The lives of all entwine with one another, each influencing the other as they go onward. A noble plays in seclusion, locked away to refine her inner talent. A brother and sister are out in the cold winter months, no where to go, and no one to go to. A mare is banished from her home, all because of her ideals, while another is faced with the consequences of new ideas combined with lack of experience. These five seemingly different ponies, all share the connection of life, and the hardships it brings into the cruel world around them.
