, and Ocellus really have an orgy in their dorm room?"
Starlight almost choked on her juice, coughing for a moment.
"Uh... Yes. That was something of a... Complicated situation." Starlight said, blushing lightly.
"Yeah, according to what you wrote, they started experimenting with each other, but had to find places more private and isolated because of Ocellus' love-collecting magic was somewhat uncontrolled when things got that hot and heavy. That night, she had ended up giving nearly the entire school and castle instantaneous wet dreams upon her own release."
"And to my knowledge, they've found such a place. Where are you going with this, Trix?"

Starlight was pretty confident that Trixie had waited until she was padded and half in her ageplay headspace to bring this subject up. She had to admit, she did have a point. The same was currently happening to their first international students and Sandbar. "So, since you've been giving this some thought, Trixie, what kind of structure were you thinking of?"
"I've done more than that. I've gone and taken quite the initiative." Trixie said, lighting up her horn and going into her saddlebags which rested next to the chair to the right, a pamphlet coming out of one of the pockets, floating it over to Starlight's high chair tray. "I didn't want to wait, because if we do decide to do this, we don't have a lot of time to get the summer schedule squared away."
Starlight set her sippy cup down and took the pamphlet in her hooves.

"Well, alright, you've convinced me to give it a try. As long as being safe and mutual consent at all times are kept as absolute top priorities, I suppose you can get a sign-up sheet ready to prepare for summer. With the majority of students out for the season, I suppose our guidance counselor will need something to do with her spare time this summer."
Trixie smiled at her with genuine joy.
"I knew I could make my little filly see reason. I'll start right away. Sunburst, could you give our little Starlight a bath and get her ready for bed? I've got work to do."
Sunburst nodded, finishing off his serving of fresh fruit. As Trixie turned back to her saddlebags, pamphlet in her magical grasp, putting it back where it came from, strapped on her bags, and headed out of the dining room, Sunburst gathered up their empty bowls in his magic before unlatching the high chair tray and lifting Starlight up into the air.
"Alright, my little headmare needs a bath and a clean diaper before bed. Shall we?"

Starlight slowly came to in the comfort of her crib. One of the first things she felt was her considerably thick night diaper with the two stuffers Sunburst had put in it last night and how... Dry it was?
Indeed, as the fog of sleep continued to lift, she remember being changed right before bed, and she usually wet it lightly before falling asleep, or heavily a few moments after waking up. But as she sat up, she didn't feel any kind of urge, to hold back, which would have been minimal anyway. She was about to wonder if something was wrong, but she didn't have time to think about it as her bedroom door opened, and Trixie walked in.
"Well there's my baby birthday girl. Good morning, sweetie." She greeted, coming over to the crib and lowering the side. She leaned forward and gave Starlight's diaper a few playful pokes as she checked it.
"Well well, I don't think this has ever happened before. You're completely dry. Who knows, maybe you're finally getting ready to get into potty training. Well, might as well keep you in that for now, no sense in those stuffers going to waste. But that doesn't mean I can't give you your first present."
Out from under her cloak, Trixie produced a plastic egg vibrator, quickly lubed it up, and briefly tugged the front of Starlight's diaper, and slid the vibrator into her marehood.
"There we go, I'm sure you'll get to enjoy that throughout the morning. Now let's get you ready." Trixie said, magically pulling Starlight's pacifier from her mouth, and took it over to the closet, returning just a moment later with a few articles of clothing, the first of which was her pacifier now fastened to a strip of leather. Trixie returned the pacifier to Starlight's mouth, fastening the two ends of leather behind her head, keeping it securely in her mouth. Next, came a black velvet blindfold. Trixie took the elastic on both sides and placed the mask around her head and over her eyes, effectively blinding her.
"Trxee?" Starlight asked, her speech partially muffled by the pacifier gag.
"Just getting you ready for your second birthday present, hun." Trixie replied, gently pushing her back into a laying position and rolled her onto her stomach, before attaching four short restraints to the four corners of the crib, before putting the leather cuffs securely around each of Starlight's hooves.
"Now, Starlight. Do you trust me?"
Starlight was now really wondering what her friend had in mind. She thought she had seen on the schedule that Trixie had a class this morning, and that she'd be spending the first half of her birthday with Sunburst. Maybe she had misread something. 'Kinks and Fetishes 101' had been going for three weeks, and from what Starlight had heard through the grapevine, had been more or less a success. She didn't quite remember how many had signed up, but she hadn't heard any complaints or anything out of the ordinary, and had pretty much let Trixie do her thing. If she didn't have class, the headmare was now wondering what she had in mind for the start of her birthday, which they had agreed days ago would be spent padded.
Robbed of sight, speech, magic, and most of her movement, Starlight took a breath, and nodded.

Starlight could only use her ears to try and guess where she had been transported to. Even with this newfound excitement, she still didn't have the slightest urge to relieve herself as she almost always did in the morning. As she heard Trixie push the wheeled crib, she was fairly certain she heard it roll across wood.
"Alright class. I know we're getting started a little early, but I didn't think we should let our volunteer sleep in too much."
Starlight's heart almost came out of her chest and she felt every single muscle in her body tense up. As she shifted and struggled momentarily against her restraints, she heard her diaper crinkle much, much louder than usual. In fact, it sounded like it had come out of...
...Out of the auditorium's speaker system.
"Trxee???" Starlight asked, the anxiety in her voice immediately apparent, unable to truly believe what her friend was actually doing right now.
"Now class, in order to put Starlight's mind a little more at ease, what are our guiding tenets?" Trixie asked.
"Acceptance, Consent, Trust, and Safety." Came the reply in unison. Starlight couldn't quite make out how many voices she just heard, but it sounded like... Around ten? She had never confirmed with Trixie how many had signed up for her class.
"Correct. A-C-T-S, or ACTS of Love. We accept this side of Starlight, we will go no farther without her clear consent, and I hope she can trust that we will not treat her any differently outside of this role or headspace, and she knows that her safety is our absolute highest priority."
Starlight's heart was still pounding against her chest, but Trixie's reassurances did begin to calm her mind just a bit, and helped her focus just a little bit more on the thick padding between her legs.
"Now, Starlight's kink has two common titles; AFDL, or Adult Foals and Diaper Lovers, and ageplayers. Starlight felt her cheeks heat up as her mind played back her, Sunburst, and Trixie going through the very roles she was listing off to her class, Starlight's lack of present sight making the memories all the more vivid.
"Now, Starlight, I want to be very clear; this is just a demonstration. The class is here to observe what you like about your kink. If you absolutely don't want to help these students in their pursuit of learning, your safety action is to merely tap on either side of your crib, and I will wheel you out of here without any objections. Starlight took several deep breaths, and tapping the bars remained at the edge of her mind, but at the last second, she stopped herself. When Starlight made no move to tap the bars of her crib, Trixie felt it safe to proceed, magically taking the remote of the vibrator and turning it up a notch.
"Don't worry, Starlight. We're just going to cover the basics. So, I think it's time I remove the nec dimittis spell I put on you last night..." Trixie explained, standing beside the crib and lighting up her horn.
Starlight was currently endeavoring not to moan with the increase in the vibrator's frequency, but that became one of two worries when she felt her nethers tingle, and suddenly had a heavy urge to pee. She now knew why she hadn't wet herself in her sleep, and also why she didn't have to flood her diaper after waking up. Starlight immediately knew there was no chance of that happening without relieving her bladder. With one last muffled whine of resistance from her adult side, she relented to the pressure, and began to flood her diaper. While she normally wet herself slowly to minimize the risk of leaks, that was only when it didn't feel like she had been holding it for hours , and she could do nothing to hold back the full stream. Luckily, the two stuffers did their job well, and absorbed what Starlight let out almost as quickly.
"Oh my, look at that thing swell." She heard Trixie comment, then felt a hoof lightly press into the padding. Starlight could hear the faint hissing coming from the speakers, as well as the crinkles from Trixie's light teasing. The heavy stream lasted about twenty seconds before reducing to a light trickle. Starlight internally panicked for just a moment as she felt a puddle of urine against her, but let out a breath of relief as the last of it was absorbed, leaving a swollen, even thicker diaper pressing into her marehood. The relief was almost as good as climaxing, but not quite, and the vibrator's currently level was little more than a tease.
"Good girl, you wet your diaper. After all, that's what they're for." Trixie said, withdrawing her hoof from between the bars and turning the vibrator up further. "I thought you'd like it if you had your favorite plushie to help you along." Trixie said. With a final magical shove, Starlight felt her diaper press into the stuffed bear's belly. As the darkness was lifted from around her eyes, she heard the light taps of hooves and claws; small amounts of applause coming from the front row below. By the time the blindfold was lifted off entirely and her vision cleared, she saw the lightly red-tinted faces she probably should have been the least surprised to see; the five international students plus Sandbar, the last of whom was positively throbbing between his legs.
"Well I'd say that was quite a show, little Starlight. Thank you very much for opening yourself up to these open, curious minds. Keep in mind, class, this was just the basics; and for ageplayers, it doesn't get any more basic than using their diapers for number one, number two... And number three." Trixie said.
Starlight couldn't find any words in her exhausted state, and opted to merely nod her head lightly. Thus, the only reply Trixie received were five loud raps on the left bars of the crib.
"Oh Starlight, you're such a spoilsport..."
Starlight moaned quietly as she once again shoved her diapered crotch into the bear that had been wedged beneath her and the mattress of her crib, which had been teleported back to her bedroom after she had adamantly refused to be changed in front of Trixie's class. She figured that once the counselor had her class wrapped up, she'd be back to get her cleaned up, so why not have a little fun in the meantime?
That loss of control on stage had been surreal; she was going to have to ask Trixie to keep that spell handy in the future.
Her ears perked up at the sound of her bedroom door's doorknob turning, and it opened to reveal Sunburst.
"Well, there's my girl. Smells like you could certainly use a change. I trust you were well behaved for Trixie's class?" The vice headstallion asked. Starlight nodded as she was grasped by Sunburst's magic and carried over to the bathroom. He expertly began to untape her diaper and remove it as she was set gently down in the tub. He set the water to a lukewarm temperature, grabbed the detachable shower head, and immediately set to spraying her nethers down, keeping her tail elevated and making sure nothing got stuck or smeared on her back legs on the way down.
After about thirty seconds, she was decidedly clean back there, and was levitated out of the tub, being given a brief magical blow-dry before her tail was released from Sunburst's magical grip as she was taken back to the bedroom and set down on the changing table.
As Sunburst grabbed a clean diaper, unfolding it and fluffing it before laying it under her, he noticed how she hadn't quite finished from her plushie humping when he had come into the room.
"Well, I suppose I could take this opportunity to give the birthday girl my present." Sunburst told her.
Starlight barely saw him lick his lips before her stomach blocked her view of his head which had descended between her legs. Sure enough, she felt his tongue a moment later, and she let out a gasp. Gods, the mix of ageplay and adult naughtiness was like nothing else.
The vice headstallion didn't exactly have his work cut out for him; she was already quite worked up from her efforts before he had entered the room. "Hey Sandbar, you alright?"
Gallus' voice brought Sandbar out of the momentary mental distraction the stallion had found himself in standing in front of the sink of the colt's restroom outside of the auditorium.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry, got lost in my head there for a minute." Sandbar answered his boyfriend as he finished washing his hooves, then shut the faucet off.
"Are you sure? I think your cock could be seen from anywhere in the auditorium, and I haven't seen you this flustered since our demonstration with Ocellus in the tree house."
Sandbar had to mentally fight against another erection as memories from week two of Kinks and Fetishes flashed in his mind. Gallus and him had been going out for a few months now, and their dorm room activities had been the frequent source of curiosity of their four closest classmates. "Whoa whoa, I'm not saying I'm ready to dive on in or anything. But honestly, yeah, I might think about it. Besides, I'm not sure where I would even put stuff like that. So, to change the subject, we still on for lunch?"
When they had finally returned to their dorms, all six of them were plumb tuckered out after a day of Ponyville summer fun. Trixie's class rarely went past noon, and after that, the rest of the day was free to spend however they pleased, save for Ocellus, who had chosen two additional electives to take over the summer break. After a late dinner, they finally retired back to their rooms. When Sandbar discovered he was in the mood, he glanced over at Gallus and unfortunately saw that he had been out for a good fifteen minutes already.
So when he quietly went to the bathroom and took a seat on the tub, he realized that his usual train of dirty thoughts of Gallus and Ocellus weren't quite cutting it tonight as he tugged on his throbbing stallionhood as quietly as he could. After ten minutes of essentially edging himself, he began to get concerned that he was going to have to endure a night of sexual frustration until Gallus was awake and available in the morning.
But then thoughts of today's demonstration in the auditorium began to creep into his imagination. Within seconds, it wasn't Starlight in that crib, but himself. Soon enough, Gallus' disembodied voice was in his ear.

He caught his breath as quietly as he could as the streams turned to drops, and he turned on the shower for just a moment to rinse off the wall. Taking a last deep breath, he shakily got to his hooves and hobbled out of the bathroom, turning off the light behind him and made his way to his bed across from the sleeping griffon. His newfound foalish fantasies began to fade in the afterglow, but he wasn't so naive to believe they wouldn't be back, and as he fell asleep, he began to wonder what he was going to do about them...

Sandbar felt a slight tingling in his hooves as he stood in the diaper aisle of Silly Filly, Ponyville's largest and most well known foal care supply store. "Good morning, Sandbar." Came the greeting of Soothing Care, the mare half of the proprietor couple that had ran the store since it opened two decades ago. The friendly mare had a light cobalt coat, and flowing brown hair. "Beautiful day out."
"Absolutely." Sandbar replied, trying his best to hide his nervousness. He wasn't exactly an unexpected sight in here; this was a bi-weekly stop for his family ever since Coral had been born a couple years ago.
"Is Coral running low already? I could have sworn your mom was in here just a week ago. Can I help you find anything?" Soothing asked, noting that Sandbar had been standing in this aisle for as long as it had taken to ring up the last three customers at the register.
Sandbar was determined to not turn into a jibbering mess at a such a simple question. His family had been loyal patrons of this store, and knew full well that Soothing would not deliberately embarrass him, no matter what he was in here looking for.

Sandbar couldn't hide the disappointment from his face.
"That's alright, Soothing. I understand. Just one more advantage to becoming legal, I suppose. Thanks anyway!"
With that, Sandbar hurriedly made his way to the front doors and made his way back out into Ponyville's market square. He held the facade as long as he could, but the disappointment inevitably washed over him as he made his way back to the school campus. It would only be two more years before turning eighteen.
'Not a long wait at all.' Sandbar sarcastically thought to himself. Resisting the urge to bury his head in the ground, he returned to his dorm room, where he broke the news to Gallus, who had convinced him to go check out Silly Filly.
"Your bits are just as good as anypony else's. What liability issue?" The griffon asked, surprised that his boyfriend had returned empty handed.
"I'm guessing in case a parent or guardian didn't want me back there, or if I'm trying to buy something without their knowledge, which, obviously I am."
Sandbar was able to keep his frustrations in check, but Gallus had a harder time of it. Seeing how hopeful his boyfriend was when he had left for Silly Filly after breakfast only to come back thirty minutes later with that look of disappointment didn't sit well with the griffon. After they had gotten ready for lunch, he told Sandbar he'd meet him in the cafeteria. First, he had a stop to make.
Trixie was just about to leave for lunch break when there was a knock at her office door. She glanced at the clock, and realized that she hadn't yet hung her 'OUT TO LUNCH' sign, so the knock was fair game.
"Come on in." She replied to the knock. The door opened, and Gallus walked in.
"Thanks for seeing me so close to lunch, Counselor Trixie. I won't try to keep you long, but I have something important to talk to you about."
"Don't worry about your timing Gallus. Tell me what's on your mind." Trixie replied, inviting the griffon over to the couch in front of her desk.
"Well, it has to do with your summer class, and your demonstration yesterday."
"What about it?" Trixie asked, listening intently.
"Thanks to that demonstration yesterday, Sandbar has found himself quite curious about ageplay. Trixie tapped her hooves together as they rested on the edge of her desk, considering his request. Starlight and Sandbar weren't the same exact size, but they might just be close enough.
"Well, Gallus, I appreciate you coming to me with this very legitimate concern. Likewise, Silly Filly's liability concerns are very legitimate as well. Gallus gave her a smile.
"Thank you, Counselor Trixie. I won't keep you any longer."
After a light lunch, Trixie made a quick stop upstairs to Starlight's room. When it became clear that the school would be keeping them in Ponyville on a year-round basis, Starlight decided to keep her bedroom half-nursery pretty much all the time, so a quick night of role-playing was virtually effortless, whether she was on her own or together with either Trixie, Sunburst, or both of them.

"Counselor Trixie?" Gallus asked as he came up to her, seeing the single saddle bag that she was holding at her side with her magic. She gave him a soft smile and levitated the bag over to him. The griffon accepted it and lifted the flap to peek inside.
"Just some 'homework' for you and Sandbar. Let me be clear; that does not leave campus; better yet, keep it in your dorm room until you can clandestinely take out the trash. Clear?" Trixie asked.

"A little something for you." Gallus said, glancing back at it as the pony sat up, the griffon coming over to sit down next to him, taking off the saddlebags and setting it between the two of them, opening the flap so Sandbar could peek inside. He leaned over to peer inside, and when he saw the contents, his heart skipped a beat, and he silently looked up at Gallus, his mouth parting slightly.
"I talked to Trixie before lunch, and she agreed that it wasn't really fair that she introduced you to something like this while you're not able to try it on your own without telling your parents. He panted as Gallus stared down at him. He let go of his chin and scooted back on the bed, laying back against his pillows.
"Alright, come on up here. Lay on top of me." Gallus told him. Sandbar got up from his sitting position and climbed up on top of Gallus. The down on his chest was so soft. The griffon ran the tips of his claws through his mane as they came chest-to-chest.
"Now, if you want to be changed out of that diaper, you're gonna have to cum in it one more time. Hump your big bro until you cum."
Sandbar blushed as he immediately obliged, pressing his diaper into Gallus' semi-hard erection. He gasped with almost every thrust, immediately realizing it was going to be a quicker buildup than last night. Hearing the crinkle of his diaper, and feeling the mess in the back shift with each press forward ensured that this was going to only be a matter of moments. Gallus lightly petted him, smirking up at him. The pony lowered himself down and wrapped his front hooves around the griffon as the point of no return very quickly approached.
"Gal... B-Big bro... I'm cumming... I'm cumming!" Sandbar said with gritted teeth as he tensed up. He felt himself add a second load to last night's. When Gallus felt him go limp, he nuzzled him briefly.
"Alright, get off of me, you stinky foal. Let's get you changed and cleaned up."
When Gallus woke up the next day, he glanced over at his clock, seeing that it was 8:10 AM on Friday, and that Sandbar was already up at it, putting the finishing touches on getting his bed presentable.
"Morning." The griffon greeted, sitting up and tossing the covers aside to get up out of bed, then he turned and haphazardly made his bed as well. "What have you got in mind for today?" He asked, tucking the last corner of sheet in, turning back to his boyfriend.
After the first diaper change yesterday morning, Sandbar had managed to make the second diaper last until late afternoon. Then, it was time for a bath to get cleaned up, as there was sadly nothing else to change into. When everything was said and done, they clandestinely disposed of everything that had needed to be thrown out, and made their way to the cafeteria for dinner. With all the playtime they had over the last 16 hours, they had no trouble just going to bed when they had returned to their dorm room.
Now that Sandbar had gotten a real taste of ageplay, Gallus was wondering what he was going to do next.
"Actually, hun, if you want to do your own thing this weekend, or hang out with the others, that's totally cool with me. I know you've probably forgotten with everything we've done the past few days, but I'm catching the morning train up the mountain. I'm spending the weekend up at the Canterlot Aquarium. I haven't been there in a few years, and I figure it'd also be a nice way to try and get my mind off of... Well, you know, what we've been doing." Sandbar said, sounding hopeful, but with just a hint of sorrow.
"Sandbar, I don't get it. I thought you loved yesterday." Gallus said as Sandbar finished making his bed and started strapping on his saddlebags. When they were secure around his midsection, he returned his gaze to his boyfriend.
"I did love it, Gallus. More than you probably realize. But... But telling my parents about something like that? I'm sorry, but I don't even know where to begin there. I can't even fathom of doing something like that."
Gallus sighed, deciding to drop it for now, before this conversation devolved into an argument, and that was no way to start the weekend.
"Come on, I'll walk you to the train platform." The griffon replied, getting a soft smile out of the stallion in return.
It was a sunny and breezy Friday morning, and all manner of ponies were out and about at this start of a beautiful summer day. Sandbar made a mental note to take the slightly longer way around the market square, so as to not have to lay his eyes on Silly Filly on the way to the platform. The northbound train slowly approached with a blow of it's whistle as Sandbar ascended the steps to the kiosk to purchase his ticket. With that quickly done, he joined about a dozen other ponies on the platform as the doors opened for boarding.
"Alright, have fun. I'll try to do the same down here without ya." Gallus teased, coming in for a hug. Sandbar immediately returned it.
"I'll be back sometime Sunday. For what it's worth, thanks for yesterday. At least I've got a really good sample of what's waiting for me when I turn eighteen." Sandbar said, again trying to give his voice a semblance of hopefulness to drown out the disappointment.
The griffon smiled at Sandbar as he turned and boarded the second passenger car. The doors closed a few moments later and the whistle cried out again as the pony took his seat. They waved at each other through the window as the Friendship Express began to pull away from the station, the chugging of the steel train wheels increasing in rhythm and fading in volume.
As soon as the caboose cleared the platform and Sandbar was well out of sight, Gallus felt his inner resolve harden. Feeling determined, he turned and left the platform, turning not back towards the school, but towards the west neighborhoods. He mentally retraced his steps from the times Sandbar had taken him down this way. He hadn't quite come up with the exact words he was going to say, but more than anything, he felt that something needed to be said.
Turning down the dirt road to one of the outer clusters of dwellings, counted off the houses until he came to the third one on the right. The flowers on both sides of the front walk were in full bloom, giving a very welcoming feeling to the approach to the front door. Gallus took as many calming deep breaths as he could as he walked up to the house. Maybe Sandbar's feelings were accurate; if this was how nervous Gallus was, maybe the poor pony really couldn't fathom doing this. Steeling himself, he took one more deep breath, took the polished metal knocker in his right claw, and tapped it against the chrome seashell that had been mounted on the front door, before releasing it and taking a single step back, and waited.
The oak door opened with a light squeak, and there stood Beachcomber, Sandbar's dad. He was a stallion of average build, with a sea green coat just a few shades darker than Sandbar's, his eyes were cobalt blue, and his mint mane and tail had been styled into dreadlocks.
"Gallus, well isn't this a surprise. I'm sorry, but Sandbar's not here. I thought he had gone back to the dorms to say goodbye, but maybe he didn't have enough time before the train. He's gone up to Canterlot to spend the weekend at the aquarium."
"Yeah, I know, I just saw him off." Gallus had gotten out before High Tide, Sandbar's mom, came around the corner carrying their baby daughter Coral Currents. Gallus took a slow, deep breath to keep his nerves under control as he now had the attention of his boyfriend's whole family.
"I'm actually here to talk to you. Both of you."
Gallus knew he had done a pretty poor job of hiding how uncertain and worried he felt. It was a far cry from how cocky and brash he had appeared on his first day at the School of Friendship. He wished he could at least appear more confident when it came to discussing Sandbar with his family. Then again, maybe it was a good thing he appeared concerned, as they had immediately welcomed him in and had him take a seat in the den while they very quickly made a pot of tea. A few minutes later, they returned, and offered the griffon a hot cup of peppermint tea before sitting down next to each other on the sofa across from him in the armchair. The beverage's aroma made him relax just a bit.
"I'm sorry if I seem overly worried or concerned. It's just... Before I came to Ponyville, I didn't have anyone that really cared about me. Now that I do have creatures that care, I know that you don't normally go behind the backs of creatures you care about, but with how quickly he left, I didn't see any other way." Gallus began, taking a sip from the teacup he held.
"Gallus, we know how much you care about Sandbar, and if this is something you feel we need to know, then we're all ears, with open minds." High Tide told him, Beachcomber nodding in agreement.
"That's just it. I'm not absolutely certain that you need to know this, and Sandbar is absolutely less than certain. Just... What I'm about to tell you... I'm begging you , please, don't hold it against him. I'm afraid he'd never forgive me. But right now I don't see any other way that he's not going to torture himself for two years.
"I'm afraid you've lost us, Gallus. Maybe back up." Beachcomber calmly told him.
"Yeah, maybe let me start at the beginning." Gallus said, taking another drink of tea followed by a deep breath.
"I know it's no secret how taken aback I was with how accepting you were when Sandbar introduced me. With everything he's done for me these past few months, I think the time has finally come for me to do something significant for him. So, as you know, we've been participating in an, um... elective class this summer."
Gallus got nods from both parents. Trixie had required permission slips from each student's household detailing the content her class would be responsibly and safely delving into. Sandbar's parents had signed for both of them, as they were the closest thing Gallus had to legal guardians in Ponyville.
"So, this past week, the demonstration was on something called 'ageplay', and I think it's affected Sandbar to a degree that he's kind of shocked how much his mind got into it. Maybe a part of him has wanted something like that all along, and he's only now realizing it. A couple nights ago, we tried some of it, and... And seeing how happy it made him... I'm afraid he might be embarrassed to let that side of him out, even in private. The local store in town that markets to that particular kink won't let him see their stock because he's not legally an adult yet. I think part of the reason why he headed up to Canterlot this weekend was because he wants to try to get his mind off of all this. But I don't want him to turn away from something that makes him so happy. Not after everything he's done for me. I'm really afraid that if he's forced to wait until he's a legal adult, that it would slowly eat away at the pony I love."
Gallus cleared his throat and twiddled his front claws on his teacup as he waited for Sandbar's mom and dad to respond.
"So, by 'ageplay' you mean, acting like he's younger? Like..." Beachcomber trailed off, glancing at High Tide.
"Like a foal." Gallus continued. "Bottles, pacifiers... Diapers."
"I see. And it's common enough that a store sells those items for adult ponies?" High Tide asked.
Gallus nodded.
"Counselor Trixie brought in somepony local who was into the scene. It's Silly Filly down by the main market."
"Really? We've been buying all of Coral's foal care supplies there. There's an adult section?" Beachcomber asked surprisingly.
"I imagine they've got it in the back, for privacy's sake. Sandbar said he asked Soothing Care about bigger sizes, but was told he couldn't go in the back without an adult because he was legally a minor. Look, I don't know if he's scared of being embarrassed, or shunned, or disowned. I don't know how families work through tough situations because I've never had a family. I just don't want him to turn away from discovering another part of himself."
Beachcomber and High Tide nodded in understanding.
"Well Gallus, we know you love our son very much, and that you have his happiness at heart, and we absolutely appreciate you coming to us with this. To be honest, I'm a little disheartened at the moment, knowing that he's so incredibly frightened of coming to us with this. Everypony has their own little quirks. So, what did you have in mind? What do you think we should do?"
In Sandbar's personal opinion, the entrance to the Canterlot Aquarium was one of the most stunning works of architecture in the entire city. Aquarium guests passed through an arched glass tunnel, through a gargantuan salt water tank, in which swam all manner of ocean life. For fifty meters, it was like you were walking on the ocean floor.
Sandbar remembered his first visit here. Immediately after, he and his parents had gone to one of the most reputable pet shops in Canterlot and gotten him his two turtles, Tipper and Tupper. When he got home with them, he had gotten his cutie mark. He had taken excellent care of them every day since. He had always dreamed of working in the field of oceanography when he was older, or at the very least, getting a job in a place like this. Maybe he could even manage to get an aquarium built in Ponyville. For as close as the small town was, and how nationally significant it had become in recent years, there were a fair amount of residents that had never gotten the opportunity to get up to the Equestrian capitol and saw what the city had to offer. He had been planning this trip for a few weeks now, and managed to get a get a good deal on a hotel room for the weekend.
Now, he was hoping that if he spent the weekend seeing how his life could go forward, it would be a bit easier to resist the desires to go back.
Sandbar walked down his neighborhood road towards his house, as the sun began its journey towards the western horizon on a breezy Sunday afternoon. His saddlebag contained a few new fish magnets for his dorm room fridge, and he had a new Canterlot Aquarium hat on his head shielding his eyes from the afternoon sun. Trotting up the front walk to his front door, he put the key in the door and stepped inside. His dad and mom were there in the living room.
"Hey, son. How was your trip?" His dad asked, putting down the newspaper he was reading on the end table.
"Really cool. They've added a few new exhibits since I was there last." The colt replied.
"We can't wait to hear all about them, but first, why don't you go put your saddlebags in your room." His mom suggested.
"Sure thing, mom." Sandbar said, sauntering past the den and down the hall. He came to his bedroom door on the left, and opened it. His mind was about to do a double take on how his furniture had been rearranged, but then as the door continued to swing open and reveal the left side of the room, his brain nearly shut down completely as his eyes widened and his breath nearly left him.
He felt like he had slipped out of his body as he slowly took a few steps into his bedroom, slowly taking in what had been done.
On the left side of the room, a full-sized adult crib had been set up, a mattress wide enough to fit two or three fully grown ponies. Right next to that, a changing table, with polished oak steps on one end, both pieces of furniture together running the length of the room. The shelves under the changing table were stocked with diapers, wipes, lotion, mineral oil, and foal powder. The diapers were patterned with turtles, fish, and other aquatic life. On the back wall under the window was where his desk and terrarium had been moved. His bed and nightstand had been moved to the right side of the room, and a second twin bed had also been moved in. There was barely enough room for it before the closet, and it made the room as a whole a bit more crowded, but right now that was the very least of Sandbar's concerns as his mind took in what had been done. He was so stunned that he barely heard the footsteps behind him, and he turned to see his dad enter the room.
"Sandbar, son... I had hoped that after you introduced Gallus to us, that you would know that you never, ever have to be ashamed of who you are, especially with your mom and me. Alright?"
Sandbar found it in himself to nod slowly.
"Gallus talked to us after you left for Canterlot, and he's really hoping you're okay with that. Seeing the effort you put into helping him gain Equestrian citizenship proved to me beyond any doubt that you've really grown this past year. And if there's a part of you that wants to take some time to not be so grown, so be it. We may not fully understand it, but Gallus has told us how important this is to you, that this is something you really want to explore, and I for one am glad that you're growing up in a time where less things are taboo and more things are becoming acceptable."
Sandbar swallowed a lump in his throat before any words came to him.
"Wow, dad. I mean... Just, wow. You're really okay with me doing something like this?" He said, his voice still shaky.
"Son, what are the founding tenets of your summer class? What are the acts of love?"
Sandbar immediately recalled what Trixie had drilled into their heads on the very first day.
"Acceptance, consent, trust, and safety." He replied.
"When we saw that back room at Silly Filly, it became apparent that you're not alone. Soothing Care made it absolutely clear that you would remember something like this forever. We don't entirely understand this side of you yet, but we accept it, we consent to you exploring it further, and we trust you to do so safely." Beachcomber told his stunned teenaged son.
Sandbar looked behind him, first to the ageplay side of the room, then to the normal side.
"So, what's the second bed for?" Sandbar asked.
"Well, this entire room is two surprises in one. The left side is a bit obvious. It's your birthday gift, one month in advance. We wanted to give you the space and appropriate atmosphere to explore this part of yourself, and the right side has been rearranged a bit to make room for your new roommate."
On cue, Gallus stepped into view into the doorway and stepped into the room next to Beachcomber.
"No way, really?" Sandbar asked, the excitement in his voice growing.
"Your folks thought I could use a change of scenery away from the dorm room once I start full time in the Castle kitchen."
"Now, have a seat on the bed, Sandbar. There are some new rules that we need to cover." High Tide said. Sandbar looked back to his clean and made bed, and stepped back to sit down on the mattress. Gallus followed, sitting down right next to him as his mom and dad came completely into the room proper, standing in front of the young couple. Sandbar was still staring disbelievingly across the room at the crib and changing table.
"Now Sandbar, we want to just make you aware of some rules. First off, there are no changes to the privacy you've gotten used to. Anything you and Gallus do behind this closed door is your business, and again, we trust both of you to be safe. Everything on that side of the room is your early birthday present, but when it comes to restocking, you're responsible for that. I'm not sure your allowance would cover all of it, so you might want to think about helping Gallus out in the castle kitchen, or maybe going to see if Fluttershy needs help with her pond critters. Secondly, you're responsible for the cleanliness of everything on that side of the room. You're free to wear diapers and role play in here, and if you like, you can extend that to the rest of the house, but there would be a small catch." Beachcomber told his son.
"What is it?" Sandbar asked, a bit nervous.
"Your father and I discussed it at some length, and decided that if you wanted to, we'll treat you like a foal." High Tide chimed in. "No different than Coral. Well, for now anyway. I think your baby sister is getting pretty close to starting potty training. But that means you have to play the part of a foal, too. You have to use your diapers for their intended purpose. You can't feed yourself, and you can't ask for changes; you'll be checked routinely. And obviously, this stays in the house, and absolutely no further. Does that sound fair?"
Another wave of surprise came over Sandbar as it became apparent as his parents wanted to take part in this at least a little. All he could manage to do was nod in affirmation. His mom and dad smiled at him.
"Alright. Well, this is obviously a lot for you to take in, so we'll leave you with Gallus to talk. We love you, Sandbar. We always will." Beachcomber said, coming forward to briefly hug his son and ruffle his mane, before turning and leaving the room with High Tide, closing the door behind them.
Sandbar took another deep breath as Gallus smiled at him.
"Well, that worked out. I'm really sorry that I went behind your back like that, but... I didn't like what keeping it in was doing to you." Gallus said, putting his front leg around his shoulder.
"It... It wasn't just them, you know." Sandbar said, taking another breath, looking across the room then over to his boyfriend.
"What do you mean?" Gallus asked.
"I wasn't kidding when I said I loved the other night more than you realize, Gallus. I wasn't just afraid of telling my parents. I was afraid of what it could eventually do to us." Sandbar said, shuddering.
"What do you think it would do to us? I loved taking care of you like that the other night."
"Like, what if I got really into it? Like really really into it? What if I eventually enjoyed cumming in diapers more than I do cumming in you? I didn't want something like this to come between us." Sandbar confessed, unable to hold in another shudder.
Gallus rubbed Sandbar's shoulder and back as he looked the pony in the eyes.
"Sandbar, creatures change. I doubt Trixie's class is going to get so in depth that we begin to understand the intricacies of why your brain has decided to like something like this. But it doesn't matter to me. All that matters to me is your happiness. Seeing how happy you were the other night when we first tried it didn't change my feelings about you in the slightest. In fact, it made them stronger . So if you want to cum in your diapers more than my tailhole, then I'll get you the thickest diapers in Ponyville. If you want me to rut you during every change on that table, you got it; then when I've got you in a clean diaper, you'll have your seed coming out of one end, and my seed coming out of the other."
Sandbar shivered again as his lips trembled.
"Gallus... Honestly... I-I... I think I could cry right now."
"Well, isn't that what foals do?" Gallus asked, smirking as he pulled the colt into a tight hug. Sandbar buried his face in the fluffy amber down of the griffon's chest, shoulders heaving as he cried softly, letting out the emotions that had been building up for the past several minutes. Gallus was content to sit there holding him, gently preening the mane behind his ears, rubbing his back.
After a few moments, Sandbar parted from the embrace, and took a few deep breaths as he wiped his eyes.
"I don't know what I did to deserve you, Gallus."
"That's easy. You gave me caramel candy and confessed your feelings. Then you pushed me to confront my misgivings about my homeland. Then, you helped give me a home here in Equestria. If anything, I'm not sure what I did to deserve you ."
With that, Gallus stood Sandbar up, hugged him again, then led him over to the changing table, where the colt again stared down at the stacks of diapers on the shelves. The griffon reached down to the first shelf, picked up the turtle shell pacifier, and popped it in between the pony's lips.
"Now let's get my little bro into his diaper, what do you say?"

Sandbar looked down at the tile floor of the school as he sat on the bench outside of Headmare Starlight's office. He still wasn't absolutely sure that the last two days weren't a dream. He had spent all of Sunday afternoon and evening role playing with Gallus in his bedroom, followed one of the soundest nights of sleep he could ever remember, and lastly, a morning bath today before heading into school. He hadn't taken up the offer his mom and dad made him yesterday, but he figured it was only a matter of time before his inner foal and Gallus pushed him to go through with it.
His thoughts were interrupted by the door to Starlight's door opening, and the Headmare stepped halfway out into the hall.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Sandbar. Please come in." Starlight smiled at him as she turned back into her office.
Sandbar fought back a blush, as this was the first time he had seen Starlight since her demonstration in class last week. But he had mentally prepared himself for this meeting as best he could. He got up from the bench, and walked into her office, coming up to the pair of chairs in front of her desk and taking a seat in the left one.
"Now, what can I do for you this afternoon, Sandbar?" Starlight asked.
"First off, I wanted you to know that our dorm room is going to be unoccupied soon. Gallus is moving in with me and my parents, for the foreseeable future. We're gonna start cleaning it and packing tonight, and we'll most likely be out of there by the end of the week." Sandbar told her.
"That's great news, Sandbar. I'll make a note that it'll be open to the incoming class this fall. Was there anything else?" Starlight asked, taking a quill and quickly making a note of the soon-to-be availability of Dormitory 6A.
"Yes. There is." Sandbar said, before digging into his saddlebag. He took out his small twine-tied bag of bits, counted out five bits as they clinked onto the Headmare's oak desk, and slid them toward her.
"For the supplies that Trixie gave us. And before you object, I have to insist you take them. I... I wanted to thank you, Headmare. For allowing yourself to be the demonstration for class last week. Because of that, I discovered a piece of myself that I didn't even know existed, and... And for a bit I was terrified to indulge in that new discovery. But thanks to Gallus' forwardness, I'm gonna be able to explore that side of myself at home, with the support of him, and my mom and dad. So, who knows, maybe we'll run into each other in the back of Silly Filly." Sandbar said, with a blush and slight smile.
"I doubt that," Starlight began, eyeing the bits on her desk, and half-considered sliding them back to him before she decided against it, pulling them towards her and putting them into her top drawer. "If only because Soothing only takes guests back there one at a time. But I appreciate the sentiment. I hope you know how lucky you are, Sandbar, to have loved ones who let you openly explore those new sides of yourself."
"Do I ever. Honestly, half my mind still can't believe it. Right now I'm wondering if it'll ever wear off, if this will ever feel 'normal', you know?"
"In my experience, it will always feel special. So, I won't keep you. Let me know when you're entirely out of that dorm room, and you can turn your key in."
"So, you ready?" Gallus asked him.
Sandbar stood in the center of his bedroom, clean diaper snugly taped around his waist, and pacifier in his mouth. The infantile scent of foal powder still hung around his nostrils. He shifted his legs slightly, hearing his diaper crinkle as he stared at the closed bedroom door Gallus was standing next to, waiting for the colt to be ready to open it. The griffon noticed the hesitation in his expression.
"Come on, birthday boy. You look adorable, and it's about time they saw that too. They got you all this stuff for your birthday, and now it's time to embrace their offer."
It had been three weeks since he had walked into his half-transformed bedroom, and in that time, he had kept the role play confined to the bedroom. But Gallus had told him that he was pretty sure that his mom and dad had made them the house-wide role play offer because they were also somewhat curious about what their son was like in this headspace.
Sandbar took a deep breath around his pacifier, and gave Gallus a determined nod. With a smile, Gallus slowly opened the bedroom door, and waited for the pony to come up to him, and together, they walked out into the hallway. With butterflies in his stomach, Sandbar walked beside his boyfriend to the living room, where his mom sat, his two year-old sister in her lap.
"There's my baby birthday boy. Well, don't you look cute." High Tide told him, as he suckled on his pacifier and blushed in response.
"Come on, let's go to the kitchen." She said, getting up and beckoning them to join her as they walked over into the kitchen.
On the dining room table was a cake with two numbered candles, a one and seven, waiting to be lit. But Sandbar's gaze was on the cake for barely a moment, before he spotted the adult-size polished wood high chair, right next to his sister's considerably smaller one. It was barely higher than an ordinary chair, but with the feed tray in place, he doubted he was going to be able to get out of it on his own.
"We figured one more surprise was in order once Gallus told us he'd be able to convince you to bring this out of your bedroom by your birthday." High Tide said.
With Gallus nudging him forward, Sandbar stepped forward as his dad removed the tray, letting him climb into it. When the tray was put back in place, he was indeed securely in the chair. He and Gallus watched as Beachcomber lit a match and started to light the candles.
"Wait wait," Gallus interrupted, right after he had lit the number one candle. With a single claw, Gallus reached forward and plucked the unlit seven candle up out of the cake with a smirk.
"What? It's much more appropriate, don't you think?"

"You know, now that you mention it, yeah, the front section of the store is pretty small for how big the entire building is." High Tide commented as she, Beachcomber, and Gallus walked through the front aisles of Silly Filly as they made their way towards the back, where they saw Soothing Care finishing up with a customer, and immediately turned to the trio.
"Hello, Beachcomber and High Tide." Soothing greeted, then turning to Gallus. "I'm sorry, I don't believe I've seen you in here before."
"Gallus," the griffon replied. "I'm Sandbar's boyfriend."
"A pleasure. So, here for Coral's usual restock?" The mare asked.
"Actually, we're here because of Sandbar." Beachcomber answered.
"Oh?"
"Gallus told us he came in here a couple days ago asking about bigger sizes, and also that he's rather curious about ageplay."
"Yes, he did come in here for a few minutes, asking about bigger sizes. I sadly had to turn him away because he's not an adult. Is he here with you?" Soothing asked.
Both parents shook their heads.
"He's up in Canterlot spending a weekend at the aquarium. We thought we'd try and surprise him for when he gets back."
Soothing's expression was something akin to touched.
"Well, if I may, he is very, very lucky to have a family like you in his life. I can certainly show you what we offer. Please, this way."
With that, Soothing Care turned and lead the way back to the large double doors, the two ponies and griffon following. Upon going through the doors, they were met with pallets upon pallets of plain labeled boxes. It was certainly all a bystander on the other side of the doors would get a glimpse of. Once well into the back stockroom, however, they saw a near-identical shelving set up towards the very back wall, which they made their way back to. Once they were beyond the pallets of products ready to go up front, Soothing turned to the trio behind her.
"I'm not sure how much you're planning on getting today, or if you just want to look around and come back later, but suffice to say, we have both cloth and disposable diapers, wipes, powders, oils, pacifiers, clothes, onesies, footed pajamas, cribs, changing pads and tables, playpens; all appropriately sized for adult ponies." The proprietor explained, motioning to the dozen aisles of shelves before them.
The looks of surprise had not left the mare and stallion.
"I... I honestly wasn't sure what to think when we were told that there was something like this in town," Beachcomber began, looking down the rows of aisles. "How often do you have to restock this part of the store?"
"Not as nearly as often as we do the front. Most ageplayers don't wear full-time, so they don't go through their supplies nearly as quickly as actual foals do. Very few of them even have the opportunity to build a dedicated nursery for themselves. If that is perhaps what you are considering; giving Sandbar the opportunity to relive his foalhood, I can tell you with absolute certainty, that he will remember it forever."
"What do you think, hun?" High Tide asked her husband.
"This section is so much bigger than I ever thought. I'll be honest; I don't completely understand it, but clearly, he's not alone with these desires, far from it. He's my son, and I love him. If this is something that we think he'll love, I'm willing to let him embrace it." Beachcomber replied. They both turned to the griffon accompanying them.
"Gallus? How deep into this do you think Sandbar wants to get? Does he want us to treat him exactly the way we do Coral?" High Tide asked.
"I think so, that's what I tried to do the other night; changed him, fed him a bottle, and, well, honestly, did things that couples do. That's another thing that Trixie pointed out in class, sometimes adult desires make their way into infantile headspaces like this. He seemed to have a bunch of space in his bedroom, so honestly, I'd love to give him the best of both worlds. But are you sure you two can afford something like that?" The griffon replied, as they started to walk down the aisle full of packs of adult disposable diapers.
"Well, his birthday is next month. I suppose we could make this one big gift a little early. The question is, could we get his room rearranged and set up by the time he gets back Sunday afternoon?" Beachcomber asked.
"I'd love to help however I can. I don't have anything else planned for the weekend. As happy as I am that you're accepting this side of him, I simply cannot wait for him to see it for himself." Gallus replied, stopping halfway through the aisle, his eyes catching the pattern on a particular row of disposable diapers. They were white, patterned with cartoon turtles, fish, crabs, jellyfish, and a few fillies and colts in scuba gear. Gallus used a claw to eye his way down to the appropriate size for Sandbar, grabbing a bag of the tightly packed diapers, wondering if they would be as thick as Starlight's when they were taken out of the packaging.
"I think these would be perfect." He said, showing the pack to Beachcomber and High Tide.
"If you are going all out, I can arrange delivery of a crib and changing table late this afternoon, giving you tonight and tomorrow to get everything arranged and set up. Everything is quite easy to assemble." Soothing told them.
Gallus dug into the left flap of his saddlebags, and pulled out his small twine-tied bag of bits.
"If you two want to go look at cribs and changing tables, I'll gladly take care of the diapers, changing supplies, and pacifiers." He told them.
"Gallus, you don't have to do that." Beachcomber told him.
"I insist. I want to contribute to this as much as I can. This is all that's left of my stipend for this month. I'll get another fifty in a couple weeks, and I'll gladly eat from Grubber's cafeteria menu until then."
All three ponies smiled at him.
"If you insist. We'll leave you to it, and go look at some appropriate furniture. We'll see you at the back register."
"These do get a little cheaper the more packs you buy, Gallus." Soothing was sure to point out, motioning to the price on the shelf. They were 10 bits a bag, but if he got five of them, he'd only be paying for four. He loaded up a shopping cart with 50 diapers, certainly enough for his pony for the next couple weeks, then made his way over to get a few packs of stuffers, a bottle of powder, a bottle of oil, wipes, and last but not least, a pacifier, the shield of which was a turtle shell, more than appropriate. He pushed the cart and all of its contents to the back counter and looked down the way to see Beachcomber, High Tide, and Soothing Care look at changing tables.
He was still thanking the stars for how accepting they were. He knew it wasn't his place to tell them about this side of his boyfriend and their son, but all he saw for the past day was how trying to keep it inside was tearing him apart. He took a deep breath as they came to the register with Soothing, who had written down which ones they had wanted.
"Alright, Gallus, I'll get you rung up first." Soothing said. She got everything organized in three plain cardboard boxes, then slid them across to Gallus to return to the cart.
"You can return that cart at any time. I think it's safe to say you'll be back for more eventually. And I'll get the crib and changing table delivered around five o'clock this afternoon."
After he was taken care of, Beachcomber and High Tide purchased the furniture, a considerably more expensive endeavor than the diapers and changing supplies. Once that was done, they rejoined him at the back door, where Soothing let them out and bid them farewell with a smile and a wave.
"Alright, let's get this back home, and then what do we say to some lunch?" Beachcomber asked.
In his excitement for Sandbar, Gallus had now realized that he hadn't had anything else other than the peanut butter bagel he had quickly eaten before seeing Sandbar to the train station, and now felt his stomach rumble. Undoubtedly they were going to need a hearty meal for the work that needed to be done in his room.
When the trio had taken a look at Sandbar's bedroom, it was apparent that the first thing to do was rearrange what was already in there. Luckily, the colt had usually done a decent job of keeping his room clean.
"How about... Splitting it in half?" Gallus began, beginning to picture the potential setup in his mind. "Normal, teenaged pony stuff on this side, and new ageplayer stuff on this side? We could put Tipper and Tupper's terrarium there by the window."
And so while High Tide went to keep an eye on Coral, Gallus and Beachcomber set to work. Sure enough, by the time Sandbar's nightstand and bed had been moved to the right wall next to the closet, the doorbell sounded through the house, and they went to see that the changing table and crib had arrived, and needed assembling. The stallion and griffon brought them in box by box, and by the time dinner was ready, Gallus noticed that it looked like they had one or two boxes too many.
"Did they bring us too many? It looks like there's an extra bed here." Gallus commented.
"Nope, I measured, and we have room for it." Beachcomber told him.
"So we're replacing the bed Sandbar already has?" Gallus asked.
Beachcomber smiled as Gallus hadn't quite put the pieces together mentally just yet.
"No. This is for you, Gallus."
The griffon's eyes widened.
"You took a very big risk today, telling us about this side of Sandbar. Once we put all this together for him, he'll probably want to spend a lot more time in here. With how much you obviously care about him, I don't want you to stay in the dorm while he's enjoying himself here. You said you've never known what it was like to have a family. If we're all working together to give Sandbar a second chance at foalhood, I'm more than willing to let you move in for a first chance at a family. What do you say?"
Gallus felt his emotions rise in his chest, and he swallowed back tears as he struggled to keep himself composed.
"I... I don't know what to say, Beachcomber. Thank you, thank you so much."
Beachcomber came forward and hugged the griffon briefly.
"It's the least I can do for someone that cares so much about my son. Now, that smell from the kitchen is certainly inviting. Let's go chow down. You can take Sandbar's bed tonight, and the rest of this can wait until tomorrow."
