Spruce Spanner was a brilliant (if a bit reclusive) scientist until that fateful day when the accident took place.

Her latest high-tech invention that could treat various types of animal illnesses overloaded, and even though she managed to save her patients, she could not prevent herself from being exposed to radiation.

It took her intellect away, replaced it with pure unadulterated rage, and turned her into something straight out of a nightmare.
