The ponies in Ponyville were quite accustomed to being attacked by villains, monsters, and other shenanigans that living in the same town as the elements of harmony caused them.
But seeing Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Queen Chrysalis, bound with chains and magic nullifiers, being escorted by Celestia, Luna, Discord and Rarity was a new event.
And as any new event, they responded by hiding in their homes until the storm passed.

“Is this really necessary?” Complained Tirek, being dragged by his chains towards the Ponyville spa.

“Of course not, you can be stone statues together forever. I bet you would love that,” Responded Discord with a smug smile.

“It won’t be necessary,” Exclaimed Cozy Glow with clear fear in her voice, standing between the god of chaos and his partner. “We will comply with the… uh. What exactly are we supposed to do?”

“Yeah, what exactly is this ‘new reformation method’ that you speak of?” Asked the princess of the night, looking at Rarity.

“Look, is a new service in the spa, and promises the reformation of villains,” Explained the fashionista.

“And we should trust this method, why?”

“Because… well, the other option is turning them into stone statues.”

“Yeah and is a great idea, and it’s mine, which only makes it more of a great idea.” Complained Discord.

“As much as they may deserve it, we have a standing reputation of making our best efforts to redeem every villain that has threaten Equestria,” Explained Rarity.

“What they have done exceeds any previous villain in recent history,” Commented Celestia, talking for the first time since Rarity proposed the idea. “And they have rejected every opportunity to change their ways.”

“Fair point, but that’s exactly why I proposed this new method. If we have not been able to reform them, maybe we need a new approach to the problem. Consider it their last chance at redemption.”

“How generous of you,” Said Tirek, with venom in his voice.

“It’s my element,” Responded Rarity, ignoring the tone of the magic consuming creature.

“Still, I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving them with any pony other than us,” Said Celestia looking at Chrysalis, who was uselessly trying to free herself of her chains.

“They are bound, weaken, and their magic has been sealed. They are as weak as they will ever be.”

“I could make their limbs disappear. They won’t need them for redemption, right?” Proposed Discord.

“You seem very adamant in punishing them. Should I remind you that this three working together and retrieving the bell was your idea?” Celestia pointed out, her voice taking a menacing tone.

“Uh, yeah, but I have learned my lesson, and I will never do it again.”

“Really? Like when you helped Tirek absorb all the magic in Equestria? Or when you released a slime monster in the middle of the gala because you were jealous? Are we sure you were truly redeemed?”

“Oh, look at the time,” Said Discord, looking at a grandfather clock in the middle of the street. “I’m late for some tea with Fluttershy. Call me when this fails, and we turn them into stone.”

And with that, he disappeared in a flash of light.
Celestia gave a very long sigh, and then looked at Rarity.

“I will give them this chance, but only this one.” She then looked at the villains. “And if any of you do anything nefarious to my little ponies again, you WILL be stone statues, and I will lock you in the dungeon just in case.”

Cozy and Tirek nodded, while Chrysalis simply looked away with a frown.
Once they got to the spa, the first thing they saw was a large post sing that offered the new services.

You helped them make this business? Is this some elaborate marketing campaign?” Asked Luna.

“Of course not. They would pay me if it was.”

“I’m regretting this already,” Exclaimed Celestia looking at the sky, but continued her way into the building.
Almost immediately, Lotus and Aloe appeared.

“Hello princesses! I see that you brought some villains to try out our new service.”

“Were you waiting for us?” Asked Luna, raising an eyebrow.

“No, we would have paid Rarity if that were the case.”

Both princesses looked at each other with some confusion.

“You can leave this three in our hands; we will have them ready by the end of the day.” Said Lotus, taking Tirek by the hand and guiding him towards the back of the spa.

“Wait, we haven’t discussed your security in this project.” Princess Celestia objected, but Aloe dismissed her with a wave of her hand.

“Do not worry Princess, we are experts in the field of making ponies feel comfortable with themselves.”

While she said this, one of the assistants took Cozy Glow and guided her to another room.

“How exactly does your method work?”

“Oh princess, you must know that one can’t just share the secrets of their craft. I promise you that we will take the necessary precautions and treat them with care.” Aloe brushed Chrysalis mane and the changeling queen tried to bite her fingers, but with impressive dexterity, the pony dodged the bite and bumped her in the snout with a finger.

“Well, we will be close by, if you feel in danger, just call for help and we will be here.”

“Thank you for worrying about us. I promise you it won’t be necessary.”

With that said, Aloe dragged Chrysalis to her own room.

“I need some tea,” Exclaimed Celestia.

“I think coffee will be better,” Offered Luna.

Both sisters leaved the spa followed by Rarity, who was discreetly hiding a pouch full of bits in her clothes.
