A single, small figure trotted along with her cart in the thick fog.
"Where in Celestia am I? I can tell this is no longer the Everfree, that's for sure." The creature suspended a map in front of her with some unknown force, turning and folding it to try to find her current location.
"GAAAAAH!" she suddenly screamed. "WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?!" the creature started to stomp on the concrete out of frustration. "I AM THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE FOR TARTARUS' SAKE!" She stamped the ground one last time before looking up. She noticed something on the side of the road not far ahead of her. Out of curiosity (and the need to concentrate on something else at the moment) Trixie dropped her cart and started to move towards the object.
"What...is this?" Trixie got closer to the large, looming object. When she was a few feet away, she realized what it was.
"It's.....a billboard? But..." She looked closer to find the writing on to be a completely different language. "What the....am I...IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COUNTRY?!" Trixie spun around, and started to pace back and forth, calming herself herself down while thinking.
"Okay, so it official: I'm lost. But I shouldn't worry!" Trixie chuckled a little bit, and put on a cocky tone. "I am the Great and Powerful Trixie, after all. I always found my way home when I have lost my sense of direction before!" She looked around her. Was it just in her head, or had the fog gotten a bit thicker?
"hmmmm....." Trixie thought for a second, her hoof on her chin."But first I have to solve this fog problem." She continued to think, and think, and-
"Aha!" The mare exclaimed. "Its so simple! All I need is light!" Trixie started to focus her magic into her horn, then imagined a bright light. With a little sound of energy, the unicorns horn started to disperse bright light in all directions. Then the light was focused into a wide beam.
"Perfect!" Trixie walked forward, being able to see much farther now. "Now...wait a minute...I forgot my cart!" she quickly turned around to go back to her cart.
Luckily for her, Trixie noticed the new cliff before she walked herself off of it.
"What the hell?!" she backed away from the giant gap. "This wasn't here five seconds ago!"
Trixie slowly moved to the edge of the mysterious new cavern. She looked over the edge to find nothing but endless darkness at the bottom.
"Well, I guess I have to move forward then." She started to trot down the road, passing the sign she had discovered. She moved onward, without a thought of what might lie ahead.
For any human can read that sign and fear the very words upon it.
