Celestia winced, recoiling from the needle that had poked her only to accidentally make a half dozen more of the prickly things jab her in other points due to her unexpected movement. “You know you really don't have to do this.” Celestia exclaimed through gritted teeth.

“Oh pish posh darling.” Rarity replied dismissively as she levitated another needle into place. “It's no trouble at all, besides, you can't very well go without clothes now can you?”

Celestia chuckled, only to wince again. “I mean ponies are usually naked so I feel like I could get away with it for a month or two.”

“Even that ball you were going to go to at the end of the month?” Rarity countered, raising an eyebrow.

The alicorn frowned, and grumbled silently to herself. “I suppose you do have a point there.” She admitted bitterly.

“Tut tut darling. If you frown that hard your face is going to stay like that.” Rarity remarked as she tugged the fabric into place around Celestia’s bulging midsection.

Something that seemed easy at first glance, but was actually quite difficult given the fact that it had been a few days since her and Twilight had their fun. Meaning that she had grown even larger in that time, making her already enormous proportions that much bigger. It wasn't a huge change, admittedly, but it was easily noticeable to the detail oriented fashion designer, and the mare who was going through said changes.

Her breasts were that much larger, each one easily larger than the alicorn’s entire head, her hips had somehow grown wide enough that most doors gave her trouble and she had a belly that could contain a full grown pony such as Rarity. Despite it all though, Celestia kept her head held high, and her posture perfect, not because she remained proud or wanted to appear dignified but rather if she didn't she would get poked again. After some more tugging, and a few more pokes and prods, and Rarity stopped and took a step back, chewing on her hoof.

“Yes, I can work with this.” Rarity muttered to herself.

“You know you really don't have to do this Rarity.” Celestia began. “It's late in the day, and I have no doubt that you have other things you would rather do then fuss over me.”

The fashionista scoffed. “Like I said darling, it's no trouble at all. In fact I am finding myself more intrigued by your situation every time I come for another adjustment session.”

“Really now?” Celestia questioned, eyeing the other pony closely as she tugged here, or adjusted something there.

Rarity nodded. “Oh yes. Your giving me a great many ideas for a new line focused around maternity dresses.” The unicorn scowled unexpectedly. “The options mares have nowadays are atrocious and about as fashionable as our mutual Rainbow maned friend.”

“She does have a rather unique sense of style.” Celestia murmured, recalling the last piece of ratty, moth bitten clothing the pony in question had worn.

“Yes well, I will change at least one of those things.” Rarity vowed. “And if all goes well, I will be able to offer mares of all sizes a chance to save a few bits.”

“How are you going to do that?” Celestia pressed, her back legs twitching as she barely contained the urge to move them into a more comfortable position.

Rarity grumbled and held the pregnant mare’s back legs tight in the grip of her magic. “Would you stand still already? This would be over if you could just restrain yourself.”

Celestia frowned. “I’m sorry Rarity but the little ones are excited for some reason, and I can't stop twitching.”

The unicorn sighed slowly and released her hold on the mare’s legs. “It's fine. I’m sorry for being cross with you. To answer your question I hope to create a series of dresses that can be easily modified as a mother’s body… changes.”

“That would make things easier rather than you coming every week and adjusting all my clothes by hoof.” Celestia pointed out, only to notice Rarity moving around in the corner of her vision. “What are you doing?”

“Oh nothing darling, just finding something to help with your twitching problem.” Rarity replied. “Aha, I knew it was around here somewhere.”

Celestia couldn't turn her head enough to tell what was going on, but quickly found her hooves locked in place. Shifting her hooves slightly revealed that there was a bar locked between them, a realization that made Celestia’s cheeks grow hot. “D-did you just strap me into a spreader bar?” Asked the alicorn.

“And have now secured your forehooves with a pair of fuzzy hoofcuffs.” Rarity answered, a soft clink telling Celestia that was indeed what happened.

Looking down, the alicorn noticed that her forehooves were similarly bound, this time by a pair of pink cuffs that Pinkie Pie had left in her room at some point. “I- you… How did you know they were in here?” Celestia muttered in shock.

Rarity shrugged and walked around to the side of the pregnant mare, still gazing inquisitively at Celestia. “Pinkie Pie’s fetish for bondage is well known. I figured it was only a matter of time before she left some party favors here.”

Celestia stuttered for a moment before slamming her mouth shut. “Well, that certainly is one way to make sure I don't ruin anything.”

The unicorn snickered. “Indeed it is, and you best hope that I don't need to break out the rope, otherwise we may be here for much, much longer.”

Celestia eyed the other pony in a strange new light, her curiosity getting the better of her. “You aren't, interested are you?”

Rarity shook her head as she wrapped a tape measure across Celestia’s enormous ass. “No, I’m afraid my interest begins and ends with helping while also teasing you.”

“That is what I assumed, pardon me for the bluntness of the question but we never really spoke candidly like this before.” Celestia exclaimed, her blush growing hotter as Rarity measured the size of one of her breasts before writing down what she found.

“True.” Rarity replied while scratching down a few additional measurements on a floating clipboard, namely the size of her other breast and the width of Celestia’s hips. “Suffice it to say that I enjoy making beautiful mares blush.”

Celestia chuckled, the mare more than a little turned on by the feeling of having her body occasionally squeezed and carressed. “Well you certainly are an expert at that.”

“I’m glad we are on the same page.” Rarity remarked as her measuring tape unraveled from Celestia’s barrel and coiled itself back into a tight ball. “Almost done darling, not much longer. Just remember, if all things go well this may be the last fitting session we do like this.”

“That's unfortunate, I rather enjoy our banter.” Celestia announced with a smile which nearly vanished as she felt Rarity’s hoof grab her butt. “It is rare that I am able to prod and be prodded back. Most ponies are too scared to do anything in return.”

Rarity grinned slyly as she extended pulled taut the fabric over Celestia’s flank, the sheer amount of the stuff being easily able to create an entire dress for Rarity. “I believe that most of those ponies simply see you as an ideal, rather than as the person you are.”

Celestia sighed, while making sure not to let her head droop too much. “That is unfortunately true. Even Twilight has trouble unpacking those differences sometimes. She comes so close, only to snap back into princess mode.”

“That's our dear Twilight for you though.” Rarity muttered, her gaze narrowing on a seemingly random seam and pulling it tight, making the pregnant mare’s puffy pink pussy painfully visible. “Give her time and she will likely get over this. Though I fear she may need a kick in the pants in order to do so.”

“Hopefully it doesn't come to that.” Celestia whispered, more to herself then Rarity, though she was certain the other pony had heard her. “I am curious about something however. If you will indulge me a moment.”

“Of course, go right ahead darling.” Rarity replied, waving a hoof dismissively at the pony, her gaze still fixed on the alicorn’s side.

“Why exactly are you doing all this anyway?” Celestia inquired. “I understand why Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Twilight are trying to help me, but not you.”

“Do you really though? You know what, nevermind.” Rarity shook her head. “Regardless of the circumstances, you are carrying my foal, and though their conception may have been during a rather turbulent time, I find myself honorbound to assist the mother of my child in any way I can.” The unicorn grinned suddenly as she rearranged a dozen needles and shifted around another crease, with Rarity idly noting that she could fit her entire head between Celestia’s tits if she wanted to. “It is only natural after all.”

Celestia pursed her lips, conflicted on calling the fashionista out for that small slip at the start of her speil. The alicorn reluctantly brushed that off for now though, focusing on the rest of what her self appointed personal seamstress had said. “You know you don't have to have anything to do with the foal.” Celestia began, hesitantly. “We could just as easily say that it was Twilight’s or Pinkie’s and leave you out entirely.”

Rarity grimaced, and shot the alicorn a look. “I may have not been entirely thrilled about this whole thing but if you think for a second I will turn my back on you, or our foal then you are dead wrong missy.”

The alicorn nodded slowly. “Please don't take it the wrong way, I just didn't want to feel like I was locking you into anything.”

The fashionista tsked again. “It is quite alright darling. I know your heart was in the right place.”

“Thank you Rarity.”

The next few minutes passed in silence, with Rarity occasionally scratching down an idea, taking measurements, adding or subtracting swatches of cloth, and generally working in silence. The unicorn adjusting a few things as Celestia’s enormous breasts slowly but visibly filled with milk, growing larger and making the fabric become increasingly tight. During this time Celestia tried to do her best to ignore the fact that she was standing around wearing fetish gear, while also studying the unicorn closely. Rarity was a bit of an enigma to the alicorn, as she was both surprisingly honest, and upfront, while at the same time being a complex, and multifaceted pony. One that it would take a while for Celestia to truly understand like how she thought she understood Twilight.

“So, how is business?” Celestia asked out of the blue.

“Alright.” Rarity replied slowly. “It is rather quiet, even with the second location. Not busy, but not dead by any stretch of the imagination. Bits are flowing, and things are running smoothly, nothing to really complain about I’m afraid.”

Celestia chuckled. “I would enjoy this time while you can. I have no doubt you will find your hooves full once ponies realize they find out you have a royal foal.”

The alicorn had her comment instantly rewarded with a sharp needle to the side, making her cry out in pain, only to be held in place by the fetish gear binding both sets of hooves. Rarity was quick to help her, catching the pregnant mare before she could fall and quickly setting her back on her hooves. “I’m so sorry darling, I don't know what came over me there.” Rarity hastily apologized, already tearing off the cloth around Celestia’s side.

Wincing, Celestia waited until after the fashionista had used her magic to heal the small hole in her side, and clean up the single drop of blood before speaking. “That's my own fault, I should have waited until after you didn't have a needle in your hoof.” Celestia replied.

“Still…” Rarity frowned and gently wiped a spare swatch of cloth over the spot where she had accidentally prodded the alicorn. “Where are my manners, give me a moment to get you out of these things.”

Before Celestia even had a chance to offer a word in edgewise the spreader bar, and hoofcuffs were gone, and a few seconds later all of the cloth covering her was also removed. “That's quite alright Rarity. I don't mind standing for a little longer.” Celestia urged.

“It's fine. I have all of your measurements anyway and I can do the rest of the work at home.” Rarity replied, the pony already summoning forth a plethora of pillows from nearby and piling them high next to the alicorn. “Please, rest.”

Celestia nodded and rested on the offered pillows, taking great care to do so at a slow pace, given her sheer size. “Thank you Rarity. Though I’m curious as to what happened back there. I didn't think that part bothered you as much as it did.”

“It does… and doesn't.” Rarity replied hesitantly, a hoof rubbing her leg awkwardly. “It's complicated.”

“Well, lets work it out then.” Celestia announced calmly, patting the spot before her.

Rarity smiled faintly, and laid down on the pillows splayed before the pregnant mare, her head resting on the alicorn’s belly. The warmth emanating from the solar princess was pleasant, and strangely calming, and the unicorn quickly felt her worries and fears melt away. A hoof gently rubbed slow circles on the mare’s belly, Rarity idly noting that even the pregnant mare’s navel had grown slightly. That wasn't all she noted though, as the warmth and movements within were both striking to the unicorn, though a small frown remained on Rarity’s lips even as she felt her body relax.

“Now then, what is bothering you my friend?” Celestia whispered, watching closely as the younger pony struggled to form a sentence.

“I just, it's…” Rarity sighed, and placed both forehooves on Celestia’s pregnant belly, smiling faintly when she felt a hoof brush against her own. “I like that our foal will be royalty, but I don't like that I like that.” The pony’s scowl deepened. “I shouldn't be thinking of them as a meal ticket, or a way to gain fame, but as the individual that they are yet I can't stop thinking about it.”

“I’m sure that's not all your thinking about.” Celestia pointed out.

“I guess.” Rarity conceded. “But it is a big part, and that bothers me. I can't help but consider how business will likely pick up if for no other reason then my name will be in the papers. After that I’ll get a flood of so-called friends coming into my shops trying to curry royal favors with honeyed words and offers of gifts.”

The unicorn continued to rub the other mare’s belly in slow circles, her gaze distant, and her mind clearly elsewhere. Celestia sighed, and gently maneuvered a few stray strands of mane from the fashionista's face. “Those are big concerns, you know. It's not a sign of a bad parent for considering them. In fact I would say you’ve earned yourself some big brownie points for doing just that.”

Rarity chuckled bitterly. “If only those points could be redeemed for literal brownies. I would kill for some chocolate right about now.”

Celestia smirked. “Don't be so hasty, that can be arranged you know.”

When Rarity looked up, and away form Celestia’s big, warm belly she was greeted with the sight of a large plate of chocolate frosted brownies with chocolate sprinkles. “Where did you get these?” Rarity inquired.

“I have my stashes.” Celestia replied with a conspiratorial wink.

“May I?”

“Absolutely.”

Rarity took hold of one of the smaller brownies and daintily took a bite, only for a blissful expression to cross her face. “Thish ish sho goob.” She gushed.

Celestia chuckled, as she took one for herself. “They were made fresh this afternoon from Sugar Cube Corner and delivered only a few hours ago. It's amazing what kind of service a royal tab can get you.”

Rarity chuckled and shook her head while swallowing the last of the brownie. “Well I appreciate you sharing with me. Though my waistline will probably hate you in the morning.”

“Then you may as well enjoy yourself and have one, or maybe three more.” Celestia tempted, waving the plate in front of the fashionista.

Who grumbled, and tried to look away, only to find her eyes glued to the plate, and its delicious contents. “Fine, but I’m sending you the bill for my gym membership.”

“Done.” Celestia declared, grinining excitedly as Rarity grabbed another and began to chomp down on her second brownie.

Together the pair indulged their chocolate cravings until the plate was completely empty. Only after Rarity’s belly was full of deliciousness and there was none left, did they stop, and lay back down. One pony rested her head on a small mound of pillows while the other curled up around the first pony’s enormous belly.

“Thank you, Celestia.” Rarity whispered, a hoof rubbing the alicorn’s stomach. “That was nice.”

“Your quite welcome dear.” Celestia replied.

Rarity sighed. “I suppose you were right earlier, but it's just… odd. This entire situation came so fast, and though I don't blame anyone for what happend, or regret that it happened at all. Its still a lot to process, and I guess I’m having trouble dealing with the fallout of it all.”

“Parenthood only seems complicated on the outside, trust me. I’ve had enough kids to know.” Celestia whispered faintly, her gaze distant.

“I know this is a rather personal question, but how do you deal with… well…” Rarity looked down and twiddled her hooves, unable to muster the will to speak the rest of her sentence.

“Death is not the end, nor is it as bad as you mortals make it out to be.” Celestia began, her voice barely above a whisper. “Living longer then both my lovers, and my children mean that I can be there for every part of their lives.” She smiled. “Plus they never have to worry about losing at least one of their parents, and that's something that more than makes up for living longer than them.”

“I never thought of it like that, but it would be nice to know that my mother would always be there for me, even when I’m old and gray.” Rarity muttered. “I suppose it's still not something you do often though. Become a parent that is.”

Celestia shook her head. “No. It isn't as hard as some think it is, but it certainly isn't easy. Once every century or so I have a kid or two, but lately I’ve been so busy preparing for Luna’s return that I’ve not continued that little tradition of mine.”

“Until now.” Rarity corrected.

“Yes, until now.” Celestia conceded.

“Maybe this was the best for all of us.” Rarity offered suddenly. “I admit I’m rather excited to have a foal of my own considering it wasn't something I ever thought would be possible. For reasons which should be fairly obvious by now.”

Celestia nodded. “And I get to make up for lost time by having nearly a whole baseball team’s worth of foals.”

Rarity chuckled. “Very true.”

The two sat in a comfortable silence before Celestia nervously broke that quiet with a question. “I know we never spoke too much on the subject, but how much do you want to be well… there?”

“As much as I can be.” Rarity declared. “I don't want to pawn them off on you and only show up for the occasional weekend. A child needs at least two parents, even if they are two ‘moms’.”

Celestia chuckled at the little air quotes her friend had added around the word moms. “Too true, though I think we may have difficulty with which one of us will be the stern parent, as I’ve always sucked at that part.”

“I never thought about that.” Rarity pursed her lips and tapped her chin. “I think we’ll just have to send them to Twilight when we need someone to deliver the hard truths because I melt the second I see those big eyes of theirs.”

“Good thinking. Though we may have to rethink that plan as I’m fairly certain Fluttershy is already planning on doing that as well.” Celestia cautioned.

“Hmmm. That does make things complicated doesn't it.” Rarity replied, doing her best to look serious. “Maybe auntie Luna could lend a hoof in that regard then.”

Celestia nodded. “Ooh I didn't think of that. She was always more interested in being an aunt than having foals of her own. You would not believe how excited she was after she heard about all this.”

“Really?” Rarity asked, clearly shocked.

“Oh yes.” Celestia replied confidently. “Luna loves family, but isn't the type to get tied down very often. Sure there was the occasional time when she would settle down and marry for a while, but usually she would just go from one relationship to another without ever truly committing.”

“Maybe now that she's back and things are calmer that might change.” Rarity offered.

“I hope so. Then she can stop abducting my daughters and taking them on wild adventures.” Celestia muttered with a frown.

“Wait. We won't have to worry about that, will we?” Rarity asked nervously, looking up at the alicorn.

Celestia nodded. “We will, I’m afraid. Hopefully one of Pinkie’s foals turns out to be an adventurer or something so Luna can have a willing foal to abduct.”

Rarity’s eyes narrowed suddenly and she pulled back slightly, looking the alicorn in the eye. “Are you pulling my leg?”

Celestia giggled. “Not even a little. That's just how Luna is.”

Rarity’s head thumped against Celestia’s side, and the unicorn received a thump in return from a tiny hoof. “Well that sure makes thigns interesting. I never considered that to be a possibility before. Also, wow you werent kidding, they are quite active aren't they?”

Celestia smiled. “I told you so. I guess they are just happy to see you.”

Rarity smiled as well, her hoof lightly touching the small bulge in Celestia’s stomach. “I guess so…” She mused.

“But in all seriousness, I wouldn't get too wound up over my sister’s antics. Luna is actually a wonderful aunt.” Celestia cautioned, the alicorn placing a hoof on Rarity’s shoulder. “And also an amazing babysitter.”

“Well at least we can count on that.” Rarity murmured, a wide smile spreading across her face. “You know, this is rather pleasant. Thank you darling. I believe my worries have been put to rest as it were.”

Celestia yawned suddenly. “I’m glad I could help, but I think it's getting rather close to my bedtime.”

“And here I would think you didn't need anymore beauty sleep.” Rarity commented with a smirk, poking the mare in the side before standing up.

“Oh you charmer you.” Celestia muttered, a blush spreading across her face.

Though it took her significantly longer to stand up, Celestia made it, and without her hips complaining either no less. When she did, the alicorn leaned forward and planted a small kiss on the fashionista's cheek, making the unicorn blush and nuzzle the pregnant mare affectionately.

“Thank you again darling, this has been a most productive, and pleasant evening.” Rarity remarked.

“And it shan't be the last either.” Celestia added. “I look forward to another of our talks whenever you find the time away from work.”

“I suppose I could find the time.” Rarity murmured, deep in thought. “Just make sure you have another stash of sweets saved up for our next little rendezvous.”

“That's my secret dear, I always have sweets around here somewhere.” Celestia replied with a wink.

Making Rarity giggle. “And you don't end up with a rump like yours without plenty of sweets now either.”

Celestia blushed. “It's worth it.”

Rarity smiled. “I’ll see you soon then darling. Have a wonderful evening.”

“I will.” Celestia replied.

The unicorn leaned forward and returned the kiss Celestia had given earlier, planting it firmly on the mare’s cheek, before Rarity turned to leave. “Oh and do spare some time to consider what manner of dress you’d like for your wedding. Though I suppose you have some time to think about that now don't you?”

Celestia blinked. “Wait what wedding?”

Rarity just giggled, and slipped out the door, her tools, and cloth floating behind her.

“No, wait, come back, what did you mean about a wedding?” Celestia shouted, waddling awkwardly after the much smaller pony. “Rarity? This isn't funny you know!”
