Pyramid Head goes to Ponyville
The Shy
Previous ChapterNext ChapterFluttershy started to shake in the bush she was hiding in. Who was that? She asked herself. Why was he watching me like that? Did I do something to upset him? Is he a stalker? Or maybe-
Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden beam of light. The Pegasus looked up, and found a gray, scarred face looking down at her.
"Hi...um, do you know where nearest town is?" The stallion asked roughly. He sounded very tired and weak. Fluttershy lost her fear of this new colt and flew out of the bush to answer.
"Y-yes I do. It's only a few miles away I-in that direction" she pointed south. "But you look really tired and-" suddenly the mare noticed something on the colts side. It was a giant, ugly looking gash right under his cutie mark. It looked really deep and painful. "Ohmigosh, what happened to you?!" Fluttershy looked closely at the wound, seeing if there was any dirt or anything inside of it.
The colt turned his head to look at the cut, with a look of surprise on his face. "huh. I never noticed that." he started to walk away from fluttershy. "So anyways, thank you for-"
"But...you have...a bad wound!" Fluttershy spoke up. "You should come over to my cottage. I can heal that wound for you. I-I mean, if thats okay with you, umm...." she looked to the ground.
The mare raised her head, expecting the wounded colt to have kept on walking, not to have heard a word she said. But instead, he was right next to her side, looking at her with his deep red eyes.
"I'm fine with the cut, so you don't have to worry about. But if you have a place to stay," He yawned. "I am extremely tired, and need some rest. I'll take you up on your offer, miss...?" He leaned forward a bit at the end of his sentence .
"Oh, ummm..." Fluttershy gently scraped the ground with her hoof. "My names....Fluttershy." she whispered.
"Fluttershy, huh? Quite a name." The colt answered softly.
"Oh, I'm sorry if you don't like my name, but you know, it was the one I was given, though-" She was interrupted by a hoof. She stopped apologizing and listened to the stranger.
"You have no need to apologize. In fact, I thought that name was kind of cute...and suiting." the stallion said with a small smile. It didnt really fit with the rest of his face, but it was a smile. "Oh yeah, thats right, I forgot to introduce myself. I Am-" he stopped for a second. He seemed to have had a grand entrance planned, but maybe thought it over. "Well, let me start over. My name is Pyramid Head."
"Pyramid head..." Fluttershy said to herself. What a strange name. His head doesnt even look anything like a pyramid, she thought. but then quickly scolded herself. Now, fluttershy, its not right to think of anybody else's name as wierd or strange. Thats just plain rude.
"Fluttershy?" The clot was right in her face with a look of worry. "Are you alright?"
The butter colored pegasus jumped back about a foot. "NoNoNo, Im fine, really. I was just l-lost in thought, that's all." she looked at the ground with embarresment, her cheeks glowing bright red.
Pyramid Head chuckled a little. "Thats alright. I have moments like that sometimes. Now, shall we head to your cottage? I am really eager for some sleep, after walking all night." He started to walk away.
"Um, Pyramid Head? No offense, but...that's not the right way."
The colt stopped dead in his tracks. Then he turned around with a goofy little grin. "I knew that." he trotted briskly back to Fluttershy. She giggled a little before starting to floating in the air, flying slowly at the same pace as Pyramid Head as they made their way back to the pegasi's home.
The first thing that I noticed about Fluttershy's cottage were the animals: The cute, cuddly little animals, either scurrying on the floor, or fluttering around this mares home.
It made me sick to my stomach, but I tried my best to hide it, out of respect to Fluttershy. (I also didnt want to fuck up this chance to get some sleep in an actual bed)
"Hey, thanks again for letting me get some rest, Fluttershy." I said politely to the Pegasus.
"Sure, PH." She said with a smile.
"PH?"
"I shortened your name a little bit, just so that it is easier to say. I mean, if that's alright with you to call you that. If you dont like it, I can just- you know what, I'm sorry I brought it up, just dont mind me."
"I like it." I said to her. "Saying Pyramid Head over and over could start to get annoying sometimes."
"Really? You do?" She said with a little grin.
"Yeah, yeah. Now if you excuse me, do you know where a bed is?" I was getting really sleepy at this point.
"Its upstairs to the right." she gave me one more little smile.
I proceeded to walk up the stairs and to bed.
