The Kreuzung Raid in the Dark Forest
A small but dedicated squad of soldiers from Deponya clash with an opposing threat in their quest to liberate their kingdom from the fanatical crusaders of the knightly order of Hellquill.
The war worsened for the people of Deponya, as Grover the Second's knights of Hellquill begin looting and pillaging the once peaceful kingdom. But in dire times comes desperate measures, as an elite group of soldiers from the royal army get ready to face of against a foe whose numbers and skill appear to be never ending.
This story is written for the 2020 EAW writing contest, a mod based on Hearths of Iron 4.
It is set during the First Crusade against the Riverlands by Kaiser Grover the Second.
