Darkness

It all happened so oddly, looking back now, I can remember the clues looking up to this, I really should have seen this coming, of all the people that I have had to die next to, I'm glad it's her, I'm glad it's Rarity, but as for the purple mare standing over us with the wicked grin, her horn glowing, ready to deliver the final blow, I realize that I was to blind to see it, to see the message that the clues gave me. "S-Spike, I, I love you." Rarity said, weakly crawling over to me, giving me a kiss.

"I love you to Rarity, I'm sorry it had to end like this." I replied, a tear forming in my eye, I had a smile on my face as the tear fell.

"Hm-m-m-m-m, isn't that sweet." The purple mare lowered her horn and touched the ground in between them. Me and Rarity started to slowly close our eyes, suddenly feeling drowsy, when a voice made our eyes open again.

"Twilight, those are supposed to be your friends, yet you kill them without second thought, why would you do that. Does it not bother you at all?" The voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it. So familiar, and so welcoming, who had that voice? Either way, I still had no clue if this was it, if this was the end, the final battle, the final rest for my soul's temple, all because of what happened that time so long ago...

Okay, A horrible idea popped into my head, make Twilight Sparkle the most meanest, horrible, and cruel enemy imaginable, and this happened. Constructive critisism is approved and very much wanted.
