Morning slowly rose in Rodanthe, and the new friends sat gathered around the table in the house, but not for the mixing of metaphors. It was the time appointed to eat breakfast, which had been kindly prepared by Princess Luna herself, who proved to be a very good cook despite being used to having Royal staff wait on her, and so they sat down and ate it, making sure to converse with one another as they did so.
"So," Vinyl asked, "how did this all happen for you?"
"A necklace of a lyre stuck in the ground," Lyra replied, butter dripping down her face as she ate another pancake.
"For me, it was a belt of all things. A belt!" Bon-Bon commented, disgusted at her girlfriend's apparent lack of table manners.
Vinyl turned the nearby sound blaster down as she spoke again. "Well, it's pretty clear, I ain't-"
This is not a musical, Vinyl!
"Oh, sorry. Anyways, mine was the purple arm thingy, see?" She pointed to the one on her left arm. "Found that lying on the doormat! Talk about weird, huh?"
"There's a pattern here," Lyra said.
"Do tell!" the other two chorused in unison, which was mildly creepy.
"First me, then you, then Vinyl- I reckon another of our friends will appear next!"
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Vinyl called. "Come on, you two, let's hit the water and find them!"
The three friends finished eating and bade Luna farewell. They left the house, walked to the boat dock, and proceeded to free the Jolly Rodger from the water bank, sailing off for adventure unknown in an unknown direction in an unknown place. Luna, on the other hand, glowed briefly, and then faded into nothingness, as she returned to Equestria. Luckily, she had found another brony willing to temporarily swap with her, and who was now very confused as he was deposited into a foreign house.
That unknown place for the week that is this week is Buxton, a short ways to the south of Rodanthe. Another fishing village turned tourist hotspot, it could be seen for miles around thanks to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. A local monument of sorts, the structure was currently closed due to many reasons. The first was that climbing season was yet to start, and the second concerned the delayed opening of the structure due to the Coronavirus. The Outer Banks weren't on lockdown yet, but it was only a matter of time until it got there, so everybody needed to be careful, and if that meant closed public attractions, so be it. Having said that, the grounds were still open, so there was that I'll admit. And care to guess who was there?
None other than Jimmy, of course. Who else in these tales? Jimmy was wandering around the lighthouse grounds as it may be his last chance to do so in a long time. So around this lighthouse he strolled looking at the many varied and wonderful things it contained and the many titles it had acquired and that this place was magnificent and-
Sugarcoat. COMMAS!
"Oh. Sorry."
And go back in the queue. It's not your turn yet.
"Okay then."
Anyways. So around this lighthouse he strolled, looking at the many varied and wonderful things it contained, and the many titles it had acquired, such as America's Lighthouse, America's Greatest Sentinel (a title that really belongs to the US Military), Sentinel of the Shoals, and myriad other strange and hyperbolic names in that American fashion. So onwards he walked through that place, and he found it magnificent. Even before he had come to the Outer Banks, this had been one of his favourite tourist spots, alongside Bodie Island Lighthouse a few miles away on (you guessed it) Bodie Island. Whilst he made his way down the pathway that led to other parts of the site, he observed that the path split in two. One half led to the Double Keeper's Quarters, and the other led to the Principal Keeper's Quarters (It is very important to keep your Quarters separate, or else you may find yourself with a shortage of loose change). Upon reaching this diversion in the path, he noticed something sitting there that surprised him. There was a pink bowtie sitting all alone in the middle of nowhere.
"I wonder who left this here?" he asked, as he bent down to pick it up. Thus he did pick it up, and that was not a smart idea in any way. As any regular reader here will know, this decision set into motion a bizarre chain of events. The bowtie glued itself into place around his collar, and hence a blue light came forth from it.
Then it began.
His trainers abruptly changed into a pair of black loafer like shoes, with a single black strap to hold them on, and his socks turned a dazzling white, proceeding to grow upwards to his knees. His jeans, as he had picked them suitable for the cold weather, suddenly became a skirt, as the legs merged together into one garment. This garment turned pink, and began to shrink in length until it ran to her (sorry, his) knees. A black belt with a silver buckle in the middle of it appeared, and it looped around the skirt and went through the belt loop holes to hold the skirt in place without falling down on him. An emblem of a treble clef appeared on the skirt as his shirt suddenly came to life, shifting and softening until it became a white dress shirt suitable for a musician to wear. The sleeves were slightly puffy, not as much as Luna's attire, but still noticeable. Moments after that, a purple waistcoat appeared on her shirt, seemingly completing this task.
He was suddenly teleported northwards, to the old position that the lighthouse used to occupy. Due to erosion problems, the lighthouse was moved inland to keep it safe, the entire site being rebuilt to keep everything at the correct distance relative to one another. Jimmy, now dressed as a woman, decided to follow that path back to the lighthouse (where, critically, his car was), so that way he could get away without too much difficulty.
He found it hard, moving about in women's attire, as he was not used to walking in it. Usually, he remained static during these occurrences (such as Cinderella a long time back) but now it seemed as if the curse was actively playing with him. Would it be permanent?
He walked across the access road that was removed for the lighthouse move and then put back, only for another blast of blue light to hit him. Here we go again!
First, his hair, which abruptly turned black from brown, and went into a growing frenzy, flopping all over the place and stretching uncontrollably. It was oddly painful, every single hair cell being forced to a longer length, and the front part folded up into a Quiff. Very strange. Penny Lane-

Ah, yes, sorry.
Anyways, His shoulders were violently pulled inwards, and his chest grew bigger and bigger until he had breasts. His waist abruptly expanded, and his manhood was soon gone, as his legs and feet slimmed down, soon joined by his arms and hands.
Her eyes turned purple from blue, and her skin grey. A cello appeared from nowhere, and it seemed to be over.
Hoping it was all over, Jimmy, glanced over himself. Or herself. The glasses were gone too. "Oh dear," she said. "I appear to be British!"
She decided to make her way to the lighthouse's original site, when as she walked along, a blast of bass noise sent her flying. "VINYL!"
The friends jumped off the boat and jumped on her with tackle hugs. "There you are, Tavi!" Vinyl shouted, the sound still going full blast.
"Vinyl, please do get off of me. Must you wake everybody up so loudly?" Octavia complained. "That bass is on far too high!"
"Okay miss killjoy," Vinyl grumbled. "Wanna join us?"
"A pleasant boating voyage? I shall partake of such an act."
They hopped on the boat, Vinyl chortling. "Hey, watch this!"
She pulled on the tiller, and the boat suddenly swung round. The wave produced was thrown high into the air, and splashed forth over all of them!
"Yuck!" Bon-Bon exclaimed. "You're as reckless as Lyra, you know that?"
"You gotta have fun sometimes!"
"But not the kind that makes us look like drenched sardines!" Octavia reminded Vinyl. "I believe we had somewhere to be going?"
"Oh, yes, of course." And then they sailed for adventure, headed south and then west after making it through the outer edges of Diamond Shoals, knowing that one more friend was left to be found and then they would be all together again at last.

Anyways 2 things to talk about for of this Author's Note before I get to the usual, aka Fan art and all that.

Second thing to talk about.... This is the last time The Blue EM2 (aka my UK Friend) will edit my stories for me as he will temporary step down from being my editor because of the Corona Virus outbreak affecting his country. However, taking his place during that time will be, of course, Golden Fang Ryu Shenron (or Kirin when I love calling him from his old username. X3) starting with next week's story. As stated, it will only be temporary until this whole outbreak/pandemic is gone for good.
As pointed out after my transformation into EG Octavia Melody was fully completed, I gained a Faux British Accent which is not only a reference to the accent that Tavi has in the Fanbase, but also for of the accent that she has in her brief speaking role in Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks as well as for her pony counterpart in the 100th episode of MLP FIM: Slice of Life ^^
