I slowly opened my eyes. Beside me was the walls of two different buildings reaching up to the second story. I set up, looking around. I was in the middle of an alleyway. My first thought was that I got mugged. Looking at my wallet and belongings said otherwise however. I still even had the rings I bought before...I can't remember what I was doing before. I found a small mirror and checked for any injuries I might have had. The mirror was cracked, likely why it was out here, and I didn't have any injuries. What I did notice was that I looked...Different. I couldn't tell what it was but I knew something was different about me. I opened the box of rings I had. I took out the center ring and placed it on my right middle finger. Not sure why, it just felt right for some reason. I felt an early winter breeze send a chill down my spine. I pulled out some wool mittens I had on me. I closed the box and left the alleyway. On my way out I bumped into someone and fell to the ground, dropping the box in the process.
"Aw crap. You ok kid?" The voice was raspy but had some slight, I mean slight, base to it. I looked up to see a strange sight. A woman with white fur and electric blue hair. On her forehead was a white horn. She wore a light blue and white jacket with grey sweatpants. I couldn't see her eyes because they were blocked by a pair of purple shades. I got up and dusted myself off.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. Are you good?" I could tell that she was caught a little off guard.
"How old are you?" I'm not sure why she would ask me that.
"I'm 14." I answered honestly. At least I think it was. I'm still not entirely sure who I am yet.
"Where's your family?" I'm not sure what it was that struck a chord with me. Faces of people flashed in my mind. Some felt like they were close to me while others were only people I saw rarely. They all felt like family to me, even if they looked nothing like me. I felt tears well up in my eyes as my vision got blurry. The woman realized this and went to say something. I didn't pay attention to it. I spun on my heel and ran.
I wasn't sure where I was going but I wasn't going to stop soon. More of these pony people tried to stop me but I managed to slip them each time. By the time I got a hold of myself I was back in the alley I woke up in. I went to open the box when I realized that I didn't have it anymore. I went searching for the box but couldn't find it. I started asking around about if anyone they know found them. Eventually I was led to the Carousel Boutique. It was a clothing store that did custom requests. I knocked on the door and was greeted by someone around my age.
"I'm looking for a Rarity Belle. I heard that she found my rings." The girl was in thought for a moment.
"She went to the library to tell Twilight about them. Something about hidden powers or something?" I nodded my head and jogged off. I need to find the library. If I don't get those rings back then...Then I know that I let someone important to me down. I found the library and ran inside. The six women Inside jumped, six of them hiding one of their hands.
"I'm looking for...Twilight sparkle." A purple fured woman stepped forward, her hands behind her back. She wore a purple blouse with a dark blue skirt. She had a norn on her forehead.
"Th-That's me. You looking for a book?"
"No, I lost some rings earlier and I was told that you had them." She started getting a little nervous, everyone was.
"Yeah, I do. Are they Important to you?"
I nodded rapidly, "Yes! They have been passed down my family for the past 9 generations. I was supposed to be part of the tenth generation to receive them." Everyone, and I mean everyone, started to look very nervous. Slowly they revealed their hands. Six of them had the rings on, Twilight included. They took off the rings and placed them into the box. Twilight handed the box back to me.
"We're all very sorry. None of us realized how important they were. Rarity brought them to me saying they had a enchantment to them. We put them on to see what the enchantments were but couldn't find out what they were." I opened the box. Only five of them were inside. I was still missing the red ring.
"Um...I'm still missing the red ring." Everybody turned to the blue fured, rainbow haired woman. She wore a white tee-shirt and basketball shorts. On her left middle finger was the ring.
"What? He's just a kid. You can't actually believe him. He doesn't have any proof that it's his." I proceeded to take off my right glove, revealing my ring before putting my glove back on. Her face started to turn red. She used her wings that I didn't notice at first to fly near the ceiling. I started to get slightly angry. My hands and head felt a little hot. I thought it was simply because I was getting angry and I was wearing gloves inside.
"Give back the Storm ring before I take it by force." Everybody was staring at me in shock.
"Wh-Who are you?" The rainbow woman asked me. Her voice had a slight waiver to it. Everything started going back to me. Reborn, my friends, my enemies...My famiglia. I knew exactly who I was again and what my purpose was.
"I'm Tsunayoshi Sawada, The tenth generation boss of the Vongola Famiglia."
