Prologe: The Missing Brother...

Shining Armor take another look on the Map. He have a lot of Trouble, to hold the Map in his Magical grip. The Snow and the Stormy Weather up here was not helpfull. A Pegasus Guard steps besides him, holding his Hoof protectively befor his Eyes. "Captain, are you sure we are in the right Region?" Shining Armor narrowed his Eyes, but see´s nothing more than the Snowstorm befor him. "Honestly, No! But it could not be far anymore, Private Blackjack!....Ah, Horseapples! I see nothing! Blackjack, tell the other we looking for a shelter now!"

The white Pegasus nodded and turn his Head around to the other nine Royal Guards.  "We looking for a Shelter now. Get our Things ready!" Every Guard nodded and wrap their Saddlebags. Each Guard wears a thick Winterjacket over their Armor. Same was by Shinning Armor, the Captain of the Royal Guard. They need this, then it was Ice cold in this Celestia forsaken Mountains!

But this was a Mission from Princess Celestia herself! A very importmant Recon Mission in this forsaken Mountains on the Southern Equestrian Border. Some Adventurers have told, they saw something up there. But Nopony could believe these stories. Until a certain Photo reaches the Sun Princess! And now, Shining Armor and ten of his Best Guards where here!

“CAPTAIN! I FOUND A CAVE!!!” Yelled a Guard against the Snowstorm. Finaly some Good News, was Shining Armor´s first thought. “Ok Everypony, get inside. Quick!” As a good Captain, Shinning Armor enters first and lit up his Horn. Well, at least it was not Cold here. Surprised about this, a Guard take a look around. “Why is it so warm here? Oh, thats why! Captain!” Shining trottet over to the Guard and saw the Reason for the Heat here. “Hot thermal springs, interresting! Well, at least we are not frezing here. Come on everypony, drop your things around the Springs. Normal Guarding of the Camp!” He take off his Winterjacket, exposing his Purple Armor. Next he do´s was sitting down on his haunches and looking on the Map again.

But Honestly, the Map was more or less useless. This region has not been mapped! Only a big, white spot on the Map! Even the best Cartographer where not ably to make a Accurate Map of this Region! Shining let out a small sigh. “Well, it is never that easy!” Suddenly, his Ears twitching. He have heard something. Something that sounds like....Armored Hooves on Stone! Quickly, he take a look to his Team. They all where sitting around the Springs, except the Two who guarding the Cave entrance! There was Somepony else in this Cave to!

His Gaze wandering around, befor he spots something! Or better, the Shadow of Somepony! “HEY, YOU!” The other Royal Guards looking up from their Meal, only to see the Captain chasing the Shadow of Somepony else! Quickly, they get up and running after their Captain.

This Pony before him was fast! But even in this Darkness, Shining could see enough off this Pony! It was Deffinatly a Unicorn, wearing a unfamiliar Armor! The Unicorn must be a Mare, she was significant smaller than a Stallion! Suddenly, the Horn of the strange Unicorn lit up. For a couple of Seconds, Shining could see, that the Armor was in a light Blue. Then the Unicorn teleportet away! Shining Armor slows down, and looking around. Then, a terrible Realization hits him! He had paid no Attention, where he was running and he was now lost in this Cave. “Aaah, Buck it!”

Carefully, Shining tried to find a Way out, but something about this Cave starting to Creep him out! He got the Feeling, that he was being watched and that every Second more Eyes looking at him. He Gulped, befor he speaks. “I´m Captain Shining Armor! Captain of the Royal Guard of her Majesty, Princess Celestia of Equestria! I am no threat to you!” Silence....he don´t like it.  Slowly, he walks forwards. Suddenly, somepony was yelling! “WATCH OUT!”

But is was to late! He suddenly had no ground under his Hooves and fell into the deep! Then he hit a large Boulder, then another one. After a hole eternity, he hits the Ground, letting out a painfull groan. His Legs were shaking, as he tries to stand up. He felt something warm, fluid on his right side of his face. Then he saw Light on the end of a Tunnel. “No....i can´t be Dead!” He starts walking, but every movement hurts him.

Torchlight? Live here somepony or so? Sudden, his Vision darked for a second and he saw everything twice! Was he realy that bad injured. The Answer came direct to him, as he collapsed on the Ground. His Strenght have leave him. He heard the approaching hoofsteps poorly. A pair of Armored Hooves stops direct in Front of him. He tried to look up, seeing worried Eyes looking down at him, befor he blacked out. “Cadence.....Twily......”

A few Days Later

Twillight Sparkle could just feel, that something was wrong, as she and her other Friends entering the Thronroom of Princess Celestia. “Princess, we came as fast we could!”

Princess Celestia turns around and steps towards the Six Friends. “Twillight, good that you are here so fast.” Speaks the Regal, white Alicorn now. Her Horn glows and she puts a Pillow under a puzzling Twillight. “Maybe you better sit down, my Faithfull Student.”

“Uh...okay...” Twillight did, what her Mentor said, even if she has no idea, why she should sit down. Then, Celestia sighed, before telling Twillight, whats going on. “Twillight, i´m afraid, that i must tell you, that your Brother is missing.” Immiediatly, Twillights Eyes widen and she would propably fall over, if she would not sit already! “WHAT? HOW? WHERE?” Celestia was forced to put her Hoof on Twillights Mouth, so that she can speak. “Twillight, calm down please. I tell you, where he was, as it happend. He was on a very importmant reconnaissance Mission in the Mountains, on our Southern Border.” Twillight get Celestia´s Hoof from her Mouth. “But why? There is nothing!”

Again, the Sun Goddess let out a Sigh. “Obviously, we all where wrong about this!” She pulls out a Photo. “This was shot a Month ago.” Twillight looks, like her Friends on the Photo. A Pony, flanked by two Guards, was to see. “Strange, i never saw this Typ of Armor before and...” Suddenly, Twillight was disruptet by Rainbow Dash, who pointet on the Pony between the Guards. “Wait! Did you see, that this Pony have a Horn and Wings???” Now all take a closer look. It was true, the Pony in the Middle was Truly a Alicorn, wearing a Tiara, a Regalie and Hoofshoes. Her Mane was short and looking like a Mess, so says at least Rarity direct. Her Coat was Dark blue. The Colours of her Mane and Tail was Red and Blue. She looks like she was a little bit taller as Celestia. Hard to say, if you only have a Photo!

Celestia looks now a bit Guilty. “I have send your Brother down there, so that he can find out, if there is really a fourth Alicorn. And if she is Peacefull or a Threat! This Morning came his Team back without him, telling me he is Missing.” By this, Twillight get up and was Furious! “WHAT???? THEY LEFT MY BROTHER BEHIND???” Her Coat rapidly changed his Color from Lavender to White and her Tail and Mane where now made out of Fire! Afraid, her Friends backin away from the Furious Unicorn. “TWILLIGHT SPARKLE!” Shouted Celestia. It works and Twillight looked afraid up. Immiediatly, her Body changed back.

With a stern look, Celestia stared down at Twillight. “They have looking for him. But they could not find him. So don´t blam them, that they left him behind!” Twillight sunk back on the Pillow, sobbing now. “I´m sorry....but....we speaking here about my Brother!”

“And my Husband!” Twillight, her Friends and Celestia looking to the door. Nopony else as Cadence was standing there. “Aunt, why have you not call for me to? If i not just walk outside the Thronroom and heard Twillights Outbreak, i would not knowing, that Shiny is Missing!” Once again, Celestia let out a Sigh. “Cadence, i wanted to tell you this Evening.” Cadence walking towards Twillight and nuzzled her.

Than her Gaze turns to Celestia. “What do you think to do now, Aunt? We can´t let Shiny in this Mountains!” Celestia take a deep Breath. “Thats why i has send for Twillight and her Friends. I want them to find Shining Armor!”

The Six Friends looking at the Sun Princess first surprised, but then speaks Applejack. “Well, I am going. Like Twy said, we talking about her Brother!”

“We all going.” Following now all the others, even Fluttershy.

Twillight felt Tears comming to her Eyes. “Girls....you are the Best Friends i could ever have! Thank you...” Then, a Hoof touching Twillight on her Shoulder. It was Cadence. “I comming with you to, Twillight.”

Of course, Celestia was not ok with this. “No Cadence, i forbid it!” The younger Alicorn glaring at the Sun Princess. “Why?”

“Simply wile you could get in Danger! Twillight and her friends have a lot of experience with dangerous situation. You not!” Cadance wanted to complain, Celestia give her not  Chance. “This is my Final Word Cadance......please understand me.” Cadance glared at her Aunt, but then turned away. “Fine, then i do it, Your Highness!”

They all watching the smaller, pink Alicorn leaving the Thronroom and Celestia let out a small sigh. “Someday she will understand, that it was for her own best...”
