Freaky Forests and Panicking Ponies
Load Full StoryEverywhere I looked, darkness was all I could see, left, right, every direction was just pure black and very quiet. It was rather calming, but I still had no idea what was happening. Finally, I slowly started to regain consciousness as I took a moment to process where I was and how I got here. The surface I rested on was soft and ticklish, almost like grass. Was I in a field?. Lying in total darkness, and unaware of my current situation, I had to rely on sounds to figure out what was going on, but it was silent. I lifted my head up slightly to examine my surroundings. I rubbed my eyes to adjust my vision and it looked as if I was in some sort of area with loads of trees and bushes, like a forest. My head was dizzy with questions. Where am I?, how did I even get here?, why am I here?. As hard as I tried, I couldn't find any answers to the questions that were circling in my mind. I groaned and rubbed my head, it felt like I got hit at the back of my head with a crowbar. My limbs were feeling numb and my legs were sore, but regardless, I still tried to stand on my noodle legs. After a few failed attempts, I had finally managed to stand, my legs shaking like Jello. My whole body was asleep and I felt that I had no limbs at all. A cold breeze shifted smoothly behind me, shivering a little, I looked around some more, trying to find some form of life in the forest, but nobody was around, I was alone, alone in this strange world, or at least I thought that it was my world, was I in a different dimension?. I shook my limbs, trying to wake them up.
When I could finally feel my limbs, I started to walk slowly through the dark and quiet forest. My head was still aching and my limbs were still shaky. I heard an owl hoot in the distance and I got a little scared for a moment. The cold breeze started to get heavier and I grew more and more cold and I hope I would reach the end of the forest soon. After 10 minutes, I was still shivering as I continued to strolled through the dark and creepy forest. I thought that I would never escape this dreadful forest and that I was trapped here forever and ever. After I had turned a bend, a ray of light suddenly flashed on me as I tried to protect myself with my hands as I walked closer towards the light, then before I knew it, I felt this sudden warmth on my clothes. I finally gained what small courage I had and took a look at where I was now, I had finally made it out of the forest and I was now in what looked like a big field, but it was much nicer. Birds were soaring through the bright, blue sky and all the flowers were blossoming all of their magical colors. I felt this warm feeling in my body, telling me that everything was going to be okay. Then I looked into the distance and I saw what looked like a town, a village. The way I saw it, I was like I was just escaping hell and was now entering into heaven and the village was like a true miracle just waiting for me.
I couldn't take my eyes of that small village, it may have not looked like much, but to me, I was so relieved, I had finally found civilization. My mind was celebrating, but my body was nice and calm and thought that I should just casually approach the citizens, but then a thought occurred to me, what if i accidentally freak out all the citizens in the village?. What if the citizens were a completely different species and had no idea what humans are, but then another thought popped into my mind, what if the citizens were just normal human beings and could easily provide me some great advice and information, I thought that it was the latter. I mean, it just thought it was a normal and innocent village with normal and innocent people living in there. So I had a choice, I could A, approach the village and ask them where I was, or B, totally ignore the village and try to find some other form of life. I debated for a moment and thought that the choice was really obvious. I wasn't really bothered walking another like 10 more minutes, just to find out that there isn't any other form of life, so I had finally voted on my decision, I was going to approach the village and ask the citizens where I was and get some useful information from the. With that, I made my way to the village.
All was well in the small, little town of Ponyville, birds were chirping in the cloudless sky and the ponies were out and about tending to their daily business, there couldn't be a greater day than this. Twilight Sparkle and her friends were on their way to the park to enjoy a picnic, because they had been working their routines for quite some time and decided to have a nice break, and what better break is there than having a nice, little picnic with your friends?, especially on such a beautiful day. They were talking about their plans and were so excited, but nopony was more excited than Pinkie Pie. She was staring at the basket at an intense pace, she was right up close to it, just waiting for one of those delicious treats to fly into her mouth. She had tried to take the basket and steal all the goodies for herself, but luckily, her friends knew her very well and Rainbow Dash was keeping an eye on her to make sure that she stayed away from the basket until they got to the park.
"It was a good choice to make Rainbow watch Pinkie." Thought Twilight
"Yeah, Rainbow Dash is the element of loyalty." Pointed Applejack
"It's true, I would be a great security guard." Rainbow thought.
"But you're already a wonderbolt, darling." Rarity protested.
"I can have another career." Said Rainbow.
"I'm just so glad that we can spend some time together." Fluttershy whispered.
"Yeah, it's nice to take a break from our hard work around Ponyville and this picnic is the perfect solution to this, I mean, it's so great to...."
Before Pinkie could finish her sentence, Rainbow interrupted to party pony.
"We get the idea, Pinkie." Rainbow sighed, but Pinke just smiled.
"Alright, girls, we're almost there." Announced Twilight as they were heading towards their required destination.
"Yay." Fluttershy cheered quietly.
"About time." Rainbow moaned.
"Wonderful." Rarity said.
"Yeehaw." Cried Applejack.
"Great, I'm starving." Said Pinkie, licking her lips.
Suddenly, a pony in the distance was shouting about a monster invading Ponyville. Within a blink of an eye, everypony was now rushing around, trying desperately to evacuate the streets like a bunch of wild animals went loose. The girls were terrified that a monster was invading Ponyville.
A...A... monster" Whimpered Fluttershy.
Before anyone could say anything else, they heard footsteps, but they didn't sound like hooves, They were confused and then they saw a shadow of a creature that they had never seen before in their lives. It looked really tall and it didn't have any fur on it, except for a little bit at the top of its head.
My plan had failed dreadfully, I did what the opposite of my idea was. I had completely scared all the colours out of them, i had made a terrible first impression, especially if the first reaction you get when you get there is screaming and running around into their houses. Regardless, my mind was blown, these ponies could talk, this was beyond chaos, this was straight up madness. I had somehow been transported to a fictional world filled with colorful, talking horses of some sort and nobody was around to help me and give me information. Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted, when a strong force pushed me backwards and tackled me to the ground. I landed on the grass with a thud, my head was throbbing from the sudden act. I glanced up nervously to see who or what my attacker was, it was a light orange pony with a brown hat and white freckles, and it had an angry look on its face, it looked like it could do some serious damage. It also had long eyelashes, so it must of been a girl Then I saw four more ponies running up. I felt some pressure on my limbs, I looked around and I saw the four ponies holding on to my limbs, I was pinned to the ground and there was no hope of anyone saving me.
"Please....Please don't hurt me." I begged to them.
"Who are you?." Asked the orange pony menacingly, her voice had a small southern drawl.
"My...My name is Lukas....and I'm....not here to cause trouble." I quivered out, but she wasn't buying it.
"A likely story." the orange pony thought.
I was about to prove her wrong, but then I felt something hard knock me in the face, it was the pony's hoof, she hit me right in the nose and blood was slowly dripping out of it. Then I started to cry. All the other ponies surrounding me were shocked by that brutal act.
"Applejack, whatever did you do that for?" Asked a white unicorn, so the orange pony's name was Applejack.
"It's a threat." Applejack said.
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean you have to assault it." Protested the white unicorn
My head was starting to feel dizzy again as I couldn't believe that a small pony like herself could do such a brutal act as to punch me right in the nose, I was now feeling light headed from blood loss and my eyes were narrow as I struggled to hear the rest of the pony's argument. My brain couldn't take the pain anymore and I silently fell unconscious.
