Don't forget me. Tell everyone what had happened here, tell the guild, tell the town. Make sure the story spreads as far as possible so history won't repeat itself. That's my last wish... Please..." Pikachu was now completely covered by light, Eevee couldn't see Pikachu's face. A few moments later it was all gone. Pikachu was erased from existence. "Pikachu... I will! I will tell every one! Because it was your... final wish..." Eevee was riding the Rainbow Stoneship back to the Hidden Land. The further she went, the more sad she got. But what REALLY happened to Pikachu? Pikachu opened his eyes to find a white Rapidash with wings and no flames staring at him. "Wha... What!? Rapidash's d-don't have wings...!" Pikachu was starting to fade out. Traveling through dimensions can be tough on ones body. A few moments later, he awoke with a thud. That Rapidash must be trying to kill him! "Hello? Little rat thing? Are you awake?" Asked the Rapidash. "Rat... Rat thing? I'm not a rat... I'm... I'm a..." Pikachu was fading again. THUD! "Wha-What's going on!? Where am I!? Where's Eevee!?" Pikachu was freaking out. It keeps hitting him! His new surroundings made him terrified. "Eevee? Who's that?" Said a voice. Pikachu looked over as fast as he could to find two strange Rapidash'. One was the white one, and another a shorter blue one. Just then, Pikachu noticed there odd colored mane. Was that there fire? "Eevee's my... best friend" Said Pikachu, still sorta out of it. "Well, at least we know it has emotions!" Said the blue Rapidash. They both laughed at him. "Why are you laughing at me!?" Shouted Pikachu. "Because you're a little yellow rat! I'm also surprised my spell worked!" Giggled the white one. "Let me out of these restraints!" Demanded Pikachu who had just fully woken up, realizing he was tied up. "We don't know what you're capable of! You might be able to kill us!" They both started laughing again. Why won't they take him seriously!? "PikaCHA!" Shouted Pikachu as he mustered his strength to hit one of the Rapidash with Thunder Wave. "Sister!? Are you OK!?" Worried the blue one who rushed over to aid her sister. "PikaCHA! Pika! PiKA!" Lightning bolts were flying everywhere. The blue Rapidash created a bubble shield to guard them while she helped her sister back up. "Little rat thing! Stop this instance!" Demanded the white Rapidash. "I'M NOT A RATTATA!" "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" Soon they just became yelling wars until one luck shot with Thunder Bolt broke open the ropes. Pikachu ran as fast as he could. "Guards! Stop that rat!" Shouted the Rapidash'. Just then, tons of Ponyta's with out fire manes started chasing him. Pikachu ran into a room and slammed the door. He moved a chair to keep the door from opening while he figured out how to lock the door. Shing! Pikachu turned around to a purple light and a letter falling onto a comfy looking mat. Maybe it's important! The guards slammed open the door and the Rapidash' ran in. Nows his chance! "If you won't let me go I'll destroy this scroll!" Said Pikachu with a smirk on his face. "That's from...!" Exclaimed the white Rapidash. "Apprehend him, guards! Shouted the blue Rapidash. "Chuuuuuu!" Pikachu zapped the scroll, turning it to ash's. "Guards! Stand down! Stand down!" Shouted the white one. "You too, Luna. Go get a pouch ready, the size for a little rat thing." Ordered the white one. "Yes, sister..." Sighed "Luna". "You're in big trouble, you little rat!" Angered the white Rapidash. "What did I do!? You keep calling me Rattata!" Protested Pikachu. "I don't even know what that is!" Pikachu stopped for a second. Maybe these weren't Pokemon. "Where is Eevee?" Asked Pikachu calmly. "I don't know of any Eevee. Sorry." She said, noticing his sudden calmness. "I just.. want to go back..." Said Pikachu as he started to cry. Eevee was gone... His best friend... Gone... He cried harder. "Wait! Why are you...!?" The white being stopped, realizing she may have just taken him from his best friend. "I.. I'm sorry." Said Pikachu, wiping away his tears. "It's just after all I've been through..." "I'm sure we can settle this over tea." Said the white being. "I'm Princess Celestia. I am the ruler of the land you are in. "I'm Pikachu... I'm from Team Shock..." Said Pikachu, picking himself up off the floor. "Let me get the tea started and we can discuss what is going on at the dinner table." Said Celestia, not even going to ASK what he meant by Team. "I have the pouch, sis." Said Luna, walking up to Celestia. "Great. Now let's go make tea!" Said Celestia cheerfully, leaving Luna extremely confused. Luna looked to see if Celestia was far away so she couldn't hear. "I don't know what you did, you little rat, but I don't trust you one bit." Pikachu looked with a fearful look. "Alright! Tea's here! Said Celestia, trying to get Luna and Pikachu to walk faster to the dinner table. "Okay, now time to explain what is happening. You go first!" Said Celestia. "I'm just going to skip to the parts that matter, okay?" Asked Pikachu. "That'll do." "Well, to sum it up, I am from the future. I used to be a human." Said Pikachu. "Pardon? A... Human!?" Asked Celestia in shock. "Yes... I didn't know I was from the future though. I woke up on the beach a Pokemon." "Pokemon?" Asked Luna. "So you guys aren't Pokemon?" Asked Pikachu. "N-no. We're Ponies! Earth Ponies, Unicorn Ponies, Pegasus Ponies. Of course, We are Alicorns. Pegasus and Unicorns mixed." Said Celestia. "So like, a Ponyta?" Asked Pikachu. "Uh... Sure? I don't know. Just go on with your story, please." "Okay. So, I partnered up with Eevee, and we became best friends. We joined this guild as an Exploration team, Teams help people in need and discover new places. On day, a Time Gear was stolen. We soo-" Celestia interupted Pikachu. "What is a Time Gear?" "So you don't have Time Gears here. Time Gears make time go in certain places. They used to be only in Temporal Tower, but it caused to much attention being there. So they scattered them around the world." Explained Pikachu. "Okay... Continue." "Anyways, this guy named Grovyle (another Pokemon) Started to steal them. We all tried to stop him. Even Dusknoir helped us! But turns out Grovyle and Dusknoir were from the future, and Grovyle was good and Dusknoir was bad. We gathered the Gears after some events and went to Temporal Tower to fix time. But Grovyle stopped Dusknoir, and taking him to the future with him. That left me and Eevee. We defeated Dialga, the ruler of time, and put the Gears in there place. On our way back, I disappeared because I'm from the future. I woke up here. I should really be gone now!" "That's a sad story." Replied Celestia. But it does make more sense how you got here." "Why's that?" Asked Pikachu. "Because I was playing with time. I noticed a the bump in time and decided to bring it here. The timeline that you were from was disappearing, and you were too, but not in that timeline. In a timeline that you didn't belong. So I took you in to ask why you were disappearing in the wrong spot." Celestia kind of giggled at the end. "So if it weren't for you I'd be gone?" Asked Pikachu. "Yup!" Celestia was proud of herself. She saved someone from another dimension! "Since I saved you... I want to ask you for your help..." Said Celestia with a sort of irritated look. Secret BooksPikachu sighed. This pony intended to give him a tour of this town. He didn't care. All he wanted was to meet Twilight, get the letter, and get out. Celestia might send him off after that. Hopefully. Rarity walked into the main part of town where other ponies conversed with each other. Pikachu looked around. Just as he expected, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at them. No one was conversing anymore. There attentions and murmurs were now about the little yellow rat on the back of Rarity's back. No one panicked, though. Rarity didn't look panicky, and she's the on with it on her back, so why should they? If Rarity trusts it, they shouldn't reject it either, right? "What... is that THING?" Whispered on pony to another. "I... Can't tell if it's cute or..." They all glanced around at each other. None of them knew how to react. "Hey Rarity! What's that? It's sooooo cute! Is this a new friend for Opalescence?" Before Pikachu could comprehend what just happened, he was pulled off of Rarity's back and placed on the others. Pikachu shook his head and looked at his new mount. A pink pony with a pink mane. This pony sure likes pink! "Wh-what's going on!?" Pikachu said in a panicked voice. Instead of being answered the pink pony started to sing. "S-Someone help me!" Screamed the confused Pikachu. The pink pony grew louder and louder. Everyone just stared, not knowing how to react. "Uh... Pinkie, don't you think you should put him down?" Said Rarity, as she plugged the pink ponies mouth with her hoof. This was not time for one of her songs. "What? Why not? I sang a song when you got Opalescence." Protested the pink pony. "This isn't a pet. He's a foreigner. Not from Equestria." Explained Rarity as she looked around seeing that the everyone was looking at them. "Look away! Nothing to see here!" Exclaimed Rarity to the other ponies. They went back to there normal routines after finding out he was a foreigner. Ponyville gets lots of foreign visitors from donkeys to zebras. Though it was hard, they ignored it. "Oh... Sorry, little guy! What's your name?" Asked the pink pony. "I'm Pikachu... Now, since I have a chance to speak I would like to go see this Twilight pony. Then I can be on my way" Said Pikachu. Rarity looked a bit disappointed after hearing he wasn't here to spend money on her clothing. "Ooh! I can take you there! I'm Pinkie Pie, by the way. But you can call me Pinkie!" Announced Pinkie. "It's actually right over there!" Pikachu looked the way her hoof pointed. It was a large tree with a door. How cleverly cool. "Follow me!" Pinkie walked toward the door and knocked. "Hello!? Twilight!? Are you HOME!?" The door slammed open. "What is it Pinkie?" asked Twilight. Her hair was all messed up and her eyes were a a little bit bloodshot. "Are you okay, Twilight?" Asked Rarity. "I've been up all night! I just can't figure it out!" Said Twilight in frustration. "What is it?" Asked Pinkie "It's the Everfree Forest! Everything is just... frozen!" Responded Twilight. Rarity followed after Pinkie into the tree. "What's the matter Twilight?" "The Everfree!" Grunted Twilight with no further explanation. "Like time has stopped?" Pikachu spoke up. "Who said that?" Asked Twilight looking around the room. Rarity moved her head uncovering Pikachu on her back. "What is that?" Asked Twilight in confusion. "Well, his name is Pikachu. Excuse me if I ask, but what are you, Pikachu?" Questioned Rarity. "Me? I'm a Pikachu." "So... You're a Pikachu... and your name is Pikachu?" Asked Twilight. "Um... Yeah?" Hesitated Pikachu. "Well, I've certainly never heard of that kind of creature. Maybe Fluttersh-" Twilight was interrupted. "That's not a good idea. We can leave Fluttershy out of this." Rarity said. "Well, OK. If you insist..." Responded Twilight, opening a new book. "Hey... Pikachu. What do you mean by frozen time?" Pikachu began to think. That's right! Maybe this pony knows about what happened with time and dimensions! "Oh! Do you know how to access dimensions?" Responded Asked Pikachu. "Well, I guess. But the only way to do that is to mess with time itself. Only Luna and Celestia can do that." Twilight set a bookmark in her book and pulled out another to a certain page and started reading from it. "But, according to her theory, with accessing time, you can access a dimension. If you just hop dimensions there is no telling when you will appear. That's why you must have time, unless you control the dimensions themselves, of course." Twilight closed the book and started reading her previous one. "Why do you want to know?" "Well... How do I put this... I'm from another dimension." Pikachu struggled to get that out. They all looked at Pikachu in shock. "Another dimension!?" Startled Pinkie Pie. "Why didn't you tell us?" Asked Rarity. He can't spend any money if he doesn't have any! "Well, I might be able to help!" Twilight spoke up. "But I will need proof. I can't just lend out this kind of help to random creatures, you know. "I have a pass from Celestia that allows me to walk around this land without any trouble. Here it is." Pikachu removed the cloth with a strange design on it. "That's proof alright. I didn't know she still gave these out... This must be important." Twilight gasped in shock. Pikachu thought for a moment. He can't just tell her that the only reason he's here is to get a note and leave. He may find out how to leave. "Here... in here..." Twilight removed part of her flooring revealing steps to a downstairs cellar. "This way." Twilight switched on the lights in the cellar revealing yet another room of books. Though the room was not as big as the others, it held just as much books. "These are the Secret Books. Only those who have that cloth are allowed in to see the secret cellars in Equestria. I have one in this library. There are others, and with that symbol you can see them." Cannot Escape"Do you think we can stop running!?" Shouted Rarity. "I can't see the gray anymore, so we can take a break..." He replied, slowing his speed. "Time to explain yourself. What do you mean by other realms?" Questioned Pinkie Pie. "Celestia told me about it, she has some sort of magic ability to hack into other dimensions, like mine." Pikachu explained. "Wait, other dimensions? Like our world, but different?" Rarity pondered. "Not really. The land formations are way different here, so I think each one is different." He answered. "So why did Celestia take you out of yours, or did you jump into ours?" She questioned him again. "To put it simply... I really shouldn't exist..." He admitted. "What!?" Pinkie and Rarity exclaimed in sync. "Don't say that about yourself! Everypony exists for a reason, you shouldn't be any different!" Rarity said in a comforting tone. "Thanks, but by logic, I shouldn't be here. I'm from the future, I changed the future. I removed myself from history." He explained further, seeing the confusion on their face. "I was a human, I don't remember it, but my goal was to fix time itself. I did so by going back in time and cutting the problem at the source, but doing so resulted in a new future, one in which I do not exist." "But how does that relate to time freezing here?" Pinkie had a good point. Pikachu didn't know why time was suddenly freezing here. The only way it ever froze back in his world was when the Time Gears were removed. But no one here seems to know anything about time here, so maybe it was different. Pikachu couldn't muster up a reason on why time would stop here. Maybe it was time to see Celestia again. "I'm going to see Celestia. I want to ask her why this is happening." He informed. He was trying to think of a way to make the two ponies stop following him. They are absolutely useless in his journey, they are just going to slow him down. "Okay, we'll come too!" "Ehh, no. I would prefer to do this alone... By myself." He said. "Oh, um, Okay... We'll just be going then..." Pinkie sighed. As she said so, the gray crept up on them. They stopped for too long. "Wait! Run!" He shouted, warning them of their gray surroundings. But it was too late. The freezing of time struck them and they stood there lifelessly. The color in them was gone and they stood like statues. It was a sad sight. ________________________________________________________________________ "That's right, guards! The stopping of time is caused by a little yellow rat! Whoever finds it first will receive an increase in rank!" Celestia announced to her guards who were lined in formal military style. They stood quiet, but in their heads they cheered to themselves. An increase in rank equal an increase in pay, respect, and dignity. All of which each in every one of them wanted. "Leader of this search will be Shining Armor! Report all findings to him!" She said, welcoming to the microphone. "Thank you Celestia, it's an honor to lead this search." He said to the Princess. "Now. According to what I've been told, this rat is very dangerous. He's the size of a medium sized dog, so he's larger than the average rat, or all rats. In self defense he will electrocute you, so be warned. We don't know how strong his electric powers are exactly, so be cautious." "Now! Find that rat!" He shouted. All the guards cheered. A promotion was like gold to them. They scattered quickly to try and find him, but no one truly knew what they were looking for. Just that moment, Rainbow Dash flew by on her way back from Cloudsdale, but stopped to see what all the commotion was about. "Hey Princess! What are you and the guards doing out here in Unicorn Range?" She wondered. "Oh, there is a bit of a problem. If you see a gray area, don't touch it, can you promise me that, Rainbow Dash?" Celestia asked. "No problem! Anything for you, Princess! But seriously, what are you doing out here?" "Oh, the gray I spoke of earlier seems to be consuming our dear Equestria! So that leads me to my next question. If you find a yellow, rat-like creature, would you bring it to me? He seems to be causing the mess you see before you." Celestia motioned her hoof towards the horizon. Gray was coming, and fast. "Now's our time to run!" Celestia shouted, flying into the air. Rainbow Dashed followed closely behind as hordes of guards froze in the gray. _____________________________________________________ Pikachu ran, thinking about how to stop the gray. That's when it came to him. He was the problem. The reason the Gray wouldn't stop is because there are no items for different regions in the world. There is one flow of time and it's all synchronized as one. When one part is disturbed, the rest is affected as well. He go a safe distance away and stopped once more to catch his breath. Looking at his map, he appeared to be near the entrance of a desert. He planned a route for a town called Dodge City. "I'll just keep running until I find my way out..." Resue between Dimensions"Finally... Dodge City.." Pikachu looks around. It looked more like a run-down town than a city. The houses were made old wood, the doors flung right open so anyone could break in. In-fact, even a simple flame burst of a Charmander could set this town ablaze. Pikachu looked around a bit, maybe there was a place he could stay until his fate was met. But will people really just look the other way with him? No. All Ponies will question him, I mean, a talking yellow rat? The only reason they let him off easily in Ponyville is because he was with that Rarity Pony. Now thinking about it, he could really use a Pony to follow him right about now. Once again he's set in a strange town, but this time the Ponies looked ruder than ever. Pikachu looked a tall, white Unicorn type pony. He had golden armor, it looked nice. "Excuse me, sir, do you know of a place where I can rest?" He asked. The Unicorn looked down at him. That's him! The talking yellow rat! That promotion is mine! The Unicorn thought. Before Pikachu could question him again, he pulled hand-cuffs out of a pouch on his back. "You have committed crimes against Equestria and her people. What say you in your defense!?" "Wh-what!?" PIkachu panicked. "You heard me! You are the reason the time has stopped in Canterlot! I've been ordered to bring you alive to the Princess herself at Unicorn Range! Give up now!" He said with a smirk, not realizing he had just given away the Princess' location. "Thanks for the info! Take this!" Pikachu shouted, whipping the guard with harsh lightning. "Tell the other guards to stay away! I'm going to see Celestia myself!" _____________________________________________________________ Rainbow Dash looked around the outside of Ponyville in disbelief. All of it? It's ALL gray!? she thought. All of my friends... "Well, looks like I'll just have to find the rat now... I don't have anything else to do..." She sighed. At that moment she heard a rustling in a bush behind her. "Hello? Who's there!?" No! I've been spotted! Pikachu thought. "Who's there!? Come out now or I'll attack!" Rainbow said. "That's it! Hyah!" Rainbow Dash swooped down to punch the bush. "Wait, what?" Pikachu had latched on to her limbs and was now airborne with her. "Hey you little rat, get offa me!" He held on tight while Rainbow swung her limbs around and tried to pry him off. "Wait! You're that rat the Princess was talking about! You're coming with me!" She shouted. "Wait! No! I was already heading there myself!" Pikachu exclaimed. "What? You can talk?" She said, lowering her altitude more and more. "Yes! I can do more than that! Just let me down!" "Okay, okay. I'll let you down, But only if you explain yourself." She finally reached the ground. "Understood!?" "Yes yes! Okay, I will! You see, Celestia brought me here and I was jusSSSSS WAH!" A burst came from the north, forcing them to slide a few feet. "What was that!?" Cried Pikachu. "It came from Unicorn Range! Let's check it out." She said, running towards the big boom. __________________________________________________________ "What was that!?" Exclaimed Shining Armor to the Princess. "I... I don't know..." She said. A second large boom appeared before them, but this one letting out a blue aurora. "Hey! Unicorn Range is unfreezing!" Pointed out one of the guards. "What is that!?" Shouted Shining. A large, blue figure had appeared upon a third boom. It looked angry. "I AM HERE TO TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE STOLEN." The figure said. "Oh no... Shining! Get out of here! It's not safe! "What about you, Princess!?" He said. "I'll be fine, just go!" "WHERE IS HE? YOU HAVE CORRUPTED THE DIMENSIONS FOR TAKING WHAT DOES NOT BELONG." "What do you mean!?" "YOU CLEARLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS BEING TOLD TO YOU." "I don't know what you're talking about!" "YOU KNOW EVERYTHING. STOP BEING IGNORANT.GRAHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed. Time around them slowed and Celestia was hit hard. "IF YOU DO NOT TELL ME WHERE HE IS I WILL PERSONALLY DESTROY THIS DIMENSION." He lifted a chunk of land and destroyed it, making it into thin air. "Okay! I'll talk!" "GOOD. WHERE IS HE." "Well. I do not know exactly, but I have guards searching for him at this very moment!" Celestia's voice started to tremble. "Hey! What's that?" Asked Rainbow. Celestia and the blue creature both looked in that direction. "That's... Dialga!?" Answered Pikachu. What is Dialga doing here!? "I HAVE FOUND YOU, PIKACHU. I AM SORRY, BUT YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THIS LAND. I CAN NOT ALLOW YOU TO STAY HERE." Dialga said. "I understand..." Pikachu said with a sad look. He thought there would be a chance he could go back and see Eevee. "IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO LEAVE. WE MUST FIX THE WHOLE IN TIME." Dialga said, repeating his strange roar again. A light flashed and they were gone. _______________________________________________________ "Huh? Going out Eevee?" Asked Bidoof. "Yes. Out for a walk." She replied. "Yup yup! Sounds great!" He cheered. "But dinner is soon! Don't wanna miss that!" "OK. Understood." She said, walking down the steps of the guild. Eevee went to the beach, to see the sights and enjoy the stroll. "Wow! this is beautiful!" She exclaimed. The Krabby were on the edges, shooting their bubble into the air. The bubbles reflecting off of the setting sun made a scene beautiful. "I haven't seen this in a long time... It's as beautiful as I remember. I've just been too busy to come and see it." She said. "But I've missed this... Fantastic sight..." "When was that last time I saw this...?" She wondered. "Oh... Yeah. The last time I saw this... It was... when I met Pikachu..." She remembered the time they first met. She was on the beach when she noticed him knocked out on the sand... "The view is like that time..." She sighed as she walked over to the rock she met him on. "I saw him right there... Pikachu was unconscious... That was when Pikachu and I... That was when our adventure first started..." Would you form an exploration team with me? She remembered the question she asked him when he saved her Relic Fragment... The time where he gave her the courage to jump in the waterfall... All of the memories of Pikachu started flashing before her eyes. "Those memories... I remember them all so fondly..." She said, starting to form tears in her eyes. "All those memories of Pikachu... Said Celestia. "But won't ponies see me as a threat? I saw you as a murderous Rapidash." Said Pikachu while slurping his tea. "Hmm... That will be a problem..." Responded Celestia in thought. "I know! Luna, do you still have that pouch?" "Yeah, why?" Said Luna in confusion. "We can put some sort of identification that he's good." Said Celestia. "But people will still run from the sight of him." Argued Luna with a problem solving look on her face. "That will be his problem. Remember, the Elements are there. If he can get to Fluttershy then he can get to the rest of the town. "I'm sorry, sis. I don't know the Elements as well as you do. I'll just leave this plan to you." Said Luna as she walked out the door, leaving her tea lying cold on the table. "Well, here. Take this letter. Find Fluttershy and befriend her. She will be able to let you see Twilight Sparkle and you can get that letter back! Okay? I need that letter! Understood? Then get on with it!" Said the Princess cheerfully. "Okay..." Sighed Pikachu, who had just finished his tea. Celestia walked Pikachu outside of the castle and handed him her map. The map had each city, town, forest, farm, anything you could THINK of in Equestria. The princess levitated a quill and a container of ink. She started to draw a line from a place called Canterlot to a place called Everfree Forest, and then a small little hut. "I want you to follow this path from here," Celestia pointed to Canterlot, showing that was there current location. "here," Celestia moved the quill to point at the Everfree Forest. "and here, where you'll find a friendly yellow Pony with a pink mane. She'll likely be tending to small woodland creatures like a bunny, or a bird." Celestia pointed to the small shack. "Don't let me down!" Shouted Celestia as Pikachu walked out the gates of Canterlot. "Okay." Nodded Pikachu, still trying to figure out what she meant by a bunny and bird. Could she have meant Buneary? No wait, Pokemon don't exist in this dimension... Everything is just so confusing. "Why am I here? I would rather be gone than to live a life without Eevee. Knowing that she's miserable without me... Well, she has the guild... but... I wish there was at least some way to tell her I was OK..." Pikachu said, talking to himself. After a few moments of staring at the map and the dirt path, Pikachu found to be standing in front of a forest which named on the map "The Everfree." The path faded a bit, and every step he took his stomach ached. He's been on plenty of creepy adventures, but something was off about this place. More than usual. He looked around to make sure of his surroundings. He saw nothing of great significance. Trees, trees, and more trees. He had gotten lost. Pikachu looked up in the sky. The time hadn't changed. He has been wandering for hours on end and nothing has happened. The only noises that were made were the ones of his own footsteps. "I guess I should set up camp..." Pikachu said to himself, worrying about the awkward quietness. Something wasn't right. Pikachu gathered a few large leaves and placed them in the center of a small clearing. Looking back up at the sky, he noticed it still hadn't changed. Time has stopped here. But why? This place has no Time Gears. It must have something else... But no time to think of that now. Pikachu's eyelids were starting to close. He lay there on his back, thinking about what would happen when he left the forest. Is time still flowing out there? What if it suddenly stopped. Maybe it had something to do with him. It would only make sense. He did just come from a place with time problems of its own. "I need some sleep... Thinking won't help..." Whispered Pikachu to himself. He soon drifted into a deep sleep... Thump thump thump... Pikachu awoke from his slumber to find that a yellow and pink creature had taken him out of the forest and placed him on its back. She matched the description of Fluttershy. He shifted his eyes to the sky. It was daytime. Did he just imagine the time not changing? Maybe it was the clouds... Who knew? "Why hello, little guy! Glad to see you're awake! What's your name?" Asked Fluttershy, not expecting an answer. "Um... I'm Pikachu," Said Pikachu, still trying to fully wake up. "I'm looking for Twilight Sparkle." Fluttershy stopped and moved her head to where she could slightly see Pikachu on her back. "Did you just...?" Fluttershy was astonished. Did that yellow thing just talk!? "Did I what? What did I do?" Just that moment Fluttershy ran into her hut, forcing Pikachu to fall off her back. "Well that's just grand. I guess creatures don't take too kindly to things they don't know talking." Pikachu kicked the ground in anger. Nothing is going right. He may as well give up... "Fluttershy? Fluttershy dear! I've got those carrots you wanted. Fluttershy?" Pikachu jolted his head towards the sound of the voice. A white pony. Pikachu switched his attention to a small nearby bush. If Fluttershy was startled, then this one will most likely be too. Pikachu jumped into the bush to hide from the white mare, only to find himself trapped caught up in it's thorny branches. He thought of crying for help, but that would cause quite a bit of problems. Pikachu held is head low, closed his eyes and swallowed his screams before they left his mouth for if he made a small noise he would have been spotted. "Fluttershy? Hello? Are you in there?" Said the white mare knocking at Fluttershy's door. "Rarity... Did you see it?" Whispered Fluttershy. "See what, dear? What am I looking at?" Responded Rarity in confusion. "That... thing... where is it?" Fluttershy was sounding more and more worried. "Oh, Fluttershy, you were probably just imagining things again. Remember when Angel's shadow looked like a dragon last bonfire we had? You did the same thing. Huddled in your house." Rarity started to laugh, trying to sooth Fluttershy of her fear. "I still think there was a dragon" Fluttershy joked, gesturing her friend that she was OK. "Well, come on out, Fluttershy, I'll help you feed your bunnies the carrots!" Offered Rarity. "Well, okay." Responded Fluttershy who looked back and forth out of the doorway to make sure the yellow rat wasn't there. She knew he was there, just not in sight. Oh man... Thought Pikachu. These thorns hurt so much... I need to call for help! But they're on the other side of the house... What do I do? Pikachu was in pain, and the thorns were starting to penetrate his skin, causing him to bleed a little bit I can't escape... What do I do? Maybe they won't hurt me if I casually ask for a carrot... Yeah! That's what I'll do! Pikachu waited until they walked near the door of the hut again "Well, Fluttershy, here are the remaining carrots. I must be off, I have an important outfit I'm working on for Rainbow Dash! It's her birthday coming up, so don't forget to get her a gift!" "I won't! Good lu-" Fluttershy was interrupted by a slightly familiar voice. "Carrots!" Blurted Pikachu. No! I messed it up! "Carrots? Um, yes. I just gave you the carrots." Rarity said. "I didn't say that... He did" Said Fluttershy who was slowly backing up into her house. "Who did, dear? Speak up!" Rarity looked around trying to see who else was accompanying them. Fluttershy pointed her hoof to a bush with a yellow rat in the center. "What is... that?" Asked Rarity. "The monster from before!" Squealed Fluttershy, who quickly slammed her door in Rarity's face. "Monster? I'll be the judge of that!" Announced Rarity who triumphantly marched towards the bush. "Hello, little cutie! What's your name?" Asked Rarity. "I'm Pikachu?" Hesitated Pikachu. What was Rarity going to do? "Well I'm Rarity!" She said as she untangled him from the bushes. "Okay...?" Responded Pikachu, confused on why she was untangling him. "There we go! All untangled! Now, why would Fluttershy be afraid of you? She loves creatures from the Everfree!" Rarity was examining Pikachu's strange rat like appearance. "I talked... and she ran..." Pikachu was catching his breath from being levitated out of the bush. "Well, lot's of animals talk... like parrots?" Responded Rarity, trying to think up talking animals. "I don't know what that is..." Said Pikachu, titling his head in confusion. "You don't know what a parrot is? Are you even from Equestria?" Rarity was know in shock to be seeing one who might not even be from her country. Not for the normal reasons, though. She wanted to know if he was famous, maybe he was rich! Oh the clothes she could make! The money she would receive! "Uh... no...?" Pikachu's head was still tilted. Not because of the new creatures he was learning about, but because of how quick this pony came to somewhat trust him. "Well, I need to take you to the library! My friend owns it, so we have easy access to all books! I can teach you so many things!" Rarity wore a large smile and handed him her hoof. "Hop on!" Pikachu grabbed hold of her hoof and she flung him to her saddle bag which used to hold the carrots and was now empty. "You're going to just LOVE Equestria!" Supid Yellow Rat."You've been hiding these books from us all this time, Twilight?" Asked Rarity. "Wait... You mean you didn't know? Aren't you with Pikachu here?" Twilight's eyes widened. "What? We were just giving him a tour around Ponyville! We didn't know him beforehand!" Exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "Then I have no choice! I'm sorry, but until I find a solution..." The doors began to close as she spoke. "I'm going to have to lock us in. I'm sor--" She froze, with a blank stare, not moving even the slightest, as if she isn't even breathing... "Hello? Twilight?" Asked Pikachu. "Hey guys... Whats wrong with her?" He said as Twilight's colors began to dim. "I don't know! Why, even the ground around her is starting to gray!" Exclaimed Rarity. That's when it clicked. He remembered the gray, it was freezing time. Pikachu dashed to the door which was stopped at half closed. "Let's go!" He shouted, climbing under it. The two ponies shrugged and followed out the door. When they reached the outside, half of Ponyville was already gray, and the growth of it was accelerating at an alarming rate. "What was that!?" Rarity shouted towards Pikachu. "The colorlessness consuming the town! What was that!?" "Time is stopping! What object do you use to keep time in order!?" Pikachu asked. "According to the history books, Discord did it before Celestia and Luna took over, so I would assume it would be them!" Responded Rarity. They finally reached a safe distance and stopped to breath. "What's going on!?" Asked Pinkie. "Time is stopping, your object that holds time has been removed from its spot. Each realm should have an object and a Governor of time." Pikachu responded. "Wait, what do you mean "other realms?"" Asked Rarity. "I'll tell you later, the gray is expanding faster! Run!" ____________________________________________________________________ "What's that behind you, sis?" Asked Luna. "What's what?" Responded Celestia, looking behind her. "Uh oh." "What? What's wrong!?" Half-worried Luna. "Evacuate the city. This could be a problem." Celestia demanded with an irritating stare. "But sis, I jus--" "I said evacuate the city!" She shouted. "Send the remaining citizens to Manehatten, and you and the guards meet me at Unicorn Range." She added. "We've got a stupid yellow rat to catch."
Wait... What?"No! Pikachu! Please don't leave! If you leave... I'll... I'll..." Eevee was screaming for her best friend had to disappear. The lights that were coming out of Pikachu were now speeding up. He had to leave now... "Eevee... Don't forget me. Tell everyone what had happened here, tell the guild, tell the town. Make sure the story spreads as far as possible so history won't repeat itself. That's my last wish... Please..." Pikachu was now completely covered by light, Eevee couldn't see Pikachu's face. A few moments later it was all gone. Pikachu was erased from existence. "Pikachu... I will! I will tell every one! Because it was your... final wish..." Eevee was riding the Rainbow Stoneship back to the Hidden Land. The further she went, the more sad she got. But what REALLY happened to Pikachu? Pikachu opened his eyes to find a white Rapidash with wings and no flames staring at him. "Wha... What!? Rapidash's d-don't have wings...!" Pikachu was starting to fade out. Traveling through dimensions can be tough on ones body. A few moments later, he awoke with a thud. That Rapidash must be trying to kill him! "Hello? Little rat thing? Are you awake?" Asked the Rapidash. "Rat... Rat thing? I'm not a rat... I'm... I'm a..." Pikachu was fading again. THUD! "Wha-What's going on!? Where am I!? Where's Eevee!?" Pikachu was freaking out. It keeps hitting him! His new surroundings made him terrified. "Eevee? Who's that?" Said a voice. Pikachu looked over as fast as he could to find two strange Rapidash'. One was the white one, and another a shorter blue one. Just then, Pikachu noticed there odd colored mane. Was that there fire? "Eevee's my... best friend" Said Pikachu, still sorta out of it. "Well, at least we know it has emotions!" Said the blue Rapidash. They both laughed at him. "Why are you laughing at me!?" Shouted Pikachu. "Because you're a little yellow rat! I'm also surprised my spell worked!" Giggled the white one. "Let me out of these restraints!" Demanded Pikachu who had just fully woken up, realizing he was tied up. "We don't know what you're capable of! You might be able to kill us!" They both started laughing again. Why won't they take him seriously!? "PikaCHA!" Shouted Pikachu as he mustered his strength to hit one of the Rapidash with Thunder Wave. "Sister!? Are you OK!?" Worried the blue one who rushed over to aid her sister. "PikaCHA! Pika! PiKA!" Lightning bolts were flying everywhere. The blue Rapidash created a bubble shield to guard them while she helped her sister back up. "Little rat thing! Stop this instance!" Demanded the white Rapidash. "I'M NOT A RATTATA!" "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" Soon they just became yelling wars until one luck shot with Thunder Bolt broke open the ropes. Pikachu ran as fast as he could. "Guards! Stop that rat!" Shouted the Rapidash'. Just then, tons of Ponyta's with out fire manes started chasing him. Pikachu ran into a room and slammed the door. He moved a chair to keep the door from opening while he figured out how to lock the door. Shing! Pikachu turned around to a purple light and a letter falling onto a comfy looking mat. Maybe it's important! The guards slammed open the door and the Rapidash' ran in. Nows his chance! "If you won't let me go I'll destroy this scroll!" Said Pikachu with a smirk on his face. "That's from...!" Exclaimed the white Rapidash. "Apprehend him, guards! Shouted the blue Rapidash. "Chuuuuuu!" Pikachu zapped the scroll, turning it to ash's. "Guards! Stand down! Stand down!" Shouted the white one. "You too, Luna. Go get a pouch ready, the size for a little rat thing." Ordered the white one. "Yes, sister..." Sighed "Luna". "You're in big trouble, you little rat!" Angered the white Rapidash. "What did I do!? You keep calling me Rattata!" Protested Pikachu. "I don't even know what that is!" Pikachu stopped for a second. Maybe these weren't Pokemon. "Where is Eevee?" Asked Pikachu calmly. "I don't know of any Eevee. Sorry." She said, noticing his sudden calmness. "I just.. want to go back..." Said Pikachu as he started to cry. Eevee was gone... His best friend... Gone... He cried harder. "Wait! Why are you...!?" The white being stopped, realizing she may have just taken him from his best friend. "I.. I'm sorry." Said Pikachu, wiping away his tears. "It's just after all I've been through..." "I'm sure we can settle this over tea." Said the white being. "I'm Princess Celestia. I am the ruler of the land you are in. "I'm Pikachu... I'm from Team Shock..." Said Pikachu, picking himself up off the floor. "Let me get the tea started and we can discuss what is going on at the dinner table." Said Celestia, not even going to ASK what he meant by Team. "I have the pouch, sis." Said Luna, walking up to Celestia. "Great. Now let's go make tea!" Said Celestia cheerfully, leaving Luna extremely confused. Luna looked to see if Celestia was far away so she couldn't hear. "I don't know what you did, you little rat, but I don't trust you one bit." Pikachu looked with a fearful look. "Alright! Tea's here! Said Celestia, trying to get Luna and Pikachu to walk faster to the dinner table. "Okay, now time to explain what is happening. You go first!" Said Celestia. "I'm just going to skip to the parts that matter, okay?" Asked Pikachu. "That'll do." "Well, to sum it up, I am from the future. I used to be a human." Said Pikachu. "Pardon? A... Human!?" Asked Celestia in shock. "Yes... I didn't know I was from the future though. I woke up on the beach a Pokemon." "Pokemon?" Asked Luna. "So you guys aren't Pokemon?" Asked Pikachu. "N-no. We're Ponies! Earth Ponies, Unicorn Ponies, Pegasus Ponies. Of course, We are Alicorns. Pegasus and Unicorns mixed." Said Celestia. "So like, a Ponyta?" Asked Pikachu. "Uh... Sure? I don't know. Just go on with your story, please." "Okay. So, I partnered up with Eevee, and we became best friends. We joined this guild as an Exploration team, Teams help people in need and discover new places. On day, a Time Gear was stolen. We soo-" Celestia interupted Pikachu. "What is a Time Gear?" "So you don't have Time Gears here. Time Gears make time go in certain places. They used to be only in Temporal Tower, but it caused to much attention being there. So they scattered them around the world." Explained Pikachu. "Okay... Continue." "Anyways, this guy named Grovyle (another Pokemon) Started to steal them. We all tried to stop him. Even Dusknoir helped us! But turns out Grovyle and Dusknoir were from the future, and Grovyle was good and Dusknoir was bad. We gathered the Gears after some events and went to Temporal Tower to fix time. But Grovyle stopped Dusknoir, and taking him to the future with him. That left me and Eevee. We defeated Dialga, the ruler of time, and put the Gears in there place. On our way back, I disappeared because I'm from the future. I woke up here. I should really be gone now!" "That's a sad story." Replied Celestia. But it does make more sense how you got here." "Why's that?" Asked Pikachu. "Because I was playing with time. I noticed a the bump in time and decided to bring it here. The timeline that you were from was disappearing, and you were too, but not in that timeline. In a timeline that you didn't belong. So I took you in to ask why you were disappearing in the wrong spot." Celestia kind of giggled at the end. "So if it weren't for you I'd be gone?" Asked Pikachu. "Yup!" Celestia was proud of herself. She saved someone from another dimension! "Since I saved you... I want to ask you for your help..." Said Celestia with a sort of irritated look.
Secret BooksPikachu sighed. This pony intended to give him a tour of this town. He didn't care. All he wanted was to meet Twilight, get the letter, and get out. Celestia might send him off after that. Hopefully. Rarity walked into the main part of town where other ponies conversed with each other. Pikachu looked around. Just as he expected, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at them. No one was conversing anymore. There attentions and murmurs were now about the little yellow rat on the back of Rarity's back. No one panicked, though. Rarity didn't look panicky, and she's the on with it on her back, so why should they? If Rarity trusts it, they shouldn't reject it either, right? "What... is that THING?" Whispered on pony to another. "I... Can't tell if it's cute or..." They all glanced around at each other. None of them knew how to react. "Hey Rarity! What's that? It's sooooo cute! Is this a new friend for Opalescence?" Before Pikachu could comprehend what just happened, he was pulled off of Rarity's back and placed on the others. Pikachu shook his head and looked at his new mount. A pink pony with a pink mane. This pony sure likes pink! "Wh-what's going on!?" Pikachu said in a panicked voice. Instead of being answered the pink pony started to sing. "S-Someone help me!" Screamed the confused Pikachu. The pink pony grew louder and louder. Everyone just stared, not knowing how to react. "Uh... Pinkie, don't you think you should put him down?" Said Rarity, as she plugged the pink ponies mouth with her hoof. This was not time for one of her songs. "What? Why not? I sang a song when you got Opalescence." Protested the pink pony. "This isn't a pet. He's a foreigner. Not from Equestria." Explained Rarity as she looked around seeing that the everyone was looking at them. "Look away! Nothing to see here!" Exclaimed Rarity to the other ponies. They went back to there normal routines after finding out he was a foreigner. Ponyville gets lots of foreign visitors from donkeys to zebras. Though it was hard, they ignored it. "Oh... Sorry, little guy! What's your name?" Asked the pink pony. "I'm Pikachu... Now, since I have a chance to speak I would like to go see this Twilight pony. Then I can be on my way" Said Pikachu. Rarity looked a bit disappointed after hearing he wasn't here to spend money on her clothing. "Ooh! I can take you there! I'm Pinkie Pie, by the way. But you can call me Pinkie!" Announced Pinkie. "It's actually right over there!" Pikachu looked the way her hoof pointed. It was a large tree with a door. How cleverly cool. "Follow me!" Pinkie walked toward the door and knocked. "Hello!? Twilight!? Are you HOME!?" The door slammed open. "What is it Pinkie?" asked Twilight. Her hair was all messed up and her eyes were a a little bit bloodshot. "Are you okay, Twilight?" Asked Rarity. "I've been up all night! I just can't figure it out!" Said Twilight in frustration. "What is it?" Asked Pinkie "It's the Everfree Forest! Everything is just... frozen!" Responded Twilight. Rarity followed after Pinkie into the tree. "What's the matter Twilight?" "The Everfree!" Grunted Twilight with no further explanation. "Like time has stopped?" Pikachu spoke up. "Who said that?" Asked Twilight looking around the room. Rarity moved her head uncovering Pikachu on her back. "What is that?" Asked Twilight in confusion. "Well, his name is Pikachu. Excuse me if I ask, but what are you, Pikachu?" Questioned Rarity. "Me? I'm a Pikachu." "So... You're a Pikachu... and your name is Pikachu?" Asked Twilight. "Um... Yeah?" Hesitated Pikachu. "Well, I've certainly never heard of that kind of creature. Maybe Fluttersh-" Twilight was interrupted. "That's not a good idea. We can leave Fluttershy out of this." Rarity said. "Well, OK. If you insist..." Responded Twilight, opening a new book. "Hey... Pikachu. What do you mean by frozen time?" Pikachu began to think. That's right! Maybe this pony knows about what happened with time and dimensions! "Oh! Do you know how to access dimensions?" Responded Asked Pikachu. "Well, I guess. But the only way to do that is to mess with time itself. Only Luna and Celestia can do that." Twilight set a bookmark in her book and pulled out another to a certain page and started reading from it. "But, according to her theory, with accessing time, you can access a dimension. If you just hop dimensions there is no telling when you will appear. That's why you must have time, unless you control the dimensions themselves, of course." Twilight closed the book and started reading her previous one. "Why do you want to know?" "Well... How do I put this... I'm from another dimension." Pikachu struggled to get that out. They all looked at Pikachu in shock. "Another dimension!?" Startled Pinkie Pie. "Why didn't you tell us?" Asked Rarity. He can't spend any money if he doesn't have any! "Well, I might be able to help!" Twilight spoke up. "But I will need proof. I can't just lend out this kind of help to random creatures, you know. "I have a pass from Celestia that allows me to walk around this land without any trouble. Here it is." Pikachu removed the cloth with a strange design on it. "That's proof alright. I didn't know she still gave these out... This must be important." Twilight gasped in shock. Pikachu thought for a moment. He can't just tell her that the only reason he's here is to get a note and leave. He may find out how to leave. "Here... in here..." Twilight removed part of her flooring revealing steps to a downstairs cellar. "This way." Twilight switched on the lights in the cellar revealing yet another room of books. Though the room was not as big as the others, it held just as much books. "These are the Secret Books. Only those who have that cloth are allowed in to see the secret cellars in Equestria. I have one in this library. There are others, and with that symbol you can see them."
Cannot Escape"Do you think we can stop running!?" Shouted Rarity. "I can't see the gray anymore, so we can take a break..." He replied, slowing his speed. "Time to explain yourself. What do you mean by other realms?" Questioned Pinkie Pie. "Celestia told me about it, she has some sort of magic ability to hack into other dimensions, like mine." Pikachu explained. "Wait, other dimensions? Like our world, but different?" Rarity pondered. "Not really. The land formations are way different here, so I think each one is different." He answered. "So why did Celestia take you out of yours, or did you jump into ours?" She questioned him again. "To put it simply... I really shouldn't exist..." He admitted. "What!?" Pinkie and Rarity exclaimed in sync. "Don't say that about yourself! Everypony exists for a reason, you shouldn't be any different!" Rarity said in a comforting tone. "Thanks, but by logic, I shouldn't be here. I'm from the future, I changed the future. I removed myself from history." He explained further, seeing the confusion on their face. "I was a human, I don't remember it, but my goal was to fix time itself. I did so by going back in time and cutting the problem at the source, but doing so resulted in a new future, one in which I do not exist." "But how does that relate to time freezing here?" Pinkie had a good point. Pikachu didn't know why time was suddenly freezing here. The only way it ever froze back in his world was when the Time Gears were removed. But no one here seems to know anything about time here, so maybe it was different. Pikachu couldn't muster up a reason on why time would stop here. Maybe it was time to see Celestia again. "I'm going to see Celestia. I want to ask her why this is happening." He informed. He was trying to think of a way to make the two ponies stop following him. They are absolutely useless in his journey, they are just going to slow him down. "Okay, we'll come too!" "Ehh, no. I would prefer to do this alone... By myself." He said. "Oh, um, Okay... We'll just be going then..." Pinkie sighed. As she said so, the gray crept up on them. They stopped for too long. "Wait! Run!" He shouted, warning them of their gray surroundings. But it was too late. The freezing of time struck them and they stood there lifelessly. The color in them was gone and they stood like statues. It was a sad sight. ________________________________________________________________________ "That's right, guards! The stopping of time is caused by a little yellow rat! Whoever finds it first will receive an increase in rank!" Celestia announced to her guards who were lined in formal military style. They stood quiet, but in their heads they cheered to themselves. An increase in rank equal an increase in pay, respect, and dignity. All of which each in every one of them wanted. "Leader of this search will be Shining Armor! Report all findings to him!" She said, welcoming to the microphone. "Thank you Celestia, it's an honor to lead this search." He said to the Princess. "Now. According to what I've been told, this rat is very dangerous. He's the size of a medium sized dog, so he's larger than the average rat, or all rats. In self defense he will electrocute you, so be warned. We don't know how strong his electric powers are exactly, so be cautious." "Now! Find that rat!" He shouted. All the guards cheered. A promotion was like gold to them. They scattered quickly to try and find him, but no one truly knew what they were looking for. Just that moment, Rainbow Dash flew by on her way back from Cloudsdale, but stopped to see what all the commotion was about. "Hey Princess! What are you and the guards doing out here in Unicorn Range?" She wondered. "Oh, there is a bit of a problem. If you see a gray area, don't touch it, can you promise me that, Rainbow Dash?" Celestia asked. "No problem! Anything for you, Princess! But seriously, what are you doing out here?" "Oh, the gray I spoke of earlier seems to be consuming our dear Equestria! So that leads me to my next question. If you find a yellow, rat-like creature, would you bring it to me? He seems to be causing the mess you see before you." Celestia motioned her hoof towards the horizon. Gray was coming, and fast. "Now's our time to run!" Celestia shouted, flying into the air. Rainbow Dashed followed closely behind as hordes of guards froze in the gray. _____________________________________________________ Pikachu ran, thinking about how to stop the gray. That's when it came to him. He was the problem. The reason the Gray wouldn't stop is because there are no items for different regions in the world. There is one flow of time and it's all synchronized as one. When one part is disturbed, the rest is affected as well. He go a safe distance away and stopped once more to catch his breath. Looking at his map, he appeared to be near the entrance of a desert. He planned a route for a town called Dodge City. "I'll just keep running until I find my way out..."
Resue between Dimensions"Finally... Dodge City.." Pikachu looks around. It looked more like a run-down town than a city. The houses were made old wood, the doors flung right open so anyone could break in. In-fact, even a simple flame burst of a Charmander could set this town ablaze. Pikachu looked around a bit, maybe there was a place he could stay until his fate was met. But will people really just look the other way with him? No. All Ponies will question him, I mean, a talking yellow rat? The only reason they let him off easily in Ponyville is because he was with that Rarity Pony. Now thinking about it, he could really use a Pony to follow him right about now. Once again he's set in a strange town, but this time the Ponies looked ruder than ever. Pikachu looked a tall, white Unicorn type pony. He had golden armor, it looked nice. "Excuse me, sir, do you know of a place where I can rest?" He asked. The Unicorn looked down at him. That's him! The talking yellow rat! That promotion is mine! The Unicorn thought. Before Pikachu could question him again, he pulled hand-cuffs out of a pouch on his back. "You have committed crimes against Equestria and her people. What say you in your defense!?" "Wh-what!?" PIkachu panicked. "You heard me! You are the reason the time has stopped in Canterlot! I've been ordered to bring you alive to the Princess herself at Unicorn Range! Give up now!" He said with a smirk, not realizing he had just given away the Princess' location. "Thanks for the info! Take this!" Pikachu shouted, whipping the guard with harsh lightning. "Tell the other guards to stay away! I'm going to see Celestia myself!" _____________________________________________________________ Rainbow Dash looked around the outside of Ponyville in disbelief. All of it? It's ALL gray!? she thought. All of my friends... "Well, looks like I'll just have to find the rat now... I don't have anything else to do..." She sighed. At that moment she heard a rustling in a bush behind her. "Hello? Who's there!?" No! I've been spotted! Pikachu thought. "Who's there!? Come out now or I'll attack!" Rainbow said. "That's it! Hyah!" Rainbow Dash swooped down to punch the bush. "Wait, what?" Pikachu had latched on to her limbs and was now airborne with her. "Hey you little rat, get offa me!" He held on tight while Rainbow swung her limbs around and tried to pry him off. "Wait! You're that rat the Princess was talking about! You're coming with me!" She shouted. "Wait! No! I was already heading there myself!" Pikachu exclaimed. "What? You can talk?" She said, lowering her altitude more and more. "Yes! I can do more than that! Just let me down!" "Okay, okay. I'll let you down, But only if you explain yourself." She finally reached the ground. "Understood!?" "Yes yes! Okay, I will! You see, Celestia brought me here and I was jusSSSSS WAH!" A burst came from the north, forcing them to slide a few feet. "What was that!?" Cried Pikachu. "It came from Unicorn Range! Let's check it out." She said, running towards the big boom. __________________________________________________________ "What was that!?" Exclaimed Shining Armor to the Princess. "I... I don't know..." She said. A second large boom appeared before them, but this one letting out a blue aurora. "Hey! Unicorn Range is unfreezing!" Pointed out one of the guards. "What is that!?" Shouted Shining. A large, blue figure had appeared upon a third boom. It looked angry. "I AM HERE TO TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE STOLEN." The figure said. "Oh no... Shining! Get out of here! It's not safe! "What about you, Princess!?" He said. "I'll be fine, just go!" "WHERE IS HE? YOU HAVE CORRUPTED THE DIMENSIONS FOR TAKING WHAT DOES NOT BELONG." "What do you mean!?" "YOU CLEARLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS BEING TOLD TO YOU." "I don't know what you're talking about!" "YOU KNOW EVERYTHING. STOP BEING IGNORANT.GRAHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed. Time around them slowed and Celestia was hit hard. "IF YOU DO NOT TELL ME WHERE HE IS I WILL PERSONALLY DESTROY THIS DIMENSION." He lifted a chunk of land and destroyed it, making it into thin air. "Okay! I'll talk!" "GOOD. WHERE IS HE." "Well. I do not know exactly, but I have guards searching for him at this very moment!" Celestia's voice started to tremble. "Hey! What's that?" Asked Rainbow. Celestia and the blue creature both looked in that direction. "That's... Dialga!?" Answered Pikachu. What is Dialga doing here!? "I HAVE FOUND YOU, PIKACHU. I AM SORRY, BUT YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THIS LAND. I CAN NOT ALLOW YOU TO STAY HERE." Dialga said. "I understand..." Pikachu said with a sad look. He thought there would be a chance he could go back and see Eevee. "IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO LEAVE. WE MUST FIX THE WHOLE IN TIME." Dialga said, repeating his strange roar again. A light flashed and they were gone. _______________________________________________________ "Huh? Going out Eevee?" Asked Bidoof. "Yes. Out for a walk." She replied. "Yup yup! Sounds great!" He cheered. "But dinner is soon! Don't wanna miss that!" "OK. Understood." She said, walking down the steps of the guild. Eevee went to the beach, to see the sights and enjoy the stroll. "Wow! this is beautiful!" She exclaimed. The Krabby were on the edges, shooting their bubble into the air. The bubbles reflecting off of the setting sun made a scene beautiful. "I haven't seen this in a long time... It's as beautiful as I remember. I've just been too busy to come and see it." She said. "But I've missed this... Fantastic sight..." "When was that last time I saw this...?" She wondered. "Oh... Yeah. The last time I saw this... It was... when I met Pikachu..." She remembered the time they first met. She was on the beach when she noticed him knocked out on the sand... "The view is like that time..." She sighed as she walked over to the rock she met him on. "I saw him right there... Pikachu was unconscious... That was when Pikachu and I... That was when our adventure first started..." Would you form an exploration team with me? She remembered the question she asked him when he saved her Relic Fragment... The time where he gave her the courage to jump in the waterfall... All of the memories of Pikachu started flashing before her eyes. "Those memories... I remember them all so fondly..." She said, starting to form tears in her eyes. "All those memories of Pikachu... Memories..." "But now... he's gone... He... Isn't here anymore..." The tears began to run down her cheek. She collapsed on the ground crying. "Wah! Eevee!" Bidoof said, running to the beach after looking for her. "You've been gone for so long I started to worry!" No response. "Wh... What's the matter!?" Eevee stood up. "B-Bidoof! Bidoof! Waaaah!" She collapsed again at Bidoof's feet. "Wa-Wah?! What all is the matter!?" He panicked. "He's... gone..." _________________________________________________ Diagla stood at Temporal Tower. "EEVEE. WHEN YOU LEFT HERE. WHEN YOU BID FAREWELL TO THIS PLACE ON THE RAINBOW STONESHIP. YOUR SORROW, I FELT ITS INTENSITY EVEN HERE. IF THAT IS HOW YOU FEEL EVEN NOW, AND IF PIKACHU WERE TO SHARE THOSE FEELINGS. I WILL GRANT YOU YOUR WISH. THE WORLD NEEDS YOU BOTH. THAT IS WHY... I WILL TRUST YOU WITH A GIFT. I LEAVE TO YOU... THE FUTURE!" Dialga stood at the edge of the tower. "THIS IS MY THANKS. PLEASE ACCEPT IT!" ______________________________________________________ A light appeared in front of Bidoof. He nudged Eevee to look behind her. Eevee looked behind at the lights. It was Pikachu... Eevee cried once more, but this time, they were tears of joy.
The "Simple" TaskPikachu looked in surprise when the Princess brought this up. "What do I have to do?" "Well, since you destroyed my letter from Twilight, I want you to go receive a new one." Said Celestia. "But won't ponies see me as a threat? I saw you as a murderous Rapidash." Said Pikachu while slurping his tea. "Hmm... That will be a problem..." Responded Celestia in thought. "I know! Luna, do you still have that pouch?" "Yeah, why?" Said Luna in confusion. "We can put some sort of identification that he's good." Said Celestia. "But people will still run from the sight of him." Argued Luna with a problem solving look on her face. "That will be his problem. Remember, the Elements are there. If he can get to Fluttershy then he can get to the rest of the town. "I'm sorry, sis. I don't know the Elements as well as you do. I'll just leave this plan to you." Said Luna as she walked out the door, leaving her tea lying cold on the table. "Well, here. Take this letter. Find Fluttershy and befriend her. She will be able to let you see Twilight Sparkle and you can get that letter back! Okay? I need that letter! Understood? Then get on with it!" Said the Princess cheerfully. "Okay..." Sighed Pikachu, who had just finished his tea. Celestia walked Pikachu outside of the castle and handed him her map. The map had each city, town, forest, farm, anything you could THINK of in Equestria. The princess levitated a quill and a container of ink. She started to draw a line from a place called Canterlot to a place called Everfree Forest, and then a small little hut. "I want you to follow this path from here," Celestia pointed to Canterlot, showing that was there current location. "here," Celestia moved the quill to point at the Everfree Forest. "and here, where you'll find a friendly yellow Pony with a pink mane. She'll likely be tending to small woodland creatures like a bunny, or a bird." Celestia pointed to the small shack. "Don't let me down!" Shouted Celestia as Pikachu walked out the gates of Canterlot. "Okay." Nodded Pikachu, still trying to figure out what she meant by a bunny and bird. Could she have meant Buneary? No wait, Pokemon don't exist in this dimension... Everything is just so confusing. "Why am I here? I would rather be gone than to live a life without Eevee. Knowing that she's miserable without me... Well, she has the guild... but... I wish there was at least some way to tell her I was OK..." Pikachu said, talking to himself. After a few moments of staring at the map and the dirt path, Pikachu found to be standing in front of a forest which named on the map "The Everfree." The path faded a bit, and every step he took his stomach ached. He's been on plenty of creepy adventures, but something was off about this place. More than usual. He looked around to make sure of his surroundings. He saw nothing of great significance. Trees, trees, and more trees. He had gotten lost. Pikachu looked up in the sky. The time hadn't changed. He has been wandering for hours on end and nothing has happened. The only noises that were made were the ones of his own footsteps. "I guess I should set up camp..." Pikachu said to himself, worrying about the awkward quietness. Something wasn't right. Pikachu gathered a few large leaves and placed them in the center of a small clearing. Looking back up at the sky, he noticed it still hadn't changed. Time has stopped here. But why? This place has no Time Gears. It must have something else... But no time to think of that now. Pikachu's eyelids were starting to close. He lay there on his back, thinking about what would happen when he left the forest. Is time still flowing out there? What if it suddenly stopped. Maybe it had something to do with him. It would only make sense. He did just come from a place with time problems of its own. "I need some sleep... Thinking won't help..." Whispered Pikachu to himself. He soon drifted into a deep sleep... Thump thump thump... Pikachu awoke from his slumber to find that a yellow and pink creature had taken him out of the forest and placed him on its back. She matched the description of Fluttershy. He shifted his eyes to the sky. It was daytime. Did he just imagine the time not changing? Maybe it was the clouds... Who knew? "Why hello, little guy! Glad to see you're awake! What's your name?" Asked Fluttershy, not expecting an answer. "Um... I'm Pikachu," Said Pikachu, still trying to fully wake up. "I'm looking for Twilight Sparkle." Fluttershy stopped and moved her head to where she could slightly see Pikachu on her back. "Did you just...?" Fluttershy was astonished. Did that yellow thing just talk!? "Did I what? What did I do?" Just that moment Fluttershy ran into her hut, forcing Pikachu to fall off her back. "Well that's just grand. I guess creatures don't take too kindly to things they don't know talking." Pikachu kicked the ground in anger. Nothing is going right. He may as well give up... "Fluttershy? Fluttershy dear! I've got those carrots you wanted. Fluttershy?" Pikachu jolted his head towards the sound of the voice. A white pony. Pikachu switched his attention to a small nearby bush. If Fluttershy was startled, then this one will most likely be too. Pikachu jumped into the bush to hide from the white mare, only to find himself trapped caught up in it's thorny branches. He thought of crying for help, but that would cause quite a bit of problems. Pikachu held is head low, closed his eyes and swallowed his screams before they left his mouth for if he made a small noise he would have been spotted. "Fluttershy? Hello? Are you in there?" Said the white mare knocking at Fluttershy's door. "Rarity... Did you see it?" Whispered Fluttershy. "See what, dear? What am I looking at?" Responded Rarity in confusion. "That... thing... where is it?" Fluttershy was sounding more and more worried. "Oh, Fluttershy, you were probably just imagining things again. Remember when Angel's shadow looked like a dragon last bonfire we had? You did the same thing. Huddled in your house." Rarity started to laugh, trying to sooth Fluttershy of her fear. "I still think there was a dragon" Fluttershy joked, gesturing her friend that she was OK. "Well, come on out, Fluttershy, I'll help you feed your bunnies the carrots!" Offered Rarity. "Well, okay." Responded Fluttershy who looked back and forth out of the doorway to make sure the yellow rat wasn't there. She knew he was there, just not in sight. Oh man... Thought Pikachu. These thorns hurt so much... I need to call for help! But they're on the other side of the house... What do I do? Pikachu was in pain, and the thorns were starting to penetrate his skin, causing him to bleed a little bit I can't escape... What do I do? Maybe they won't hurt me if I casually ask for a carrot... Yeah! That's what I'll do! Pikachu waited until they walked near the door of the hut again "Well, Fluttershy, here are the remaining carrots. I must be off, I have an important outfit I'm working on for Rainbow Dash! It's her birthday coming up, so don't forget to get her a gift!" "I won't! Good lu-" Fluttershy was interrupted by a slightly familiar voice. "Carrots!" Blurted Pikachu. No! I messed it up! "Carrots? Um, yes. I just gave you the carrots." Rarity said. "I didn't say that... He did" Said Fluttershy who was slowly backing up into her house. "Who did, dear? Speak up!" Rarity looked around trying to see who else was accompanying them. Fluttershy pointed her hoof to a bush with a yellow rat in the center. "What is... that?" Asked Rarity. "The monster from before!" Squealed Fluttershy, who quickly slammed her door in Rarity's face. "Monster? I'll be the judge of that!" Announced Rarity who triumphantly marched towards the bush. "Hello, little cutie! What's your name?" Asked Rarity. "I'm Pikachu?" Hesitated Pikachu. What was Rarity going to do? "Well I'm Rarity!" She said as she untangled him from the bushes. "Okay...?" Responded Pikachu, confused on why she was untangling him. "There we go! All untangled! Now, why would Fluttershy be afraid of you? She loves creatures from the Everfree!" Rarity was examining Pikachu's strange rat like appearance. "I talked... and she ran..." Pikachu was catching his breath from being levitated out of the bush. "Well, lot's of animals talk... like parrots?" Responded Rarity, trying to think up talking animals. "I don't know what that is..." Said Pikachu, titling his head in confusion. "You don't know what a parrot is? Are you even from Equestria?" Rarity was know in shock to be seeing one who might not even be from her country. Not for the normal reasons, though. She wanted to know if he was famous, maybe he was rich! Oh the clothes she could make! The money she would receive! "Uh... no...?" Pikachu's head was still tilted. Not because of the new creatures he was learning about, but because of how quick this pony came to somewhat trust him. "Well, I need to take you to the library! My friend owns it, so we have easy access to all books! I can teach you so many things!" Rarity wore a large smile and handed him her hoof. "Hop on!" Pikachu grabbed hold of her hoof and she flung him to her saddle bag which used to hold the carrots and was now empty. "You're going to just LOVE Equestria!"
Supid Yellow Rat."You've been hiding these books from us all this time, Twilight?" Asked Rarity. "Wait... You mean you didn't know? Aren't you with Pikachu here?" Twilight's eyes widened. "What? We were just giving him a tour around Ponyville! We didn't know him beforehand!" Exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "Then I have no choice! I'm sorry, but until I find a solution..." The doors began to close as she spoke. "I'm going to have to lock us in. I'm sor--" She froze, with a blank stare, not moving even the slightest, as if she isn't even breathing... "Hello? Twilight?" Asked Pikachu. "Hey guys... Whats wrong with her?" He said as Twilight's colors began to dim. "I don't know! Why, even the ground around her is starting to gray!" Exclaimed Rarity. That's when it clicked. He remembered the gray, it was freezing time. Pikachu dashed to the door which was stopped at half closed. "Let's go!" He shouted, climbing under it. The two ponies shrugged and followed out the door. When they reached the outside, half of Ponyville was already gray, and the growth of it was accelerating at an alarming rate. "What was that!?" Rarity shouted towards Pikachu. "The colorlessness consuming the town! What was that!?" "Time is stopping! What object do you use to keep time in order!?" Pikachu asked. "According to the history books, Discord did it before Celestia and Luna took over, so I would assume it would be them!" Responded Rarity. They finally reached a safe distance and stopped to breath. "What's going on!?" Asked Pinkie. "Time is stopping, your object that holds time has been removed from its spot. Each realm should have an object and a Governor of time." Pikachu responded. "Wait, what do you mean "other realms?"" Asked Rarity. "I'll tell you later, the gray is expanding faster! Run!" ____________________________________________________________________ "What's that behind you, sis?" Asked Luna. "What's what?" Responded Celestia, looking behind her. "Uh oh." "What? What's wrong!?" Half-worried Luna. "Evacuate the city. This could be a problem." Celestia demanded with an irritating stare. "But sis, I jus--" "I said evacuate the city!" She shouted. "Send the remaining citizens to Manehatten, and you and the guards meet me at Unicorn Range." She added. "We've got a stupid yellow rat to catch."
