The screen flashed incandescent as new pictures and offers continually popped up, only to be quickly sent to their virtual oblivion.  Earn money working from home, deleted.  Find local singles in your area, deleted.  Find a fuck buddy who shares your interests, laughed at and then deleted with extreme prejudice.

It was entirely possible there was a company out there that had actually developed a drug to enhance penis size, or make any woman fall in love with you.  However, they were to be pitied as they must have hired the single worst marketing company in the history of sliced bread. Deleted, deleted, deleted.Sliced bread, now there was a great invention.  Whoever had come up with the concept of slicing bread before selling it was more of a genius than the person who developed this pathetic excuse for a spam blocker.

Finally, something not junk.  A game mail from ES:

Equestria Shattered.  Seven or eight years ago no one would have thought a thing about that name.  There was hardly any hype around it at release date, and even after release it didn’t make much of a splash.  It wasn’t until the first big patch, and subsequent name change from My Little Pony: Equestria Shattered to simply Equestria Shattered, that the game started to make waves.  After the first selection trials, the game made huge waves with a concept never before seen.  Every player had been waiting years for this mail.

Equestria Shattered Announces the Second Generation Selection Trials

Dear Players of Equestria Shattered,We are sure you all remember the first selection trial event, where our first Elements of Harmony were selected and given their titles.  Player Characters like Twilight Sparkle have since become mired in the wonderful legacy of this game and having positions like these has set us apart from other MMOs.So, it is with great pleasure that the dev team on ES announces the opening of the Second Generation of selection trials.  Those who find themselves selected will have their names immortalized along the likes of Rainbow Dash.  For those of you who still remember the spectacle from the first trials the dev team would like to offer these words.  This time around, it will be like nothing you have ever seen before.  New options, and tougher trials to select those who best represent these traditions.  Gear, levels, and skills will not be enough to win.  Be prepared to be tested, mind, body, and soul.Should you want to register for the Second Generation selection trials, please use the guild master in Canterlot before August 17.  May the odds forever be in your favour.ES development team.

This opportunity.  This opportunity was amazing.  Like hell he wasn’t going to sign up for it.  Only, this was the point everything was going to change.  Equestria Shattered was no longer going to be just a catchy name.  Everything he thought he knew about the game was about to be proved wrong.
