Scientists from all over the world study these SCP objects. However, they need lab rats. Humans. The fund takes people with no personal data, family, etc. and uses them as test subjects. Some SCPs kill them. But our history is about one person with a unique ability... After another experiment with SCPs, Connor was heading to his room. He had two cellmates: Cactus Guy and Flying Guy. Cactus Guy talked to cactus, while Flying Guy lived on the ceiling because the gravity didn't affect him. Also, there was a dog, whose front end was stuck in the wall, while his back end disappeared. His name was Ruby. Connor also had psychiatrist Natalie Powers, with whom he had a love relationship. He couldn't say that he had a bad life, but he couldn't say that he had a good life. He was living in Zone ** for most of his life. The fund found him when he was a baby. The old woman found him in a car with many dead babies. Why Conor was captured by the SCP fund? It's because of one thing. Connor was the usual human, but with one feature. He was immortal. More precisely, he had regenerative immortality, that allowed him to come back from the dead in the new body that retained everything from his previous body (clothing, memory, etc.). Connor had no idea how he got his ability. Sometimes he thought it's a gift, but in another time he thought its curse. He sometimes dreamed about escaping from his containment, but he knew that it's impossible to even with his immortality. But Connor had friends in the fund, who brightened up his life. All of them were friendly SCPs, which weren't a threat to humanity. However, inside his soul, he wanted to be free. Connor was cut off from his thoughts when he finally approached the door of his room. He pushed the button and the door opened. He saw his roommates Cactus Guy (a man with orange hair and mustache, who was wearing glasses) and Flying Guy(a black man with dark hair). "Hi". "Oh, hi Connor." "Sup." "So, how'd the test go?" "Ah, as always. Well, it's better than the immortal lizard." "Or that dude that can kill people by touch and turn them into zombies." "Wait, there is a guy who can make zombies?" "What?" "Ah, nevermind." "Hey guys, I'll go to bed early." "Ok." "No problem." Connor closed his eyes and plunged in the dream world. Dreamworld Connor found yourself on the flower field with bright sun. He was confused because he didn't have such a dream at all. Suddenly he saw a man who was dressed in a business suit from the cold war. Connor approached the man and asked: "Ahm, hello." The man turned around and said: "Hello, Connor." "How did you know my name?" "I just know." "So, what' your name?" "Scientists from SCP fund call me SCP-990 "Dream man". But you can call me Richard." "Okay Richard, so are you too traped in the fund?" "No, I live in dreams. So I am free from the fund." "Hm, lucky." "You want to leave the fond, don't you?" "Yeah, I just want to be free and see the world outside." "No worries, because soon you will be free." With these words, Richard disappeared. "Wait, what?" Suddenly, the vortex appeared and sucked Connor. When he got inside, he was surrounded by space with stars. "Alright, that's weird." The teleport appeared behind him and it sucked Connor again. Suddenly he woke up and found yourself on the grass. He looked at his surroundings and found a pond. He looked at his reflection and saw that he was the same in the same Class-D uniform. He pinched yourself, thinking that it was a dream, but it wasn't. "I am free. I AM FINALLY FREE!" shouted Connor to the night sky. He began laughing and rolling on the ground because of happiness. After a few minutes, he calmed down and decided to build a shelter. He found a cave near the pond and decided to sleep there. He lied on the ground and fell asleep, feeling the relief because he finally escaped from SCP fund. However, a few questions still bothered him. Where was he? How did he get here? Will the fund find him or he will start a new life? However, he plunged in a dream world. Dreamworld Connor found yourself in the same field and was completely alone. He started searching for Dream Man and found him sitting on the bench. He approached him and said: "It's you send me there?" "Yes, and that's our last talk. Because it's another dimension." "What do you mean another dimension?" "You are on the Earth, but it's an alternative universe, where the SCP fund doesn't exist. So, no worries about them." "So, I stuck here forever." "It will depend on you, but now it's time for you to wake up." Connor opened his eyes and saw he was still in the cave and was met by the bright sun. It was an afternoon. He went out from there and drank water from the pond. Suddenly he heard rumbling in his stomach. "Alright, I need to find something to eat." With these words, he went to the forest to find something edible. He was walking and looking at the trees, sky, animals, and sun. He was struck by the beauty of nature. Soon he found mushrooms and bushes with berries. He didn't know, were they edible or not. But he didn't care about it, because if he dies, he will come back. He took as much as he could and came back to the pond. He collected some branches, piled them up and tried to make fire by friction of branches. Soon Connor was sitting near the fire and holding a stick with mushrooms. He picked them up and berries in the forest. Then he began eating. After the last bite, he extinguishes the fire and came back to the cave, where he lied on the ground. For the first time in his life, he finally felt free from everything. With these thoughts, he closed his eyes and began falling asleep but suddenly he heard something. It sounded like...song. Someone was singing. He came out from the cave and started to search for the source of the song. Soon he saw something bright in the forest. While he was approaching the light, the song was becoming louder and now he heard the guitar. He hid behind the bushes and saw who was singing. It was a girl in a cowboy hat. She was singing and playing on the guitar. The other 6 girls were listening to her with relaxation and calm. The first one was with purple hair and glasses. The second had a pink curly hair. The third had violet hair and earrings. The fourth one had light pink hair and was petting a rabbit. The fifth had rainbow-colored hair. The sixth one had red-yellow hair and was wearing a jacket. When the cowboy girl finished singing everyone applauded. "Wow, Applejack, that was a very beautiful song." said the purple girl with glasses. "Oh, thanks Twilight." "That was awesome." "Yeah, I know Pinkie." "Do you know another song like that?" asked the violet girl. "Of course Rarity." Then she began singing about the loneliness. Everyone was listening to her. Connor was so fascinated by the song that he accidentally stepped on the branch. Crack Applejack instantly stops singing and turned into the source of the noise. It was behind bushes. Everyone was silent. Finally, the bright pink girl talked: "Who is there? You can get out of the bushes. We won't hurt you." "Fluttershy, it can be dangerous." said a red-yellow hair girl. "No worries Sunset, she knows what she's doing." said rainbow-colored hair girl. "I hope it is so Rainbow Dash." Meanwhile, Connor was thinking about his choices. After a few awkward seconds Connor spoke: "Hello, no worries I won't hurt you." "Who are you ?" asked Twilight. "My name is Connor." "What are you doing here?" At that moment, Connor began thinking about explanations. There was a slim chance that girls will believe that he was from an alternative universe. After 2 seconds he said: "I was just walking around and heard you singing." Applejack looked at his eyes and said: "You are lying. Tell us the truth." Connor was nervous. Then he decided to tell the truth: "Alright. I am from another dimension." Everybody looked at him with confusion, but Applejack said: "He's telling the truth." "Alright, we believe to you." "Seriously?" "Yes, we have a portal that leads to another universe," said Pinkie. "Alright." "Wait, are you seriously believing in that?" "Believe me, I saw many weird things since my childhood." "So, sit there." Connor sat on the free sit. Then Twilight said: "I am Twilight Sparkle. That's Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, and Sunset Shimmer. So can you tell us about your dimension?" "Okay. In my dimension, strange things and creatures began appearing in the world, so countries made an organization named "SCP fund". SCP means "Secure.Contain.Protect." The fund was collecting these SCP objects and began studying them. However, they needed lab rats, correctly people, because many SCPs affected only humans. These lab rats were named Class-D. These people were usually homeless, people without data or family, etc. Of course, many SCPs were hostile and many people died in the experiments." "Sorry that I am asking you that but can you tell us your first death?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Well, I didn't even saw my parents. My mom left me in the car, left and never came back. Soon old woman found me in that car, which was full of dead babies. So my first death was because of exhaustion." Everyone was shocked by this. How that could happen to the baby? Fluttershy hugged Connor tightly, then everybody approached and hugged him. "You are such a poor man." "Ugh, thanks I guess." Everybody released Connor. Then Fluttershy asked: "So, nobody liked you?" "I had a love relationship with my psychiatrist. She was very nice and honest. I miss her." "No worries, you won't be a lab rat anymore. But where will you live?" asked Rarity. "Well, I live alone so he can live with me," said Sunset. "Oh, Sunset, it's very nice of you," said Pinkie. "Alright girls, let's pick up our stuff and go home." With those words, everyone began collecting their things. After a few minutes, they extinguished the fire and approached the van. While the van was riding, Connor was thinking about what will happen the next day and how is Natalie?" With those thoughts, he fell asleep. Next morning Connor woke up on the bed. He looked at his surroundings and saw that he was in the room. "Ah, hello?" "You woke up," said Sunset. "Yeah, where am I?" "That's my flat. Feel yourself like at home." "Thanks," said Connor, then he smelled something. "What does it smell?" asked Connor getting up from the bed. "I just cooked breakfast. Let's go." With those words, Sunset headed to a kitchen, while Connor followed her. When he entered the kitchen, he saw a table with plates, on which were omelet and bacon. He took a seat and began eating. "So what are you thinking?" "Mmm, it's delicious." "Thanks." After breakfast Sunset washed the dishes and began preparing for the school. She wore her jacket and backpack. Suddenly Connor asked: "Where are you going?" "I am going to school." "What's school?" "It's a place where people get knowledge. If you want to go for a walk, close the door, keys on the table. Bye." "Bye." Connor waved to Sunset and she closed the door. Then he began looking around. Many things were familiar to him, but some things he didn't know. Feeling boredom, he decided to go outside. He closed the door and came out of the house. He was astonished by the look of the city. Buildings were multi-colored, the sun was shining brightly and birds were singing. "Wow," said Connor. While he was walking, people were looking at him. They were suspicious of him for some reason. Soon Connor looked at his clothes and understood why people were looking at him. Suddenly he saw a big building with a sign near. It said "Canterlot High School." "Hmm, I think Sunset is studying there." thought himself, Connor. "Can you please leave us alone?" Connor turned to the source of the voice. He saw two teenage girls bullying three children. "We are in a hurry." "Just give me your launch money." "We don't have them." "You are ly-" she didn't end her sentence, because someone put the arm on her shoulder. "Can you please leave them alone?" Diamond Tiara turned around and saw a man dark hair and wearing orange clothes like a prisoner. "Who are you? Anyway, pass out, I am busy here." "Leave them or I will make you do it." "Alright, I will just return to the house. Bye." "Bye, Connor." Connor turned around and began heading to the house, but suddenly he heard a beep. He turned to the left and saw a truck ridding into him. "Oh, shit." That was his last words before the truck hit him and was crushed by the massive car. Everybody gasped. Applejack closed CMC's eyes. Soon they saw Connor's body. His left arm was twisted in the wrong angle. From his right leg, the bone was seen. His head was turned to 1800. His body was broken and some ribs were sticking out from the skin. Rarity threw out in the trashcan. Fluttershy was covering her mouth and tears were running on her face. Suddenly the bright light. Then Connor appeared near his dead body completely safe and sound. "Aaa." screamed Rarity. "So, it was your regenerative immortality, yeah?" "Yeah. Of course, death is painful. But I used to it." Suddenly he was bumped into the ground by CMC. "That was awesome." "Is that your superpower?" "Are you immortal?" "Girls. Don't bother him with questions." "Sorry." Girls got off Connor and he got up on his legs. Twilight was fascinated by such phenomena and was thinking about testing. "We need to study for you. I need my equipment and labora-" she was cut off by Sunset's hand covering her mouth. "Please not again. I am afraid that it will end up with more corpses." He decided that it would be a good place for hiding the corpse. He entered the forest and began digging a grave using the branch. After an hour of hardworking, he finally took his corpse and put it in the grave. Then he began burying it. Soon he was heading to Sunset's flat dirty clothing. Meanwhile in Canterlot High "So, we saw his ability. How we are gonna rid of the corpses if he dies?" asked Applejack. "Just bury them. Easy," answered RD. "Yeah, but his ability is unique. She cried the whole night because Connor suddenly disappeared from his cell. None of his cellmates know where he's gone. When Natalie knew that she lost her words. She just lost the man she loved and them she locked in her office. Suddenly someone knocked. "I'm busy," said Natalie through tears. "Natalie, site manager wants to talk with you." Natalie was surprised. Why does the site manager want to talk with her? "Alright, give me 5 seconds," said Natalie. She opened the door and followed the guard with M416. Then she finally entered the...empty room. She looked around and saw a mobile phone on the floor. Suddenly it began ringing. Natalie took the phone and answered. "Hello." "Good evening, Mrs. Natalie. How are you?" said the cold and unemotional voice. "Good evening, Mr. site manager. What is the reason you want to talk with me?" They were surprised to see a man in a jail uniform. Suddenly someone poked him. "Excuse me, sir, what are you doing here?" asked Celestia. "Ow, I am just waiting for Pinkie," answered Connor. "Alright, so what's your name?" "Connor." Soon Mane 7 approached Connor. "Hey Connor," said Twilight. "Hi, Twilight." "So you know each other?" "Yes." "Connor, Pinkie said you wanted to see someone." Natalie was sitting at the table and thinking about Connor. She wanted to find him. Suddenly the knock to the door cut off her from her thoughts. "How is there?" "It is Celestia. Someone wants to see you." "Alright," said Natalie. She opened the door and met Connor. They looked at each other for 2 seconds. "Connor!" shouted Natalie. She hugged and kissed him. "Alright, I won't interrupt you," said Celestia heading to her office. Then Mane 7 entered the room. "How did you get there?" asked Connor. Natalie sighed and told him everything. She was singing and playing on the guitar. The other 6 girls were listening to her with relaxation and calm. The first one was with purple hair and glasses. The second had a pink curly hair. The third had violet hair and earrings. The fourth one had light pink hair and was petting a rabbit. The fifth had rainbow-colored hair. The sixth one had red-yellow hair and was wearing a jacket. When the cowboy girl finished singing everyone applauded. "Wow, Applejack, that was a very beautiful song." said the purple girl with glasses. "Oh, thanks Twilight." "That was awesome." "Yeah, I know Pinkie." "Do you know another song like that?" asked the violet girl. "Of course Rarity." Then she began singing about the loneliness. Everyone was listening to her.
